A WWII despatch riders BSA M20 restoration project, Khaki green. This BSA restoration project has been in the vendor's possession since the early 1970s. It was last ridden by him in 1974 and was subsequently stolen and recovered by the police in the same year. A 1958 BSA A10 Road Rocket, registration number BSJ 129, frame number FA75589, engine number CA10R55220, red. Introduced in 1954 the BSA Road Rocket was advertised as 'undoubtedly the world's greatest motorcycle' and was a development of the previous 650cc Golden Flash. It would remain in production until 1958 when it was replaced by the Super Rocket. A 1980 Kawasaki Z900, registration number GHT 108W, engine number ZE1535226, green. This Z900 has been rebuilt by a previous owner with a Z1000 frame in 1980. It has been previously registered as GCM 48V and also on a private plate prior to receiving the current registration. This now iconic super bike is finished in period green, has twin front disc brakes and an after market four into one exhaust system. A 1960 Norton Dominator 99 café racer, registration number 715 UYL, silver. During the 1950s and 60s young enthusiasts were modifying production bikes with clip on handlebars, rear sets, engine tweaks and other personal touches to emulate the GP bikes of the day. They became known as café racers after the locations these 'Ton-Up Boys' hung out. This example is fitted with all the usual goodies including rear sets, clip ons, a single bump seat and Manx style petrol tank. Having formed part of a private collection the motorcycle is now only for sale due to the vendor rationalising his collection. A 1947 Triumph TRW 500 Mk I, registration number UAM 323, frame number 6065NA, engine number TRW6181E2806, blue. Triumph's 500 side valve twin was designed for military use during WWII. Initial design work was started by Burt Hopwood in 1942 for use by despatch couriers, staff and convoy escort and military police security work. This example has been owned by the VMCC club member since 2009 and has been used regularly on club runs. From information supplied by the VMCC, it can be verified that the frame was sent to the Ministry of Supply on 23rd April 1951 and the engine on 8th May 1951. A 1952 BSA A10 Gold Flash, registration number OHW 290, silver. This two owner from new Gold Flash has been stored by the vendor. He acquired the BSA from the first owner a Mr Cedric Graham Cox, from Claverham, Bristol in 2010. The BSAs rebuild was subsequently finished in the summer of 2015. During the rebuild the BSA was resprayed, the engine was stripped and found to be in good condition so was reassembled with new gaskets, the wheels were rebuilt with new rims and spokes, the exhausts were replaced, the seat was recovered and a new horn and battery were fitted. Since the rebuild the BSA has only had a few shake down miles and will still require further running in by the next owner. V5C, MOT and tax exempt See illustration
A pre 65 BSA B40 twin shock scrambler. This pre 65 scrambler has been modified and well maintained by the garage proprietor vendor. He has competed the BSA in various club and national events including Red Marley. The BSA is currently running on methanol and is fitted with a CZ front wheel, Aviary products swing arm, Beta front forks, and Boyer total loss ignition. The engine was rebuilt by HRC, has a high compression twin plug cylinder head and B44 crank case covers. No accompanying paperwork See illustration
A 1975 Triumph Bonneville T140V, registration number KND 375N, frame number T140VPP71174, engine number T140V EK61544, maroon and black. From 1972 the Bonneville went into its final phase of development and featured the larger 750cc engine with the new ten stud head, Triplex primary chain, five speed gearbox and front disc brake. This example, one of the last right hand drive gear change models, was restored by a previous owner. The Bonneville is offered for auction with a Triumph Owner's Club Dating Certificate and its last expired MOT (December 2015) which it passed without any advisories. V5C, no MOT See illustration
A 1997 Ducati 600 SS, registration number R536 KFW, frame number ZDM 600S00415, engine number 015023, Rosso red. With 7,500 miles from new, this beautifully presented middleweight Ducati has been cherished by its previous and current owner. The mileage can be verified by a continuous run of MOTs and a comprehensive (mostly Ducati dealer) history. From the last MOT it can be seen that the motorcycle has covered very few miles in the last few years. A 1979 Yamaha DT175 MX, registration number BAM 98V, frame number 2K4017184, engine number 2K417184, white and blue. This particular DT175 has been rebuilt by the vendor to a good standard, including the engine which has new piston rings and main bearings, been rebored and all seals have been replaced, the clutch plates have also been replaced and the engine still requires running in. A 1955 Triumph Tiger Cub T20, registration number YHA 217, engine number T15766, engine number T2015766, black/blue. This matching numbers T20 was despatched from the factory on 17th June 1955 to the supplying dealer Chas E Cope of Birmingham. It was purchased by the VMCC vendor as a basket case and has been restored by him to a high standard. A 1977 Mototrans Ducatti 250 Strada 250 café racer, registration number UOD 961R, frame number MD42499, engine number MD250 402492, red. Mototrans built Ducatti singles under license in Spain in various configurations, from 175cc to 350cc. This particular 250 has been rebuilt in café racer style by its engineer owner. Finished in red with a bikini fairing, single seat unit, clip ons, rear sets and alloy rim wheels. The rebuild was constructed with parts purchased from Lacey Ducatti. Since the rebuild the vendor has covered only a few miles attending local motorcycle events. The Ducatti is offered for auction with receipts from the vendor and previous owners, and past MOTs. EXTRA LOT: A 1972 Triumph Trident T150, registration number PGU 873K, black. This Trident was imported from the USA last year and registered in the vendor's name. He advises us that the engine has been rebuilt with new pistons which has bought the capacity up to 860cc. He advises us that there is a slight oil leak and faint smoke from the exhaust which he thinks is piston rings bedding in as there is plenty of compression and the bike is very quick. The Triumph is fitted with Dunstall silencers which he says sound the business. He describes the motorcycle as a good tidy bike for a 44 year old and is only for sale because he cannot get on with the right hand gear change. V5C, MOT to September 2016 See illustration

It features DMW's own version of the Villiers engine with their own pattern head and barrel. The motorcycle now requires recommissioning before taking to the track once again. A 1951 BSA B33 twin shock scrambler restoration project, engine number ZB33 9064, blue and chrome. This twin shock scrambler is in need of full restoration. The scrambler would appear complete and the engine turns over with good compression. Once completed this B33 would be eligible for pre 1965 twin shock events. A 1975 Suzuki GT750, registration number JHU 125N, blue. This 750 Kettle was imported from America in 2011. It has been restored by the vendor with the aim to retain as much originality as possible. The engine was rebuilt with genuine Suzuki parts including new conrods, big end assembly, main bearings, oil seals and rebore. All running gear was renewed as necessary for safety purposes. The paintwork is original and 80% of the chrome work is also as it left the factory. Since the restoration the motorcycle has been rewarded with best unrestored bike at the annual Kettle Club Rally. The vendor informs us that there are a few small marks on the bottom of the tank, apparently this is where a fairing was fitted in the USA. There is a scratch on one wheel rim but it was decided to keep the original wheels as they have the correct squarish profile which new wheels no longer have. The Suzuki is fitted with modern tyres and American bars (slightly higher), and the vendor describing it as a perfect riding position which can be ridden all day. These iconic water cooled screamers are now highly sought after and this bike with its show winning pedigree would be a great addition to any motorcycle collection. A 1976 BMW R75/6, registration number NFW 714P, frame number 4032706, engine number 621141, black. BMW's R75/6 was manufactured for only two years between 1974 and 1976. It features some improvements over its predecessor including a five speed gearbox and front disc brake. This example has seen very little use in recent years as can be seen from the MOTs on file, with ***only 35 (not 25) miles*** being added to the odometer since its last MOT certificate was issued (odometer read 63,435 miles on ***14th November 2014 (not 13th November 2015))***. A matching numbers machine which has stainless steel exhausts but is otherwise in very original condition. The BMW is offered for auction with an accompanying history file. A 1988 Norton Classic LE 086, registration number F501 ENV, frame number LE 086, engine number LE 086, silver. The rotary engined Classic was conceived by Norton to be a strictly limited edition model with only 100 being manufactured. The Classic is now one of the most collectable of modern Nortons. This cherished example, with 8,000 miles from new, has formed part of a private collection and was featured in a six page The Classic Motorcycle article. The Norton has had one previous owner and is offered for auction with comprehensive history including all the supplying dealer paperwork and owner's handbooks. A 1972/73 AJS Stormer 410 scrambler, orange. The AJS Stormer was available in three engine sizes 250, 370 and 410cc. They are popular machines in historic scrambling twin shock classes and the Stormer still enjoys a full spares back up from AJS Motorcycles of Andover, from proprietor L Fluff Brown who bought the project rights from the factory in 1974. This particular Stormer 410 has been restored by the vendor with powder coated frame, new tyres and tubes, recovered seat, rechromed fork legs with new oil seals, new levers, throttle and cables, a new exhaust, new chain, new rear suspension units, electronic ignition and the engine has been rebuilt with new piston, oil seals and other components. A 1966 Lambretta 150L Special, registration number DRS 205D, white. This Lambretta has been owned for the last five years by a Lambretta Owner's Club member. During his ownership the scooter has been resprayed and the engine has been overhauled by SW Scooters of Yeovil.
