A well engineered model of a non compound twin simple cylinder undertype steam engine, possibly by Bassett Lowke and later adapted, coal fired example comprising of superheated copper boiler fitted with sight glass, Stuart steam gauge, regulator, Belpair Style Firebox with ash grate beneath, safety and easy access to smoke box, fitted with connection for use on compressed air, twin cylinders situated beneath the boiler with drain cocks and lubricators, bar type crosshead guides with oiler cups, eccentrics for valve operation and water pump, and a counter balanced spoked fly wheel, raised on wooden plinth, free running example, Bore Approx 1.5", Stroke 2", appears to be demonstrating the motion rather than to drive anything meaningfull
