An early Victorian silver oblong snuff box by Taylor & Perry, Birmingham 1838, the cover with a shield reserve on an engraved tartan ground, the sides and base with conforming grounds, the interior gilt, 6.5cm (2.5in) long; and a Victorian rectangular card case by Frederick Marson, Birmingham 1869, with an engine turned ground and flower, scroll and line borders to both sides, the front with a belted vacant shield reserve, 8.3cm (3.25in) high, 89g (2.75 oz) gross. A Louis XVI two-colour gold folding pocket knife, Paris 1779, charge and discharge marks for the 'fermier' Jean Baptiste Fouache (1775-1781) and post Revolution marks, the steel blade stamped 'Delaunay', engine turned with a guilloche border and florette terminals, with a gold and a steel blade, 10.3cm (4in) long; in a shagreen case, probably later.
