The classically draped square form "table a la truncheon" with a lyre, a zither and a wreath, housing the clock movement, the white enameled dial with black enameled Roman numerals centered by engine turned medallion, flanked by a classically dressed female figure of Calliope, holding a tambourine, the other side by a flowering trophy arrangement with laurel branches and rose swag suspended by an arrow, the plinth base with applied musical trophy adorsed by wreaths, the movement with an outside counter wheel striking on a bell, raised on four trophy feet, movement stamped 941/4.
