1978 Alfa Romeo Alfetta GTV 2.0Make: Alfa Romeo Model: Alfetta GTVYear: 1978Mileage: 54500VIN: 3930Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: VWC397STransmission: manualThis lovely example of an Alfa Alfetta 2000cc was bought from the August 2019 ACA classic sale as a restoration project. The vendor, a keen Alfa Romeo enthusiast, has undertaken much work including media blasting, bare metal repair and respray, complete engine and gearbox rebuild. The work was carried out by local Alfa Romeo specialists with many new parts and no expense spared. Waxoyled to the hilt and retaining it’s original tidy interior, she has covered 1,500 miles of trouble free motoring since and now can pass to a new owner to enjoy the Alfa experience. Before the purchase in 2019, the car had been in dry storage since 1992. She is a rare, early chrome bumper example of the model that is fast becoming the next Alfa to appreciate in value. The mileage is recorded at 54,500. It comes with a current V5c and is classed as a Historic Vehicle therefore exempt from tax and MoT. 1966 Triumph Herald ConvertibleMake: Triumph Model: Herald Year: 1966Mileage: 44700VIN: GA221915CVConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: JFL246DTransmission: manualAlthough this 1966 Wedgewood Blue Triumph Herald 1200 convertible was manufactured in December 1966 - with a Heritage Certificate to prove it - it wasn't registered until (or at least was re-registered in) April 1971. The car was stripped down and restored, with the engine rebuilt and the interior refurbished, over the course of 20 months around 2006 to 2008. The odometer shows 44,700 miles and the last MoT expired in July 2018 although, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires annual testing. The V5C records six previous registered keepers. Included in the history file are the V5C, British Motor Industry Heritage Trust certificate, owner's handbook, lubrication chart and various MoT certificates dating back to 1980, when the mileage was shown as 34,535 miles. There's a collection of invoices and a photo album showing the restoration process, along with some show memorabilia and period brochures and adverts. In addition, the car also comes with a selection of spares and show plaques in the boot. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 8TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1958 Morris Minor 1000 ConvertibleMake: Morris Model: Minor 1000Year: 1958Mileage: 97170VIN: FBJ596276Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: MVS282Transmission: manualThis 1958 Morris Minor convertible has been upgraded to make it far more useable, albeit without spoiling its historic appearance. It features a 1098cc A-Series engine, front disc brakes, alternator, CD player, halogen headlamps, and front and rear seatbelts. The car has recently been serviced with a new battery, fuel pump, plugs, oils etc. The vehicle comes with a jack, starting handle, wheelbrace, tonneau hood cover and some spares. It was registered in March 1958 and is showing 97,170 miles on its odometer. The Minor's last MoT expired in February 2017, after being undertaken at 93,130 miles the year before. However, as an historic vehicle, it no longer requires an MoT. The Morris' colour was changed from grey to white in October 1999. The history folder includes the present and past V5Cs, driver's handbook, photos of the car dated 2019, CD/radio instruction manual, and assorted invoices back to the 1990s. The MoT certificates stretch back to 1974, albeit without being an unbroken chain. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 4TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1947 Riley RMA Make: Riley Model: RMAYear: 1947Mileage: 42000VIN: 37513118Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 955YUATransmission: manualThis RMA, the 1945-52 1.5-litre variant of Riley's handsome RM range, was registered in September 1947 and is showing two previous registered keepers on its V5C, although this figure is likely to be higher due to details not being carried over from previous log books. 42,617 miles are shown on the V5C. The vendor tells us that the engine was 'rebuilt a few years ago' and that the car has also had a new roof, headlining, chrome and tyres, but the body panels are original. The history folder includes the V5C, owner's handbook, workshop manual, and some documentation relating to an Accuspark electronic ignition. 1984 TVR TasminMake: TVR Model: Tasmin Year: 1984Mileage: 1028VIN: DH5656F1Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: A678MFDTransmission: manualThis stylish and distinctive TVR Tasmin started life as a 2792cc car, but now has a 2.9-litre engine (believed to be from a Cosworth unit from a Ford Scorpio) installed. It was registered in March 1984 and has an MoT until June 2023. The odometer shows 1028 miles. Reference to the history file (well-organised in a bound black leather folder) shows the seats were recovered in 2008 and a black mohair hood and Targa section was installed in 2010. There are a great many other general bills stretching back across the car's life, along with old tax discs and a selection of MoT certificates back to March 1987, when the mileage was recorded as 48,246 miles. It looks as if the TVR crossed the 100,000-mile barrier around 1991/1992, although this was presumably quite a while before its new engine was installed. 1962 Triumph TR4 Make: Triumph Model: TR4Year: 1962Mileage: 51860VIN: CT5330Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 878EYTTransmission: manual2,138cc. This TR4 was purchased by the vendor in 2013 from a friend who had owned it since 1969. It is described as a very good driving car. The car was fully restored in the early 1970's which included an engine rebuild. An SAH fast road camshaft and four branch manifold were fitted at the time. The seats were replaced with early TR6 seats in 2014. In 2019 it was subject to a gearbox overhaul including the overdrive, rear axle overhaul and slightly higher diff fitted. Other works included brake servo fitted and fluid changed to silicone, stainless sports exhaust and rewired using modern relays and new negative earth. Four new tyres were fitted in 2018 and around 3,000 miles have been covered since. In 2020 it was subject to a bare metal repaint and the wire wheels powder coated. During the last eighteen months it has benefited from a carbs and distributor rebuild plus a radiator re-cord and electric fan fitted. The history file contains receipts dating from 1969 to the present, Heritage certificate, many MoTs, 1969 purchase receipt, SAH catalogue and original handbook. The mileage is recorded at 51,860.
