Footnotes:The Aston Martin DBR2 was a sibling of the DBR1 designed to race in a larger engine group using up to 4.0 Litre engines. Three spare chassis were stored in the Aston Martin Racing Department in Feltham until John Wyer asked if he could have two race cars built from two of the three chassis.
