It is described as being in 'very good condition' with notable features being the manual sunroof and its original radio with graphic equaliser. Of course, there's also the fuel-injected 2792cc V6 engine which is generally regarded as the best engine for MkIII Capris. The mileage of 69,296 miles showing on the odometer is believed to be genuine by the vendor, although it can't be warranted by the paperwork. However, the MoT information does is quite supportive of the low mileage. The history file includes the V5C, a selection of MoT certificates from 1986 to 1990, 2008, 2011 to 2012, 2014 to 2015, 2018, 2020 and 2022. The present MoT is valid until March 2023. 1966 Wolseley Hornet MKIIMake: Wolseley Model: Hornet Year: 1966Mileage: 59840VIN: WA2S2793248Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: EPV329DTransmission: manualThe Wolseley Hornet was, along with its Riley Elf sister, an early attempt to produce an upmarket version of the Mini. Launched in 1961, the Hornet and Elf were given larger boots, rear fins and traditional upright grilles, along with leather seats and wood on the fascia. The models progressed from MkIs with 34bhp 848cc engines to MkIIs with 38bhp 998cc motors and then MkIIIs with concealed door hinges and wind-up windows. As a MkII Hornet, this is arguably the most desirable of the variants, with the original body style but the more powerful engine. This Wolseley was registered in May 1966, just before the progression from MkII to MkIII. It has been restored and still looks quite fresh, with a new-looking interior, very good paintwork and a solid underneath. The vendor tells us that the car drives well with good oil pressure, describing it as a 'good, all-round solid car that has covered just 1600 miles since 2002'.

This includes new balljoints and track rod ends and Powerflex bushes at the front and rear. New brake pads have been fitted front and rear throughout as well, with the calipers being fitted with new seals and pistons and all brake pipes replaced. Any rot found was cut out and new metal welded in. The engine was serviced and a new battery has been installed. All four tyres are recent fitments, with laser tracking carried out on all four wheels. The Gulf colour scheme was applied towards the end of 2020/beginning of 2021. The Jaguar was registered in October 1998 and has 11 former registered keepers recorded. Its odometer reading is 124,056 miles and its MoT expires in February 2023. 1980 Jaguar XJ12 5.3 Auto Series IIIMake: Jaguar Model: XJ12 Year: 1980Mileage: 20272VIN: JBALW3CC317158Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: NNG484VTransmission: automatic 5,343cc. Fitted with rare P digital engine. This saloon was previously owned by the captain of a ship named Bluebird which was supplied new to Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1935. Its big moment in history though came in 1940 when it was one of the "little ships" involved in ferrying British troops into and back out of Dunkirk. The ship was entered into preservation in the 1960s and in 1980 was acquired by well known art dealer, Martin Summer, who appointed a full time skipper. In 1990 Summer bought this Jaguar for his skipper to commemorate a milestone in his life. When the skipper was at sea, the XJ12 was stored in a warehouse in Southampton. A book was written about the Bluebird by Martin Summer. When the skipper sold the XJ12 to its fourth owner in 2003, a commemoration was signed in the opening page. In August 2021, the car was featured in Jaguar World where it is described as "It's not perfect, but the patina is beautiful. It smells and feels like a 41-year old XJ should - old and slightly careworn, but completely serviceable. Even the chrome is original." The article runs over three pages and is include in the file. It registers seven owners from new. Comes with the signed book, Bluebird, some receipts, MoTs, handbook, wallet and various documents. The mileage is recorded at 20,272.
1970 Fiat 500L Make: Fiat Model: 500L Year: 1970Mileage: 22638VIN: 2645584Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: UBH415JTransmission: manualFinished in a very period shade of, we believe, Giallo Positano, this 500L (with the 'L' standing for 'Lusso' meaning 'Luxury') is described by the vendor as having a 'very solid bodyshell'. The sunroof has been rebuilt and new front brakes and wheel bearings have recently been fitted. The engine has been swapped for a spare unit, but the original one comes with the car, although it needs reconditioning. It was also noted during our test drive of the car that it jumped out of first gear. The vendor has owned the car, which was registered in December 1970 and currently shows 22,638 miles on its odometer, since he was at school and has worked on it gradually over several years. However, he does report that, at 6ft 3in tall, comfort can be a problem. The history folder includes the current V5C document showing four registered former keepers, plus some previous V5C documents. There's some assorted invoices from 2015 to 2021 (including the one for the new black mohair sunroof costing £90) and a collection of photos. The MoT certificates date from 2015 to 2018, with the last one expiring in June 2019. A workshop manual is also included. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 30TH MARCH BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1971 Lotus Type 69 Formula ThreeMake: Lotus Model: Type 69Year: 1971Mileage: 0VIN: 71/69/12FBConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: Contact AucitoneerTransmission: manualThe history of this 1971 Lotus Type 69 Formula 3 racer has been researched by Duncan Rabagliati, a motoring historian and Historic Lotus Register registrar and Motorsport UK HTP inspector for Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile (FIA) papers, who also has copies of the original Lotus 69 production records. The records show that Type 69 Formula 3 chassis number 71/69/12 FB was the last of the FB chassis. Although unsold in 1971, it was a full-build rolling chassis with fire extinguisher and seat belts. It was recorded as being taken back into stock, until March 1972, when Lotus Cars advertised it for sale in Motoring News. It was sold to Italian racing driver Claudio Francisci, who campaigned it, with F3 1600cc engine, in Formula 3 races throughout 1972, including the F3 support race to that year's Monaco GP. The paperwork folder includes supporting evidence from Claudio Francisci regarding his ownership of the car, a list of racing results from 1972 and more extensive write-ups on some of the races the Lotus participated in, along with some Italian paperwork. It seems to have returned to this country again in 2018. As the car is one that raced in period to the correct specification of a 1600cc F3 car between 1971 and 1973, it is eligible to enter the HSCC Classic F3 Championship and to obtain an HSCC VIF (Vehicle Identity Form). It's also eligible for a FIA Historic Technical Passport (HTP). Novamotor Twin Cam Engine. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 22ND FEBUARY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

It's believed that only 15 were ever made; how many survive isn't known. This one, in a very distinctive Pastel Green and overall very good condition, is based on a 1972 Volkswagen Beetle, registered in February of that year. It has a period interior fitted, with wooden dash (albeit retaining the single Beetle main gauge) and the engine has been upgraded to 1641cc (in 2021). The chassis has also been rebuilt, and the car comes with hood and frame as well as its rear tonneau. The paperwork folder includes the V5C comprehensive build documentation including bills, some recent work invoices and pictures of the original donor car and other Kestrels.
1981 Ford Capri 3.0 SMake: FordModel: Capri 3.0 SYear: 1981Mileage: 72852VIN: WF0CXXGAECBA11996Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: ULX210XTransmission: ManualThis 1981 Ford Capri Mk3 is fitted with the 3.0-litre Essex V6 engine that, at the time it came out, was the range-topping power unit for the model, giving 138bhp. In S specification, as here, the 3.0 was the most desirable of the early Mk3s, and it was the model that was showcased on The Professionals TV series in the early 1980s, with Bodie driving a silver 3.0 S and Doyle a gold 3.0 S. Registered in September 1981, this 2994cc Capri has four former previous keepers registered on its logbook, with the vendor having owned it since 1988. He tells us that the engine was rebuilt 5000 miles ago, to 'Fast Road' standard by Ford specialist Burton Power in Essex. Road tests showed 185bhp at the rear wheels. It's also been lowered two inches using Leda springs and gas shockers. The car has been SORN since 2008, so will need some recommissioning. It is believed there's a blockage between the fuel tank and the carburettor, which is preventing the car from running properly at the moment. However, with fuel fed directly into the car, by-passing the tank, the Capri runs well.
1966 JBSS 1200 SpyderMake: JBSSModel: 1200 Spyder Year: 1966Mileage: 65960VIN: GD43741RSConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: HYC257DTransmission: manualYou're unlikely to come across another car like this. It's a JBSS 1200 Spyder, a fascinating track day special based on a Triumph Herald but now much more potent. Initially started as a conversion to a Sammio (Herald-based kit car) by a previous owner, it was left unfinished and instead received a one-off aluminium racing body on top of the Sammio tubular structure. The Triumph Herald engine has been replaced by a Suzuki GSXF 1100 unit and gearbox, with the aim being to create a sprint/hillclimb/trackday special. The car was previously sold by ACA in 2016, when it was noted that the fuel, brake, suspension and steering components were either new or refurbished. The JBSS seems to have been little-used since then. The 1147cc Herald on which the car was based was registered in May 1966, and four former registered keepers are recorded. The odometer currently shows 65,960 miles, with the last MoT expiring in May 2017. The paperwork file includes the V5C and a large stack of invoices and other literature relating to the build and running of the JBSS, testifying to a lot of money spent over the years. The folder also includes a parts manual for the Suzuki engine, along with printed photos of the special aluminium body under construction.

1973 Lancia Fulvia Coupe 1.3 SMake: LanciaModel: Fulvia Coupe 1.3 SYear: 1973Mileage: 56807VIN: 818631047627Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: YYY721MTransmission: ManualThis very lovely Lancia Fulvia has been owned by the vendor for the last seven years and was restored by him during that time. It has been resprayed a genuine Lancia colour - Bianca Saratoga with Weinrot roof - with the carburettors tuned and the engine serviced within the last six months. New SAS tyres are a recent fitment too. The vendor reports that the car 'runs well and drives very well'. It is in excellent condition inside and out, precisely as you'd expect of a freshly restored vehicle. The Lancia was registered in September 1973, but initially used abroad. It received a British registration in October 1990. The odometer shows 56,807 miles.
1955 Ford Zephyr Zodiac Mk1Make: FordModel: Zephyr 6Year: 1955Mileage: 889VIN: EOTTA141971Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: LWN829Transmission: manualIf this smart 1955 Ford Zephyr Zodiac MkI looks a little familiar, that's because it appeared in Netflix's very popular The Crown TV series, popping up in Series 2 episode 1 as the personal car of Commander Parker, the equerry to the Queen and Prince Philip. Finished in Dorchester Grey and Winchester Blue and fitted with a rear Continental spare wheel kit, the car was first registered in May 1955. Its owner from 1990 to 2008 was a professional panel beater and mechanic and he gave the car a full body-off restoration, a photographic record of which is included in the history folder. Where necessary, lead-loading was used rather than any filler, and the Ford was also rewired with a brand new loom, while the engine was rebuilt with new pistons, rings and valves. At this point, the odometer was zeroed.
2006 Renault Megane Sport 225 F1 TeamMake: Renault Model: Megane Sport 225 F1 Team Year: 2006Mileage: 99056VIN: VF1CM0M0635258412Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: RE06GFATransmission: manualRenault's 'F1 Team' edition of its performance-orientated Sport 225 Megane was released to commemorate the French marque winning the F1 Championship in 2005 and, along with the the usual cosmetic and mechanical tweaks found on the 225 models, also came in Renault's racing colours with wider and lightened black gloss 18in alloys, increased front and rear spring rates and improved brakes. Inside were Recaro bucket seats and, of course, the vital numbered plaque. This example is number 469. Registered in May 2006 and with an MoT valid until December 2022, the odometer is now showing 99,056 miles. Two former registered keepers are recorded on the V5C. The paperwork file includes the V5C and a rolling road print-out from July 2021 showing 244bhp engine power and 195bhp at the wheels. There's also a 2022 letter from a garage confirming a new timing belt kit and water pump was fitted in December 2019 at 94,101 miles. The other invoices date from between 2011 and 2013, and include a Superchip conversion carried out in July 2011. The MoT certificates date from 2019, 2018, 2017, 2016, 2015 and 2014. 1960 Riley 1.5 Make: RileyModel: 1.5Year: 1960Mileage: 71000VIN: RHSR118519Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: VVS734Transmission: ManualOriginally envisaged as a Morris Minor replacement, the Riley One-Point-Five and Wolseley 1500 range instead emerged as small but stylish sports saloons. They were produced from 1957 to 1965 and utilised the Morris Minor floorpan, suspension and steering but with the larger 1,489cc B-Series engine and MG Magnette gearbox. It is believed that less than 40 Riley One-Point-Fives remain on the road today. This example was registered in April 1960 and has had nine previous registered keepers from new. The odometer records around 71,000 miles from new. The vendor tells us that many new parts have been fitted in the last year including a fuel pump, head gasket, track rod ends, universal joints, thermostat, washer motor, rear brake shoes and more. It has also been changed to negative earth. The extensive history folder and includes the current and past V5Cs, plus a large stack on invoices dating back to the 1990s. These include a new carpet set in 2017 (£222.99) two new tyres in November 2017 and a full respray in April 2018 (£1800). Two sheets of paper have hand-written notes also list parts fitted over 2016, 2017 and 2021. There's also a print-out of past information from the DVLA and MoT certificates from 1995, 1997 1999, 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017. A genuine ring-bound BMC workshop manual is a very useful inclusion as well.
1978 Land Rover 88 Series III"Make: Land Rover Model: 88" Series IIIYear: 1978Mileage: 23600VIN: 90623544AConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: VWJ796STransmission: manThis 2286cc diesel Series III 88in Land Rover had been upgraded with the doors, bonnet, grille, dashboard and seats from a Land Rover 90, The vendor tells us that the chassis and bulkhead are good, and as is the gearbox, and the engine runs well. The vendor feels it is now 'in need of some use, as it has not been run a lot since being got back on the road'. The Landie was registered in May 1978 and has 23,600 miles recorded on its odometer, although this isn't warranted. The paperwork file includes the V5C plus three MoT certificates from 2007, 2008 and 2021, with the vehicle apparently out of use between 2008 and 2021. The present MoT is valid until November 2022.
1966 Vanden Plas Princess 4 litre R AutoMake: Vanden PlasModel: Princess RYear: 1966Mileage: 80455VIN: VRS36795Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: HOK288DTransmission: automaticThe 'R' in the title of the Vanden Plas Princess 4 Litre R referenced its Rolls-Royce-derived 3909cc FB60 all-aluminium engine of 175bhp, and was in production from 1964 to 1968 as one of BMC's flagship models. This two-tone Peat over Stone (grey) example, with cream leather interior, is described by the vendor as a 'very nice car that runs and drives well' and has recently (June 2020) had brakes and brake lines overhauled, a power steering leak repaired and all its fluids renewed at a cost of £5000 with receipts. The car, with only two previous registered keepers, was previously owned by a member of the Vanden Plas Owner s' Club. The car was registered in the UK in December 1966, but seems to have been initially used abroad for part of its first year, according to the V5C. The odometer now reads 80,445 miles, although this isn't warranted. The paperwork folder includes the V5C, the bill for the £5000 brake work and service, a 2019 issue of the Vanden Plas Owners' Club magazine, an original BMC marketing brochure, and a genuine BMC workshop manual, as well as an owners' club build and dating certificate.
1968 Jensen Interceptor MKIMake: Jensen Model: Interceptor Year: 1968Mileage: 1058VIN: 1152823Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: PEU82FTransmission: automatic This Jensen Interceptor MkI was registered in June 1968, two years after the model was launched. A total of 1029 MkI cars were built up until October 1969, 923 of which were right-hand drive. It was acquired by our vendor in 2019 as a part-completed project with the body having been restored and painted. It is believed that the vast majority of the parts needed come with the car, including the engine and gearbox. Unfortunately, as can often be the case, other commitments have placed this Jensen at the end of the queue so it is being offered for sale in the hope that someone else can complete the project. The vendor believes that the most expensive aspect - the body restoration - is largely complete, so the car just needs the mechanicals and reassembly undertaken. 1058 miles are recorded, although this isn't warranted. The car comes with its current and older V5Cs, Jensen Motors Statement of Origin (Heritage certificate equivalent) showing it to be Mist Grey with black leather and power steering, and copies of the factory build records and some early correspondence with Jensen Motors largely regarding work being completed under guarantee. There are also copies of a couple of magazine articles relating to Jensen Interceptors. Eight former registered keepers are noted on the V5C.
1972 Jensen Interceptor MKIIIMake: Jensen Model: Interceptor Year: 1972Mileage: 76922VIN: 1284862Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: VOY283LTransmission: automatic First registered in October 1972, this Jensen Interceptor MkIII, with 7212cc Chrysler V8 engine, is a project for recommissioning or restoration. Its odometer shows 76,922 miles although this isn't warranted, as there is no paperwork beyond the V5C and SORN documentation accompanying the car.

The paperwork folder includes the V5C showing just one UK owner. There are MoT certificates from 2022 and 2021 plus a Lotus EC Certificate of Conformity as well as a Lotus Certificate of Origin for a Motor Vehicle. 1983 Ford Escort RS 1600i Make: Ford Model: Escort RS 1600i Year: 1983Mileage: 47409VIN: WFOBXXGCABDY50166Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: A116MNMTransmission: manualThis example of one of the hotter and rarer MkIII Escorts - just 8659 RS1600is were built - was registered in September 1983. With its fuel-injected 1597cc engine (it was, incidentally, the first Escort variant to receive fuel injection), the RS1600i generated 113bhp. The Escort has (1)47,409 miles recorded on its odometer, with 17 former keepers noted by the V5C. Its last MoT expired in 23 September 2016. Included in the paperwork folder are several invoices dating back to 1998. These include refurbished alloy wheels in 2012 and engine work on the valves and cylinder head in 2014. There are also photos of the Escort's rebuild and renovation - although it's unclear quite when this was - plus a copy of a Fast Ford magazine article on the RS1600i model. MoT certificates are present from 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2013, 2014 and 2015, which confirm the current mileage of 147,409. The car presents well, but will obviously require some recommissioning to return to the road. There are some age-related marks to the body, and minor wear apparent on the cloth interior inside, including some bagginess in spots, as is very common on Fords of this era and mileage.
