Matchbox Regular Wheels original but cut down printers sheet of unstamped Regular Wheel Boxes - please see previous Lot 4516 in our 30/07/2020 sale for an image of a complete un-cut sheet which these have come from - this part sheet covers Type D4 Boxes for 3 x 9c Merryweather Fire Engine & 21c Commer Milk Float; 2 x Type E1 Boxes for 29c American La France Fire Pumper; Type E2 Box without "New Model" for 31c Lincoln Continental illustrating blue model and Type E3 Box without "New Model" for 27d Mercedes 230SL. The original full size sheets would have been stacked and then stamped out to produce the flat pack boxes which were then sent to Lesney Products for use on the assembly lines. Printed by Bowaters and dates from approximately 1966 - Good Plus with some light creasing & staining.
