Originally introduced at the 1973 Paris Salon under the name Dino 308 GT4, the name "Dino" was retained until the end of 1976 when it was changed to Ferrari due to popular demand. During the construction period of the model, there was only one major European market model visual change, and this was in the shape of the radiator grille, and location of driving lamps. These are generally unofficially referred to as Series 1, and Series 2 models, with Series 1 cars having a narrower deeper rectangular grille, with the driving lights outboard of it, whilst Series 2 cars had a full width grille with the driving lights behind it at the extremities. This was the first Ferrari to be fitted with a 8 cylinder engine as a standard. The robust, high-revving engine was used in various other Ferrari’s for many years afterwards. This original Swiss delivered Ferrari 308 GT4 was sold new in 1978, a few years later the car moved to a garage-owner and Ferrari-enthusiast in Central Switzerland where it was lovingly cared for and regularly driven by its owner until the summer of 2024 with only 75,526 kilometers covered in total. The vehicle comes with a complete set of maintenance booklets and invoices, providing a well-documented history. Technical Condition: This Ferrari is equipped with its original 255 HP V8 engine, which features four twin Weber carburettors, allowing the car to accelerate to 100 km/h in just over 6 seconds. The engine is in good condition, running smoothly and sounding excellent, with matching numbers that confirm its originality. The transmission shifts smoothly, contributing to a seamless and enjoyable drive. The car has no signs of accidents or rust, and the undercarriage is in good condition. The original exhaust is intact and well-preserved, enhancing the car's authenticity and performance. The car includes a spare wheel but does not come with the original toolkit or jack. Visual Condition: The exterior paint, although an older repaint, is in nice condition and retains the car's original color. The body is rust-free with no evidence of accidents, welding, or repairs, showcasing the vehicle's excellent preservation. The interior is original, with a beautiful patina that reflects its age and care. The original carpet is also in good condition, maintaining the vintage appeal of the car's interior. The original windows are intact, adding to the overall authenticity of the vehicle. The only modification to the vehicle is the replacement of the original wheels with typical 1980s Gotti wheels, which enhance its sporty look. This 1978 Ferrari 308 GT4 Series 2 is a highly desirable classic with only 1,446 Series 2 models ever produced. This is a very sporty car that unlike other Ferrari models offers more space for the passenger seats making it a very comfortable drive as well. Location: Switzerland . In late 1960’s, two car experts, Virgil M. Exner and James D. O’Donnell started Stutz Motor Car. A mix of US parts and Italian handwork. Stutz has been producing luxury automobiles since 1968 for the wealthy and the famous customers such as Elvis Presley, Muhammed Ali, Frank Sinatra and many others. About 120 Bearcat convertibles were planned to be built at the Stutz Motor Car Turin Italy but unfortunately only 13 were ever built in total. The first two were sold to the Sultan of Brunei and his brother. This 1988 Stutz Bearcat II was imported by a German gentleman directly from the last "official" Stutz dealer "Sunshine State Convertible Heaven" located at Pompano Beach Florida in 1992. The car only had 1303 miles, and it appears that the car was never titled in the US and sold as a new car to Germany. The German buyer kept the car for many years and mostly used it just as a display piece in his collection. About 12 years ago it was purchased by the current owner who also mostly used the car just for display. The car comes with the invoice from the Stutz dealer, import and shipping documents from 1992, but there are no licensing or registration documents as it was actually never officially registered in Europe. The Bearcat II is powered by a 5.7 liter 220hp V8 engine from General Motors for easy servicing paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. It's one of the first production cars that had its body made from "Diamond Fiber", known as carbon fiber nowadays. The car is finished in pearl white with a red leather interior. The instruments, switches and interior screws are plated with 24 karat gold. The car comes with a set of leather luggage matching the Italian leather upholstery. The carpet is made from New Zealand sheep wool. Technical condition: The Bearcat II has been maintained very well, the overall condition of the car and the thread on the still original tires dated with 1987 codes are the proof of the just only 2537 miles the car has driven in its life. It drives very well, the engine runs great, the gearbox changes gears smoothly, brakes are working fine and everything else functions as expected, the radio has not been tested. The engine bay looks dry, is a bit dusty but overall very nice. The car is free from corrosion and there are no visible oil leaks. No signs of accidents. Visual condition: The paint looks very nice and shiny, the chrome looks in very good shape, the interior looks completely original with minimal wear and the wonderful carpets are also in a very good condition. The trunk is in perfect condition and looks like new. A wonderful, exceedingly rare piece of history with ultra-low mileage for a 36 year old car. Many celebrities owned a Stutz - Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Mohammed Ali and others. Location: The Netherlands. Video link: youtu.be/UdKjNdXxP60

The best one-volume aerial history of World War II, Richard Overy's classic work remains profound and highly original. Far from just an account of the various air battles, Professor Overy treats the air war as a complex and fascinating historical web, woven out of grand strategy, economic mobilization, the recruitment of science, and the nature of leadership and training. Analysing the achievements and failures of the aerial component of the war, he places it in perspective by explaining the role aviation played in the overall conflict. He points out that while the Axis powers tended to limit their use of air power to one major role, such as support of ground forces, the Allies exploited all aspects of aerial doctrine: air defence, strategic bombardment, air-naval cooperation, and ground support. He also demonstrates how aircraft ensured that the Second World War became a people's war and how success in the air war was, in a very real sense, a test of a nation's modernity. The air war was won and lost not only in the skies but also in the factories and the research institutes. Finally, the author dispels many popular myths and in particular reveals that although air power in the form of strategic bombing by itself did not deter-mine the war's final outcome, its use dramatically illustrated the complexities of managing modern war. Richard Overy's The Air War thus deepens our under-standing not only of World War II but of military history in general. Good condition. All autographs come with a Certificate of Authenticity. Aviation Pioneer Sir Tom Sopwith signed 54 sqn Sopwith Pup flown RAF cover. Sopwith became interested in flying after seeing John Moisant flying the first cross-Channel passenger flight. His first flight was with Gustave Blondeau in a Farman at Brooklands. He soon taught himself to fly on a Howard Wright Avis monoplane and took to the air on his own for the first time on 22 October 1910. He crashed after travelling about 300 yards (275 m), but soon improved, and on 22 November was awarded Royal Aero Club Aviation Certificate No. 31, flying a Howard Wright 1910 Biplane. On 18 December 1910, Sopwith won the £4000 Baron de Forest Prize for the longest flight from England to the Continent in a British-built aeroplane, flying 169 miles (272 km) in 3 hours 40 minutes. He used the winnings to set up the Sopwith School of Flying at Brooklands. In June 1912, Sopwith, along with Fred Sigrist and others, set up the Sopwith Aviation Company, initially at Brooklands. On 24 October 1912 using a Wright Model B completely rebuilt by Sopwith and fitted with an ABC 40 hp engine, Harry Hawker took the British Michelin Endurance prize with a flight of 8h 23m. Sopwith Aviation got its first military aircraft order in November 1912, and in December moved to larger premises in Canbury Park Road, Kingston upon Thames. The site of the factory is now a private gated housing estate. A small section of the original building still exists at the junction of Elm Crescent and Canbury Park Road; white painted bay windows can be seen extending from the building to allow as much light as possible to enter the large room in which Sopwith made blueprints for his aircraft designs. The company produced more than 18,000 World War I aircraft for the allied forces, including 5747 of the Sopwith Camel single-seat fighter. Sopwith was awarded the CBE in 1918. Good condition. Qualifying as a fighter pilot he served with 802 Naval Sqn during the Korean War and Suez Campaign. Whilst flying a Sea Fury from HMS Ocean in Korea in 1952 alongside famous pilot Peter 'Hoagy' Carmichael, Brian was involved in a dogfight with MiG-15s which resulted in him defeating one over Pyongyang. New research has now credited this as the first recorded Royal Navy victory of a piston-engine aircraft over a jet fighter in the Korean War.
