A fine 1:8 scale scratch-built model of the 1958 Aston Martin DBR2 by Javan Smith,detailed and rare 'kerbside' model of the chassis number DBR2/1, resin body, with a fully detailed cockpit and mounted on a modern Perspex plinth, measuring 60 x 28 x 20cm overall, with signed and dated certificate of authenticity by the maker. Footnotes:The Aston Martin DBR2 was a sibling of the DBR1 designed to race in a larger engine group using up to 4.0 Litre engines. Three spare chassis were stored in the Aston Martin Racing Department in Feltham until John Wyer asked if he could have two race cars built from two of the three chassis.
