A Well Engineered Live Steam 3½" Gauge Model of Great Northern Railway Class 1 4-4-2 Locomotive and Six Wheel Tender R/No 251. cab fittings include pressure gauge, water sight glass, regulator, screw reverse, safety valves, plus additional usual control equipment, the six wheel tender with spring suspension and hand operated water feed pump. Model finished in matt green with white/black lining, fitted steps, hand rails, vacuum hose etc. There are no build plans or boiler certificate. Engine No 251 was introduced in 1902, designer Henry Ivatt, withdrawn 1947, she remains in preservation. Overall length 44"/112cm, height 9"/23cm, width 6¼"/16cm.
