A George IV engine turned snuff box, with an applied hare-coursing scene on the cover and an applied foliate shell thumbpiece, the interior inscribed "Presented to Mr Robert Kidd, by John Faith Esq, London Oct, 1875 - A Man's a Man for a'that", maker's mark 'IWG', London 1828 3.25in (8.1cm) wide, 5oz.
A George IV rectangular snuff box, engine-turned cover and base, reeded sides, foliate thumbpiece, maker IB, an early Victorian rectangular snuff box, with raised foliate borders and inscribed "From a grateful and attached friend to Mrs Harrington", by Edward Smith, both Birmingham 1825 and 1838 respectively, 3.5in (9cm) max lengh, 6oz.
