The Williams2 remained largely unchanged from its predecessor, all finished in the same Sports blue paintwork with contrasting satin gold alloy wheels and matching Williams badging. Fitted with a 2 litre naturally aspirated 4 cylinder engine with fuel injection. Based on Renault's 16valve 1.8 litre engine with larger valves, a more aggressive cam shaft, stroked crank and engine oil cooler.The Williams is easily recognisable from its wider box arches front and rear to accomadate a wider track than the standard clio as well as sports interior.Differences between the williams 1 and 2 are small but include adding electric windows and mirrors.This example was firstregistered January 1995 and shows 126,000 miles, presented in very original condition with recently refinished alloy wheels in the correct Satin Gold. The engine starts and runs well and this rare child's 'D-Type' is presented in very good condition throughout. A George VI silver cased leverless fountain pen and propelling pencil set: William Manton, Birmingham 1937, with engine turned decoration, the fountain pen with 14ct gold nib, in the original case (some damage to black plastic at front of pencil).The fountain pen is in good condition overall. The pencil has toothmark style damage to the black plastic section at the tip of the pencil, and a small chip to the plastic enc cap. No other faults. Neither are inscribed. Case good with some edge wear.
