A metre steam launch with 5/8 inch by 5/8 inch engine originally commenced in 1907 and finished in 1923. The boat is original with hand built boiler (1/32 thick). The boat has been cleaned and the hull repainted to a high standard but is all original we are told. It has a mahogany clad boiler and single fixed cylinder with link motion reversing gear, water reservoir with hand pump, gearing to twin screws (retro fitted), and has an oak cradle. It is featured in 'The Model Engineer and Electrician' May 1923, with photographs, and was originally intended for charcoal firing, boiler has been tested to 45 psi by vendor. Superb looking model.
