1949 Scott Flying Squirrel, water cooled 600cc engine, two cylinder, two stroke with three speed gearbox. This example has been owned by the same family until 2016 having its original maroon and black paint. Registration: JOM 765, chassis number: 5102 engine number: DPY5196. Included with lot Scott Owners Club journals "Yowl" from the 1980's, two copies of 'Instruction in the care and management of a Scott', and 'The Yowling Two-Stroke' by Jeff Clew (1 volume).
Turner cock fighting jug circa 1790, moulded with figures gambling and arguing over two fighting birds after Hogarth, below a salt glazed engine turned border and neck, impressed mark to base, fitted with copper hinged cover bearing traces of silver plating, 30cm high Condition report: No serious damage or restoration, there is a minor chip to the band between the salt glaze and the moulding as well as a nick to the flat of the foot. The over has signs of an old solder repair to the hinge.
1914 Rover 500cc, largely restored but requiring finishing work to re-commision. This early machine has been consigned locally after being kept in store for a number of years. Although Rover might today be better known as car makers, the manufacturers also made over 10,000 motorbikes during the great war supplying both the British and Russian armies, ceasing production in 1925. V5 included with buff log book dating back to 1928, a note being made showing the original documents were destroyed before this date. According to DVLA the vehicle is still under its original number, also included with AM3830 is a period headlight and an exhaust silencer casting which needs finishing. Registration number: AM3830, chassis frame number: 40620, engine number: 4847.
