A 9ct gold Dunhill ‘Broadboy MK2’ lighter, with full cap and diamond engine turned decoration, in original box, PAT No.440072, 1956, 89.3g gross. A distinguished engineer described the Broadboy as ‘a triumph of design and workmanship’. The Broadboy MK2 featured a full cap in place of a half cap and was provided with the standard striking wheel, roller or long roller. The lighter of choice for James Bond in Dr No and Goldfinger.
