A Walnut Mantel Timepiece with Passing Strike, signed Barraud & Lund, Cornhill, London, No.1685, circa 1840, applied carved scroll and floral decoration to the front door, elaborate gilt dial with Roman numerals, scroll and floral engraving, single fusee movement with anchor escapement and passing strike on the hour, movement secured by brackets, 27cm high 07.05.13, Case has faded due to sunlight damage, case with cracks to the sides and a dent to the top right hand side, side keyhole appears to have had a piece of wood inserted around keyhole, front door with some cracking to the applied carved mouldings, front door is very slightly bowed, backdoor glass with a crack, movement looks complete, passing strike is functioning.

A Mahogany Striking Table Clock, signed Thos Reid, Edinburgh, circa 1790, inverted bell top with carrying handle, glazed side panels, 8-inch brass dial with silvered Roman and Arabic chapter ring, dial centre signed and with date dial, arched with strike/silent selection, twin fusee movement converted back to verge escapement and striking on a bell, backplate signed within engraved floral border, secured by brackets, 56cm high 08.05.13, Case has been restored to the surfaces and polished throughout, the inverted bell top looks to have been re-built at some time, side glass panels have been replaced, wooden feet have been later added, front and back door glasses have been replaced, front door top frets have been later added, underside of the clock case with two vacant holes which would appear to have been movement securing holes at some time, dial looks clean, later hands, movement backplate looks slightly dirty and needs cleaning, two vacant small holes to the front and backplate next to the escapement arbors and this appears that the escapement has been converted from anchor back to verge escapement, movement in going order at present.

An Oak Eight Day Longcase Clock, T Mawkes, Belper, circa 1800, swan neck pediment, mahogany crossbanded trunk door, 13-inch painted arched dial, seconds and date aperture, arch with rolling moonphase, four pillar movement with attached falseplate stamped Byrne, anchor escapement and rack striking on a bell, 219cm high 23.05.13, Case has been cleaned throughout and has lightened in parts, case with some chips to the edges in parts, hoor door with some later added veneer, plinth with the skirting replaced and the feet are missing, dial has been totally re-painted, some crazing cracks and slight re-touching to paint work, movement looks slightly dirty and needs cleaning.

A Late Regency Rosewood Collector`s Cabinet on Stand in the Manner of Gillows, 2nd quarter 19th century, with gadrooned decoration, the hinged door enclosing four small drawers between column pilasters and brass carrying handles to the sides, raised on a stand with drawer, 42cm by 39cm by 110cm Cabinet and stand in two sections. Stand reasonable, consistent with age, with the exception of front right hand corner with split running through carved decoration and along the front edge, approx 15cm. Drawer difficult to move - swollen. Block of timber missing to end of drawer. Cabinet with colour loss and bleaching, particularly the top section. Several minor natural? splits, otherwise good. The cabinet is fitted with three drawers and enclosed by a parquetry panelled door under a needlework compartment, with silk embroidered interior to the rising cover which is decorated with a central pietra dura motif within chequer and target marquetry panels. It is moulded and carved throughout and has one base drawer, supported on bun feet, 16"w, 20.5"h.
