A silver gilt vinaigrette, Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1845, book form, with foliate scroll decoration, the underside with engine turned decoration and vacant rectangular cartouche, the interior with pierced gilt grille. 3.5 cm x 2.3 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The gilding is very much intact although lightly rubbed on all edges. It is in good order throughout with no signs of any repairs, restoration or damage.
