A rare original vintage Hornby Series made 0 gauge tinplate ' No.1 Engine Shed '. Litho-printed tin construction, complete with all chimneys. Some 'unofficial' period advertising decals present. Supplied within it's original and correct red box. Generally in very good condition, looks little used. Rare.

Along with a large boxed kit appearing to be for ' 501 And 504 Boilers ' (likely one or the other, not both) which also appears unused, and with instructions. A rare early Tipp & Co / Tippco ( Germany ) made tinplate clockwork Fire Engine toy. Litho-printed red and yellow tin construction, with a fixed-key clockwork motor (working order). Fitted with ' Dunlop Cord ' tinplate wheels, complete with adjustable ladder to top and hose reel to rear. Two Litho-printed Firemen seated to the cab. Full working order, and generally in wonderful condition for it's age. Measures approx; 35cm long.
An incredible large ' live steam ' ' Workshop ' layout - entirely assembled by the vendor. The layout features a large central ' Engine Shed ' in which sits a Wilesco D16 ' Dampfmaschine ' stationary engine, which powers the layouts either side. To the right hand side is a scratch built ' Workshop ' area which features an array of assorted Mamod / Wilesco ' machines ' - including buffer wheels, metal workers etc. All neatly painted, and with scale figures added. To the left of the central shed is the ' Garden Workshop ' which features a Mamod Traction Engine, a Mamod SP4 Steam Engine, Mamod Workshop WS1 and other machines. The entire layout has been converted to run on compressed air and comes with the relevant air compressor ( PAT Tested ). The setup can be broken down into sections for ease of transport, and many of the individual components can be removed (are not fixed down) and some of which still retain their original boxes. This layout should be considered 'ready to run' and the vendor would like to speak to the eventual buyer with advice on how to set it up to run correctly etc. A charming and very well made layout.
