Finished to a very high standard on painted wooden base plate, with copper water reservoir and hinged chimney.

A 3inch Scale Live Steam Model of a Charles Burrell of Thetford Traction Engine, with a full set of Stuart plans, large quantity of original paperwork, boiler certificate dated 21/6/07 to a test pressure of 240 PSI. Overall length 110cms. Plus,a transportation trolley. The paperwork suggests the model was started in the 1980's, with what appears to be only minor work left to complete including valve for waterlifter, ashtray, whistle costing, name plaque, all of which are included.
Paperwork & Ephemera of Royal Navy Interest, served HMS Merlin China Station, grouping relates to the service of Chief Engine Room Artificer Ernest Robert Johnson Royal Navy. The grouping consists of his original certificate of service, marriage certificate, death certificate, identity disc and a number of photographs including a studio photograph of him in uniform taken in Hong Kong, probably taken during his time with the China Station. He served on various ships from 1900 until 1922. He was awarded a 1914-15 star trio and Long Service Good Conduct medal.
