This bike has had a full restoration to include Bespoke Agostini full fairing, resprayed by re-Born to be wild, powder coated frame and swinging arm. Engine soda blasted, sprayed and lacquered with high temperature paint. Standard Brembo dual braking system. All custom built with new parts, new built wheels, powdercoated frame, one off petrol tank ,oil tank, and seat made by the Tank Shop, Harrison billet front caliper. New seals, pads.etc. Custom made stainless 2-1 exhaust system, had clip/ons butconverted to straight bars. One off special cafe racer that has been part of a private collection. Norton model CS1 motorcycle. 1928. 499cc.Frame No. 30372Engine No. 37875Runs and rides. This 1928 production model CS1 was purchased as part of a deceased estate in 2020 and had been in the same ownership for 56 years. Having obtained a number of missing parts including the original exhaust and correct three speed Sturmey Archer gearbox the bike has had a lot of money spent on it including the engine which has been stripped, checked, de-coked and rebuilt by Ewan Cameron ensuring it now runs smoothly. New Avon tyres have been fitted and the gearbox rebuilt with new bearings. According to Norton’s factory records this CS1 was despatched on 17th May 1928 to Alexander & Co Ltd the Norton Dealer in Edinburgh. It was sold then on 1st June 1928 to Mr A Fraser. At some stage in the last 95 years and not unusually for these racing machines the engine has been period correctly replaced (again according to the Norton factory records engine no. 37875CS1 despatched on 11th February 1928). Historically important, this CS1 appears in the VMCC – The Register of Machines (The Blue Book) by W E Hume (3rd Edition) on page 217 with its current specification. In original metallic red and silver, recently professionally repainted. Has many original components. Four boxed diecast aircraft models to include 3x Corgi limited editions, 1/32 scale AA35509 Hawker Hurricane Mk1 Geoffrey Page "Battle Of Britain Memorial" (114/1000, excellent overall condition but aerial mast re-pinned and bonded in place, left engine panel stuck and pin to top cowl piece broken, see photos) and 2x 1/72 Harrier models, AA32401 Harrier GR3 Falklands (missing right wing outer pylon, glue residue in area) and AA32402 Sea Harrier (complete and in good overall condition, some paint imperfections). Also an Exclusive Models 1/72 scale DH Dragon Rapide (missing outer tensioning wires, see photos, dusty but otherwise excellent condition). Boxes at least good. All A/F
