A fine George V .925 hallmarked Silver Gilt and Enamelled POWDER COMPACT with overall engine turned decoration and bright cut edging to the lid enclosing an enamelled country scene with figures, horses and a dog by an Inn. The interior with mirrored inner lid and side hinged compartment to the base next to a small oval lipstick holder 6.5cm by 4cm - Birmingham 1915 with marks for H C Freeman Ltd.

A Hallmarked Silver Gilt and Enamel Powder Compact, Henry Charles Freeman, Import marks for London 1932, of rectangular form, allover engine turned, the hinged lid highlighted in pale green enamel, the interior with hinged powder compartment, mirror (cracked) and removable lipstick holder (stamped "935"), 7.5cms wide.
A silver hip flask of plain form (marks rubbed), together with a silver dressing table box of circular form, the hinged lid with engine turned enamelled decoration raised on three hoof feet (Birmingham, 1926) CONDITION REPORTS The hip flask marks are rubbed, there is surface scratching, the lid doesn't quite fit. The feet of the dressing table box have been pushed in slightly and not quite circular to the base. There are other small knocks and dents all over, especially to the base. Some light surface scratching to the enamel and some remains of cleaning fluid etc Internally gilding is rubbed and scratched. The lining is worn. Both have general wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images
A Victorian silver mounted cut glass hip flask, by Wright & Davies, London 1877, having engine turned decoration and retailed by 'Halstaff & Hannaford', 228 Regents Street, London, 14.5cm. Condition Report: good. Glass undamaged. Cup has minor denting under base, gilt inner slightly worn, initialed.. Screw top dented and initialed. Marks clear.
A Victorian gold target stickpin set with an old cushion-shaped diamond and ropetwist border, in fitted case. A diamond solitaire stickpin. A pair of moss agate mounted gold cufflinks. An opal doublet stickpin. A pair of 9ct gold engine turn decorated cufflinks applied with the cipher KMW. And a gold curb-link bracelet.
An 18ct gold open-faced stem-wind quarter repeater pocket watch by Dent, the signed white enamel dial with black Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial. Engine-turned decoration and crest to the case back. Slide quarter repeating, with gold slide to milled band. 3/4 plate movement with Nicole patent winding work and signed E.J. Dent, Watchmaker to the Queen and Patent, London No. 10905. London marks for 1846 and maker's initials AN for Adolphe Nicole. 5.0cm wide. Nicole Nielsen manufactured for many of the major watchmaking firms of the late 19th century, including Dent. Adolphe Nicole took out the patent for keyless winding in 1844, and this watch is a very early example. Repeating pocket watches by Nicole Nielsen are uncommon.
