A collection of vintage toys and games including boxed David Brown tractor, Meccano, jigsaws, board games etc, also a five piece Robertson's golly band etc. CONDITION REPORT: Tractor - see photos. Generally good condition. Right track rod is missing. Cover far left of engine detached but present. Cannot confirm whether jigsaws are complete.
A George hallmarked silver circular ashtray with engine turned decoration to rim and monogram in centre, Walker & Hall, Sheffield 1926, diameter 13.5cm, a cased pair of Victorian hallmarked silver knife rests, Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1893, and an Edward VII hallmarked silver vesta with scrolling foliate design and vacant shield shaped cartouche, Robert Chandler, Birmingham 1903, combined approx 5.06ozt.
A William IV hallmarked silver rectangular vinaigrette, the hinged lid with cast floral rim and engine turned decoration around initialled cartouche "AJ", enclosing a pierced and engraved silver gilt foliate scroll grille (marked), Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1833, 2 x 3.3cm and another example (af) (2). CONDITION REPORT: The first is in good condition with a nit of wear to the hinges and sits 1mm proud of the base. The second more significantly damaged, a few holes in the embossed decoration, the grill is misshapen, the hinge is loose and needs some attention.
A large George IV hallmarked silver rectangular vinaigrette, the rims cast with floral scrolls, with engine turned decoration throughout around a vacant rectangular cartouche, with gilt wash interior and pierced and engraved foliate scroll grille (unmarked), John Shaw, Birmingham 1820, 2.8 x 4cm. CONDITION REPORT: Rubbing throughout but generally in good condition.
