It is a single cylinder, two speed general purpose agricultural engine. The engine has a copper silver soldered boiler with fittings including protection cased water sight-glass, steam pressure gauge, safety valve, blower, clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include single cylinder approximately 2in bore x 3in stroke, lever operated drain cocks and associated pipework, ratchet mechanical lubricator, trunk type crosshead guide, Stephenson's link reverse with graduated lever control, eccentric driven feed pump and bypass, two road speeds and spoked flywheel, chassis details include spoked straked wheels, worm and roller chain steering, spud pan, damper, cable drum, fairleads and hand brake to second shaft. The model is finished in red and black lined paintwork with polished brass boiler bands and hub caps. Length 127cm. Width 55cm. Height to top off chimney 87cm. Comes together with drawings for boiler but no boiler history was available.

A 7 inch diameter spoked flywheel with setting holes and lever. The single cylinder with extension to drive vertical water pump. Water storage tank and vertical filter plant. The engine has a compressed air inlet point and can be operated by a handle to display the operating mechanism. The model finished in green paintwork and mounted on a simulated concrete rendered stepped base. Plinth 80cm x 30cm.

The model finished in blue paintwork with polished metalwork. Height 25cm. Base 10cm x 10cm. These engines were made by Williamson Brothers of Kendal in the mid 1880 s for driving farm machinery. The original engines with a cylinder having 6 bore by 14 stroke and running at 130 r.p.m. at 30 psi.

A matched pair of Internal combustion Seal marine engine, built to the design of Edgar T Westbury being of a four cylinders and side valve petrol engine design. The builder has converted these engines to glow plug operation which uses model aircraft fuel. These engines are sold together with some of the original petrol engine parts and engineers sketches so could be converted back to their original design. Castings and drawings for these models are still available from Hemingway Engine Bay. Plinth 33cm x 30cm.

The model finished in red and green paintwork with polished brightwork and set on plinth with decorative brickwork floor and comes within a glazed display case. Model length 30cm. An mid-19th Century model of a beam engine and horizontal live steam boiler, constructed mainly in brass with steel beam, crankshaft and rods, the cylinder ½ inch bore by 1 inch stroke, double acting and reversed by a handle beside the cylinder, steam supplied by a Cornish type boiler mounted beside the engine, the centre-flue boiler with silver soldered brass ends, the whole steam plant mounted on wood base with glazed oak show case which is believed to have been made in 1931 when the model was restored. The model finished in green paintwork with brightwork, mounted on hardwood plinth measuring 15cm x 15cm, overall 39cm high. Note: The first table engine is credited to Henry Maudslay in 1805, the type was built by many manufacturers during the nineteenth century. This example is a later one from the 1880s. Details came from a book published in the 1880s, the author was a director of George Waller and Co.
