The Players were also significant makers of machinery for the tinplate industry, including the 'Clydach Tinning Machine'. ++In fine condition with no sign of ever having been worn, no wear or damage, the movement in working order, the enamel dial undamaged, no rust on movement

An early 20th Century French diamond centred triple-strand pearl choker necklace, formed of graduated pearls measuring from approximately 7mm to 3mm, each string linked to a central stylized diamond-set twelve-petal flower, old Victorian-cut diamonds, central oval cut diamond estimated 0.5 carats, further thirty-six diamonds set to the petals estimated 0.5 carats+, (over 1 carat total), 33cm in length, with engine-turned sliding-clip platinum catch, stamped lozenge mark with the initial 'JL' flanking a flower.
A silver twin-compartment cigar and cigarette box by Padgett & Braham Ltd., London, 1938, except the vesta box, 1948, the twin engine-turned covers with stepped sides flanking central detachable cigar cutter and vesta box, the former initialled "LC", striking strip in front of vesta box, the rectangular engine-turned sides with incurved corners and faceted side handles, on stepped bracket feet, cedarwood-lined, 35.9 cm. long x 21 cm. wide x 9 cm. high, gross weight 3054 gm.Small bruise to one facet of one handle, minuscule ding to top of vesta box otherwise in good order.
