An attractive 19th Century "Aesthetic" Display Cabinet, by Lamb of Manchester, the walnut and ebonised body with a turned gallery top over a breakfront section with glazed doors, flanked by bevelled mirror sides, supported by turned pillars, over a base with frieze drawers, above a decorated central panel door, flanked each side by an open series of shelves, on turned feet, stamped on drawers, approx. 155cms (61") high x 104cms (41") wide. An important Irish Provincial Longcase Clock by James Aiken of Cork, the arched and moulded cornice above an arched brass dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, on a silverized chapter ring, with subsidiary dial for seconds and date aperture, under a convex roundel to the arch, with maker name, the trunk with an arched door, and on moulded box base, with bracket feet, approx. 220cms x 53cms (87" x 21").
