A traditional Shepherd’s Hut, 19th century and later, (Glenfield & Kennedy of Kilmarnock rolling stock), of typical form with an arched green painted corrugated top and sides, inset with two side windows (double glazed), and an external ‘stable’ door, the interior recently lined with plain cedar planks, fitted with three double sockets, lights switches and lights (including an RCD consumer unit). The base and sides include PIR insulation boards. The hut stands on two Victorian cast and wrought iron and wood axles and four wagon wheels, the front axle articulates and bears a makers plate (indistinct but probably ‘Glenfield Kennedy/ Limited/ Kilmarnock), includes modern steps and removable tow hitch.Internal Dimensions: 3.34 metres long, 2.04 metres wide, 2.10cm highExternal Dimension 3.64 metres (12 foot), 2.3 metres wide, 3.07 metres high (plus 50cm extended canopy)This vehicle has been towed using a 4x4 from clients property to a low loader. It moves quite easily if pushed by hand with several strong backs or using a good Garden Tractor. Electrics are not tested and we would recommend any purchaser has them checked by an electrician. The hut would make a lovely AirBnB, Garden office or extra room, or just somewhere to sit and contemplate with a G&T!Glenfield & Kennedy was a large and important Scottish foundry in Kilmarnock from about 1824. As well as water pumps and hydrants they were a large business that made all sorts of engineering items including a railway engine. Glenfield still exists in Kilmarnock today.Condition reportTRANSPORT NOTE: Browns has its own transport services as part of the business. 1987 Porsche 944 Transmission: automaticMileage:82730The 944 was to feature new styling based upon the Le Mans styled Porsche 924 Carrera GT, along with a brand-new Porsche-designed and developed 2.5 litre, four-cylinder engine. Sales of the 168bhp coupé went through the roof with a massive 26,800 Porsche 944s being produced by the end of 1982. To put this figure into context, the entire Porsche company made just 28,000 cars in 1981. The new Porsche owners were attracted by the stunning looks and presence of the model and in 1985, the 'Lux' coupé arrived with a completely new interior design dominated by a smooth, sweeping oval dashboard. This severed all ties with the 924 and completed the move upmarket for the 944. The dash provided improved ergonomics for the instruments with all useful components and buttons placed close at hand. With so many Porsche 944's manufactured, they were a familiar sight on UK roads. However, it is fair to say that relatively few good examples still exist. This however, represents one such example, which is presented in Arctic White with deep red leather/velour interior. Owned by the vendor for the last two years, unfortunately the history folder, which we are aware was significant has been misplaced. Clearly though inspection of this car confirms it has been a very well cared for example. Some light recommissioning will be carried out prior to the auction and this 944 will also be presented for an MoT test. Offered for sale without reserve this could well prove to be a sound investment.
1963 Austin A35 Transmission: manualMileage:487001951 saw Austin's reply to the Morris Minor, the A30 was launched at the Motor Show of that year. A more cautious design than the Minor, the A30 was nevertheless Austin's first unitary construction car and the first to be powered by the famous A-Series engine. The A30's selling price undercut the Minor's by £10, thanks in part to such cost-cutting features as external door hinges, a solitary rear light, sliding windows and rear brakes operated by a single hydraulic cylinder via a mechanical linkage. A two-door model joined the four-door original in 1953, with van and estate versions following in 1954. The model was updated in 1956 with a wider rear window, remote gear lever and the 948cc engine, becoming the A35. Saloon production ceased on the Mini's arrival in August 1959, though the particularly popular A35 van would live on until 1968.This A35 van was originally registered on 15th May 1963 and presents well with dark green coachwork. This practical classic is offered to auction with a V5C registration document and would make ideal transport and a talking point for a small business or just be used and enjoyed at classic car meetings.
1973 MG B GT Transmission: automaticMileage:69908The MGB was launched in May 1962 to replace the MGA. Introduced as a four-cylinder roadster, a coupé with 2+2 seating was added in 1965 with production continuing until October 1980. The MGB GT sported a ground-breaking design by Pininfarina with the launch of its sporty 'hatchback' style. By combining the sloping rear window with the rear deck lid, the GT offered the utility of a hatchback while retaining the style and shape of a coupé. Acceleration of the GT was slightly slower than that of the Roadster due to its increased weight although top speed was improved by 5mph to 105mph due to better aerodynamics.Originally registered on 16th August 1973, this MGB GT has been owned by the vendor since February 2004. Having been used very sparingly of late, the vendor has decided it is time to sell this automatic transmission example. The car is supplied with a V5C registration document, together with a current MoT test certificate valid until 6th December 2023. We are advised the engine starts and runs well, although the best way to describe this MG would be as a rolling restoration. It is not uncommon for owners to use their car during the summer months, garage them in the winter and carry out any necessary work. These ideal entry level classic cars are relatively simple and can be worked on by a competent DIY mechanic. The MG Owners Club are very helpful and a never-ending supply of parts seem to be available for these cars. This MG is offered for sale without reserve.
2005 Porsche 987 Boxster S Transmission: automaticMileage:97702The first generation Boxster (the 986) was introduced in late 1996 and was powered by a 2.5 litre flat six-cylinder engine, many believe the introduction of the Boxster helped save Porsche from acquisition. It was Porsche's first water-cooled, non-front engine sports car as the Boxster is mid-engine, while the 911 has a rear engine. This layout provided a low centre of gravity, near perfect weight distribution and good handling. In 2000, the new Boxster S variant was introduced with a larger 3.2 litre engine and in 2003, styling and engine output was upgraded on both variants. With prices rising the later 3.2 litre S models with manual gearboxes are becoming increasingly sought-after.This example is presented in silver with a black leather interior and black electrically operated hood. It comes with electric windows, stereo, Tiptronic transmission and it also comes with a nice history which includes all its Porsche manuals and booklets. It has a fully stamped service book which is up to date and shows the car has been well looked after by Porsche specialists on a regular basis, with its current MoT test certificate valid until 19th July 2023. Offered without reserve, this represents a great opportunity for some fun on the roads €“ legally of course!
1964 BRA P-Type Transmission: manualMileage:15248BRA Ltd was formed in 1981 by John Berry and Peter Ibbotson for the purpose of designing, developing and manufacturing a limited number of high-quality reproduction sports car kits styled on famous models of the past but incorporating modern mechanics and safety features. All kits featured professionally engineered jig built, MIG welded steel tube chassis, which do not rely on bodywork for strength. The bodies are very high-quality GRP and the P-Type featured an MGB 1800cc engine and running gear. This example was registered new in 1964 and is believed to have been converted to BRA P-Type specification in 1984. The P-Type was acquired by the current vendor 17 years ago and has been used sparingly throughout his ownership, using it on high days and holidays. Having seen little use in recent years, the P-Type would benefit from light recommissioning but can be enjoyed as is and it runs and drives as you would expect. Accompanying the car are copies of the original BRA brochure, MoT online records and the current UK V5 registration document. Offered without reserve this is a very good opportunity to acquire a rather rare BRA P-Type.Interested parties should note that this example will require recommissioning before use.
1964 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:47611Freshly restyled for 1961, Cadillac continued the trend towards cleaner, less fussy styling but there was still plenty of glitz and glamour about the latest model line-up. Notable features included a new-look full-width grille, boldly sculptured side mouldings and smaller rear fins. All 1961 Cadillacs rode on a 129.5 wheelbase chassis with just one powertrain option, the 390ci, V8 combined with GM's sophisticated Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. Rated at 325hp and fed by a four-barrel Rochester carburettor, the big V8 offered plenty of lazy performance, while power brakes were also standard across the range, retaining the finned rear drums and vacuum-operated parking brake release system introduced the previous season. Lavishly equipped, standard equipment included power steering, an external rear vision mirror, vanity mirror, dual-speed wipers and a choice of no less than eight interior colour combinations. Popular options included power windows, air conditioning, cruise control, power door locking system and six-way power seats. More Americans aspired to own a Cadillac than any other car back in the 1960s and having one parked in the driveway was confirmation you had made it.This imposing Cadillac has been owned by an enthusiastic and knowledgeable vendor since October 2018. Finished in the delightful colour combination of light blue metallic with cream interior, this fabulous car presents well. The paintwork is in good order as is the interior, this car is in good condition given it is 60 years old this year. We are informed that the 6.8 litre (415ci) V8 engine runs well although we are informed the gearbox has a serious oil leak and will require removal and attention. Supplied with a V5C registration document and with summer fast approaching this American classic should prove hugely popular and worth a visit alone.Interested parties should note that the gearbox on this car has a serious oil leak and will require removal in order to repair. We apologise for any mis-representation.
1956 Ford Thames Deluxe 7CWT Van Transmission: manualMileage:4072Launched in 1954 as Fords answer to the success of the Morris Minor Commercial was the 'Thames' 300E which shared its bodyshell and 1,172 cc side valve four-cylinder engine with the Ford Squire estate. The van was offered as both a basic 5CWT model or a 'Deluxe' 7CWT panel van with 356kg of load carrying ability. This 7CWT example benefitted from an earlier restoration and is presented in two-tone brown coachwork which is evocative of its era but is now showing signs of age. Overall, the bodywork appears solid with the brightwork and trim in good order. The cabin is basic and functional and features tan leatherette seats which are protected by plastic seat covers that have a period appeal of their own. An original set of factory mudflaps complete the look. This rare Ford is presented to auction with a V5C registration document and offered without reserve. Given that there are fewer than 50 Thames 300E models known to exist, this must be an ideal opportunity for any Ford enthusiast or a perfect promotional vehicle for a small business.
1998 Bentley Arnage Green Label Transmission: automaticMileage:72198 The Bentley Arnage Green Label was produced between 1999 and 2005. It was part of the Arnage line, which was introduced in 1998 as a replacement for the ageing Bentley Turbo R and Bentley Brooklands models. The Green Label variant was powered by a BMW V8 engine, which provided a smooth and refined driving experience. This engine was a departure from the traditional Bentley engine, which had been used for decades. However, the BMW engine was well-suited for the Arnage and offered ample power and torque. The exterior design of the Arnage Green Label was elegant and understated, with classic Bentley styling cues such as the large grille and round headlamps. The interior was luxurious and featured high-quality materials, including wood, leather, and chrome. Comfort and convenience features were plentiful, with amenities such as heated seats, a premium sound system, and a navigation system.Following Volkswagen's purchase of Bentley Motors from Vickers on 28th July 1998, the late Paul Anthony Wood of the famous Rolls-Royce and Bentley historic restorers, P & A Wood, decided to order as his personal transport one of the new Arnages sporting the wholly new state of the art BMW 4.4 litre engines in place of the, by then, outdated 6.75 litre Rolls-Royce engine. It was Paul Woods' experience and taste in specifying the restrained colours both internally and externally that created the magnificent example on offer today. Originally registered in September 1998, this early Green Label version presents in the subtle colour combination of Meteor metallic coachwork with a Stratos interior. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document, a valid MoT test certificate and the original owners book pack and service book showing 14 service stamps. This stunning Bentley offers extreme luxury for a modest outlay.
1989 Mercedes-Benz 280 GE Transmission: automaticMileage:123484The Mercedes-Benz G-Class or G-Wagon, short for Geländewagen, (cross-country vehicle) is characterised by its boxy styling and body-on-frame construction. It uses three fully locking differentials, one of the few vehicles to have such a feature. The G-Class is still in production and is one of the longest produced Mercedes-Benz in Daimler's history. It was developed as a military vehicle from a suggestion by the Shah of Iran and offered as a civilian version in 1979. The first major refinements were introduced in 1981, including an automatic transmission, air conditioning, an auxiliary fuel tank, protective headlamp grilles and a cable winch. Fuel injection became available in 1982 when the 230 GE was introduced in Turin, along with more comfortable and supportive front seats, auxiliary heating, wider tyres and fender flares. For 1985, differential locks, central door locking and a tachometer become standard. This lovely example is presented in metallic grey with grey cloth interior and is powered by its 2.7 litre six cylinder engine mated to an automatic gearbox. It is an original matching number car with a history file containing service receipts for the last four years and has the original manual. This Mercedes was stored between 2007 and 2019 hence its lovely condition inside and out! The interior is in wonderful original condition even retaining its original dashboard. It comes with a valid MoT test certificate which expires in October 2023. These are great recreation vehicles still suited for the purpose they were built but also look smart and retro for special occasions.

Due to a fault in the speedometer only half of the odometer reading can be read. This BMW 323i is a driving enthusiast's dream, offering a blend of performance, luxury, and style that set it apart in the sports car market of its time. With its timeless design and engaging driving dynamics continue to make it a sought-after classic among BMW enthusiasts today.
1980 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II Transmission: automaticMileage:5613The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II is the epitome of 1970's luxury motoring. The original Silver Shadow was released in 1965 and made way for the vastly improved Shadow II in 1977, which would stay in production until 1980. The Silver Shadow II was known for its silky-smooth ride and powerful V8 engine, which provided plenty of power for the car's substantial size. It also featured a number of advanced features for its time, such as a sophisticated self-levelling suspension system and an air conditioning system which could be operated independently for the driver and front passenger. The Shadow II also gained rack and pinion steering, which vastly improved the handling over its predecessor. The interior of the Silver Shadow II was of course the height of luxury, with the finest wood veneer and leather upholstery. This particular example is something of a time-warp, showing just 5,613 miles and having been cherished in present ownership since 1980. The car was purchased as a virtually brand new car, supplied by Lex Mead in Weybridge, allegedly a cancelled order due to the original purchaser opting for the newly released Silver Spirit instead. The car presents exceedingly well in white with a period correct vinyl roof and brown leather upholstery. For a 43 year old car, the condition is certainly impressive, with just a few minor paint blemishes, all commensurate with the age and originality of the car. The history file contains eight MoT test certificates ranging from 1983 to 2018, showing a steady increase in mileage over the time.A vast majority of the mileage was attained during the early part of the cars' life, a Rolls-Royce service stamp records a mileage of 5,179 miles in May 1986, the service sticker is still present inside the driver's door shut. Following that, we have MoT's in September 1986 at 5,216 miles, October 1988 at 5,269 miles and then March 2000 at 5,276 miles. We then arrive at an invoice dating from May 2005, for work at West Hoathly Rolls-Royce specialists, with an odometer reading of 5,380 miles. The work undertaken was a very thorough service and recommissioning process, which includes drive belts, the invoice totalling £3,233.66. The car was then MoT'd again in June 2011 with 5,490 miles and most recently, in November 2018 with 5,603 miles. The most recent service invoice was also in November 2018, again from West Hoathly, for work on a very thorough service and recommission, the invoice totalling £5,465.33.This Shadow II would be the perfect addition to any Rolls-Royce collection, it is likely one of the lowest mileage examples remaining and has been virtually a single owner car its whole life. Don't miss the opportunity to purchase a highly original, remarkably low mileage example of one of the greatest status symbols of the 1970's.
1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 Transmission: manualMileage:124486The 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 is a classic sports car that was produced from 1984 to 1989. It is a rear-engine, rear-wheel-drive vehicle with a 3.2-litre naturally aspirated flat-six engine that produces 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The Carrera 3.2 is available in coupe, cabriolet, and Targa body styles, and it features a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. Some notable features of the 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 include its iconic styling, excellent handling, and precise steering. It also has a comfortable and well-appointed interior with supportive seats and high-quality materials. A well-maintained Carrera 3.2 can provide a thrilling driving experience and hold its value well as a classic sports car. This fabulous example is presented in Guards Red with black leather interior both of which are in excellent condition throughout. It comes with its original book pack with a service book containing 17 stamps, drivers manual plus a large folder of historical invoices, electric windows, CD player, Bluetooth, height adjustable driver's and passenger seat, folding rear seats and electric sunroof. This car has recently undergone a major service including valve clearances, four rebuilt brake calipers and new brake fluid. An inspection of the complete exhaust system was carried out which included the inspection of heat exchangers and replacement of exhaust gaskets, new gear lever bushes, nuts, studs, a thorough clean of the underside of the car and carry out rust proofing and Waxoyl treatment. The fastidious previous owner also renewed various parts over the last few years which have included bumper pads, bumper bellows, rubber seals, number plate lights, rear lights, bonnet gas struts, engine oil seals, all brake pipes and hoses, brake pads and discs on all four corners, front and rear brake disc back plates, four wheel bearings, all front and rear suspension bushes including rear anti roll bar inner and outer bushes with covers, rear ARB drop links, 930 Turbo steering arm upgrade and many more €¦ The car also had new Bilstein club sport suspension fitted and freshly rebuilt 915 five-speed gearbox with factory short shift, also remote central locking with new CAT 1 alarm system/immobilizer. This 911 really is in superb condition and does need to be seen to be fully appreciated.Interested parties should note that contrary to what is written in the catalogue and what is on our website, the engine has not had a top end rebuild.

1994 Jaguar XJS Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:67500The Jaguar XJS Convertible, which first appeared in 1988, was considerably more than just a coupé with the roof removed. The earlier 'T'-top cabriolet paved the way as the first open Jaguar since the demise of the E-Type in 1975 but this was to be the first full convertible and a strengthened sub-frame was employed in order to alleviate scuttle shake. Retaining the roomy cockpit space of the coupé, the new convertible naturally boasted all the expected Jaguar refinements as standard making for a very fine, open grand touring car. The XJS was continuously developed during its 20 year production life. Today, this model is very much establishing itself as a most worthy latter day classic with good examples being eagerly sought by connoisseurs of the marque. This superb example of this luxurious sports convertible is presented in Regency Red with a cream leather interior, which was re-upholstered in 2020 to a very high standard. The car comes with a black electrically operated hood and both the interior and exterior are in absolutely superb condition. The history file is comprehensive with 19 service stamps and accompanied by two keys. Our vendor has treated the car to ceramic Pro-paint protection. Powered by the smooth six-cylinder 4.0 litre engine mated to an automatic gearbox, this British sports car still looks as fabulous as it did the day it was manufactured.
1963 Land Rover Series IIA Transmission: manualMileage:72490The 1963 Land Rover Series IIA was a versatile and rugged off-road vehicle produced from 1961 to 1971. It was available in a variety of body styles including a two-door pick-up truck, a three door station wagon, and a two door utility vehicle. It was powered by a 2.25 litre four-cylinder engine that produced 72bhp and 114 lb-ft of torque. The 1963 Land Rover Series IIA had a number of updates over its predecessor, including improved seating and larger windows. It also had a new gearbox, a revised dashboard, and a more powerful engine. It was known for its excellent off-road capabilities, thanks to its sturdy construction, high ground clearance, and four-wheel drive system. It was commonly used by farmers, military organisations, and adventurers alike. This superb example of this iconic British four-wheel drive model has been the subject of a major rebuild and is presented in dark green with a tan interior. It was declared manufactured in 1963 and served in the Ministry of Defence until 1971 when it was then UK registered. It has recently been rebuilt on a galvanised chassis with new panel, Exmoor trim tan seats, new canvas roof covering and frame. Its original steering wheel has also been refurbished and covered in the same tan material to match the seats and stitching. This is probably one of the finest examples of this Land Rover model we have seen with the underside looking as good as the rest of the vehicle. Today, the 1963 Land Rover Series IIA is a sought-after classic car and is highly prized by collectors and enthusiasts for its rugged charm and timeless design.
1987 BMW 325i Sport M-tech 1 Transmission: manualMileage:121407The BMW E30 325i Sport was manufactured between 1986 and 1991. It is best known for its sporty looks, powerful engine, and excellent driving dynamics. The E30 325i Sport is a rear-wheel-drive car, which features a 2.5 litre inline-six engine, producing 161bhp and 167 lb-ft of torque. The engine was paired with either a five-speed Getrag manual transmission or a four-speed automatic unit, both providing a smooth and responsive driving experience. The E30 325i Sport was also equipped with sport suspension, a limited-slip differential, and larger brakes, which made the car one of the very best driver's cars of its time. This particular example presents superbly in Diamondschwartz with a two-tone grey houndstooth and black cloth interior. With just four owners from new, this car has clearly been cherished throughout its life and looks as though it has never been repainted. Small details such as the VIN number on the scuttle panel are still very clear to see, something which can often be lost when a car is repainted and the pinstripes down the flanks of the car look to be original. The service history for this car is particularly impressive, with 22 stamps in the service book and further invoices for servicing. The most recent service stamp is showing as a BMW Inspection II and cambelt service at ETA Motorsport in October 2019. The car is currently fitted with a later M-tech 2 steering wheel, but the original M-tech 1 steering wheel is supplied with the car, along with all owner's manuals and books. These cars are very rarely available, and even less so with such a comprehensive service record. Interest has really piqued in these cars in recent years, with some even leaning towards the 325i Sport instead of the M3, due to its silky smooth straight-six engine opposed to the M3's tamer four-cylinder offering. This example ticks all the boxes and is estimated very reasonably, offering much more character than many of the latest BMW M departments offerings.
1976 Cadillac Eldorado Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:65290The Eldorado was the top of the Cadillac tree, the ultimate 'personal luxury car' a statement of your success and standing. The 1976 Eldorado featured four-wheel disc brakes and a few very minor styling changes over the 1975 models. It was the last year for the 500 cubic inch V8 (8.2 litres), the biggest production engine fitted to any car until the Dodge Viper of the late 90s and it was to be the case that 1976 was the last year for American-made convertibles. The Detroit big three expected the US government to legislate to stop convertible production, so all rag-tops ended in, or by, 1976. The government did not follow through with such legislation, but American manufacturers did not offer a home-grown convertible again until the mid '80s. Because of this sales were really strong for the 1976 Eldorado. In fact, Cadillac could have sold more but they ran out of roof frames and mechanisms. Many of these cars sold at a premium over list price as buyers fought to get hold of the last American convertible.Despite their popularity when new, finding a good example these days, for sensible money is easier said than done. In the US today, the best, low mileage examples are fetching $50,000 plus which is not good news for fans in the UK with today's exchange rate. Cosmetically the car offered here was restored circa 15 years ago and it has held up very well. The car was fully painted in a shade that is very close to the Cadillac offering of Dunbarton Green. A new white leather interior, new green carpets and new white vinyl top was installed at the same time. The vendor and predecessor profess to spending a small fortune on the car, but a labour of love, indeed the previous owner stated 'it is terrific to drive, great in traffic, great at speed, no problem in hot weather and the engine is so quiet that, at idle, you would be forgiven for thinking that it's not running. But, on the motorway is where this Eldorado comes into its own €“ it flies!'Below are details of the mechanical overhaul which took part between 2018-2020;Upgraded, re-cored radiator,New water pump,New battery,Distributor - new ignition components,Brakes:All calipers blasted clean, repainted and rebuilt with new sealsNew pads and discs all round (four-wheel discs standard on 1976 Eldo)New metal brake pipes and flexi hosesNew brake fluidFront hubs stripped, new lower ball joints fitted, new drive shaft boots both side, both CV joints greasedFront wheel bearings replaced/rebuiltRear wheel bearings repackedNew spark plugsOil and filter changeRebuilt alternatorFront indicators - both lamp units cleaned of corrosion, new bulbs, new flasher canNew off side head lamp unit.Four road wheels bead blasted, painted, four new white wall tyres (less than 1500 miles on tyres), wheels balancedRebuilt motor for power trunk pull downVacuum compressor rebuiltRebuilt rear suspension self-levelling unitHeads removedStrip, decoke, blast clean and de-carbon all valvesNew face valves, cut valve seatsBronze guide liners installedNew exhaust manifold gaskets and boltsRebuilt convertible top motor.Rebuilt motor for power drivers seat.
1979 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II Transmission: automaticMileage:87145The Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II is the epitome of 1970's luxury motoring. This particular example is presented in a magnificent colour combination of Ivory paintwork with an orange leather interior, there can't have been many in this combination from the factory. The paintwork is in excellent condition and the interior has a lovely original feel to it. Our vendor purchased the car in December 2021, with the car needing a bit of mechanical recommissioning. The car was sent to Gordon Dale Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialists, who possibly know these cars better than anyone else. Invoices from Gordon Dale (formerly Frank Dale & Stepsons) total £9,917.78, for recommissioning on just about all of the braking system, a thorough mechanical service and replacement of many rubber seals, bushes and so on. The result is a car which is now ready to take daily driver duties in its stride. The car also comes with invoices totalling £3,846.20 for various parts, mainly from Flying Spares. Recent parts to note are a new front rubber bumper, as the old one was showing its age, and a reconditioned steering rack. This Shadow has made up part of our vendors private collection and is now being sold due to another Rolls-Royce joining the garage. If you are on the hunt for a Shadow II which has been properly cared for and you quite fancy a colour combination which will start conversations, then look no further.
2003 Mercedes-Benz SL55 AMG Transmission: automaticMileage:96600The fifth generation of the legendary SL series convertible sports cars was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof, a first for the SL class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997. The flagship models were built by AMG in the form of the SL55 and SL65, both highly tuned versions of the SL500 and SL600 respectively. The SL55 was powered by a mighty supercharged version of the 5.5 litre, V8 which produced 493bhp and achieved 0-62 in 4.7 seconds and on to a top speed of 155mph (governed). In theory, the SL55 could reach 190mph if the car was derestricted but, for many, the acceleration and top speed is impressive enough in its standard form! The Mercedes-Benz SL55 is no shrinking violet but the previous owner of this car was not satisfied and wanted to attract even more attention. A full wide bodykit was used to convert the SL55 AMG to a recreation of the later Brabus SL65 Black Edition with the help of a professional ADAIR kit. Subject to a light Category D insurance loss in 2013, ADAIR used this opportunity to facelift the headlights and expertly replace the panels with the wide body kit. The car today looks every part its £280,000 plus sibling, a real wolf in wolfs clothing and is described by our vendor as 'an absolute goliath of a car'. We are informed that the engine has been breathed on with the intention of achieving 600bhp, however until dyno tested this is still an unknown. The incredible sound from the exhaust is enough to make the hairs on the back of your neck stand on end making this an exciting car to drive and own. We are informed only one genuine SL65 Brabus Black Edition car exists and is held in a collection owned by the Dubai Royal family. An AMG supercharged V8 with the roof down is a perfect motoring scenario and so desired by fans of the SL Mercedes-Benz. Offered with a MoT test certificate, this stunning SL will turn heads at every opportunity and will be sure to do the same when offered at auction. The vendor states this the most amazing vehicle he has ever driven, the power and sound make this vehicle truly a one-off beast.
Lot 138 - 1961 Daimler SP250 Dart ‘B’ Specification Transmission: manualMileage:88982The controversially styled Daimler Dart was introduced at the New York Motor Show in 1959 and had its European debut at the 1959 Earls Court Motor Show; the Dart name was soon dropped after the threat of legal action from Chrysler who had a car of that name within their Dodge division. Thereafter this new sports car was known as the Daimler SP250. Power was provided by the 2.5 litre, Edward Turner designed, V8 that soon became revered for the smoothness in its power delivery with 140bhp on tap. Independent double wishbone front suspension at the front and half elliptical springs at the rear with a live rear axle kept the car on the road with stopping power supplied by hydraulic disc brakes on all four corners. The coachwork was constructed with glass reinforced plastic providing a tough, strong and lightweight shape that enhanced performance with exciting and non-traditional looks. The 120mph plus capability was recognised by the police and they were soon being used as high-speed chase cars. 505 WPU is reported to have undergone restoration in the early 1990's with the body being stripped and repainted in Navy Blue, the interior tidied up and the engine rebuilt. Any other mechanical work required was also reportedly done at the same time. The supplied purchase receipt to the buyer Dr. Jacobs in September 1993, shows the beginning of much care lavished on the car by the Doctor under his ownership, clearly keen to maintain its restored condition. There are many receipts from Classic Automobile Repair Services of Wandsworth, London, under Dr. Jacobs ownership, detailing the care that was given to the car. Amongst these items was the inclusion of fitting a Kenlow fan to aid with engine temperature regulation in London traffic as well as other works such as carburettor rebuilds and steering strip and rebuild. The vendor reports the car to run and drive extremely well, attracting admiring looks wherever it goes.Supplied with the UK V5C registration document and history file. With a desirable low ownership, this rare, early 'B' specification SP250 offers great usability and looks to match.
1960 Ford Anglia Transmission: automaticMileage:33835When the Anglia 105E was introduced in September 1959, Ford switched to an overhead valve engine for its smallest family saloon. The 997cc four-cylinder unit proved to be a very reliable unit and lent itself to being tuned, hence the success in Formula Three and Formula Junior. The suspension retained the McPherson strut at the front and live rear axle, however the gearbox was uprated to a four-speed unit helping the Anglia to a top speed of 73mph. Styling of the 105E was interesting with an €˜open mouth€™ grille and reverse sloping rear window. The Anglia was an outstanding success for Ford, selling more than a million units until production ended in 1967.This Anglia was first registered on 1st July 1960 and the car is in good order throughout following a comprehensive restoration. Contained within the history file there is a photographic account of the restoration. We are informed the car starts on the button and drives with no known faults, this 105E certainly evokes memories to men of a certain age. Supplied with a V5C registration document, showing four former keepers and offered for sale without reserve, this Ford Anglia 997 is sure to appeal to classic Ford collectors.
2000 Rover Mini Cooper Sport Transmission: manualMileage:19961The Mini represents the most enduring of designs and occupies an unbroken thread from the early sixties right through to the present day. Produced in a number of different variants, including a strong showing in motorsport, the Mini Cooper Sport had a front-mounted radiator, driver's airbag, taller final drive ratio and was only produced from March to October 2000. It could be distinguished from earlier 'Sport Pack' equipped Coopers by its Platinum (rather than OEW) roof and bonnet stripes. The model's widened wheel arches housed 13 x 6 alloy wheels while inside it featured an alloy dashboard as well as alloy window winders, door pulls and door handles.Presented in good order throughout with just four former keepers from new and some minor corrosion around the 1275cc engine bay, it benefits from new inner and outer sills fitted in 2017. It was also ‘Waxoyled’ at the same time and reportedly starts and drives very well with a strong gearboxIt was also ‘Waxoyled’ at the same time and reportedly starts and drives very well with a strong gearbox. It is fitted with Yokohama tyres and both brightwork and lighting (lights and spotlights) are very good. Supplied with service records and MoT test certificates dating back to 2005, it also comes with both sets of original keys and handbooks and has been used sparingly since the present vendor purchased the car in 2019. It has been stored in a garage since the purchase and it comes with a MoT test certificate which expires in April 2024.
1986 Land Rover Defender 90 V8 Transmission: manualMileage:112937The Land Rover 90 V8 is equipped with a 3.5 litre V8 engine that provides an impressive amount of power, making it ideal for off-road adventures and heavy-duty work. It features a boxy and utilitarian design with a tough chassis and four-wheel drive system that made it capable of traversing difficult terrain. Today, the 1986 Land Rover 90 V8 is a highly sought-after classic car for those who appreciate its iconic design and legendary off-road capability. This rare V8 example was registered in May 1986 and is painted in bright metallic blue with a contrasting black roof and black wheel arches. This look is enhanced with larger alloy wheels and all terrain tyres. It is fitted with side steps, a rubber boot liner and has tinted glass side panels. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and without reserve, this is an opportunity to purchase one of the rarest models of this iconic four-wheel drive.Interested parties should note that this car will require attention to pass an MoT test certificate. Full details are in the history file.
1984 Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit Transmission: automaticMileage:47487The Silver Spirit was unveiled in October 1980 as a replacement for the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow. Direct comparison, however, showed only small differences. The new models had slightly grown in length and width; height had been cut a little, although the styling was more modern than that of its predecessor. The interior was dominated by the expected combination of fine wood and sumptuous leather. The Silver Spirit was similar mechanically to the Silver Shadow, benefiting from the superb Rolls-Royce 6,750cc, V8 and sharing many mechanical characteristics of the model it replaced. The instruments were supplemented by digital units which gave such information as the time, elapsed driving time and external temperature and were the first Rolls-Royce to be fitted with a retractable Spirit of Ecstasy. This impressive Rolls-Royce was ordered by franchised dealer Dutton-Forshaw as their demonstrator vehicle. It was registered by them in December 1984 and presents both stylishly and subtlety in special order Ice Green coachwork with a beige leather interior. This look is enhanced with contrasting carpets, gold coachlines and whitewall tyres. The car was purchased by its late owner in 2010. He was a dedicated car enthusiast and owned vehicles by some of the world's most famous marques including Aston Martin, Porsche and Maserati but we are informed that his favourite by far was this Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit which was used for 'high days and holidays'. We are also informed that during his tenure the servicing for the car was done in house at his company. The cars bodywork and interior trim are both in tremendous condition as is the woodwork which appears unmarked. The carpets are unworn, and the car is complemented with a full set of sheepskin over rugs and a complete and unused toolkit. The boot area is unmarked and the engine bay is extremely clean and tidy. This 'time warp' Rolls-Royce is offered to auction with an impressive file of paperwork which includes factory specification and build sheets, an original service book with 15 dealer stamps, an original owner's handbook pack, 28 previous MoT test certificates, a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until February 2024. This car has only become available owing to the death of the owner and is offered without reserve.
1967 Mercedes-Benz 280 S Transmission: automaticMileage:28415Premiered at the Frankfurt Auto Show in 1965, the initial model line-up of the W108 consisted of the 250S, 250SE, and 300SE, as well as a sole W109, the 300SEL. Engines for the new car were carried over from the previous generation, but enlarged and refined. The 250S was fitted with a 2496 cc straight-six M108 engine delivering 130bhp which accelerated the car to 62mph in 13 seconds and gave a top speed of 113mph but was superseded by a 2.8 litre M130, the ultimate variant of the mid-sized six, obtained by increasing the bore by 4.5mm. The result was the maximum practical enlargement of the engine. Approximately 130,000 of the 250 S/SE models were built during the first two years of the W108/109's existence. This very well-presented example of the 280S Mercedes-Benz saloon originally resided in Greece in the custody of a very successful Greek businessman and as such has benefitted from upgrades and the warmer dry climate; hence its condition today. As ascertained from the Mercedes-Benz dating certificate, the car was originally registered in Germany in 1967 and was imported to the UK in 2018 by DD Classics for a collector in Windsor, Berkshire where, apart from an owner change to a lady over the river in Eton, the car has remained since. Housed in an underground carpark, this car is described as rust free, and the paintwork appears unblemished. The interior trim is in wonderful order with the woodwork as new and upgraded leather trim even on the dashboard provides a very opulent feel. Boasting the 2.8 litre engine and optional LPG fuel system, should you wish to use it, coupled to air conditioning, this is a very good example of a collectable Mercedes-Benz and is offered with a V5C registration document.
1972 Triumph GT6 Mk. III Transmission: manualMileage:44021Designed by Giovanni Micheloti, famed for the creation of many Italian exotics such as Ferrari and Maserati, Micheloti first penned the GT4 prototype, a Spitfire 4/Mk. I based GT car in 1963 utilising the Spitfires 1147cc engine. The styling of the car was met with great reviews, however the additional weight associated with the coupé shell meant that plans to put the car into production where shelved. In 1964 Triumph utilised the styling to create glass-fibre moulds which when grafted onto the race developed Spitfire 4/Mk. I led to great success, finishing 13th overall and first in Class at the 1965 24 Hours of Le Mans. Triumph decided to revisit the GT4 idea and in replacing the under-powered Spitfire 4 engine with the more powerful Triumph Vitesse two litre, six-cylinder engine, the GT6 was born and production of the Mk. I GT6 commenced in July 1966. During the course of the next four years the GT6 received a number of styling changes and mechanical developments, dramatically improving the handling and in October 1970 the GT6 Mk. III was introduced with a total of 13,042 units being built before the end of production in December 1973.Originally sold in August 1972, this sensational matching numbers Triumph GT6 looks utterly resplendent finished in the original Saffron Yellow (code 54) with a contrasting black interior (code 11) and features the glorious two litre straight-six engine which sends power to the rear wheels via the factory optioned four speed 'overdrive' gearbox. Purchased by a previous owner in circa 2012 he set about transforming the GT6 into the show-stopping example we are proudly offering, with works being carried out over a four-year period. The bodywork restoration was entrusted to DMS, Northampton who carried out a complete body-off chassis strip down and body rebuild, followed by a full respray. The paint finish is mirror glass smooth, with a reflection to match and is extended to the underside too which received the additional benefit of correct underbody anti-corrosion protection! Carrying on the works, DMS finished the chassis in Saffron Yellow too, giving a 'cleaner' underbody appearance. All mechanical/electrical components were stripped, checked for wear and either restored or replaced. The engine has been updated to run on unleaded fuel and the car also benefits from an electronic ignition conversion. The interior was completely stripped and then fitted with new seat covers, carpets, roof lining and dashboard, all of which were specialist sourced and to the correct factory specification. Last of all, a Webasto Hollandia tilt/lift-out sunroof was fitted. This is a simply stunning example of an increasingly desirable Triumph and absolutely fit for any collection worldwide.
2003 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Coupé Transmission: automaticMileage:67000Using modern build techniques, drag coefficients and powered by a state-of-the-art, all-alloy V12 engine, this was a 'first' for a production Aston Martin and this modern masterpiece was subjected to more testing and development work than any of the marque's previous models.Equipped with all-round independent suspension, and either a new six-speed manual or ZF five-speed automatic with manually selectable ratios, as this example is equipped with, indeed the 15 diameter wheels too were unique to the Vantage which also featured cross-drilled and ventilated Brembo disc brakes and equipped with ABS.With just 67,000 miles covered from new, this has been cherished by the vendor since he acquired it some two years ago with trips to Le Mans and other GT-style events. When not used, it is stored, garaged, and under a (supplied) cover.Other noteworthy features include a mesh grille and new tyres on unmarked alloy wheels. Finished in Solent Silver with a magnolia leather interior piped in blue, the overall condition is extremely good and is said to drive beautifully. It is offered with a comprehensive service history as can be seen on the Historics website, its original leather handbook, an MoT test certificate valid for a full year and a V5C registration document Service history2003 Pre-delivery inspection Lancaster Aston Martin2002 1,329 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2003 7,306 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2004 10,083 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2004 12,507 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2005 14,648 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2006 17,666 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2006 20,992 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2007 24,250 miles Lancaster Aston Martin2008 29,514 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2009 34,598 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2010 40,973 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2011 47,217 miles Broughtons Aston Martin2012 52,513 miles McGurk Performance Cars2013 55,925 miles McGurk Performance Cars2014 60,446 miles McGurk Performance Cars2015 61,764 miles McGurk Performance Cars2016 unconfirmed miles McGurk Performance Cars2017 63,621 miles McGurk Performance Cars2018 65,077 miles McGurk Performance Cars2019 65,290 miles McGurk Performance Cars
1969 Daimler V8 250 Transmission: automaticMileage:103758The Daimler V8 250 was produced by Daimler from 1962 to 1969. It is known for its elegant design, luxurious interior and powerful engine. The V8 250 is powered by a 2.5-litre V8 engine, producing 140bhp and 155 lb-ft of torque, which provides a far smoother and more refined driving experience to its shoutier Jaguar cousin. The V8 250 was a popular choice among luxury car buyers in the 1960s due to its comfortable ride and high-end features, such as leather seats, wood trim, and electric windows. Its classic design, with its iconic fluted grille and sleek lines, has aged well and is still highly regarded by classic car enthusiasts. This particular example presents in superb order with a good shine to the paint and chromework and still retains its charming original interior. The engine was rebuilt in 2000 at 91,742 miles, meaning the car has only covered around 12,000 miles since. Our vendor reports the car drives exactly as it should and drove the car 60 miles to the sale. The main party piece of this car is the fitment of power assisted rack and pinion steering in 2019, which really enhances the handling and driveability of the car. Power steering is an expensive upgrade on these cars, costing something in the region of £3,000 today, so is sure to be a very welcome addition for the next owner. Another very welcome addition is electronic ignition, and a subtle stainless steel exhaust, which provides a lovely sound without being too loud when cruising at moderate speeds. This Daimler is ready to be enjoyed this summer as it is and is being offered without reserve.Guide price: £10,000 - £15,000
1969 Triumph TR6 Transmission: manualMileage:95758The Triumph TR6 was produced between 1969 and 1976 and, by the time production ended in July 1976, it was the best-seller of the TR range. In total 94,619 TR6s were manufactured of which 86,249 were sold overseas and only 8,370 were sold in the UK. The bodywork closely resembled that of the previous model, the TR5, but the front and rear were squared off and all TR6s featured inline six-cylinder engines. The TR6 featured a four-speed manual transmission and an optional equipment overdrive unit was a desirable feature because it gave drivers close-gearing for spirited driving whilst remaining an excellent touring car for open motorways. It also featured independent rear suspension, rack and pinion steering, 15 wheels and tyres, pile carpet on the floors and boot, bucket seats and a full complement of instrumentation. Braking was provided by disc brakes at the front and rear drum brakes. This lovely left hand drive example is presented in red with a black interior and was imported into the UK from the USA in 2020. It was then the subject of a body and mechanical restoration in 2004, less than 20,000 miles ago. The engine was completely rebuilt, new Weber carburettors and linkages were fitted along with a new clutch and water pump. A replacement boot floor and rear wing was fitted as well as the front wings and these were then also resprayed. The history file contains invoices and a paper trail of history which goes back to 2000 as well as importation documents from HMRC and DVLA. This is a very tidy example with a good history that is priced reasonably.
2012 Land Rover Defender Double Cab Pick-up Transmission: manualMileage:20000The original Land Rover Series began production in Solihull in 1948 and until its decades-long production run ended in 2016, more than two million Defenders were produced, becoming a British automotive icon. Since production ceased, the revered model has been in increased demand from both collectors and those willing to use this tough, utilitarian vehicle in the way it was designed for. It was only in 1989, following the introduction of the all-new Land Rover Discovery, that the Defender received its own name. This was not only a marketing exercise; the new Defender received a raft of upgrades, along with a new turbo diesel engine that brought useful increases in power, torque, and fuel economy when compared with the old, normally aspirated diesel it was based on. Often boasting large 'Defender' logos, the Land Rover went through a continuous process of development, gaining disc brakes and power-assisted steering as standard during the 1990s, together with a host of other improvements. This beautiful unmodified Land Rover was originally supplied 28th September 2012. The specification of this double cab includes side steps and a rear pick-up cover, alarm system, rubber mud flaps, under ride protection bar, upgraded steel wheels and new tyres and tow ball with drop plates and electrics. Presented in Keswick Green, this example boasts the three-seat rear bench making this a genuine five-seater with the pick-up rear. Very well maintained with a current MoT test certificate with no advisories, indeed a check online shows us that this car has never had a single advisory which is testament to care of ownership from its two previous keepers and our vendor. A six-speed manual gearbox powers the 2.2 TDCi engine and we are advised this low mileage example drives as good as it looks, it has clearly been a well-cared for example. Supplied with a V5C registration document and recently installed side steps. These robust, go anywhere vehicles have become increasingly desirable in recent years and this great utilitarian vehicle is sure to be one that catches the eye.
2005 Jaguar XJR Transmission: automaticMileage:72718This superb looking example was originally delivered to Japan and was acquired by the current vendor in 2017. This Jaguar was colour changed to match the original red and black leather interior and a legendry Wald 'Black Bison' body styling kit was fitted by the current owner. Complemented with a tuned exhaust to make the most of the V8 engine, without making it too loud. The Jaguar has been fitted with X358 door mirrors and comes with a Piano Black dashboard and trim. Also fitted to the car is a UK specified Sat Nav, UK instruments, radio code, and owner's manual. Offered with two keys and a separate boot key, this Jaguar also comes with a Parrot phone kit, tools, and an unused spare tyre. The vendor reports that this XJR drives well and is fitted with Yokohama tyres which are in good condition all round.Showing 70,000 miles on the odometer, this Jaguar is offered with a history file containing a service history booklet with stamps since the current vendors ownership, having been regularly serviced and maintained by Jaguar Land Rover in Leatherhead, Surrey. Also included are previous MoT records, the current V5C registration document, and an MoT test certificate valid until October 2023. The private registration number is included in the sale and so is the original boot lid, front and rear bumpers and side skirts, which must be collected from Oxshott, Surrey following the auction.
2011 Bentley Mulsanne Transmission: automaticMileage:68935The Bentley Mulsanne is named after the Mulsanne Straight of the Le Mans racing circuit, Bentley cars having won six victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past. Bentley brought back the Mulsanne nameplate that was last used in 1992; this model replaces the hugely successful Arnage and was unveiled at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2009. In keeping with the Arnage, the Mulsanne retained the 6750cc, V8 power unit, the engine was lighter and featured cylinder de-activation and variable cam phasing to improve fuel efficiency. It was the first flagship car to be independently designed by Bentley Motors in nearly 80 years; the last being W.O. Bentley's 8 litre model in 1930.Originally registered on 1st October 2011 this 2012 model year Bentley is finished in the colour combination of Onyx with Beluga leather interior. Already a very well-appointed car, this example comes with TV screens to the rear headrests offering an even more relaxed way to be driven. Supplied by Bentley Birmingham, this Mulsanne has been exceptionally well cared for with 11 stamps in the service book, nine of them at Bentley main dealers and the last two by respected specialist Bell Sport & Classic Ltd. The quality of ride offered by these exceptional cars has to be experienced to be appreciated, the driving experience of such a luxury car is like no other and the sumptuous interior is supremely comfortable. Additional extras on this car include a veneered iPod drawer, adaptive cruise control and rear view camera. The cost when new was Bentley Mulsanne was £197,354.17. In unmarked condition this splendid example is offered for sale with a V5C registration document a current MoT test certificate and the original service books.
1958 Austin Healey 100 / 6 Transmission: manualMileage:2693The Austin Healey 100 was built between 1953 and 1956 by the British Motor Corporation. It was developed by Donald Healey to be produced in-house by Healey's small car company in Warwick and based on Austin A90 Atlantic mechanicals. Healey built a single 'Healey Hundred' for the 1952 London Motor Show and the design impressed Leonard Lord, Managing Director of Austin, so much that a deal was struck with Healey to build it in quantity at Austin's Longbridge factory. The car was renamed the Austin Healey 100. The '100' name comes from Donald Healey who selected the name from the car's ability to reach 100mph as opposed to the Austin Healey 3000 which is named for its 3000cc engine. The final '100' models, 1956's 'BN4' (2+2 seats) and 1958's 'BN6' (two seats) were six-cylinder 100/6 cars. To make room for the occasional seats the wheelbase was increased by two inches. The bonnet had a built-in air scoop and the windscreen no longer folded down.Subject to a full mechanical and bodywork restoration this stunning example was manufactured in 1958. Presented beautifully in green coachwork with a newly trimmed interior in contrasting blood red Nappa leather with new wool carpets and new tonneau cover. Boasting a manual gearbox, this desirable four-seater is UK registered, and the original engine has been uprated and bored out to 3.0 litre, this coupled to a new wiring loom, rebuilt carburettors and a lightened and balanced flywheel, new engine mounts and clutch. The cooling has been uprated with a new aluminium radiator, new fan and new water pump. The fittings are all zinc or stainless steel in the engine bay and the car now also benefits from electronic ignition and disc brakes. A look underneath also gives an indication of the extent of the restoration for what is a great looking car. The most desirable model with the most desirable engine, this example will deliver many more years of driving pleasure with its classic good looks and strong performance this example looks fabulous.
2008 Aston Martin DBS Transmission: manualMileage:61400The Aston Martin DBS was a grand tourer based on the DB9 and replaced the 2004 Vanquish S as the flagship model. The DBS name had been used once before on their 1967-72 grand tourer coupé and the modern car was officially unveiled at the 2007 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance on 16th August, 2007, followed by the more traditional 2007 Frankfurt Motor Show. The convertible version of the DBS, dubbed the DBS Volante, was unveiled at the 2009 Geneva Motor Show, followed this time by the 2009 Concours d'Elegance.Impressively, the roof could also be opened or closed even at speeds up to 30mph. 2001 Jaguar XKR Convertible Transmission: automaticMileage:89709The XK8 is a grand tourer car that was launched in 1996 and was the first generation of a new XK series available in both coupé and convertible body styles and with the new 4.0 litre Jaguar AJ-V8 engine. The 1998 XKR was introduced with a supercharged version of the engine. Both the XK8 and XKR are electronically limited to a maximum of 155mph; the top speed of its predecessor, the XJS V12, being 158mph. Self-levelling Xenon headlamps came as standard with the XKR with Jaguar's adaptive cruise control as an optional feature available on both models. Jeremy Clarkson, during a Top Gear test drive, likened the interior of the original XK8 to sitting inside Blenheim Palace. This lovely Supercharged XKR is presented in Platinum Silver metallic with black hood and a complementary full black leather interior. The car is fitted with unmarked 18 alloy wheels and shod with a decent set of tyres all around. Being the top of the range XKR, this car has all the goodies of the era including Walnut fascia, satellite navigation, heated electric seats and mirrors, air conditioning and CD autochanger. Presented with a comprehensive Jaguar main dealer service history up to 88,696 miles in 2016 when it was purchased and put it into storage where the owner hoped it would appreciate in value. In 2021, it had a new battery and a major service and recently our vendor has had the coil packs, rear discs, and pads replaced. Importantly, we are informed that this example starts at first ask and runs smoothly and will make a lovely summer cruiser. The car is supplied with the handbook folder, service book, invoices, last purchase invoice, MoT test certificates, of which the previous advisories have been attended to and it now has a new MoT test certificate valid until Feb 2024, along with two original keys and fobs.Guide Price £6,000 - £11,000
