The 1992 Saab 900 S Convertible is a distinctive and beloved model in the world of classic cars. Saab, a Swedish carmaker known for its quirky design and innovation, produced the 900 series from 1978 to 1998, with the convertible version becoming particularly iconic. The 1992 Saab 900 S Convertible represents a refined point in the model’s evolution, offering a mix of modern luxury with the unique character that Saab was known for. This model was powered by a 2.0 litre, 16-valve, four-cylinder engine, producing around 130 horsepower. Though not a high-performance car by today’s standards, it offered a smooth and enjoyable driving experience, especially with its turbocharged variant being available as well. The 1992 900 S Convertible’s design was timeless. The car featured the classic Saab lines, with its characteristic wedge shape and front-end design. The roof, when retracted, provided an open-air experience, yet the car's high-quality materials and craftsmanship meant that it was still comfortable when the roof was up. The cabin boasted an ergonomically designed interior with supportive seating and a driver-focused dashboard, with controls that were simple to operate. In terms of safety, Saab was a pioneer, and the 900 S carried this tradition. It featured reinforced side-impact protection, crumple zones, and a well-engineered rollbar that would deploy in the event of a rollover. Saab’s reputation for building durable and safe cars extended to this convertible model, which stood the test of time as a reliable option for those seeking both fun and security.Originally registered on 29th May 1992, this Saab comes with a good history folder. These cars were, if anything, over-engineered as Saab had plenty of experience within the aircraft sector, with Saab Automotive benefitting from the cross pollination of skill sets. This example is fitted with the 16-valve turbo engine and offers brisk performance together with good reliability. There are some age -related marks around the body and trim, however nothing to give cause for concern. Finished in metallic blue with a grey leather trim and a blue hood, this 900 S Turbo is supplied with a V5 registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 12th January 2026. Just two owners from new and under 7,000 milesExtremely rare Atlas Grey MetallicRare configuration of bucket seats with no roll cage, ideal for touringMain dealer service history & freshly serviced by Porsche BrooklandsFollowing the launch of the 911/996, Porsche launched the GT3, the first 996 variant intended for the racetrack. Its 3.6 litre engine was derived from the GT1 and delivered 360bhp at 7,200rpm, offering 60 additional horsepower over the base 3.4 litre motor in the standard Carrera. It was also fitted with adjustable suspension and a unique body kit, including a dual-plane rear wing. The interior featured sports seats, whilst some of the interior trim was removed to keep weight down. Porsche also built a track focussed version of the GT3, dubbed the GT3 Club Sport. Only a handful of differences can be noted in comparison to the GT3, including the fitment of a full roll cage and a Nomex covered driver’s seat with side airbags omitted. Whilst not generally intended for daily driving, this edition was track-ready in every aspect and able to compete in a number of racing series worldwide. This example is one of the very last 996 GT3’s built and is truly one for the collector, having covered less than 7,000 miles from new with two private keepers. Our vendor purchased the car directly from the original owner in December 2022, to add to his collection of similar calibre modern classics. The car was specified in Atlas Grey Metallic (code LM7X) which is an exceedingly rare colour on the 996, as it was only introduced in 2004, the final year of production for the 996. Interestingly, the interior was specified with leather Recaro bucket seats and without the optional roll cage. This gives a vast area for luggage behind the front seats, which would usually be obstructed by a roll cage, making this the ideal configuration for spirited touring. A further addition to the interior is option code 981, leather wrapped dashboard. The service history for this GT3 is extraordinary, having been serviced exclusively by Porsche Tonbridge 12 times with the original owner, then most recently in February 2025 at Porsche Brooklands. Supplied to auction with all manuals and service booklets, invoices to back up every stamp in the book, a V5 registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until January 2026, this GT3 ticks all of the boxes. The vehicle first entered production in 1986 and quickly became known for its high performance and excellent driving dynamics. The E46 generation of M3s was produced from 2000 to 2006 and was the third generation of the M3. The E46 generation was powered by the legendary S54 3.2 litre inline six-cylinder engine, which produced 343bhp and could boast a redline of 8000rpm. This power was sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission, or the optional SMG semi-automatic. The E46 M3 was also equipped with several performance features, including a limited-slip differential, larger brakes and improved suspension. The E46 M3 was praised for its handling and power, and it is still considered to be one of the best M3s ever made.First registered on 7th March 2003, the beautiful M3 convertible on offer here has led a pampered life having been extremely well cared for. Only 709 miles from newOne lady ownerRecently recommissionedThe Peugeot 106 Key West is a special edition model of the popular Peugeot 106, which was produced between 1991 and 2003. Named after the tropical destination of Key West, this special edition embraced a more vibrant and youthful appeal, especially appealing to city drivers and those looking for a fun, economical ride. One of the standout features of the 106 Key West was its unique styling touches. The car was typically finished in eye-catching colours, yellow, green, or blue, complemented by distinctive ‘Key West’ badging. The interior also reflected the special edition nature, with a more stylish and refined finish than the base models, including distinctive upholstery and trim options. Under the bonnet, the Peugeot 106 Key West offered a range of small, fuel-efficient engines, typically either 1.1 or 1.4 litres, delivering modest power but excellent fuel economy. This made the 106 an ideal choice for urban environments where fuel efficiency and manoeuvrability were major considerations.Supplied by Roundbush Garage Ltd (Aldenham, Hertfordshire) on 1st August 1993, the lady owner stopped driving altogether not long after buying the car. It has been stored unused in a relative’s garage ever since, hence the incredibly low mileage and time-warp condition. It was serviced by the supplying dealer on 12th November 1993 (324 miles) and had an MoT on 23rd August 1996 (647 miles), but soon afterwards it was put into storage and has been concealed for decades. It has just been recommissioned, serviced and MoT’d. At the same time, the cambelt, water pump and fuel pump were also replaced. The car is supplied with all of the paperwork, including the original bill of sale, stamped service book, owner’s handbooks, MoT certificate dated 23rd August 1996, original V5 registration document and both sets of keys, together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 3rd December 2025 (with no advisories). Finished in Miami Blue, this five-door example is fitted with the 1124cc engine. While the 106 was known for its handling and nimbleness on the road, the Key West edition added an element of fun to the package. Though it may not have been a performance powerhouse, the Peugeot 106 remains a charming and practical option for those looking for a compact, stylish, and economical ride. S&M Triumph Le Mans replica bodyLovely exampleFully refurbishedThe 1965 running of the 24 Hours of Le Mans saw a battle of the ages running between Ford and Ferrari, but further down the field there were equally hard-fought dogfights between teams running far less powerful cars. The specially prepared Triumph Spitfires with their aerodynamic bodywork and comprehensively modified engines were set to battle in one of the smallest classes at Le Mans – the GT 1.15 class. Whereas the Ford GT40s were fitted with monstrous seven litre V8s, the Triumphs were powered by 1147cc inline four-cylinder engines with overhead valves. The primary opponent of the Spitfires would be the French team running a series of highly-competitive Alpine A110s. As is often the case with endurance racing, reliability problems began to take their toll as the race went on, all six Alpines fell by the wayside leaving a clean run to the chequered flag for a class win for the Brits. Two of the four Spitfire wouldn’t make it, the two survivors took first and second in class – 13th and 14th overall.First registered on 1st August 1964, this lovely Mk. I Spitfire has been uprated with the accurate S&M Triumph T6 Le Mans replica body. The body, bonnet, floor plan and doors are all fibreglass and painted in the Racing Green of the original four Le Mans entries, making this a faithful recreation of those 1965 Le Mans cars. The car is fitted with a steel rollbar and a twin weber shod 1300cc engine, along with faithful Compomotive Jigsaw 5.5 inch by 13 inch Le Mans replica alloy wheels. Reported to run and drive very well, this lovely replica is built as a tribute to the successful original cars. The car was built with road use in mind sporting comfortable leather reclining seats and more supple suspension. With neither the wheels or bodykit available anymore, these faithful Spitfire conversions are becoming a rare find.Supplied with its V5 registration document, MoT test certificate valid though until March 2026, receipts and relevant literature. Rare colour combinationMoT test certificate valid until July 2025The Virage was launched as the top of the range car for Aston Martin back in the late 1980s and it is easy to see why. The aluminium coachwork, hand-beaten and sculptured into a naturally aggressive stance married to a strong, hand-built 5.3 litre, V8 engine elevated this high-performance GT car to near supercar levels. One noted journalist indeed was quoted at the time “that the acceleration just never seems to run out”. The interior, also, was a delightful place to inhabit with numerous leather hides applied to the luxurious cabin making the journey to 160mph nothing less than an uncorrupted pleasure. This lefthand drive model, presented unusually in Snowdon White, was originally clearly an export example destined for Kyoto, Japan according to its chassis records. Since then, it has made its way back to UK shores whereupon NOVA duties have been paid and it has been re-registered back with the DVLA and correct plates attached alongside an MoT test certificate valid for almost six months. With just one previous owner recorded in accordance with the clean HPI certificate, this car also benefitted from air-conditioning, a high-end Kenwood stereo and an alarm according to the associated Aston Martin build records. In fact, it was Rowan Atkinson who publicly noted that he was surprised that his own car had a warm footwell within 90 seconds. Additional modern upgrades included electric & heated seats, electric mirrors and windows. All four alloy wheels and Bridgestone tyres are in good order although the black leather seating with contrasting white piping would benefit from some leather food in places although the overall condition is sound. The walnut dash and door cappings with associated inlays are in excellent condition and the interior overall is in good order although it should be noted that, at time of writing, the information binnacle is non-functioning and a decent service would be recommended. A generally sound example however with which to begin to generate a new life around. Consigned by Edward Bridger-Stille RARE COLOUR COMBINATIONMOT TEST CERTIFICATE VALID UNTIL JULY 2025
With its 1950 Plus 4, Morgan moved upmarket in size, weight, power and price. The British manufacturer realised it might lose some potential customers but was happy to live with the situation for a while. By mid-decade though, the Plus 4 had become more potent and Morgan felt it should, again, field a lower-power car. This explains the revival of the Morgan 4/4 though it was completely different from the car that carried that title during 1935-1950. In fact, the new 4/4 was closely related to the Plus 4. The main difference was engines, purchased from Ford instead of Triumph. The re-born 4/4 began production in 1956 and ran all the way through until 2018. Like other Morgans, it always had the same chassis design, body construction and styling, a kind of technological time warp that customers keep coming back for. Morgan built old-fashioned cars the old-fashioned way and vehicles of that nature just won't be hurried. This handsome 1600cc 4/4 was first registered on 1st May 1980 and is presented with cream coachwork which has recently been repainted and a contrasting black hood and trim. This example is offered with V5C registration document and an invoice for the recent repaint and five tyres. We are informed the underside has recently been treated to preserve it for future years. £30,000 has been spent on this amazing GTiSuperb conditionLaunched in 1974, the Golf represented a complete break with Volkswagen tradition yet it would prove as big a sales success as its Beetle predecessor. In GTi form, the Golf has become one of the great icons of modern motoring, giving rise to an entirely new class of sporting saloon - the 'hot hatch' - in the process. First seen at the Frankfurt Show in September 1975, the GTi came with a 1.6-litre, fuel-injected, 110bhp engine which, in a car weighing a mere 1,861lbs made for a performance package of a type not seen since the demise of the Mini Cooper 1275S.This superb example of one of the original ‘hot hatches’ is presented in red with black/red cloth interior. Having had in the region of £30,000 spent on it, clearly this is a truly wonderful Golf GTi which is worthy of any collection. The Rover P4 series of cars were manufactured from 1949 through to 1964 during which period several models were produced: the Rover 60, 75, 80, 90, 95, 100, 105 and 110 models. Apart from the 60 and 80, the models all had in-line six-cylinder engines with overhead inlet valves and side exhaust valves. Various transmissions were used including either a manual overdrive box or, until 1959, the option of the manual gearbox with a free wheel unit. The bodies were mounted on a separate chassis with independent suspension, by coil springs at the front and semi elliptical leaf springs at the rear. By 1950 the brakes were fully hydraulic with discs at the front becoming standard from 1959. The final member of the P4 family was the P4 95 and 110 series. Introduced in 1962, the car was luxurious with its silky 2.6 litre straight six engine and stopping power via the power assisted Girling brakes. The coachwork featured an alloy bonnet, doors and boot lid with the interior finished in wood and leather.Supplied new on 12th April 1963 by R.H Collier, a Rover dealer in Birmingham, this wonderful 110 with overdrive is presented in Light Grey over Dark Grey coachwork with a contrasting red trim. The car was restored between 1990/1991 and we are informed this included a full respray and chrome replacement, at that stage the interior was left as original but appears in very good condition. Accompanying the car is a history file with a box of miscellaneous information alongside restoration photos and recent invoices for routine work and servicing. This information informs us that the purchaser of the car in 1990 recorded the mileage 68,412, approx. 30,000 miles less than the current mileage some 35 years later (thus averaging less than 1,000 miles per year). Our vendor states the engine runs very well with good pulling power and the overdrive works well. Rare V8 Petrol modelRare Civilian VersionOriginally based on the military M998 Humvee, the Hummer H1 was offered for the first time in 1992 by AM General as a civilian off-road vehicle. The Humvee was the U.S Armed Forces military vehicle of choice and was used in combat areas such as Operation Desert Storm during the Gulf War. Legend has it that 'The Terminator' himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, made enquiries about buying one, and it was this interest that thrust AM General into considering making a road-legal version of the vehicle. The Hummer H1 was offered in three variants, the convertible soft top, a four-door hardtop, and an Alpha Wagon bodied model. Similar to its military predecessor in look, the Hummer H1 offered creature comforts beyond the dreams of most army personnel. Initially, five different engines and three automatic transmissions were offered. The Hummer H1 had incredible off-road capabilities including the ability to ford 76cm of water, climb a 56cm step and have a standard ground clearance of 41cm. Another notable feature on the vehicle is the Central Tyre Inflation System (CTIS) which allows the drivers to increase or decrease tyre pressure at the touch of a button, depending on the type of terrain being covered.First registered in the USA in April 1997, the imposing and rare Hummer H1 on offer here was exported to Germany in 2008 before finding its way to the UK in May of 2022. Presented in black, with black soft top hood and interior, the H1 Civilian was supplied with creature comforts the Army wouldn’t have gotten the benefit of. Air conditioning, electric windows, central locking and CD stereo were all fitted from new. The interior seats fold down making the interior as versatile as the exterior. The 1970 Triumph Bonneville T120 was not only the high-water mark in the Triumph 650 development, but also the year that most people favour as 'the best Triumph Bonneville ever built' and certainly one of the prettiest. They ran well, were fast and handled well to boot. It carried a 650cc parallel-twin engine between 1959 and 1974 and was based on the company's Triumph Tiger T110. Initially it was produced with a pre-unit construction engine which enabled the bike to comfortably achieve 115mph without further modification, but later in 1963 a unit construction model was introduced which was stiffer and more compact including additional bracing at the steering head and swing arm. This handsome Triumph was repatriated from the U.S. in 2016. A thorough restoration was then carried out by the fastidious and knowledgeable vendor over the next three years. The bike was completely stripped, the frame was bead-blasted and powder coated along with all the ancillary components. The fuel tank, mudguards and side panels were professionally resprayed. The wheels were rebuilt by a specialist, with new rims, spokes and tyres. The engine and gearbox were overhauled, although minimal signs of wear were detected. A new wiring loom was fitted along with new carburettors, exhaust system, seat, battery and rear light. To assist reliability electronic ignition was added at the same time. Supplied with a V5 document along with the invoices confirming the restoration. The net result of all of this work is a Bonneville T120R that presents in fabulous condition. The BMW E46 M3 Convertible, produced between 2001 and 2006, is an iconic open-top performance car. Powered by a 3.2 litre inline-six S54 engine, it delivers 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque, paired with either a six-speed manual or SMG transmission. The E46 M3 is revered for its balanced handling, precise steering, and high-revving engine, making it one of the most engaging M cars ever. The convertible version adds open-air driving excitement without compromising too much on performance. While slightly heavier than the coupé, it still provides thrilling dynamics and remains a sought-after modern classic among enthusiasts. This desirable BMW was registered in September 2005 and looks good in the classic colour combination of silver metallic paintwork with a contrasting black leather interior and black convertible roof. This look is enhanced with Sat Nav, heated seats and 19” wheels. This impressive BMW featured at length on the YouTube video made by High Peak Autos. The video describes in detail the works undertaken to make the car the stunning example that our vendor purchased in 2022. The car has seen little use since it was purchased and has been garaged during this time. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a fresh MoT test certificate, service history and factory hardtop. Popularity for the E46 M3 remains undiminished and this stunning example deserves consideration. Consigned by Dominic Lake.
The Triumph TR3 was built between 1955 and 1957 and was powered by a 1991cc engine which initially produced 95bhp increasing to 100bhp at 5000rpm. The four-speed manual transmission could be supplemented by an overdrive unit on the top three ratios electrically operated and controlled by a switch on the dashboard. In 1956, the front brakes changed from drum to disc becoming the first British series production car to be so fitted. Because of these disc brakes, the TR3 and subsequent TR3A's became known for their superior braking ability making it an autocross favourite. In 1957, the TR3 was replaced by an updated version, the TR3A, which included new wide front grille, exterior door handles, lockable boot handle and came with a full toolkit as standard, although the TR3A's still retained the 1991cc engine. This very special 1957 TR3 Sports car has benefitted from some high-end driver focused upgrades. Originating from the US, this vehicle has had some serious works to the suspension, brakes, steering and is fitted with a very slick five-speed gearbox. The items that usually disappoint in a TR3 have been addressed and be prepared for a car that accelerates, steers and brakes like a car of far more modern times. Visually the car looks gorgeous in Pale Primrose, complemented by the Saddle Tan leather interior, edged Caramel carpets, black vinyl hood and the wooden steering wheel. In May 2019, new front brake discs and pads were fitted along with brake hoses and caliper seal repair kits. It was also fitted with a Delphi remote vacuum brake servo. There are many invoices for servicing, parts and maintenance since arriving in UK which can be found in the history file and a recent oil and filter service has just been carried out. Recently the carbs have been rebuilt with a professional engine set up and specialist tune up at an approximate cost of circa £1,000 added to which a new radiator has also been fitted. The Bentley Mulsanne is named after the Mulsanne Straight of the Le Mans racing circuit, Bentley cars having won six victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past. Bentley brought back the Mulsanne nameplate that was last used in 1992; this model replaces the hugely successful Arnage and was unveiled at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2009. In keeping with the Arnage, the Mulsanne retained the 6750cc, V8 power unit, the engine was lighter and featured cylinder de-activation and variable cam phasing to improve fuel efficiency. It was the first flagship car to be independently designed by Bentley Motors in nearly 80 years; the last being W.O. Bentley's 8 litre model in 1930.This is an absolutely gorgeous Bentley Mulsanne S presented in the stunning colour combination of metallic blue with sumptuous cream leather upholstery. This Mulliner driving specified example boasts under 52,000 miles from new and a full Bentley service history, the last in October of 2024. • Recently serviced • SL55 Vane alloy wheels and exhaust The fifth generation of the legendary SL series of two-door convertible sportscars made by Mercedes-Benz was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof; a first for the SL Class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997. Originally registered on 23rd May 2002, this SL500 cost £69,630 with options. Presented in metallic blue with Black Ash wood trim and black leather interior trim, this example was specified with optional TV tuner, mobile phone (Nokia 6210), Bose sound system, Linguatronic and fire extinguisher with the total price of optional equipment being £2,480. The car was most recently serviced in June 2024, which is detailed in the servicing and maintenance records. Included within the history file is the service book and various invoices along with the MoT test certificate which is valid until August 2025. Described as in wonderful condition throughout, the styling of the car is akin to the SL55 with original and rare SL55 AMG ‘Vane’ alloys and SL55 exhaust providing that incredible sound coupled to the five-litre engine, which is certainly no slouch, a wonderfully sporty yet practical roadster. The SL500 is a classy summer modern classic which is also ideal when the autumn arrives and Vario roof transforms this into a sleek coupé for all seasons. Fully retrimmed in leather in 2022Freshly servicedCompeted in The Cape 1000 in March 2024Upgraded to a 2,000cc engineThe Alfa Romeo GT 1600 Junior was introduced in 1972, to plug the gap between the GT 1300 Junior and the newly introduced GTV 2000. The engine was substantially the same as the Giulia Sprint GTV discontinued four years previously and had the same engine type number. The final drive ratio was again 9/41 as standard on all 105 series coupés with the 1290cc and 1570cc engines. From 1974 onwards, the GT 1300 Junior and GT 1600 Junior were rationalised onto a common platform of models with the GTV 2000 and rebadged as the 1.3 GT Junior and 1.6 GT Junior respectively, sharing most of the interior and exterior features of the larger engine car. Production ended in 1976/77 and totalled 13,120 units for the 1.6 GT Juniors. A flourishing market has emerged with companies producing spare parts and upgrades for the Alfa 105 range, most notably Alfaholics with their GTA replicas. The car on offer is a recent import from South Africa, with all duties paid and now registered with a V5 registration document. The car comes with various import documents, along with a copy of its South African registration document. This example was first registered in South Africa in 1974 (based on the chassis number it was likely built in 1973). The history of the car dates back to 2010 where it is referenced on a post on the AlfaBB forum and at the time it already had a 2000cc engine fitted, which was a common update to the GT Juniors both in period and subsequently. During this period, the car appears to have had some improvements to make it a fast road car, including a lowering kit added to improve handling. The car was purchased by the previous owner in 2021, who from 2022 undertook some work to refresh the car. A full new interior was installed with new leather seats (as opposed to the vinyl that the car would have had originally), new carpets and the steering wheel was recovered in leather. New period correct seatbelts were installed along with a new headlining and at the same time, the carpets in the boot were replaced to match the car. In September 2022, the car was entered in the annual Alfa concours event held at Modderfontein and was placed second in the 105 series Giulia class. Later in that month, the car took part in the Distinguished Gentleman's Drive charity event around Johannesburg and performed without fault. In 2023 preparations began to get the car for the 2024 Cape 1000 regulatory rally, which is a four-day event around the scenic western cape. Work included a new heater box from Classic Alfa, installation of Alfaholic pedals, a full service, including new oil pressure sender, windscreen washer bottle and fixing a gearbox leak, new battery and new spare tyre. The car then took part in The Cape 1000 from 14th March 2024 and the only issue encountered was a battery lead coming loose. The rally was completed with the car travelling 1630 kilometres in the four days (the car can be seen on various YouTube videos of the event) and it was then serviced in May 2024, with new plugs and a petrol sender installed. The car was imported into the UK in 2024 and had a number of replacement items from Classic Alfa and Veloce Sport fitted, as well as the cooling system flushed and new coolant added, whilst waiting to be registered with the DVLA. In preparation for sale, the car has been looked at by a local restoration company and has had new brake and clutch master cylinders, brake union, suspension/steering rubbers and tuning .This car is now ready to be enjoyed by its next custodian and representing excellent value for money. Factory fittted power-assisted steeringSubject to cosmetic and mechanical restorationRecently serviced by Aston EngineeringThe Aston Martin DB6 was launched at the London Motor Show in 1965, following on from the highly successful DB5, immortalised by the 1964 James Bond film 'Goldfinger'. The front of the DB6 was visually similar to the DB5 but closer inspection revealed quite a different car. The wheelbase was lengthened allowing additional passenger space in the rear along with a raised roof line and a Kamm-tail rear spoiler for improved high-speed stability. The profile of the rear quarter lights echoed those of the DB4 GT Zagato, a styling theme that continued through to the DBS and V8 models until production finished in 1990.This gorgeous example is finished in the original and rare colour of Ming Blue, punctuated by bright chrome accents and complemented by dark blue Connolly leather trim with a wooden-rimmed steering wheel and neutral-coloured headliner. Sitting on a set of 15-inch chrome wire wheels with triple-eared spinners, the specification of this example includes the rare power-assisted steering, Motorola radio, powered aerial and a stainless-steel exhaust. The paintwork was resprayed in 2022 and is in generally excellent condition but for some small marks near the passenger’s door handle and a minor imperfection on the front passenger-side wing which is visible only under close inspection. All areas of the exterior trim have been re-chromed where necessary and as such the car presents extremely well indeed.Circa 2022, the cabin was retrimmed in Connolly Vaumol leather by Aston Martin specialist Matthew Hill Coach Trimming who also replaced the headlining and carpets in line with the original specification. There is mild wear on the steering wheel, marks inside the glovebox and a little time-earned patina across some of the dials and controls, otherwise the elegant cabin presents in fantastic order.Included in the history file are two large files of paperwork, the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certificate, V5C registration document, historic tax discs and MoT test certificates. Under the bonnet sits a rebuilt 4.0 litre straight-six, delivering 282bhp and 280lb-ft to the rear wheels through the original and rare five-speed ZF manual transmission. The engine which was rebuilt in 2010 complete with an unleaded cylinder head, was then subsequently compression tested (all even at 140 psi on all six cylinders). A full service was performed in 2016, the carburettors were rebuilt in July 2022 at a cost of £3,466 and in July 2027 our vendor took the car to Aston Engineering in Derby for a factory specification 5,000 mile service which included four new tyres, minor maintenance work and an engine tune which amounted to £6,254. Our vendor states he would jump in this car and drive from his home in Cheshire to Scotland tomorrow, such is his confidence in the car.The car has always been garaged in an insulated and dehumidified garage by our vendor and by the previous owner, from whom he purchased the car for £261,500 with both owners having this stunning example as part of a larger car collection. This is a wonderfully presented example of the DB6 and the subject of several major mechanical works and recent service as well as a respray and retrim completed to a high standard with a focus on originality. It would be a credit to any collection and is sure to delight as a thoroughly sophisticated weekend cruiser or special event car for any marque enthusiast. First introduced at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1995 as a concept car, the TT quickly became a production reality, hitting the market in 1999. Designed by the legendary Peter Schreyer, the TT’s striking, geometric lines and distinctive coupé silhouette made it an instant icon. The car was praised for its bold design, featuring a round, almost Bauhaus-inspired aesthetic, with smooth, sculpted curves that were both futuristic and timeless. Under the bonnet, the 1999 Audi TT was available with multiple engine configurations. The entry-level model featured a 1.8 litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine, delivering around 180 horsepower. This engine was paired with Audi's renowned Quattro all-wheel-drive system, providing excellent traction and handling in a variety of conditions. The five-speed manual transmission was standard, with an optional six-speed manual or automatic for those seeking more convenience. The Audi TT’s interior was equally impressive, combining luxurious materials with a minimalist yet functional layout. Its high-quality finishes, supportive seats, and user-friendly technology set a new standard for sports coupés. Audi's attention to detail, from the circular air vents to the unique dashboard design, ensured that the TT wasn’t just about performance but also about the experience of driving. Despite its compact size, the 1999 TT offered surprisingly comfortable handling, with an emphasis on precise steering and a stable ride. It attracted both performance lovers and those looking for a stylish, everyday car.Originally registered on 4th February 1999, this left hand drive Audi was used up until 2002 and then put in to storage, hence the very low mileage of only 21,400 Km (13,297 miles). • 7.2 litre 385bhp V8• Matching numbers• Owners club exampleThe Jensen Interceptor was launched in 1966 and the all-steel bodyshell broke away from the company's traditional method of construction that used GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic). Designed by Carrozzeria Touring, the early cars were built by Vignale before production eventually was carried out at the Jensen works in West Bromwich. Power was delivered by the Chrysler 6276cc, V8 through a TorqueFlite automatic transmission and final drive being a Salisbury axle with limited slip differential. A manual gearbox was offered as an option. 1968 saw the addition of power steering and, in 1969, the Mk. II was introduced with detail upgrades that included a revised front end and ventilated disc brakes. 1971 saw the introduction of the Mk. III; the engine size was increased to 7212cc and, it was at this time, the most powerful engine Jensen had produced. The imposing presence, power and distinctive shape that included the wrap around glass rear hatch drew the rich and famous to the marque and famously, Princess Anne owned one. Production ceased in 1976 with a total of 6408 Mk. I, Mk. II and Mk. III Interceptors built between 1966 and 1976.Built in 1973 and first registration on 1st May 1974, this wonderful metallic burgundy matching numbers Mk. III Interceptor was purchased by our vendor in 2024 from its long-term owner, a Jensen Club member. The car has always been garaged and used sparingly but sadly due to ill health, our vendor is no longer able to drive the car and it must be sold. The car itself is in very good order with a deep metallic paint finish that has seen little ill effect since its body restoration in the late 90’s. Boasting a thunderous 7.2 litre V8, power steering, automatic gearbox and period correct features including Carter Thermoquad carburettor, original air cleaner and rocker covers. The comprehensive history file provides us with build records and first owner details. A recent ‘light recommissioning’ was carried out in 2024 and the car has been used very little of late, mainly for shows and events. Since its restoration and benefitted in 2009 from a full retrim in soft black leather and lambswool seat inserts. Factory extras included electric windows, full leather seats, air conditioning, chrome door seal trims and chrome kick plates. More recent works include a replacement fuel pump and renewal of the rear pinion seal coupled to a recent vehicle check and MoT test certificate. The engine rumbles beautifully and started first time when viewed, an effortless engine with a smooth and fabulous soundtrack coupled to the Torqueflite three speed automatic gearbox. Luxurious, but with a characteristically sporty feel, the interior of the Interceptor provides a fantastic driving experience and the Jensen Owners’ Club is one of the friendliest around for assistance with maintenance and driving opportunities. • Extensive restoration over a number of years • Complete with original hardtop and storage frame • Comprehensive history file including new MoT test certificate Originally spotted by the vendor during a drive through the German countryside, this 190 SL was in classic ‘barn-find’ condition and had been in this state for a number of years, the result of a deceased spouse. After an equitable arrangement was arrived at, it was then imported into the UK in 1973, as per the original H.M. Customs & Excise document shown in the history folder. Including, of course, a number of other official import documents, including notification of vehicle arrival (NOVA). The official date of manufacture was later confirmed by Mercedes-Benz as the 21st March 1960, a formal document received after an extensive period of restoration with initial UK registration taking place in April 2016. MoT test certificates are also filed for 2015 and 2017 with a brand new one for the year 2025/2026 as well as vehicle tax from 2017 onwards, despite the zero historic vehicle cost. Almost all parts that were damaged or corroded have been sourced by official German and English SL specialists, notably rebuilt Solex carburettor kits, all suspension components amongst many more from SLS in Hamburg and Motorvation, a complete new subframe from AFL in London, Niemöller in Mannheim and bumpers, carbs, brakes and steering as well as numerous other parts and labour from Hilton & Moss in Essex. Much of the later restoration took place by Motorvation, a classic car restoration specialist based in Hertfordshire and established back in the 1980s. Over the past 40 years, Motorvation has been involved in classic car servicing, restoration, classic race/rally preparation and caring from a basic oil change right up to fast-road suspension set-up for a Goodwood Group 5 Lancia Stratos. Much work was undertaken including a rebuilt dynamo, a hood frame that was prepared for the preparation and fitting of all material panels to include the removal and re-fitting of the front windscreen and wooden dashboard sections. Quite apart from the complete engine bench-strip and rebuild in 2012, significant restoration of the coachwork has also taken place with new front floors, exhaust sections and other parts to fit. Needless to say, all bright-work has been re-chromed and refitted with magnificent reflective surfaces all round. Steering was built back up as indeed were the electrics throughout. In fact, from the suspension to the heater matrix and pretty much everything in-between has been stripped down, re-built and re-installed costing many thousands of pounds. If fact, going through the heavy Leaver-Arch file of invoices, the costs are significantly more than the reserve set by the vendor. Indeed, the process as a whole took, reportedly, nigh on 15 years. The rebuild was thorough and included stripping the engine down, polishing the crankshaft, resurfacing the valves and seats, re-boring the block and grinding the thrust faces to suit the shells. The radiator has been re-cored by the right people, Feltham Radiators Ltd. There were numerous issues to overcome but all were addressed methodically and correctly until the engine was fully installed and ready to run. This was all taken care of by Motorvation and Bob Harman Performance Ltd of Hertfordshire. Motorvation rebuilt the Solex carburettors although, at time of writing, they are still problematic and so Silchester Garage in Hampshire, well respected SL specialists are going through the car in preparation for the sale which will include the carburettors, headlights, some trim and various other elements that need tidying up. The interior appears to be in excellent condition with good but original front leather seating and completely re-upholstered fresh carpet, trim and all associated additional detailing. New Vredestein Sprint Classic tyres are fitted to each corner with matching chrome and painted hubcaps as well as an original (but worn) spare in the boot, even the correct jack is present. All instruments and lighting have been re-wired correctly and linkages re-aligned right down to the glove compartment lid and associated chrome strip. It has clearly been well restored over the years with body panels correctly by Smooth Classic Restorations and mechanically overhauled by a series of professional and dedicated specialists right down to the soft and hardtop. This represents an extremely fine example, well documented and arguably in one of the most desirable and marketable colour schemes. Furthermore, it benefits from a matching hardtop, something that is not always present with these W121's and certainly not easy to find. The 250 V8 was a popular choice among luxury car buyers in the 1960s due to its comfortable ride and high-end features, such as leather seats, wood trim, and electric windows. The 1952 Ford F-1 Pick-up is a standout in the history of American trucks, combining rugged utility with a touch of post-war design elegance. It’s a part of Ford’s first-generation F-Series, which was introduced in 1948, marking a significant shift for the brand. By 1952, the F-1 had undergone some refinements, both in performance and style, but it still retained much of the character that made it a firm favourite. Under the bonnet, the F-1 was powered by Ford's 239-cubic-inch flathead V8 engine, which was mated to a three-speed manual transmission, offering drivers a hands-on experience that was standard for the era. Visually, the 1952 F-1 has a classic, slightly rounded design that feels both tough and refined. The front grille was wide and bold, with vertical chrome bars flanked by round headlights. The bonnet had a distinctive peak, a design element that added character while hinting at the vehicle’s performance potential. The truck’s arches were slightly flared, giving it a muscular look without being too overbearing. The rear bed was built for utility, designed to carry large loads but also offering plenty of space for customisation, whether it be for business or personal use. Inside, the F-1 featured a straightforward yet comfortable cabin. The bench seat could accommodate three people, and the dashboard was simple but well-constructed, with chrome accents and easy-to-read gauges. While not luxurious, it provided a practical and reliable interior for the time. This F-1 Pick-up has been beautifully restored to a very good standard. The vendor purchased the vehicle in 2011 as a project, he then spent a number of years ensuring work was carried out to the quality. The result of the vendors fastidious nature is a Ford Pick-up that presents exceedingly well. The bodywork shows no sign of corrosion and the red coachwork appears to have been done to a very high standard. The interior has been retrimmed and is blemish free. The load space to the rear has been trimmed in wood and is unmarked. With every panel straight and unmarked, this really is an eye-catching piece of American motoring history. We are advised this F-1 drives with no known faults and it certainly draws admiring glances wherever it appears. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a history folder, this surely must be one of the best examples available on the market today. The 1952 Ford F-1 Pick-up became a symbol of versatility and durability, it has gained a loyal following among classic car enthusiasts, and today, a well-restored F-1 is a prized collector's item. Good history folderLargely original conditionThe Fiat X1/9 represents the culmination of a model that was both revolutionary and iconic in the realm of compact sports cars. Introduced in 1972 and produced until 1989, the X1/9 was designed by Italian styling house Bertone and engineered to combine practicality, affordability, and enjoyable driving dynamics. One of the X1/9's defining features is its mid-engine layout, a rarity in affordable cars of its era. By placing the engine behind the driver and ahead of the rear axle, the X1/9 achieved a near-perfect weight distribution, translating into great handling and cornering stability. The car’s angular, wedge-shaped design was strikingly modern when it debuted, with clean lines, pop-up headlights, and a removable targa top that allowed for open-air driving. Bertone branding was prominent in later years as Fiat handed over full production to the design firm in the early 1980. The X1/9 was powered by a 1.5 litre inline-four engine, producing around 75 horsepower. While modest by today’s standards, the lightweight construction (approximately 2,100 pounds) ensured nimble performance and responsive handling. A five-speed manual transmission added to the driving engagement, making the X1/9 a joy on winding roads. Despite its sporty nature, the X1/9 was remarkably practical. It featured two luggage compartments-one in the front and one in the rear-making it more versatile than many other sports cars of its time. The removable targa roof panel could be stowed neatly in the front boot, ensuring an open-air experience without sacrificing space.First registered on 29th July 1988 this Bertone built Fiat X1/9 presents in delightful condition. The red coachwork is largely original as is the grey velour interior, both are in very good order. The engine starts immediately when requested and we are advised this Fiat drives with no known faults. The owners’ manuals are present as are two sets of keys. There is a significant history file with this low mileage X1/9 confirming that this has clearly been a well looked after car. Also supplied is a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 3rd July 2025. The ultimate development of the legendary Silver Cloud series One of just 47 righthand drive Silver Cloud III coupésBelieved to have just two family owners from new From the moment the first Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud rolled out from the Crewe factory, it was seen as the Gold Standard of luxury cars, a crown which it maintained throughout its lengthy production. The Silver Cloud represented a huge leap forward for Rolls-Royce in terms of modern construction. No longer were they solely a chassis manufacturer but the Cloud series was sold as a complete car with fully packaged factory-built bodies, relegating custom coachwork to the exception rather than the rule. The 1959 model year saw the arrival of the long-awaited all-alloy, V8 engine in the Silver Cloud II. It was refined to its ultimate specification in 1963 with the Silver Cloud III nomenclature and to include a significant styling-refresh adding quad-headlamps flanking the classic radiator shell. Inside there was improved accommodation with separate front seats and increased room for the rear passengers. With its many refinements and timeless looks, the Cloud III remains a top choice amongst not only collectors but also driving enthusiasts.Originally supplied from the factory in porcelain white with a black roof, it was specified with electric windows and a Hirshmann electric aerial, it has since undergone extensive restoration presenting now in the blue colour shown. Originally sold to Mr. Jack Bateman of London as a company car, it was then transferred into his own name upon retirement in 1979 and subsequently passed to his wife in 1989 upon his death. Maggie Bateman then re-married to Mr. Christopher Power of Hurstbourne Tarrant, Hampshire whereupon it was later sold, in 2006, to the current owner. This short ownership sequence shows that it has remained in the same family ownership for over 42 years and maintained meticulously throughout its life as the extensive history files testify. Mr. Power apparently used the car purely for pleasure visiting Glyndebourne and Royal Ascot on a regular basis then put away for the winter months. They were also keen impart to our vendor that whilst in their ownership, the car had never “failed to proceed”, a term attribute to Rolls-Royce aficionados but rarely used. The engine was replaced with a reconditioned unit by Rolls-Royce in 1975 at 82,000 miles and the milometer was reset to 00000. It currently reads 63,500 still on this engine, a testament to its build quality and maintenance. In 1983, the car underwent significant restoration works with new front and rear wings fitted, a new rear panel and valance, all in aluminium of course and repainted still in the original colours. Then, during 1995-1998, all the steel substructure work was replaced and the bodywork completely rebuilt again although this time with the colour changed to the pale silver blue, still a true Rolls-Royce colour apparently. In addition, the woodwork was refinished with new carpets fitted and an overhaul of the leather work. A new stainless steel exhaust system was also fitted and the fuel system overhauled with all works carried out by noted restorers Vardy of Stockbridge, Hampshire. In 2004, the gearbox was rebuilt by Tony Shaw of Thruxton costing £2,745 and since, in the current owner’s stewardship, it has received a major service with general check over and new tyres all round. In addition to this upkeep & maintenance, earlier this year the car was sent away to Bentley specialist’s Rees Bros with the request to go through the car from top to bottom and attend to a number of different issues that had arisen through a period of inactivity. This initially involved simply getting the car up and running included dealing with seized brakes and power steering leaks. The brakes, in fact, required new brake cylinders all round with the renewal of both master cylinders and overall adjustments. At the same time, the twin fuel pumps were replaced, the carburettors were overhauled, and the choke mechanism and the ignition system were serviced and adjusted. Final adjustments were then carried out on the braking system during extensive road tests. The works, in fact, were extensive and totalled over 64 hours labour, you can imagine the cost of this alone, even before parts. it's just recently been carefully looked after by UCC professional storage where it has received the care it requires as well as a fresh one year MoT test certificate. Complete with two extensive history files going back practically to its original build date, a copy of the original set of chassis card details from the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts Club, this is in every way an exemplary example of its type and ready to “proceed” for many miles still to come. Subject to a 16 year restorationLong term ownership with sympathetic upgradesService and tuned ready for the summerThe Jaguar XK120 was manufactured between 1948 and 1954 and was Jaguar's first post-war sports car succeeding the SS100 which ceased production in 1940. It was launched in roadster form at the 1948 London Motor Show as a test bed and show car for the new Jaguar XK engine and caused a sensation, persuading William Lyons to put it into production. The ‘120’ name referred to its 120mph top speed which made it the world's fastest standard production car at the time of its launch. It was available in two convertible versions; first as the roadster then also as a drophead coupé from 1953 and as a closed, or ‘fixedhead’ coupé from 1951. The iconic shape of the Jaguar XK120 roadster sustains the car’s constant appreciation by classic car enthusiasts. They are eminently usable motorcars and understandably much coveted. Extremely robust, wonderfully reliable, and infinitely eye-catching; they are, understandably, one of the most collectable motorcars available today.Chassis #670670 is offered with red coachwork and complementing red leather interior and was originally a US left hand drive supplied car with matching numbers. Imported into the UK as a restoration project in 1987 it then underwent a complete restoration to extremely high standards. It is worth noting that the owner at the time was more than simply an enthusiast, although he is certainly that. He was an extremely experienced and knowledgeable restorer with many years and XK’s under his belt as well as a not inconsiderable formula motorsport career. This poised example represents what was a 16 year restoration before a recent 12 year love affair with our vendor and it has been extremely well maintained. The overall feel of the car is largely original right down to the correct and factory specified bonnet louvres but a number of subtle modifications have been incorporated to enhance the performance and intrinsic value. Fast road improvements include Coopercraft brakes, front and rear; bucket seats and a five speed Getrag gearbox. More technical additions include an increased capacity aluminium radiator, competition sand-cast C-Type carburetors and a correct C-Type exhaust system coupled to practical enhancements recently such as electronic ignition and fuel pump. 153 UXL is one of the very early steel bodied 120’s with a Jaguar/Daimler Heritage Trust certificate attesting to its genealogy. There are also a number of invoices from specialists including one from Les Trafford (Les Trafford Competition Engines) for an engine rebuild costing in excess of £5,000 during the restoration and many more recent invoices.Of late four brand new tyres were fitted, a service performed by his mechanic over the winter months and carb tune up so that our vendor could enjoy this year’s motoring, sadly circumstances have changed and thus the car is to be sold but with the assurance from our vendor that this is an example quite literally ready to drive and enjoy this summer. This most elegant of sporting Jaguars is possibly the best combination of achingly good lines with more modern day performance and usability, ready for that road trip, European tour or even road rally this is the perfect foil for the enthusiast driver, as the vendor declares 'The ultimate head-turner wherever she goes'. Just 147 miles from newSurely one of the lowest mileage examples in existenceOriginal purchase invoice includedThe first-generation Ford Transit or the Transit Mk. I was introduced in October 1965, taking over directly from the Ford Thames 400E, and has been in continuous production in three basic generations to the present day. The van was produced initially at Ford's Langley facility in Berkshire (a former Second World War aircraft factory which had produced Hawker Hurricane fighters), but demand outstripped the capability of the plant, and production was moved to Southampton until its closure in 2013. In March 1978, a face lifted version, commonly known as the Mk. II Transit, debuted with a restyled nose section, taken from the U.S. Mk. III Econoline, with a new interior, and the introduction of the Pinto engine from the Ford Cortina in place of the Essex V4 unit. The Mk. II was available in six body styles: Van, Kombi, Chassis Cab, Parcel Van, Bus and Crewbus all available in short-wheelbase (2690mm) and long-wheelbase (3000mm) versions. A selection of five engines were available: 1.6-litre OHC Petrol, 1.6-litre OHV Petrol (Kent), 2.0-litre OHC Petrol, 2.0-litre OHC Petrol (Economy) and 2.4-litre Diesel. On top of this were 32 door combinations, six-axle ratios and options for 12-17 interior seats. This particularly example is quite incredible, possibly unrepeatable, having covered just 147 miles from new. The story goes that this LWB twin axle two-litre petrol panel van variant was ordered brand new on March 18th1983 from Paynes Garages Ltd Hinckley by a Mr Sugden. It was purchased by him personally for his business, but unfortunately the business lost a large contract very soon after and went out of business, meaning the van was surplus to requirements. It then sat in the dealer’s showroom for another three years when the dealer asked if they could register it as they needed to meet their sales target. It was registered on September 30th 1987 with registration number E322 EAY but still was never put on the road and the bumpers have never had number plates fitted. The original 1983 invoice showing the new price of £7,594.54 is included, as well as the original registration document in Mr Sudgens name. The van is in very good overall condition and is pretty much the way it came out the factory minus some small surface marks and storage imperfections, we are advised it starts first time with the manual choke and idles smoothly. The interior is as expected, affectively as new. This is the ideal example for a collector or even as a display vehicle for a Ford dealership, it is likely one of if not the lowest mileage example available anywhere and is an opportunity not to be missed. Consigned by Fraser Smith Interested parties should note that contrary to the catalogue description, this Lot is sold without a V5C registration document and the new owner will need to apply for a new, they will become the second registered keeper from new. Full restored to an exceptionally high standardGerman delivered home market exampleIn current enthusiast ownership since 2014The Volkswagen Type 2 was introduced in 1950 as a multi-variant utility vehicle, known as the Transporter, Kombi or Microbus (depending on body type), and was devised as an evolution of the original Beetle. The first generation of these versatile vehicles (named the T1) was produced with distinctive splitscreens from 1950 until 1967. Only two models were originally offered, the Kombi and the Commercial, the Microbus was added in May 1950, and was joined by the Deluxe Microbus in June 1951. The Deluxe Microbus (known as the ‘Sunroof Deluxe' in America) was the most luxurious version of the Volkswagen Transporter T1. The Deluxe model featured eight rear side windows and two rear corner windows, making it the '15-window' but was not available in Europe. Meanwhile, the European-market Deluxe Microbus, with its additional eight small skylight windows is, accordingly, the '23-window'. From the 1964 model year with its wider rear door, the rear corner windows were discontinued, making the latter two, the 13-window and 21-window respectively. The 23 and later 21 window variants each carry the famous nickname 'Samba' and are particularly revered. This particular example was a home market German delivered example, originally used as part of the postal service. Our vendor is a lifelong Volkswagen enthusiast who purchased this splitscreen in May 2014 and used it for a couple of years on family camping trips, before deciding to carry out a full restoration in 2016. When our vendor purchased the vehicle, it was in a two-tone brown colour combination, so the decision was made to return the splitscreen to its original colour combination of white and green, but with some modern-day comforts discreetly added. As is so often the case, a large amount of structural work was needed, the bodywork was stripped right back to the metal with a new front end, one short side and one long side replaced, as well as floor pans and struts. Around the wheel arches and door shuts some more localised repairs were needed, but the finished product was a completely solid shell ready for paint. The paint was entrusted to Fisk and Dailly paint shop, who did a superb job, the finish is excellent and it still gleams today. The interior has had cabinets added, a sofa which turns into a double bed and various discreetly hidden away USB charging ports and the upholstery was completed by 13 Stiches. A full new wiring loom was fitted, the engine fully rebuilt, gearbox renovated, and a freshen up of the suspension and braking systems, so it now drives as good as it looks. A nice modern touch which is well hidden away are the addition of two solar panels on the roof, these are linked to a leisure battery to keep the van charged whilst pitched and also to run the USB ports, interior lights and engine bay service light. The splitscreen is being celebrated for its 75th anniversary at the Goodwood Revival this year, so what better time to buy one and get involved in the celebrations? Desirable ‘CP’ 150bhp modelConcours winning carFrame off nut and bolt restorationThe Triumph TR6 was manufactured for seven years from 1969 and by the time production came to an end in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the Triumph TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. For the US market, the engine was fitted with carburettors whilst, for other world markets including the UK, the TR6 was fitted with fuel-injection. It featured a four-speed manual gearbox, independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15" wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instruments. In total 94,619 TR6’s were built of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK.First registered on 5th February 1971, this desirable ‘CP’ 150bhp is a UK supplied home market car boasting the sought after overdrive gearbox. The car was subject to a ‘frame off’ restoration completed in 2016. Stripped down to the bare metal, the supplied photo books show the meticulous attention given to the car throughout the restoration. Presenting beautifully in Yasmin Yellow, the paintwork is impressive having been carried out by the well renowned Yorkshire based Malton Coachworks. The rest of the work was carried out by similarly well renowned companies such as TRGB who rebuilt the engine to Stage 2 specification, all running through a full stainless steel exhaust system. A new mohair hood has been fitted complimenting the excellent interior. Owned by the vendor since 2016 the car has been cherished by him and has several trophies from concours events including a 1st place win in 2018.Supplied with its V5 registration document, substantial history file, photo record of restoration and previous MoT test certificates dating back to 1987 as well as a current MoT test certificate valid until November 2025. Produced from 1963 to 1968, the Jaguar S-Type was technically a more sophisticated development of the Jaguar Mk. II, offering buyers a more luxurious alternative. It was available with either 3.4 or 3.8 litre XK engines and featured longer rear bodywork among other styling and interior changes. Despite its extra weight, the S-Type's independent rear suspension allowed it to corner faster than the Mk. II, especially on uneven surfaces, providing better traction and a much smoother ride for rear seat passengers with the consensus that the S-Type offered significant improvements over the Mk. II in road holding, safety and ride comfort. It was described as 'a convenient family car, a businessman's express, a sports coupé and a grand tourer.'Finished in light metallic blue with contrasting trim this Jaguar S-Type was first registered in early 1965 boasting the iconic 3.8 litre engine. Time-warp exampleRetained by original owner for 38 yearsRecent major service including beltsThe initial four generations of the Supra were produced from 1978 to 2002. The fifth generation has been produced since March 2019 and went on sale in May 2019. The styling of the original Supra was derived from the Toyota Celica, but it was both longer and wider, more of a GT offering. Starting in mid-1986, the A70 Supra became a separate model from the Celica. In turn, Toyota also stopped using the prefix Celica and named the car ‘Supra’.This particular example can only be described as ‘time-warp’. The original owner kept this car for 38 years, ownership only changing hands to our vendor in 2024. Our vendor purchased this car for his father, who used to own an A70 Supra. However it has seen very little use, so the decision has been made to sell the car in the hope it will go to an enthusiast or collector who fully appreciates just how special this example is. The overall condition of the car is extremely impressive, the interior shows almost no wear and the paintwork is in great order too. The owner’s manual and service book are present, there is not a huge number of services recorded, due to the lack of use, but a major service has been carried out during our vendor’s ownership with belts and fluids changed. This Supra was clearly used very occasionally by the original owner, probably only dry miles, and the engine bay is extremely clean, giving the impression it has probably never had a chance to accumulate much road dirt at all. • A faithful recreation of the Morris Fire Van (original in National Heritage Centre)• All sign writing is hand painted With Austin and Morris both being part of BMC, the Minor-based Morris commercials were also marketed as the Austin 6cwt and Austin 8cwt with a closed van and open pick-up versions. They were designed for commercial use with small businesses in mind, although many made their way to larger corporations. The van version was popular with the Post Office, with both the van and the pick-up differing from the monocoque construction of the Saloon and Traveller variant by having a separate chassis. They also differed in details such as telescopic rear dampers, stiffer rear leaf springs and lower ratio differentials to cope with the heavier loads. This Morris Minor pick-up has been lovingly created as a copy of the fire vans that operated inside the Morris production facility, these pick-ups were used because they were small enough to fit between the production lines. The original Morris Motors fire engine is in the National Motor Heritage Centre at Gaydon. There is also a Corgi Classics model of the pick-up. This lovely Morris has been in a ‘van and pick-up’ museum in Europe for the past ten years. It comes with a fresh MoT test certificate, even though it is no longer required due to the age of the vehicle (and bear in mind that the road tax is also free). This is a faithful recreation which even comes complete with ladder, electrically operated bell, blue light, standpipe, fire extinguishers and hose etc. Interestingly, the sign writing is all hand painted – no vinyl! The Ford Model A Cabriolet, produced between 1928 and 1931, is a classic piece of automotive history, blending style, innovation, and practicality. It was part of Ford’s revolutionary Model A line-up, which replaced the popular Model T and marked the beginning of a new era in automobile design. The Ford Model A Cabriolet was powered by a 3.3 litre, four-cylinder engine that produced 40 horsepower, which was a significant improvement over the Model T's engine. This allowed the Cabriolet to reach speeds of up to 65 mph, a noticeable upgrade in terms of performance for its time. The engine was paired with a three-speed manual transmission, making the driving experience both engaging and straightforward. What set the Cabriolet apart from other vehicles of the era was its design. It featured a stylish folding soft top, allowing for an open-air driving experience when the weather was right, and a fully enclosed body when needed. The elegant bodywork was complemented by chrome accents and stylish wheels, making the Cabriolet an attractive and sought-after model. Inside, the cabin was comfortable, with simple yet durable upholstery that reflected the utilitarian nature of Ford vehicles. The Model A Cabriolet was affordable, with a base price that was accessible to middle-class families while still offering a sense of prestige. Its versatility made it popular for both everyday driving and leisurely outings. This Model A Cabriolet is thought to be just one of only three examples in the UK. It has clearly been restored at a high standard and presents in delightful condition. Finished in blue, with black running boards and a new beige hood, this Ford is certainly a handsome car. The vendor has carried out an extensive restoration over a long period. However, due to lack of use and the loss of suitable storage space, the time is right for the car to be sold. The issue is likely to be through lack of use, as the Model A was running when put into the garage. In right hand drive format, this stylish piece of Americana has a Dickey seat for occasional use. Offered for sale with a V5 and a history folder with a collection of receipts. • Sold on behalf of a deceased estate • An exceptional example that runs and drives well The Lagonda car company was founded in 1906 in Staines, Middlesex by the American Wilbur Gunn (1859-1920), who named it after a river near his hometown of Springfield, Ohio. Gunn had started out building motorcycles. In 1907, he launched his first car and in 1910 won the Moscow to St. Petersburg Trial driving a 16/18bhp model. Having established its reputation, Lagonda concentrated mainly on the production of light cars before reverting to sporting and luxury models in the mid-1920s with the introduction of the 14/60. This four-cylinder, 2.0 litre model was joined in 1929 by the first Lagonda six-cylinder engine, the 3.0 litre, but by the mid-1930s, the Meadows-engined cars were seen as the way forward. Introduced at the 1933 Olympia Show and based on the preceding ZM 3.0 litre model, the M45 which deployed the Meadows’ 4.5 litre, twin-plug six-cylinder to good effect with saloons being capable of reaching 90mph and tourers even hitting ‘the ton’ under favourable conditions! A team of three specially prepared short-chassis cars (effectively the soon-to-be-announced M45 Rapide) prepared by Lagonda main agents, Fox & Nicholls, performed creditably at the 1934 RAC Tourist Trophy at Ards and the following year, one of these TT cars driven by John Hindmarsh and Luis Fontes won the Le Mans 24 Hour endurance classic outright. Endowed with such an impeccable pedigree, the Lagonda 4.5 litre quickly established itself as a favourite among the wealthy sporting motorists of its day - World Land Speed Record holder, Sir Malcolm Campbell was one of many high-profile M45 owners – and over 80 years on, this model and the M45R Rapide in particular, remains a much sought-after classic. This lovely Lagonda M45 with the desirable factory T7 touring body was first registered on 28th October 1933. Reading the information from the HPI certificate the car was repainted in 1991, changing the colour from green/black to all green. We believe that this M45 was purchased by Mr. Simon Carrel in 2011 and was stored in Wargrave, Berkshire from June 2013. It has been used sparingly since and the longest trip he did with the car was for a weekend in the West Country for a friend’s wedding. While at Wargrave the car was started regularly, and any minor problems were dealt with by Mr. Carroll and the larger work was carried out by Historic racing specialist George Fowles keeping the car running and driving superbly. Recently the car has been recommissioned which included replacing the battery, cleaning the fuel system and rebuilding the carburettors. This lovely example is finished in green with green leather interior and has been kept to its original specification. This is an exceptional example which is totally reliable, ready to be used and has all the style one would expect from a 1930’s Lagonda. 6.3 litre naturally aspirated V12The world’s fastest four-seat car in 2011The FF, a GT car that was produced by Ferrari from 2011 to 2016, a successor to the 612 Scaglietti, the FF whose name is an acronym for ‘Ferrari Four’ is a three-door shooting brake. Development of the FF began in 2007 and it debuted at the Geneva International Motor Show in March 2011; production started in the same month in Maranello, Italy. Designed under the direction of Lowie Vermeersch and Flavio Manzoni, the FF shares parts, mainly the engine, with the F12 Berlinetta a coupé that was introduced one year after the FF. Upon its release, the FF became the world's fastest four-seater car and Ferrari's second-fastest grand tourer after the 599 GTO. The FF features a 6.3 L V12 engine that produces a power output of 651hp and a torque output of 504 lb ft, sufficient to give the car a maximum speed of 208mph and a 0-62mph acceleration of 3.7 seconds. Its transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch. The FF has received positive reviews from critics, who appreciate its design but criticised its steep price. The recipient of numerous awards, including Top Gear's Estate Car of the Year in 2011, the FF was succeeded by the GTC4 Lusso in 2016.This four-seat Gran Tourer was first registered on 20th January 2012 and is presented in black with a cream leather trim. Boasting a full carbon driving zone and the must have carbon fibre steering wheel with race lights, along with the usual Ferrari refinements including factory fitted rear screens. Due to customer pressure regarding the engine, the far superior 'Arnage Red Label' was launched in October 1999 and the engine reverted to the iconic Rolls-Royce derived 6.8 litre V8 power plant.Originally registered on 1st May 2004, this stunning Red Label Mulliner specification Arnage was one of just 25 right hand drive models manufactured in 2004. Boasting only two previous keepers from new, it is finished in the delightful colour combination of Peacock Blue over Cotswold hide, with burr walnut to the inlays, door capping’s which boast marque emblems and picnic tables. Offered with a comprehensive service history with both main dealer and independent Bentley specialist stamps across two service booklets, this example was last serviced around 1,000 miles ago. Well cared for throughout its life, the vendor describes this car as stunning inside and out with specification including multifunction heated front seats with memory setting, electric rear seats, sunroof, companion mirrors, satellite navigation, radio with separate six CD player, 12 spoke special order alloy wheels, lamb’s wool over rugs, two Bentley umbrellas stowed in boot and a jewel filler cap. Living in a controlled environment when not driven, this is a fabulous example. Viewing is advised to fully appreciate the quality of this desirable classic. Consigned by Stewart Banks. • Recent full engine rebuild• Extensive history file and expenditure• One of 220 Giallo Ginestra examplesThe Lancia Delta was launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1979 and is best known for its domination of the World Rally Championship in the late 1980s and early 1990s. Constantly being developed, the first 'Evolution' cars were built at the end of 1991 and carried on through 1992; these models were the final homologation cars built for the Lancia Rally Team competing under the Martini Racing banner. In June 1993, the second 'Evolution' version of the Delta HF Integrale featured an updated version of the two litre, 16 valve turbo engine to produce more power and torque, now developing 215 PS (against 210 PS on the earlier un-catalytic version). The 1993 Integrale received a cosmetic and functional facelift that included 16" light alloy rims with 205/45 ZR 16 tyres, bodycolour roof moulding to underline the connection between the roof and the solar tinted windows, aluminium fuel cap and air-intake grilles on the front mudguards, red colour coded cam cover, leather-covered three-spoke Momo steering wheel and Recaro seats upholstered in tan Alcantara with diagonal stitching. With these upgrades, the Evo II Integrale is considered by many as the most desirable version to own. This striking 1994 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evolution II is a stunning example of the iconic rally derived homologation special in the coveted limited edition Giallo Ginestra Yellow of which only 220 were produced. Supplied new in Germany and first registered in Hamburg on 31st August 1994 where the car spent three years before coming to the UK and being registered on 3rd September 1997. If ever there's a car where yellow works better than any other it’s the Lancia Delta Integrale and in Giallo Ginestra, it is one of the rarest Evolutions produced. Under the bonnet sits a 2.0 litre turbocharged 16 valve in-line four-cylinder engine producing an impressive 219bhp sent to all four wheels via a five-speed manual transmission, thanks to the new ECU and the Garett T3 turbo on the Evo II which translates into a 0-60mph in 5.7 seconds.Inside you find dark grey Alcantara trim with yellow stitching, Recaro front sports seats, new black carpets and HF over mats, Momo Corse steering wheel, air conditioning, and it has a new set of 17" Evolution Speedline Corse magnesium alloy wheels in Anthracite with new Pirelli P-Zero tyres. The car has had seven previous keepers from new with our vendor having purchased the car in July 2018. It boasts an impressive and full marque specialist maintenance history with 17 stamps in the service/maintenance book, five in Germany and nine by Lancia dealer Walkers Garage Ltd in Northallerton, North Yorkshire and four by Auto Integrale Ltd in Reading. There is a lot of expenditure on the car from 2003 to 2018 amounting to £18,850 and upon purchasing the car in September 2018, the current owner had Walkers Garage carry out a full assessment of the car and as a result of their recommendations he spent a further £16,162 with works amounting to 189 ¼ hours in total, including a full engine rebuild plus many other new components. In addition to these works, some paintwork rectification was carried out by a specialist body shop totalling £2,000, re-trimming of the front seats by a specialist trimmer at £1,800, all amounting to £20,662 and a total spend on the car of £39,512 since 2003.The car comes with is original handbook pack including maintenance book and owner’s manual, two books on Lancia Delta Integrale’ s including Peter Collins hardback book, HPi check and certificate, MoT history and test certificates, all invoices for works and servicing carried out. It has now covered a genuine 81,928 miles (131,850 kilometres) from new, but only 464 miles since the engine rebuild by Walkers Garage Ltd, a few more miles will be undertaken prior to the auction but it is advised that further running in is completed before you take on any rally stages. A fabulous and rare car that needs no introduction, the Lancia Delta Integrale is just a truly great classic, and one to keep in your garage! Viewing is highly recommended. Super Seven 1800cc De-Dion kitWell specifiedExcellent conditionCaterham Cars is a manufacturer of specialist lightweight sports cars and is a direct evolution of the Series III Lotus Seven designed by Colin Chapman originally launched in 1973. Caterham had been a major Lotus Seven dealer during the 1960's and its founder, Graham Nearn, purchased the rights to continue manufacture of the Seven design after Lotus announced its intention to discontinue the model. The Lotus/Caterham Seven is widely regarded by car enthusiasts and the media as one of the most precise handling sports cars ever, with 2007 marking the 50th year of continuous production. As with its Lotus Seven predecessor, Caterhams are constructed of aluminium sheet attached to a tubular steel chassis and all are front engined with rear-wheel drive and two seats. Their extremely high performance is achieved through being lightweight and well balanced rather than from having particularly powerful engines.Ordered in kit form in August 1999, the buyer, Mr. Ian Forshew took delivery of the car soon after, at his home in Dorking. The build of the car was completed and was on the road by March of the following year. Ordered without compromise, it was specified with the more expensive De-Dion rear suspension and 1800cc K-Series Rover engine mated to a five-speed gearbox. Other extras include; FIA rollbar, battery master switch, four-point harness seatbelts, aero filler cap, immobiliser, quick release Momo steering wheel leather adjustable seats and weather equipment. Having been part of not one, but two large collections in recent years, the car is now for sale due to a lack of use. The vendor reports the car to run and drive very well providing “smiles for miles” with its punchy 1800cc engine and famously good handling.Supplied with its V5 registration document, MoT test certificate which expires in May 2025 and an impressive history file. Always popular and offering unrivalled’ bang for your buck’, the Caterham Seven still embarrasses much more expensive machinery both on the road and track. The fourth generation Ford Thunderbird was produced by Ford for the 1964 to 1966 model years. Ford restyled this generation of the Thunderbird in favour of a more squared-off, ‘formal’ look. The only remnant of the Thunderbird's former sporty image was that the standard 390 cubic inch 300bhp V8 engine pushing the car to 60mph in 11 seconds. The softly sprung suspension allowed considerable comfort. The revised model was initially offered as a hardtop, convertible, and Landau, with vinyl roof, simulated landau irons, and wood grain interior appointments. The sports Roadster was discontinued for this generation, however, a dealer offered convertible tonneau cover and wire wheels option was still available. Total 1964 sales were excellent at 92,465, up nearly fifty percent from the previous year. The 1964 Thunderbird was the only model of this generation to have the word 'Thunderbird' spelled out on the front hood instead of a chrome Thunderbird emblem. The transmission was the Cruise-O-Matic MX 3 speed automatic and the listed retail price for the 1964 two-door hardtop coupe was $4,486 near $50,000 dollars in today’s money. This example of the 1965 coupé is presented in cream paintwork with a contrasting black vinyl roof and painted black fenders and bonnet scoop for a sportier look. First registered in 1965, this example was imported to the UK in 2019 and has had two owners since. Boasting the 6.4 litre V8 and typical Cadillac luxury inside it has recently benefited from a light recommission and remains the imposing car it would have been 60 years ago. Supplied with a V5 registration document, this is a solid drivable project, perfect for an enthusiast to further improve and enjoy. The rear lights, which are currently upgraded to LED units provide a custom look but the original lights are also supplied with the car. With the growing American car club scene this example is sure to find its home at shows and meets with its luxurious, comfortable ride, stylish design, and unique features. The BMW E30 is the second-generation of BMW 3 Series, which was produced from 1982 to 1994 and replaced the E21. The range included two-door coupé and convertible body styles, as well as being the first 3 Series to be produced in four-door saloon and wagon/estate body styles. It was powered by either a four-cylinder petrol, six-cylinder petrol or six-cylinder diesel engines, the latter a first for the 3 Series. The E30 325iX model was the first BMW to have all-wheel drive. The first BMW M3 model was built on the E30 platform and the BMW Z1 roadster was also based on the E30 platform. This very well-kept example of this hugely popular ‘yuppy’ convertible by BMW is presented in dark blue with a beige interior and has a dark blue manually operated hood. The car was purchased and registered to Lease Contracts which was then transferred to the owner’s name in 1991 (he having been the name on the lease contract) therefore only having one driver since new with the V5 registration document showing one former keeper. It comes with its original Blaupunkt stereo, electric windows, original service book showing seven stamps and the history file contains other service receipts and records with its last service being carried out in July 2023 at 57,342 miles. The history file also contains old MoT test certificates, original books, manuals and it comes with two sets of keys and a new MoT test certificate, which expires in January 2026. Full SV ConversionCustom exhaust and 760bhpThe Aventador was launched on 28th February 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show, five months after its initial unveiling in Sant'Agata Bolognese. Internally codenamed LB834, it was designed to replace the then-decade-old Murciélago as the new flagship model. Soon after its unveiling, Lamborghini announced that it had sold 12 cars, with deliveries starting in the second half of 2011. By March 2016, Lamborghini had built 5,000 Aventadors. At the time, it was the second-best selling Lamborghini model ever. The Aventador LP 700–4 used Lamborghini's 690hp 6.5 litre 60° V12 engine, weighing about 235kg. Known internally as the L539, it was Lamborghini's fifth in-house engine and only second V12 design since the 3.5 litre power plant found in the 350GT.This stunning example was first registered on 1st March 2013 and is presented in Arancio Argos Pearlescent Orange and boasts a full SV kit. The Lamborghini Aventador full SV Conversion consists of genuine 21/20 SV alloy wheels, Voodoo rear section, grille designed and fitted by GV Performance and custom exhaust system with custom centre exit and MTC catless downpipes with genuine SVJ exhaust tips. A one-off bespoke tuning map by GV Performance was undertaken to account for the modified downpipes and custom exhaust system which as a byproduct raised the power to 760bhp. The transmission is a seven-speed automated manual with (ISR) drivetrain mated to all wheel drive wish ASR - Anti Slip Regulation.Inside regular refinements such as automatic air conditioning with solar sensor, branded electric leather heated front seats, Bi-Xenon headlights with projector beam lenses, rear view camera and Bluetooth mated to a Sensonum premium sound system with voice activating for phone and navigation and multi-function steering wheel and nose lifting system. The T-shaped engine cover in polycarbonate can be seen through the transparent engine bonnet, the carbonfibre monocoque holds the driver but a peek through the SV wheels reveals the carbon ceramic brakes which alongside the SV rear spoiler, front electronic limited-slip differential and rear mechanical limited-slip differential enables this Aventador to handle as well as it accelerates. Build in excess of £100,000280bhp 3.8 litre engine with limited slip differentialGumball 3000 rally entrantEngine rebuild circa 200 miles agoThe Coombs Jaguar is a modified version of the Jaguar Mk. II 3.8 litre that was prepared for racing in the 1960s by the Coombs race team. The Coombs Jaguar was known for its performance, handling, and braking, and was driven by notable drivers including Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori. Essentially, the Coombs conversion for road cars consisted of an uprated engine matched by steering and suspension modifications, but the company offered a plethora of options from which customers could choose. They included an additional fuel tank, a wood-rim steering wheel and a chrome plated boot rack. Coombs would also modify the rear wheel arches, removing the spats and making up rolled edges to match the profile of the front wheel arches. The primary objective of this was to improve access for wheel changing during motorsport events, but the modification improved the appearance of the car so much that it is surprising Jaguar themselves did not adopt the modification for production cars. Not all the Coombs cars had the same state of tune, but the typical engine had 9:1 compression pistons, a lightened flywheel and a different carburettor air-intake system. The whole bottom-end assembly would be balanced and the cylinder head would be gas-flowed. A number of Coombs-style cars feature a louvred bonnet but this was not an advertised option in the early days. This stunning Coombs evocation was purchased by our vendor in 2005 as a standard manual 3.4 litre Mk. II. A two-owner car at the time, it was first registered on 7th May 1969. Our vendor ran the car and enjoyed it for some time, in 2011 the decision however was taken to fully restore and uprate the car to a fast road, ‘Coombs Evocation’ with no stone unturned, a project that spanned three years completing in 2014. The cost of the build was well into six figures and when completed the quality, comfort and ability of the car enabled our vendor to take the car on the Gumball 3000 rally, stretching its legs amongst modern Lamborghinis, Ferraris and the world’s top supercars, rubbing shoulders with celebrities on the way.The build for HOO 429B started with a chemical dipped bodyshell prior to any repairs, then a second chemical dip before an ‘E Cote’ was carried out on the completed bodyshell. The engine compartment and inner wings were modified to accommodate the additional required equipment and the 3.4 litre engine was raised to 3.8 litres. Specially designed performance camshafts were made and added to component upgrades with Triple SU carburettors during the rebuild providing 280bhp at the flywheel and 315 lbft of torque at 4600rpm fed by twin fuel tanks with two position Monza filling caps. The engine is mated to a five speed fully re-built ‘Supra’ gearbox and bespoke prop shaft with limited slip differential. The suspension was poly bushed and powder coated and sits on classic Koni race shock absorbers behind the Borrani wire wheels and three eared Borrani spinners. A stainless-steel exhaust manifold is mated to a bespoke stainless-steel exhaust system and stopping is courtesy of up-rated Coopercraft brakes with dual action servo while cooling via an aluminium radiator and Kenlowe electric cooling fan. Other necessary mechanical upgrades include an up-rated alternator bespoke pedal box with brake balance bar, power steering, oil cooler and bespoke handbrake system. The car received full bespoke re-wiring before the inside of the car was subject to a raft of upgrades including, upgraded wiper system, electric central locking, electric windows front and rear, twin air conditioning systems to maximise ‘in car’ cooling, Sundym glass throughout with heated front and rear windscreen and self-dimming rear view mirror. The entire car benefited from a Dynamat sound proofing, Inertia seatbelts were fitted to all seats and a special under rear seat battery box housing a high technology race battery. The car has a high-end sound system, DVD entertainment, safety and security ‘tracker’ system and a raft of addition convenience lights fitted to the front footwell compartments, under the boot and bonnet, kerb/sill lights on the lower edge of all four doors along with modern door open lights fitted to opening face/edge on all four doors.Of course, this is all in a cabin finished with European Walnut trim throughout and full leather upholstery with uprated non-Mk. II Jaguar, bespoke trimmed front seats fitted with electric assist motors, seat heaters and Jaguar bespoke trimmed heated rear seats. Looking down the nose of the Coombes style aluminium bonnet and with the necessary wheel spats and Mk. II chromework, this is a stunning example. The shut lines are fantastic and unlike any Mk. II our consignor has seen, the doors shut with an almost Germanic thud rather than a typical Mk. II clang!Having completed the Gumball rally in 2014 and enjoyed the Mk. II, our vendor has more recently had the engine fully rebuilt with the run in process complete but barely a few hundred miles covered since. Being part of a larger collection it has been used sparingly since its 2014 exploits and warm garaged when not used. One of, if not the most comprehensive upgraded builds we have had the pleasure to offer, this example is sure to be very popular with both Jaguar enthusiasts but also those looking for something very special. A quality low mileage exampleSupplied with Jaguar Heritage CertificateThe first XJ was launched in 1968; a designation which has been used for successive Jaguar flagship models ever since and was also the last Jaguar saloon to have had the input of Sir William Lyons, the company's founder. In late 1979, the XJ was face-lifted and was known as the 'Series III'. Using the long-wheelbase version of the car, the XJ6 incorporated a subtle redesign by Pininfarina. Externally, the most obvious changes over the Series II were the thicker, rubber bumpers with decorative chrome only on the top edge, flush door handles for increased safety, a one-piece front door glass, a grille with only vertical vanes, reverse lights moved from the boot plinth to the larger rear light clusters and a revised roofline with narrower door frames and increased glass area. The introduction of the Series III model also saw the option of a sunroof and cruise control for the first time on any XJ models. This delightful 4.2 litre XJ6 was originally registered on 1st January 1983 and is presented in metallic silver with a full leather trim, both an optional extra when new. This cars specification from new is, unusually, nearer to Sovereign levels and coupled to the metallic paint and leather trim the extras included air conditioning, Pepperpot alloy wheels and an automatic gearbox, all of which were very costly options. The first owner of this Jaguar was B.D Cook & Partners of London and the quality of this car has to be seen to be appreciated, the engine bay presents very well, the interior is stunning and the coachwork and underside certainly show quality, thus viewing is highly recommended for any Jaguar enthusiast. Having covered just 33,200 miles from new, this car is offered with the full book pack including stamped service booklet, a Heritage Certificate and MoT test certificates dating back to 1990, these are coupled to invoices and a full years MoT test certificate. The W140 was a flagship vehicle premiered at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1991 with the first examples rolling off the production line in August 1991. The SE/SEL/SEC cars were renamed the S-Class, with alphanumerical designations inverted. The W140 was the first of the ‘next generation’ of Mercedes-Benz models to feature the company's new design theme and development began in 1981. The W140 introduced innovations such as double-pane window glazing, power-assisted closing for doors and boot lid, electric windows which lowered back down upon encountering an obstruction and a heating system which, if desired, continued to emit warm air after the engine was turned off. For details like this, the W140 is often known as the last Mercedes-Benz to be ‘over-engineered’. The W140 used a hydropneumatic rear suspension, first introduced on the W126 range. In 1993, the 408hp, V12 engine was slightly detuned to 389hp to comply with more stringent emission control regulations. This S500L presents in very good order; its metallic blue paintwork and grey leather trim have aged well. The specification of the S500 Mercedes-Benz is excellent with, electric seats, air conditioning, anti-lock brakes and cruise control all standard fitment. Unusually, this example is a long wheelbase Limo version offering even more refinement for passengers. Effortless driving is probably the best way to describe this example, which has been well maintained. • Right hand drive 'Home Market' example • One of only 1,403 examples • Specification as per BMI Heritage Certificate• Fully restored exampleThe MGC was the first 'high performance' version of the MGB. From early in the design stages of the MGB there was an intention to create high performance variants, using a range of Vee engines that did not make it to production. The MGC was much more than a tuned MGB, in fact it was a completely re-engineered car, but retained many visual connections to the MGB. On the outside the MGC was often mistaken for an MGB as the only visual difference was the heavily bulged bonnet with a transverse chrome strip that accentuated the bulges, and the standard use of 15” wheels instead of the 14” used on the MGB. Inside there were very few differences between the B and C, other than the 140mph speedometer and tachometer with a yellow and red banding, set against lower RPM than the MGB. During its short production, just 8,999 MGC examples were produced, a near 50/50 split of GT and Roadster production respectively, approximately 70% of all cars were offered for export markets, making UK ‘Home Market’ examples, the Roadster especially, just 1,403, some of the most desirable examples. Dispatched for retail on 1st July 1968 and registered in London, this wonderful right hand drive ‘Home Market’ MGC Roadster is confirmed by the accompanying British Motoring Heritage Certificate issued to Captain J P Mitchell. Finished in the original Tartan Red with black leather interior, black 'packaway' hood, 15" disc wheels and full-size tonneau all as per the build sheet. This stunning example has had just four former keepers since the early 1980's, covering a mere 900 miles in the last three years and only 6,000 miles in the last 20 years. In exceptional condition and with a full lever arch file of history confirming ongoing specialist maintenance, restoration, MoT test certificates back to the early 80's, books and parts catalogues, we believe this is one of the finest MG's we have had the opportunity to offer. The bodywork remains in excellent condition, the panel gaps are very good and the all-important seams are equally as impressive. The Tartan Red paintwork has been polished to a wonderfully lustrous shine, the original chrome bumpers, over-riders and grille are as new. The lenses are excellent and 15" original specified disc wheels, shod with near full tread 185/65/15 Dunlop SP Sport tyres, offer a more original 'feel' car for the purist. Inside, the original 'Banjo' three spoke steering wheel is found along with black leather seats with red piping showing minor wear and a pair of period Kangol seatbelts. A quality set of carpets which extend to the boot area are as new, as are the door cards and kick-panels, these are accompanied by a wonderfully clear, original dash with no add-ons which makes a lovely place to be. Being a Roadster, this MGC comes with an original specification 'packaway' hood, but we are informed it has been a 100% dry weather only car for the last four years at least, it is also supplied with the as new full-length tonneau. We are informed that mechanically this MGC is a dream, the engine having recently undergone a full strip and rebuild and currently with 'running-in' mileage only which any new owner should bear in mind. The engine bay is period correct and in excellent order, from cold a little choke, a turn of the key and 'vroom', the car fires instantly, not a puff of smoke and settles into a turbine smooth idle with a lovely tone coming through the stainless exhaust system. We are informed the gearbox action is tight and accurate, boasting overdrive and the brakes are servo-assisted. With just over 1,400 right hand drive 'Home Market' examples built, to find and offer a genuine right hand drive example of the MGC is a real pleasure and an example finished to this standard, a delight. With a great history file, spanning some 40 years and finished in arguably the best colour, Tartan Red and with a freshly rebuilt engine to boot, we feel you'll struggle to find a nicer, original specification example of this classic MGC Roadster! This rare example is finished in British Racing Green with an Oatmeal leather interior. It was formerly fitted with a 3.8S engine but now has a 4.2 XK engine and an XJS Getrag five-speed manual gearbox. It was previously owned, restored, and substantially upgraded by an ex-Jaguar service manager over the last 24 years. Fitted and upgraded with electronic power steering, electronic ignition and a refurbished modern leather interior. Its last owner had the car since 1999 and there have only been three former keepers. It is equipped with HIF carbs, manual choke, electronic ignition, alternator, hi-torque starter motor, stainless steel exhaust, alloy radiator and electric heater pump. It is also fitted with electronic power steering with adjustable assistance, limited slip differential, uprated suspension and was subject to a bare metal respray some years ago. The interior was refurbished in Oatmeal leather, with modern front seats and custom console. Other works included four inertia reel seatbelts, suede roof lining, LED interior and dash lights, refurbished Walnut dash with integral cupholders, instruments, electronic speedo, voltmeter, tacho and clock. It has a wooden steering wheel, Vicma door mirrors, USB sockets, Cibie headlamps and Pioneer four speaker DAB stereo with hands free capability. The present owner recently took the car to Julian Ferraro Jaguar in Salisbury and had the engine and gearbox removed owing to a head gasket which had gone. They transferred ancillaries to a replacement 4.2 litre XJ6 engine which was said to have done 46,000 miles. Amongst certain works a replacement steering box and steering idlers were fitted, aluminium radiator repaired, engine and gearbox refitted, refit engine, new clutch kit, tuned and road tested. A receipt is available showing the cost of this work at £6,500. The vendor says it has transformed the car which is now ready for the road again. The owner then sourced some new steel wheels, tyres and hub caps plus chrome wheel trims. We are told the speedometer is currently not working but the vendor is going to endeavour to rectify this prior to auction. Power steeringAttractive Tudor Grey over Shell Silver with Maroon interiorWell-travelled on many European toursThe Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud was the core model of the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars range from April 1955 until March 1966. It replaced the Silver Dawn and was, in turn, replaced by the Silver Shadow. The J.P. Blatchley design was a major change from the pre-war models and the highly derivative Silver Dawn. As part of a range rationalisation, the Bentley S1 is also very similar apart from, of course, its radiator grille. The chassis was a simple steel box section, welded together and very rigid. Construction retained the traditional split between chassis and body which facilitated the provision of special bodied versions, although in practice the overwhelming majority of cars were delivered with the standard steel bodyshell, produced by Pressed Steel, and employing lightweight aluminium based alloy for the doors, bonnet, and boot lid. The engine was a 155hp six-cylinder unit with inlet over exhaust valves; twin SU carburettors were added in September 1957 and standard was a four-speed, automatic transmission. This Silver Cloud I is presented in the highly desirable colour combination of Tudor Grey over Shell Silver with a Maroon leather interior. Our vendor purchased the car around two years ago and has enjoyed the car as part of his private collection, reporting the car to have been a joy to own and drive and trouble free throughout his tenure. Presented in excellent condition, the standout area of the car would be its interior, the wood is in splendid order and the seats present superbly, they have likely been retrimmed at some point and wear a very gentle patina. The exterior brightwork gleams and the paintwork is in good order with only a few minor blemishes in places, mainly on the upper Tudor Grey areas. The previous keeper owned the car for a decade and took it on various European tours including Italy, Switzerland and France, reportedly without a single breakdown or problem along the way. A brake service was carried out in September 2022 and the history file shows other various works completed throughout the years. This is certainly one of the more distinguished examples available. These cars are at their best when they are used regularly, and this example will be missed by our vendor. Supplied to auction with a V5C registration document and a comprehensive history file with various invoices and correspondence regarding its European adventures with the previous keeper.
