Very rare, 'Last Edition' Beetle, remarkably well preserved and just emerged from 29 years of dry storage.UK-supplied, right-hand drive Last Edition Beetle built in 1977 and first registered 1980One of 300 Last Editions, the final Beetles to roll off the production line in Germany in 1978Showing just 432 miles (atoc), correctly dry-stored and today presented in remarkably well-preserved condition. Certificate from VW shows numbers matchingGleaming Jubilee Silver metallic paintwork over untouched Marine Blue velour trimProbably an unrepeatable opportunity to own a VW motoring icon presented in 'showroom' conditionThe Volkswagen Beetle enjoyed staggering success for many years, and in 1972 became the best-selling car ever, with total production worldwide exceeding 15 million vehicles. However, by that time, the Beetle was starting to seem dated compared with much of the modern competition, and sales were flagging. In an attempt to maintain interest in the cars, VW produced numerous special edition models during the final years of European production. These included the Jeans Beetle, City Beetle, Sun Bug and Marathon Beetle, to give just a few examples.Despite all the special editions, with the Beetle now looking seriously dated, sales continued to decline and the last European-built car left the production line in Emden, Germany on the 19th of January, 1978, immediately taking early retirement in the Wolfsburg Auto Museum. In 1978, to mark the occasion, the final run of 300 German-manufactured, right-hand drive Beetles were all finished in the very special 'Jubilee Silver', a colour unique to this batch and never used on any other model year. The vehicles were each equipped with a 1200cc engine (the most famous of all), blue-corded velour trim, a flat screen (as a nod to the past), heated rear window, fresh air blower and a handbrake dash light. Finally, a dash-mounted plaque states the vehicle's number in the sequence. Unfortunately, these seem to have been supplied to VW dealers separately from the cars, and quite a number of LEBs never received the plaques intended for them.Offered here is a UK-supplied, right-hand drive Last Edition Beetle manufactured in 1977 and first registered on 1 August 1980. Emerging from 29 years in warm dry storage, today this example's condition can only be described as remarkable. The Jubilee Silver paintwork presents beautifully and the Marine blue velour trim also appears to be in showroom condition.Accompanying this rare Beetle is a history file containing the original VW instruction manual and service book, VW Certificate, original keys on a fob from the supplying dealer, copy of dealer application for a Licence for a new motor vehicle & Declaration for Registration supplied with the vehicle - 17/07/80, and an independent inspection report carried out prior to this sale. This is a great opportunity to add to a collection of landmark cars or just take ownership of perhaps one of the most well preserved of the German manufactured VW Beetles. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The legend that is the 22B - rare, bespoke and hugely covetedOne of the 399 22Bs built for sale to the domestic market. Created by Subaru in celebration of the Peter Stevens-designed WRC 1997 Championship-winning rally carCar #326 of the 400 JDM examples. Imported into the UK in 1998, so as good as it gets without being a super-rare 'Type-UK car'The 22B is endowed with a specially developed 2.2-litre EJ22-engine with unique forged pistons (restricted to 276bhp for the JDM), a seam-welded bodyshell (supposedly identical in shape to the WRC), special gearing, a twin-plate racing clutch, strengthened drive/prop shafts, driver-adjustable front/rear diff and bigger Brembo brakes. The suspension uses unique forged aluminium lower links, rose-joined transverse links, inverted Bilstein dampers, unique Eibach springs and BBS alloys30,200 verifiable miles, three former keepers and a recent full specialist recommissioning service (including cambelt) and inspectionComing to market from a real enthusiast, having owned the car for the last 16 yearsMuch history, books, import papers, even photos of the car arriving into the UK portFitted with an upgraded ECU (including anti-lag and launch control) and a handmade de-cat'd Hayward & Scott exhaust systemBuilt to celebrate both the marque's 40th anniversary and its third straight WRC manufacturers' title, the 22B STi was billed as the production version of Subaru's already-iconic two-door World Rally Car. With its swollen wheel arches, high-rise rear spoiler and an 80mm increase in width, it was as close to Colin McRae's rally car as any mortal was ever going to get. It wasn't a homologation special but more of a road-going replica. The '22' in the model's name referred to the engine capacity, which was increased from 1994cc to 2212cc. Officially, the turbocharged flat-four developed 276bhp, but the actual figure almost certainly started with a three. The 'B', meanwhile, stood for Bilstein, the damper supplier.Only 399 22Bs were built for sale to the domestic market (another 25 were made for overseas markets) and they pre-sold almost instantly in early 1998. The car cost a shade under £40,000 in period, or close to £70,000 in today's money. The 22B is endowed with a specially developed 2.2-litre EJ22-engine with unique forged pistons, a seam-welded bodyshell (supposedly identical in shape to the WRC), special gearing, a twin-plate racing clutch, strengthened drive/prop shafts, driver-adjustable front/rear diff and bigger brakes; the suspension uses unique forged aluminium lower links, rose-joined transverse links, inverted Bilstein dampers and unique Eibach springs, plus a set of 17-inch BBS alloy wheels. The car presented here a 1998 Subaru Impreza 22B-STI, car #326 of the 400 JDM examples, which was imported into the UK in 1998 (the same year as manufacture), so really as good as it gets without being a super-rare 'Type-UK car' (Subaru UK officially imported only 16 22Bs and passed them on to Prodrive for modification, with 3 cars known to have been issued with the '#000 number', belonging to Dave Richards of Prodrive, Colin McRae and Nicky Grist). The car has been owned in the UK by genuine enthusiasts who have obviously managed to keep it in superb condition. Our vendor bought the car back in 2004 and has used it very little but ensured it was stored professionally and was treated to a recent full service (all fluids, filters, cam-belt etc.) by a Subaru specialist. Accompanied by its original Subaru booklets from Japan (in which appears information referring to servicing), import papers and photos of the car arriving into a UK port, plus numerous receipts from such UK specialists as Roger Clark Motorsport Ltd. and G-Force Motorsport, this is a splendid example of an appreciating icon. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The last true analogue BMW sports car? Just 41,000 miles, full service history and original bill of saleA smart, first-generation S50-engined Roadster with the 316bhp, 3.2-litre inline-sixUK-supplied, right-hand drive model in Arctic Silver Metallic with Black/Estoril Blue Nappa leatherJust 41,000 miles, only two former keepers, full service history, original bill of sale, and a matching hardtopThe M-Sport spec included a limited-slip differential, a wider rear track and larger brakesZ3 M-Roadster and Coupe are considered the last analogue BMW sports carsThe original BMW M Coupé and BMW M-Roadster are high-performance models of the BMW Z3 coupés/roadsters produced by BMW between 1998 and 2002.The Z3 was the first modern mass-market roadster produced by BMW, as well as the first new BMW model to be assembled in the BMW Spartanburg plant in the US, with some major components - such as the engine and transmission - being imported from Germany. The Z3 was introduced as a 1996 model year vehicle, shortly after being featured in the James Bond movie 'Goldeneye'. While the film was number one at the box office, sales of the car peaked, and it was sold out by the time the car was launched. The Z3's design was a tad contentious at the time, it seemed that the market wasn't quite ready for such an Avant-Garde styling exercise from conservative BMW, but today the distinctive styling is regarded as a real virtue. The length of the bonnet and the short rear-end are complimented by swooping wheel-arches and side-vents, plus its purposeful yet comfy cockpit feels like a nice place to be.However, it wasn't until 1999, when BMW installed the performance version of one of the most beloved six-cylinder engines in the car industry, the 3.2-version of the S50 engine from the E36 M3, giving 316bhp at 7,400rpm 260 lb-ft of torque, that the Z3 became an interesting driver's car. The Z3M could now sprint to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds and on to a maximum speed of 155 mph, aided by uprated suspension, an LSD, a wider track, and larger brakes, all combining to create a proper sports car experience. Today, these cars possess a real feeling of integrity and a distinctive 'old-school' charm; UK's Top Gear declared it 'the best handling car in the business.'Apart from the engine transplant and performance upgrades, the interior of the Z3M received a mild-makeover too and bits of chrome were added, plus a host of 'M' upgrades to differentiate the Z3M from the standard car. With instant response from its naturally aspirated performance engine and a throaty growl from its quad exhausts, the Z3M is now considered as the last bastion of proper BMW sports cars. Today, the Roadster is appreciated for its timeless design, with these special cars now becoming rarer and much sought-after.The car presented here is a particularly fine example, in Arctic Silver Metallic, with just 41,000 miles, only two former keepers, a full-service history, its original Bill of Sale, and its rare matching hardtop. Our vendor searched high and low for the right Z3M, intending it as a gift for his wife, and came across this car, which had been cherished by its first owner, was always garaged, used sparingly and was in very original and genuine condition. With thorough servicing and MOT records to verify the low mileage, it's accompanied by its full original BMW book-pack and many receipts supporting the service history (reassuringly, this includes an invoice for the brilliant yet sometimes fragile VANOS unit being changed by BMW). In splendid condition all round, we imagine that it would be difficult to find a better example of these spirited little German roadsters. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. A UK-market 3000 restored and enhanced for maximum driving enjoyment.Rare and desirable right-hand drive BJ8, Phase-2, UK-market car, the final evolution of the 3000Increased power, servo-assisted brakes, improved rear suspension and a more luxurious interiorSourced specifically for an exacting restoration having the right spec and two previous keepersFully restored at Renaissance Classic Cars by Phil Kennedy, fully documented in six foldersDOME Motorsport engine, with a warm cam, mid-range suspension set-up and an anti-roll barNo expense spared to create the 'ultimate Big Healey' for spirited road use and touringIn a fabulous colour combination and immaculate conditionJust 600 miles since the restoration and on offer from a private collectionThe Austin-Healey 3000 is the very epitome of the classic British sports car and one of the few cars that can be said to have attained classic status whilst still in production. Quite an achievement then, but not an altogether unexpected one considering the Austin-Healey heritage coupled with its achievements in motorsport. The Austin Healey 3000 Mk III was launched in October 1963 and remained in production until the end of 1967 when production of all Austin Healeys ceased. Classified as the BJ8, the new model was the most powerful and luxurious of the big Healeys with a Walnut veneer dash, wind-up windows and a 150bhp engine, propelling the car to 60 mph in under ten seconds and enabling a top speed of just over 120mph. Improvements to the engine included a revised camshaft, valve springs and twin SU HD8 2" carburettors together with a redesigned exhaust system and servo-assisted brakes. In May 1964, the Phase 2 version was introduced that gave better ground clearance at the rear by a modified chassis. The car presented here is a rare and desirable RHD, UK-market 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mk3 BJ8 Phase 2, the final evolution of the 3000. It was specifically sourced for our vendor by a Healey expert given its rarity as a 'one previous owner, UK-market example, fitted with overdrive gearbox, and a decent history' - all essential prerequisites as a starting point for the brief he was given to create the ultimate 3000. He then commissioned an exacting 5-year restoration carried out at 'Renaissance Classic Cars' by Phil Kennedy, the aforementioned expert, and this car was one of the final Healeys he worked on before retiring. The car was originally supplied from the factory in Ivory White with Ambla vinyl and has now been refinished in this same colour (as per its Heritage Certificate) but with a very good quality, expensive Bentley Ox-blood leather interior.Starting with the ideal base 2+2 matching-numbers car, the brief was to create a Healey for spirted road driving but with no compromise to its ability to cover miles comfortably and efficiently. The bodywork was all methodically renewed with the addition of competition-style alloy vents that greatly help with airflow through the engine bay and give the car a sleeker and more aggressive look. The engine was fully rebuilt by Dennis Osborne of DOME Motorsport to a superb standard, with an uprated cam. Likewise, the gearbox was treated to the same quality rebuild, whilst the suspension was given a mid-range set-up with an anti-roll bar offering superb handling and road-holding. Phil Kennedy ensured the car was properly 'shaken-down' with 300 miles or so covered before our vendor added another 300 miles. The result is a really smart 3000 refreshed to a very high standard. All this work is captured in six folders (see photo), covering every aspect of the project, with lots of photos, invoices and notes all telling the story of investment, engineering, and commitment to what just might be the perfect Healey. We encourage you to view this car and its accompanying folders to see for yourself just how good a package it is.You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The car to have in 1960, quintessentially British and Jean Shrimpton prettyFinished in Old English White with silver wires and a smart red interiorOlder restoration retaining a good shine. Superb panel fit throughout1588cc B-Series producing 80bhp and offering 0-60 in 13 seconds and 96mphRack and pinion steering, Dunlop hydraulic front disc brakesStill retains its initial registration number 2650 RFRecent inspection and freshly issued MOT certificate with no advisoriesYour earliest inspection is encouraged and welcomedWhen the MGA arrived in 1955, it must have come as quite a shock to MG aficionados who had become accustomed to the pre-war look of the company's sports cars. It was a complete departure in styling and its beautiful streamlined body was right up to the minute in terms of appearance. It was powered by a new engine; MG had decided that the old XPAG unit had had its day and so introduced the much more modern B Series engine that had made its debut in the recently announced Magnette saloon. The 'A' was officially launched at the Frankfurt Motor Show in 1955. In 1959, MG released the 1600 model featuring a larger 1588cc engine, disc brakes at the front and rigid framed side screens with sliding windows. Rolling off the production line during the first quarter of 1960, this Abingdon-produced 1600 MGA Coupe was originally finished in Chariot Red complemented by the optional painted wire wheels. Clearly used as an everyday car in period, the time would eventually come when a little TLC was required. Completed some years ago, 2650 RF (its original registration number) was treated to a sympathetic restoration and a colour change to Old English White but retaining the red interior albeit retrimmed to suit. A conversion to a single 12v battery rather than two 6v batteries was also implemented. The silver painted wire wheels remain, as does the factory-supplied steering wheel, with the only new addition being an attractive stainless steel boot rack. Now nicely settled in, the Coupe has an air of originality and does not appear to be too factory fresh or overly restored, simply a very pleasant and mellowed MGA. With Coupe values now closely following the Roadster, this smart little MG is worth a look and with the 1600cc engine and front disc brakes fitted as standard, this is one 60s sports car that is very useable in today's traffic. It has recently been inspected and a new MOT Certificate issued without advisories.Seriously pretty and quintessentially British, MGAs offer real driving pleasure on the open road and make great entries into local rallies and club events. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Official UK press car and one of 53 right-hand drive examplesSuperbly presented in Grand Prix White with Guards Red Fuchs alloys LSD, 5-speed G50, shortened gear lever, Sport shock absorbers, top-tinted screen Official UK Porsche GB press car. Extensive history file. 89,700 milesFull-service history. Certificate of Authenticity. Original bill of sale. Both original keysWhen Porsche wanted to build a 9112.7 RS for the 1980's, it came up with the Carrera 3.2 Club Sport, a car which ~ like an RS has gone on to become a sought-after classic. In common with its RS predecessor, the key to the Club Sport is lightness. Without going crazy, Porsche shaved around 40kg off the standard car's 1210kg. This was done by omitting unnecessary 'luxuries' including electric windows, rear seats, rear wiper, radio, rear quarter panels, door pocket lids, central locking, engine-and luggage-compartment lights, passenger sun visor, underseal (although some UK cars retained some protection), some sound-deadening (that in the engine bay and roof lining remained), and even the coat hooks. There were manual heater controls (as fitted on earlier 911s) instead of an automatic thermostat system, whilst air-conditioning was deleted in markets where that was standard. In addition, the car was fitted with a lighter starter motor, simplified (and therefore lighter) wiring loom, and an alloy spare wheel. Despite the reduced specification, the Club Sport's interior was far from austere, with full carpeting (including over the rear seat area) and comfortable pinstripe fabric seats, although some examples had leather seats. Mechanically, the car retained the standard 3.2 engine, albeit blueprinted, fitted with lighter hollow inlet valves, and located on stiffer mounts. A revised engine management system increased the rev limit from 6520rpm to 6840rpm but, bizarrely, Porsche didn't claim any increase in power over the standard engine's 231bhp. The power was fed through a G50 gearbox with a shorter throw and taller fourth and fifth gears, and a limited-slip differential. Suspension, meanwhile, was uprated with nothing more than Bilstein gas dampers all round. The majority of Club Sport's were finished in Grand Prix White with the option of large 'Carrera CS' side decals in Guards Red. The Fuchs alloy wheels usually had matching red centres, but could also be specified in black or white. Only 340 Club Sports were built, with 53 right-hand-drive examples coming to the UK, where road testers received it with open arms; Motor claimed it to be the fastest 911 it had driven, and good value at some £3,000 cheaper than the standard car.The example we have here is finished in Grand Prix White and Black leatherette with pinstripe black seats. As a factory Club Sport, it comes with an LSD, 5-speed G50 gearbox, shortened gear lever, forged alloy wheels, 'Sport' shock absorbers, top tinted windscreen, and Clubsport Equipment. It also retains its original Blaupunkt radio cassette. This stunning 3.2 Club Sport (number 22 out of the 53 RHD UK cars delivered) was supplied through JCT600 in Bradford to Porsche themselves and subsequently became the official Press Car as confirmed by the history file. This is a superb read and even includes an original press release (addressed to Mr Tony Dron no less!). The car has been sold throughout the years by both Porsche themselves and well respected Porsche specialists. The service history mirrors this and dates all the way back to the initial 'Running-in' service, with invoices to verify from the current day back to 1992. Currently owned and loved by Silverstone Auctions M-D, Nick Whale, under his ownership the Club Sport has been maintained by respected Porsche Specialists, Tuthill Porsche, and was last serviced in 2019, with invoices on file. The original invoice from Porsche GB to the first private owner is also included. Supplied with all the history detailed above, the Porsche CoA, the stamped original service booklet and 2 original keys. The 3.2 Club Sport is a very rare machine, a desirable 80s Porsche for the serious collector and tipped to seriously increase in value. It is a true drivers car ~ and one with such an interesting history is surely the one to own.You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. 1958 Earls Court Motor Show Launch car and bought new by Jazz legend Chris Barber1958 Earls Court Motor Show launch car. Registered initially as CB 23Bought new by Jazz Legend Chris Barber. Extensively raced in top level International Sports Car racing 1958 – 1963Class Winner: 1963 Tourist Trophy, GoodwoodRecently emerged from a top quality, very exacting restoration as an historic racing car for Channel 4's ‘For the Love of Cars’Stored for many years prior to its restoration commencing in early 2016Restoration carried out by renowned engineer and Wheeler Dealers presenter, Ant AnsteadLotus Elite 1009 represents a unique proposition for buyers wanting to race in top-level historic motor sport or add to a stable of historically interesting cars. Its history and provenance make this Elite one of the most famous in the world and mean it would be welcome at any prestigious historic race meeting or show, worldwide. Not only is it the first Elite produced as a production vehicle for sale rather than a pre-production prototype as the previous eight were, but it was originally purchased by one of Colin Chapman's favoured customers and friends, jazz legend Chris Barber, a man whose music was influential in the British Blues and Jazz scene of the 1950s and 1960s and whose band was behind the UK's first Rock'n'Roll record, 'Rock Island Line' by Lonnie Donegan. Barber entered and raced the car extensively for 5 seasons in top-level international sports car racing in the UK and Europe including the Nürburgring, Spa and Zandvoort.During this period it was driven regularly by Sir John Whitmore, the 'Racing Baronet', who famously broke the class lap record at Spa using CB23 while on his way to class victory in the Grand Prix GT Support Race of 1962. Other notable drivers who drove the car include Mike Beckwith and Bob Olthoff as well as Chris Barber himself. The Lotus Elite was debuted at the 1957 Earls Court Motor Show and caused an absolute sensation, the star of the show. The fact it was also made entirely from the new wonder material, glass fibre, simply added to the Elite's aura of other-worldliness. Chapman, however, was obsessed by efficiency and in a car, whether road or race, that meant light weight and low drag. The Elite had a CD figure of 0.29, remarkable now let alone in 1958, and utilised the maximum amount of energy then possible from every ounce of petrol it consumed; amazingly it was capable of returning around 40mpg even when touring at 80 plus mph! Chapman saw the fibreglass monocoque as a way of achieving this without the need for expensive tooling, which he simply could not afford. Though still a young man, he was just 29 when the Elite was launched, Chapman was not in awe of more established companies or designers; indeed he relished looking at the basic problem of making a car go as fast as possible over a given distance with completely fresh eyes. He was also very ambitious and saw that if he wanted to grow Lotus into a serious force in racing he had to follow Enzo Ferrari's model of making road cars which paid for the racing. His first attempt, the Six, was a successful but basic car and by 1956 he had ideas about producing a small upmarket GT car with serious performance using the Coventry Climax engine he was so familiar with from racing. He gathered together his small army of young volunteers, who often worked for beer and sandwiches just to be part of a world-beating racing car company, for this exciting new project. Frank Costin looked at the aerodynamics of Peter Kirwan-Taylor's overall shape, while friends from the Ford Motor Company design office, John Frayling, Peter Cambridge and Ron Hickman, did the detail work on the interior and other aspects. The aim, to produce a coupe that could be used on the road for touring and also race at Le Mans was very ambitious, but the young team more than achieved it. Chapman's own suspension design, softly sprung yet firmly damped, all independent by wishbones at the front and Chapman struts at the rear, gave the Elite fantastically predictable handling while the brakes, all disc but fitted inboard at the rear to reduce unsprung weight, proved more than able to cope with stopping this lightweight gem. The successful Lotus 12 racer also contributed its wheelbase and track. Lotus' groundbreaking fibreglass monocoque was initially developed away from their own workforce for secrecy by Peter Frayling and 21-year-old assistant Albert Adams. The first Elite bodyshell was 'cast' on Saturday, August 31st 1957 and that day Chapman took the decision to debut the car at the Earls Court Show in October 1957. Remarkably the team made that deadline but then had to develop the car into something which worked reliably and could be produced efficiently. This car is the first customer car, chassis #1009 and would be finished in October 1958, just in time to be displayed at the Motor Show alongside the last prototype, 1008. It was then fine tuned before being officially sold to Chris Barber, and entered in the Lotus' Cars ledger on 31/12/1958. Barber, though, had already raced the car as the owner on the 26th of December, Boxing Day, Brands Hatch Sports Car race, so it seems likely the ledger entry was made on the day the factory returned to work following the Christmas break. By the time Elite production ceased in September 1963, 1030 examples had been made and Lotus had developed from a company unheard of outside of UK club racing to one of the most famous racing teams in the world. They were about to be crowned F1 World Champions for the first time with Jim Clark, and were seen as established world players in road car manufacture with a mature market presence in the USA and elsewhere. The Elite played a big part in this remarkable feat of automotive industrial growth. It was Lotus' first 'grown-up', credible road car and laid down the foundations of the Lotus business that still exists today. Lotus Elite 1009 has undergone a very high quality nut and bolt restoration by renowned restorer and engineer, Ant Anstead, as a racing car, and is not currently road registered. The restoration was filmed for the 'For the Love of Cars' series which has been so successful worldwide, something which can only add to this car's remarkable provenance. It also has the latest current FIA HTP papers (Period E- 1947-1961 which are valid until 31-12-2026) and is thus eligible for all International events. Offered in pristine condition from our private vendor who has owned the car since Silverstone Auctions first sold it in 2016, but has never used it ~ this Lotus Elite Type 14 Mk1 presents a unique opportunity for collectors and racers alike. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The always-in-fashion, DS. French-style at its very best; very rare, fully auto UK/RHD car.The DS Pallas is the more luxurious version of the DSThought to be one of only two RHD/UK-supplied EFI Pallas' supplied to French diplomats, fitted with a fully automatic gearboxFitted with the more powerful EFI engine; first registered in the UK on the 22/09/1972Wearing its original registration number MKX 884L (assigned SRC 7 between 1988-2007)Formerly Green but painted Bronze in 2001, whilst being restored by a Mr LowdellThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againJust as it had done 21 years previously with the revolutionary 'Traction Avant', Citroën stunned the world again in 1955 with the launch of the strikingly styled 'DS'. Beneath the shark-like newcomer's aerodynamically efficient, low-drag bodyshell there was all-independent, self-levelling, hydro-pneumatic suspension; plus, power-operated brakes, clutch, and steering. No European car would match the DS' ride quality for several years, the fundamental soundness of Citroën's ahead-of-its-time hydro-pneumatic suspension being demonstrated by its survival in present-day top-of-the-range models. The DS original 1,911cc, overhead-valve, long-stroke engine was replaced in 1966 by a short-stroke 1,985cc unit, also available in 2,175cc and 2,347cc capacities, while other DS developments included a restyled front end, swivelling headlights, fuel injection, and a five-speed gearbox. The DS was one of the first mass-market cars to use electronic fuel injectionThe car presented here is a 1972 Citroën DS21 EFI Pallas, a desirable and very rare (1 of 2 examples possibly), UK-supplied RHD car fitted with a fully automatic gearbox. According to the son of the restorer, a Mr Lowdell, he understands the car to be one of only a pair originally supplied to French diplomats based in the UK, who specified them with the fully automatic BorgWarner gearbox (supposedly with a different 2nd gear to allow a walking speed to be maintained smoothly, no doubt for diplomatic-style driving; this gearing was later altered to a conventional one). Mr Lowdell did used to own the car, later selling it to a Mr Cooper, who commissioned Mr Lowdell to fully restore it, taking approximately 10 years, concluding in 2001. Prior to this, the car was Green with a Green interior, with the Bronze paintwork being done by Rolls Royce. The sought-after Pallas is the more luxurious version of the DS, easily recognised by the trim on the body panels and the more luxurious interior (carpet on the sills, optional leather seats etc.).Restored to a high standard some 20 years ago, it has held up well with very little use and proper storage. With only four previous keepers, and being SORN'd in 2010, this lovely French icon requires some TLC to make it 'formidable' once again. In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. The elegant and rare Chapron-bodied DS; UK/RHD, manual and fully restoredFirst registered in May 1965 in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire, this is a rare right-hand drive, manual gearbox example, wearing its original registration number and accompanied by its green logbook and copy of its original invoice Chassis 4424017 was the last DS19M Chapron made in 1965Subject of a £30,000-plus restoration in August 1997, with input and parts supplied from numerous marque specialistsIn total, just 1,365 Cabriolet d'Usines (factory convertibles) were officially built; there were c50 examples produced in right-hand drive, with probably less than 10 surviving todayWhile a few European coach-builders offered cabriolet Citroen DSs, it was the conversion work of Henri Chapron that was considered the most stylish and elegantAt twice the price of the saloon, the DS cabriolet needed to be specialThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. No European car would match the DS's ride quality for several years, the fundamental soundness of Citroën's ahead-of-its-time hydro-pneumatic suspension being demonstrated by its survival in present-day top-of-the-range models. The DS's original 1,911cc, overhead-valve, long-stroke engine was replaced in 1966 by a short-stroke 1,985cc unit, also available in 2,175cc and 2,347cc capacities, while other DS developments included a restyled front end, swivelling headlights, fuel injection, and a five-speed gearbox.Other models offered alongside the original DS were the ID (a simplified, cheaper version), the cavernous Safari estate, and the two-door Décapotable (convertible), the latter boasting coachwork by Henri Chapron. (Chapron's first convertibles had been produced independently of Citroën, but the factory eventually gave the project its blessing). Despite a much-reduced demand for bespoke coachwork after WW2, Chapron survived thanks to his exemplary creations for Delahaye, Talbot and Salmson, switching to offering bespoke versions of unitary construction models when motor manufacturers began to abandon the traditional separate chassis frame. The arrival of the Citroën DS in 1955 presented Chapron with a fresh opportunity that would result in his name being forever linked with this remarkable car.Citroën's own Décapotables were built on the longer, stronger chassis of the ID Break (Estate) but the model was never produced in England, where Citroën's right-hand drive cars were assembled at its Slough factory up to 1966. In total, 1,365 'usine' (factory) convertibles were made with either the DS19 or DS21 engine between 1960 and 1971, while Chapron built a further 389 of his own, the last in 1973.Built in 1964, this DS19M (for Mécanique, indicating a manual gearbox) Décapotable (body/shell number: 0013001220) is a right-hand drive model, a particular specification for the British market, promoted as the model with the slightly uprated DW engine. It has the original-style front end pre-dating the revised version introduced in 1967.The car was first registered in May 1965 in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire and went on to have six owners up until 1976, when it was taken off the road with a view to some bodywork restoration. The story goes that this was started but not finished. The car spent most of the 1980s and 1990s sat in the Citroën dealers in Llandudno, North Wales, in the ownership of the parts manager Mr David Williams. In early 1997 the dealership closed, so Mr Williams offered the car for sale, still in need of restoration and in April 1997, the car, complete and running, was bought by Mr Tony Stokoe. The odometer reading was 48,221 miles and was believed correct given how genuine and mechanically sound the car was. In August 1997, Mr Stokoe set about commissioning a thorough restoration of the car, documented with photos on a CD-ROM, employing Citroën specialist 'Installation Services' of Oswestry to remedy the bodywork and hood, painting the car Royal Blue (AC.619), an original DS Chapron colour. Andrew Brodie of Brodie Engineering, London worked as a consultant on the project and supplied many Chapron parts and specialist trim items. Likewise, Graham Lange at the Oxford French Car Company provided many early DS parts. The car was stripped, repaired, and welded with new and correct panels fitted as appropriate, with all mechanical components being overhauled. The seats, trim and hood all were all renewed with the correct materials. This beautiful DS is now ready for a new owner but will require a small amount of recommissioning due to being stored. A real opportunity to acquire a very desirable car knowing all the major work has been already carried out. In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. Citroën's flagship car of the era, a wonderful collaborationA striking example in a great colour combination - there is nothing quite like an SMEarly paperwork (1974/1975) shows evidence of the car residing in Madrid, Spain, being maintained and serviced at Citroën; a 2010 receipt shows it was bought from a Madrid seller by Classics & Cabriolets Collection of EssexA marriage of Citroën and Maserati led to the birth of a highly individual coupe - the SM was a two-door, four-seat Coupe powered by a 2670cc, Maserati, four-cam, 90-degree V6 producing 180bhp at 6,250rpm, all fed through the front wheelsCitroën's flagship vehicle capable of 0-60 mph in around eight seconds and a top speed of 140mphComplex and innovative; the suspension was Hydropneumatic and the steering was variable-assist hydraulicThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againIn 1961, Citroën began work on 'Project S', a sports variant of the revolutionary Citroën DS. As was customary for the firm, many running concept vehicles were developed, increasingly complex and upmarket from the DS. Citroën purchased Maserati in 1968 with the intention of harnessing Maserati's high-performance V6 engine technology to produce a true Gran Turismo car combining the sophisticated Citroën suspension. The result was the Citroën SM - a two-door, four-seat coupé powered by a 2670cc, Maserati, four-cam, 90-degree V6 producing 180bhp at 6,250rpm, all fed through the front wheels.First shown at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1970 and going on sale in France in September of that year, all factory-produced cars were left-hand drive, although right-hand conversions were supplied to the UK and Australia. The origin of the model name 'SM' is not completely clear. The 'S' may derive from the Project 'S' designation and the 'M' perhaps refers to Maserati; hence SM is often assumed to stand for 'Systeme Maserati' or 'Sports Maserati'. Another common alternative is 'Série Maserati' but others have suggested it is short for 'Sa Majesté' (Her Majesty in French) which aligns with the common DS model's nickname 'La Déesse' (The Goddess). In 1972 the 2.7 was changed from triple Weber 42DCNFs to Bosch Jetronic injection although later cars returned to the Webers. It was capable of 0-60 in around 8 seconds and had a top speed in fifth gear of 140 mph. The suspension was 'Hydropneumatic' and the steering was variable-assist hydraulicThe car presented here is a 1971 Citroën SM 2.7 V6 (so with Weber 42DCNFs) with accompanying early paperwork (1974/75) showing evidence of it residing in Madrid being maintained and serviced at Citroën. A much later receipt shows it was bought in 2010 from a Madrid seller to 'Classics & Cabriolets Collection' of Essex. Enjoying the sunny climate of Madrid for most of its life should make for a solid example and was obviously deemed worthy of purchase by a UK classic car specialist.A fascinating car, the SM is considered a real design and technology maverick, and it is wholly understandable why they continue to generate such interest. In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. A rare hand-built 1960s Tourer that was the choice of Royalty in period. One of less than 100 TE Cabriolets producedEnjoyed by the rich, famous and PrincesRenowned for its sharp styling and enviable interior spaceLate production TE with strengthened chassis and improved performanceFour former keepers. Original engineThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againThe name Alvis was always synonymous with craftsmanship and performance and the final models produced by this very British manufacturer were no exception. When production of the three-litre cars ended in 1954, the end was in sight for Alvis Cars, however, the fortuitous intervention of the Swiss coachbuilder, Graber, saved the day. For some time Graber had been successfully clothing Alvis chassis with their own elegant and modern designs and, in 1953, Alvis reached an agreement to build the Graber cars under licence. Loughborough coachbuilder, Willowbrook, built the first model, the TC108G, but it was expensive and only 17 examples were sold during the next three years. Production ceased in 1957 when Alvis, having bought the Graber rights two years earlier, struck a deal with Park Ward to build the cars at a more reasonable cost. The resultant new TD21 was announced in October 1958 and benefited from a strengthened chassis, sharp styling and increased interior space. In 1962, a Series II version was launched with disc brakes all round as standard as was a five-speed ZF gearbox. It received excellent press, Autocar calling it "One of the most enchanting owner-driver cars imaginable" a somewhat quaint phrase to our ears but during the early sixties, a significant proportion of large luxury cars were driven by chauffeurs. In 1964 the Series III, otherwise known as the TE21, was introduced and it was simply a masterpiece of understated elegance. By this time, the 2993cc engine had been developed to produce just over 130 bhp, and with its ZF box, disc brakes, and the new recirculating-ball steering, the TE could give many a sports car a run for its money. The purchase of an Alvis said a lot about the buyer. The car was not slow (the 130bhp straight-six would propel it above 100mph with relative ease), yet it did not shout 'performance', 'money' or 'extravagance'. Just 352 TE21 models were produced in total, only 95 as cabriolets and as a testimony to their build-quality and desirability, an estimated 88 still remain. This particular TE21 has only four former keepers recorded with the DVLA and appears to be in very good condition. It's finished in a lovely shade of Burgundy with good chrome and a pristine set of chrome wires. The interior is generally very good apart from the grey leather seating which is a little 'lived in', the red carpets look fresh and the grey soft top appears recent. The indicated mileage is 8,786 but we imagine it's probably 108,786. A rare Alvis in period and we are sure that only a couple of dozen cabriolets will still be on the road today so this is an excellent opportunity to acquire a model that was once the vehicle of choice for both Prince Philip and Prince Charles. In recent years this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. This diminutive cycle car presents well to this day and will make a welcome and rare addition to any collectionRare 1920's cycle car produced by Maurice Jeanson in 1927945cc Chapuis-Dornier engine with a sports car bodyDiminutive styling in line with Amilcar and SalmsonOne of the first vehicles to be offered under a finance agreementYour earliest inspection is encouraged and welcomedThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againA new V5c will need to be requested by submitting a V62 formIt's not only quality, engineering, innovation or competitiveness that can make a car manufacturer successful. Perhaps most important of all is marketing. And this is where French manufacturer Maurice Jeanson excelled, albeit for a limited time. Jeanson entered the car market in 1921 during the cyclecar craze. He chose the name of his nephew, Benjamin, as a brand name and introduced a small 750 cc 4-cylinder car with shaft drive that weighed just under 350kg. That meant that the car benefitted from the tax advantages for cyclecars whilst offering the better build quality of more conventional cars. More importantly, he concocted an innovative financing scheme for his customers. In association with bank Société Générale, he offered a credit scheme which meant that the cars could be bought by paying 12 monthly instalments, which added only 200 Francs to the price. Benjamin acted as a security to the bank, which proved to be both productive as well as risky. At first business boomed and sales grew rapidly. In 1923 the range was expanded with a long-chassis model that could be fitted with 4-seater bodies but was also offered for commercial vehicles. That same year a 2-seater sports model was introduced with a single overhead cam engine that propelled the car to a maximum speed of 100 kph. A year later a true cyclecar was marketed as the Benjamin P2. It was powered by a 525 cc twin-cylinder 2-stroke engine that was mounted in the rear of the boat-tailed car. Though it had some success in competition, the car didn't sell well and the model soon disappeared from the range. After that Benjamin stuck by 4-cylinder 4-stroke models and capacities up to 1095 cc were offered.Up to 1926 production grew and grew and Benjamin prospered. Four-wheel braking was introduced on the cars, which had made a name for themselves for offering quality at a modest price. But then things went awry as the economy declined and customers failed to pay off their loans. Since Benjamin acted as guarantor, the company was obliged to reimburse the bank for the failed payments of their customers and this led to bankruptcy in 1927. As the creditors saw more advantages in continuing production as opposed to selling the assets the company was not liquidated and Jeanson was allowed to re-establish his company, but now closely governed by his main creditor, the bank. Benjamin was renamed into Benova, meaning "new Benjamin".The most notable new car was the Type G with a 1502cc (later enlarged to 2 litres) straight 8-cylinder engine provided by S.C.A.P. This was a luxury car quite unlike the preceding models and was produced up to 1929. More common were the models powered by the 4-cylinder engines provided by Chapuis-Dornier. They ranged from 945cc to 2100cc capacities and powered models varying from small 2-seaters, conventional 4-seaters to commercial vehicles. They sold reasonably well but with the recession, the competition from mass-produced cars and without the attractive financing scheme the market dried up for Benova and its last vehicles were sold in 1931. It's not quite clear how many Benjamins or Benovas were made in total but of the B3 model shown here, there were more than 300 built between 1927 and 1929. Most of them had regular tourer, coach or saloon bodies but there were sportscars as well. This example is fitted with the 945cc Chapuis-Dornier engine and fits in quite nicely with contemporary small sportscars from Amilcar and Salmson. There are still a number of Benjamin and Benova cars extant, mostly in Western Europe and often as 2-seater sports specials which still enjoy some popularity. This diminutive cycle car presents well to this day and will make a welcome and rare addition to any collection. Just three owners from new and 33,000 miles.Registered to the first of just three owners on the 15/07/1997Supplied by Jack Barclay in Racing Green with Sandstone leather interiorAt launch, the Continental was hailed as the first "proper" Bentley for nearly 60 yearsThe 22 service stamps show a veritable Who's Who of main dealer and Bentley specialistsThe odometer reading is some 33,000 miles (atoc) and the car was last MOT'd in 2010This car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againBentley's 1980's resurgence had hitherto relied exclusively on models whose basic architecture was shared with other Rolls-Royce products but on display at Geneva in '85 was 'Project 90', a mocked-up coupé intended to gauge public response to the idea of a high-performance car unique to Bentley. When the real thing - the Bentley Continental R - was unveiled six years later, the waiting crowd burst into spontaneous applause. Styled with the assistance of consultants International Automotive Design, the Continental R benefited from computer-aided design and wind tunnel testing in the devising of its sleekly streamlined shape. Despite the need to incorporate non-traditional features such as doors recessed into the roof, the result looked every bit a Bentley, albeit one restated for the 1990s. Also new was the gearbox, a four-speed automatic with 'overdrive' top ratio, but the main focus of interest was the newcomer's performance. Needless to say, this was outstanding, the combination of the Turbo R engine in the new wind-cheating shape cutting the 0-60mph time to 6.2 seconds and boosting top speed to in excess of 150mph.There was even more to come in the form of the Continental T. Introduced in June 1996, the latter was a short-wheelbase version of the Continental R, some 4" being taken out of the chassis aft of the doors. With 400bhp at its disposal and crouching aggressively on 18" wheels, the low-slung Continental T looked every inch the thoroughbred Bentley sports car, the cockpit with its engine-turned dashboard recalling the heroic exploits of W O's 1920s racers. The engine start button was another neat 'retro' touch. Despite weighing as much as two Ford Mondeo 1.8s, the luxuriously appointed Continental T was certainly no slouch, racing to 60mph in a tyre-shredding 5.8 seconds on its way to a (governor limited) top speed of 156mph. Equally eye-watering was the price: £220,312 at time of launch.Supplied new via Jack Barclay in July 1997, this Continental T has covered only 33,000 miles from new and comes with a full service history with Jack Barclay, Nine Elms to July 2002 and then Michael Powles, Norwich to 2008. The car was last serviced by P & A Wood in September 2009 at 32,964 miles. There are 22 recorded services with fewer than 1,000 miles between many of them, indicating a fastidious approach to care and maintenance. Finished in Racing Green with Sandstone hide interior, the car comes with specification sheets listing fully veneered door cappings, sports-style steering wheel, Spruce hide piping, roof-mounted aerial and Burr Walnut centre console among the special factory-fitted options. The previous owner purchased the car at auction in 2010 and it changed hands in 2014 to the third registered keeper. It has formed a part of a large collection which included some historically significant Bentley R-Type Continentals and S-series drophead-coupes. The odometer reading is some 33,000 miles, at the time of cataloguing, and the car was last MOT'd in 2010. Although stored correctly and presenting well, the car hasn't had much in the way of maintenance or servicing and consequently is being sold as a "non-runner". We would caution any buyer to treat the car to a thorough going over upon delivery. In recent years this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. By definition, a fully strengthened luxury convertible to seat four adults very comfortably, accommodate their luggage and hide an engine sufficiently powerful to propel the entire ensemble towards the horizon in a linear fashion is never going to be a small car and the Azure often surprised with its substantial presence.Power came from the company's stalwart 6.75-litre V8, fed by a single inter-cooled turbocharger producing in the region of 380bhp which, when mated to a General Motors-sourced, four-speed automatic gearbox enabled this superbly designed Bentley to silently waft up to 60mph in an impressive 6.1 seconds. Owing to the limited space at Bentley's Crewe factory, the Azure was assembled and finished by Pininfarina, significantly adding to the vehicle's production costs. The selling price varied, naturally, with the specification, the options list was deliciously indulgent, but the base price was around £200,000 when new.Initially registered on the 24th September 1997 to the first of five owners, the car has been part of a large private collection since 2014 and, consequently, hasn't had much in the way of maintenance or servicing and is best described as a "non-runner". It was last MOT'd in 2019, however, we would caution any buyer to treat the car to a thorough going over upon receipt. Please note there are faults with the roof mechanism and steering rack. One of just 100 examples of the S3 Flying Spur.Initially registered to the first of three owners on the 25/03/1966One of the final S-Series-derived Bentleys before the introduction of the T1Believed to be one of just 100 S3 Continental coachbuilt by H.J. MullinerShowing an odometer reading of 46,667 miles (atoc) and last MOT'd in 2009This car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againIntroduced in 1955, the Bentley S-Type and equivalent Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud saloons were thoroughly modern, spacious, comfortable, quiet and powerful. In production for 10 years, they were the final series-production coach-built cars from Crewe.Building on the legendary status of the ground-breaking R-Type Continental, Bentley soon announced a two-door S-Type to be available as a stunning drophead coupé by Park Ward and a desirable and sporting 'fastback' by H.J. Mulliner. These cars were fast - thanks to aluminium coachwork, a raised compression ratio and longer final drive - and once again found favour with the super-rich of the day. It took two years before the company relented to customer demand for the pace and exclusivity of the Continental combined with the practicality of four doors. H.J. Mulliner of NW London created a superb Continental saloon, subsequently titled 'Flying Spur' after the Clan Johnstone crest of Mulliner's then managing director, Harry Talbot Johnstone. The first car was on the road in May 1957 and deliveries commenced with a pair exported to the USA just two months later. Facing competition from across the Atlantic, in August 1959 Rolls-Royce announced a new, 6,230cc V8. The light alloy unit weighed the same as the outgoing 'six but produced significantly more power, perhaps as much as 25%. The new S2 Continentals - only ever fitted with automatic gearboxes - were faster and even more refined than ever. At the same time, making use of the more compact profile of the new engine, the distinctive radiator shell was lowered and slightly raked forward. The Bentley S3, introduced in October 1962, took this process of modernisation one step further. More than simply a twin-headlamp face-lift, S3s featured a raft of other changes including another 1.5in taken off the height of the radiator, which was raked further to aid visibility. All S3 engines had bigger, 2in SU carburettors and this modification, together with raised compression, gave the cars an edge in performance, particularly above 60mph. For the first time as standard, the front seats were individual, rather than a single bench. One of the last cars built, this S3 Flying Spur was initially registered on the 25 March 1966 to the first of just three UK owners and has been significantly restored in the intervening years. Showing an odometer reading of 47,050 miles, at the time of cataloguing, and last MOT'd in 2009 this car was purchased in 2014 and has formed a part of a large collection which included some historically significant Bentley R-Type Continentals and S-series drophead-coupes. Although stored correctly and presenting well, the car hasn't had much in the way of maintenance or servicing and as such is sold as a "non-runner". We would caution any buyer to treat the car to a thorough going over upon delivery. In recent years this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. The popular and capable TR4A, a true British classicA UK-market example with just four previous keepers, accompanied by numerous invoices and a Heritage Certificate The 4A debuted in 1965 and introduced an all-new independent rear suspension system (IRS)It combined a modern Michelotti-designed body with the chassis of the previous TR3AThe 2138cc, TR3A engine continued offering a top speed of almost 110 mph with overdriveThe four-cylinder TRs are among the easiest of post-war classic sports cars to own and maintain being supported by a multitude of component suppliers and other specialistsThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againProduced between 1961 and 1967, the Triumph TR4 combined a new, modern, and aggressive body design by famed Italian stylist, Giovanni Michelotti, with the basic chassis of the previous TR3A. The TR4 also improved passenger comfort with wind-up windows, face-level ventilation, and an optional hardtop. When equipped with the optional overdrive, the TR4 was good for a top speed of almost 110mph.Following on from the TR4, the new TR4A was phased in smoothly at the beginning of 1965 and introduced an all-new independent rear suspension system (IRS), which provided exceptional rear-wheel camber control with excellent wheel travel while softer springs improved the ride quality. Having six universal joints, three prop shafts and two trailing arms, the system was appreciatively more expensive than the previous live axle arrangement (dealers in the US reacted uncomfortably to the new design on cost grounds; to appease them, Triumph actually built the TR4A in two forms, one with a live axle primarily for the US and the TR4A IRS for other markets where the price was less sensitive). The press was happy to see an all-independent car, and Triumph was pleased to be the first British car manufacturer to have all-independent suspensions under every car in their line-up. At the Sebring 12 Hours in 1966, ample proof of the validity of the IRS was provided when three IRS-equipped TR4As achieved a remarkable 1-2-3 class victory. Body production changes for the TR4A were a new grille, decoration and badging, and a radically different chassis (designed to accept the new semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension), plus the introduction of an up-rated version of the 2138cc Vanguard unit, now with a better cylinder head breathing through a new exhaust, giving 104bhp at 4,700rpm. Other changes were new decoration, badging, sidelights and chrome trim along the door/wings, a wooden dash, and better seats. The hood too was revised with proper catches at the front, which ensured it would stay on, unlike the pitifully poor TR4 hood. The car presented here is UK-supplied, right-hand drive 1966 Triumph TR4A dating from the 6th April 1966 and sent to Puttocks Ltd. of Guildford for sale. With only four previous keepers, this 4A has led a well-cared-for life in the hands of genuine enthusiasts immediately evident by the accompanying history file showing much expenditure on maintenance and upkeep over the years. A BMC Heritage Trust Certificate is also present and evidence that at least one previous owner was a member of the TR Register. A UK-market example is relatively rare and the most desirable, giving the new owner the opportunity to step straight into a very well-regarded British classic. In recent years, this car has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. Thought to be one of a handful of Duncan-bodied Alvis' remaining! One of only 27 produced in 1947/1948Manufactured by Ian Duncan, an aeronautical engineerOnly a handful are thought to still existOnce recommissioned, this lovely old Alvis will be welcomed at all motoring eventsThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againNB: The number plate in the pictures is not included in the saleProduced in 1947/8 by Ian Duncan, an aeronautical engineer, the Duncan Alvis was built utilising an Alvis TA 14 chassis and running gear. Weighing in at far less, 2.5 tons to be exact, than a regular TA14, the performance, at the time, was spritely compared to its larger sibling and was a much-admired motor vehicle when out on the road, in fact, the four-cylinder engine was reputedly good for a top speed of 75 mph and would cruise happily at 65 mph, with the downside being that in monetary terms, it cost almost twice the amount of the TA14!The example on offer here was first registered in 1948, finished in black with a tan interior it has formed part of a large collection in recent years and has unfortunately sustained some minor damage to the offside rear quarter. However, the rarity of this particular Alvis, being one of only 27 produced, means that it is a desirable item and with an amount of TLC will be something that will be welcomed at motoring events far and wide. It should be noted that during its time within the collection it has received little use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. A good opportunity to recommission this beautiful V12 Ferrari GT, just 14,318 miles.UK-supplied, right-hand drive 456 Modificata Automatic. Just 14,318 miles (atoc) from newThe definitive Grand Tourer - fast yet practical, front-engined, 436bhp, 5.5-litre V12Well presented in Azzuro California with light tan leather and dark blue carpetsMost recent MOT dated 2013 but appears to have been stored correctly sinceThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. Will require a degree of mechanical recommissioning, offered as a non-runnerPowered by what was essentially a detuned version of the engine powering the 550 and 575, the new 5.5-litre V12 unleashed no less than 436 bhp and, except for the F40, the 456 was the most powerful road car developed by Ferrari up to that point. Pininfarina worked its magic on the 456 to create a subtly beautiful curvaceous body contrasting with the hard edges of its predecessor. Aerodynamically efficient, the 456 remained stable up to its maximum speed of around 190 mph. Acclaimed on its debut, the 456's styling has not dated and is a tribute to Pininfarina's vision in creating one of most beautiful vehicle designs of modern times. The 'Modificata' 456 M appeared in 1998, starting with chassis number 109589 and it incorporated a number of changes, including improvements to the aerodynamics and cooling. The interior, still featuring Connolly Leather, was also freshened up with new seats and other detailing. The updated 456M, which was the last Ferrari model to use pop-up headlamps, was replaced in 2004 by the 612 Scaglietti.Offered here is a UK supplied, right-hand drive 2001 Ferrari 456M GTA with just 14,319 miles displayed on the speedometer at the time of cataloguing. Presented in a beautiful colour combination of Azzuro California with light tan leather and dark blue carpets. This particular example formed part of a significant private collection and appears to have been stored correctly over the years however may not have been used for some time. Consequently, the Ferrari is offered 'as is' and should be considered a non-runner. The last MOT expired on 7th March 2013 and before any attempt is made to start this car we would suggest a thorough inspection, the Cam-belts are replaced and all fluids changed as a minimum.Guided accordingly, this is an exciting opportunity to recommission this wonderful GT which, with all the work completed will provide its new owner with many years of enjoyment. In recent years this motorcar has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use, an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. Elegant 1950s open-top, two-seat Tourer. One of only 31. Thought to be the 8th from last TB Tourer to be manufactured2993cc, OHV, seven-bearing, straight-six. Manual gearbox Finished in Porcelain White with a white-piped red hide interiorOriginal dashboard in red with a cream Bakelite wheel and cream instrument facesThe cutaway doors are rear-hinged and the windscreen can be folded flat Only three registered keepers with the DVLAThis car has formed part of a large collection with little or no use. An element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once againThe TA21 was Alvis' last 'clean sheet' car design to reach production. The newcomer sought to move the marque back into a more expensive area of the market than its predecessor, the immediate post-war TA14, but remained faithful to many of the company's tried and tested engineering practices. Consequently, it retained independent front suspension on a massive cross member mounted to a rigid box-section chassis frame with leaf-sprung rear suspension, though there were telescopic dampers all round and hydraulic brakes, twin-leading shoe at the front, made a welcome appearance. To keep the 2993cc OHV seven-bearing, straight-six engine silent, light springs held the pushrods in permanent contact with the rockers. In the same way that Alvis had offered an open two-seater version of the TA14, it commissioned AP Metalcraft of Coventry to perform the same conversion on the TA21 chassis, creating the TB21, though it dropped the controversial grille used on the TB14 in favour of the traditional Alvis frontage. In keeping with its sporting pretensions, the cutaway doors were rear-hinged and the windscreen could be folded flat. As the car was lighter than the TA21 the final drive ratio was raised from 4.09:1 to 3.77:1, helping to increase the top speed to 95mph and at the same time improving economy. But its high price of £1,598 kept the car exclusive and only 31 were built between 1951 and 1953.This particular manual gearbox TB21 Tourer left the factory towards the end of production and is thought to be the eighth from last to be manufactured. Finished in, we believe, Porcelain White with a red hide interior and with only three former keepers registered with the DVLA, this particular TB provides interested parties with an opportunity to acquire an elegant 50s Sports Tourer, rarely available on the open market. In recent years the Alvis has formed part of a large collection and as such has received little or no use and an element of recommissioning is to be expected to return it to the road once again. Smart HE Convertible that has just turned 70,000 milesFinished in its original colour of Signal Red with a black soft-topVery smart interior with magnolia leather piped in redOnly 70,024 miles indicated at the time of cataloguingThe MOT history confirms the Jaguar has been used lightly over the last ten yearsThe history file contains the original owner's manual and some service invoicesOffered with a current MOT it is said to drive well and is excitingly offered at No ReserveWith E-Type sales falling and an outright ban on convertibles looming in its most important export market - the USA - Jaguar addressed the problem of defining its successor as the 1960s drew to a close. Codenamed 'XJ27', the car that would evolve into the XJ-S was styled by Malcolm Sayer, the man responsible for the E-Type, under the fatherly eye of Jaguar boss, Sir William Lyons. Conceived as a comfortable and long-legged Grand Routier, rather than an out-and-out sports car like the preceding E-Type, the XJ-S made use of the Jaguar XJ6/XJ12 saloon platform and running gear. Shorter in the wheelbase than its saloon siblings, the new model debuted at the 1976 Frankfurt Motor Show as a V12-powered coupé, with six-cylinder and soft-top versions following in the 1980s, the expected ban on open cars having failed to materialise. One of the most important developments in the evolution of the V12-powered XJ-S was the introduction of the HE (High Efficiency) engine in 1981. Incorporating a new design of cylinder head, this more fuel-efficient unit enabled the top-of-the-range XJ-S to meet tighter worldwide emissions legislation. The XJ-S would go on to become Jaguar's best-selling sports car ever, well in excess of 115,000 being made up the time production ceased in April 1996.This particular XJS Convertible comes from a private vendor who has enjoyed the car as the English weather has allowed over the last couple of years covering just a few hundred miles in his tenure.Finished in the original colour combination of Signal Red with red-piped Magnolia leather upholstery and a black hood, it covered most of its mileage prior to 2010, since when the MOT history confirms the car travelling just a few hundred miles each summer.Currently, it has just turned the 70,000-mile landmark and there are a few service and general maintenance bills present in the rather thin history file plus the original owner's handbook. Offered with a current MOT it is said to drive well and is excitingly offered at no reserve. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. **Sale Room Announcement** The car has aminor clutch issue, vendor has agreed to have it repaired immediatley following sale at his expense.Well restored, matching numbers, overdrive box, Mk 2 with a distinct Coombs influence.Finished in Opalescent Blue with French Blue hide and looks fabulousFitted with Coombs-style arches, louvred bonnet, painted wires and S/S exhaustElectronic ignition, high torque starter, sports manifold, handling kit, poly-bushedOriginal reg number. Comprehensive history file, Heritage Certificate, numerous invoices, photographs of the rebuild and spare keysOne of the nicest Mk2s we have seen for a long timeYour earliest inspection is encouraged and welcomedThe 2.4 saloon of 1955 had been a major step for Jaguar, marking as it did the change from a coachbuilt chassis to one of unitary construction; it was a necessary move, however, Jaguar being aware there was a strong market for a more compact saloon than the big Mk IX. Powered by a 2,482cc version of the superb twin-cam straight-six XK engine first seen in the XK120, the 2.4 offered luxury, performance and value for money. Using coil spring/wishbone front and semi-elliptic spring rear suspension, it possessed fine road manners and proved a great success, both on and off the track, particularly when the Mk1, as it subsequently became known, became available with the 3.4-litre engine in February 1957.It was in October 1959 that the Mk 2 version appeared, making a good car even better. Similar in appearance but with a much larger glass area, it boasted a wider rear track to improve roadholding together with minor front suspension changes to reduce body roll and all-round disc rather than drum brakes. Engine options included the 120bhp 2.4-litre, the 210bhp 3.4-litre and, for the first time the 220bhp 3,781cc unit of the Mk IX.Having enjoyed considerable success as a racing driver, most notably in Formula 1, John Coombs retired from racing to concentrate on running his Guildford-based Jaguar dealership. He race-prepared cars for himself and other drivers gaining particular success with Jaguar Mk 2 saloons, engineering considerably faster and more reliable cars than the standard examples.Pleasingly still sporting its original registration number, and looking absolutely delightful, '1856 RH' is finished in Opalescent Blue with French Blue Hide and sits on black-painted painted wire wheels with 3-eared spinners. It's a matching-numbers, manual box with overdrive car and has just benefitted from a total ground-up restoration to the very highest of standards. It's been professionally presented to reflect the influence that John Coombs had on the Mk 2 market back in the day and upgraded during the process to enhance the driving experience wherever possible. Coombs-style rear arches have been employed in conjunction with a louvred bonnet (note the correct amount of louvres stamped) to aesthetically lift the car, whilst mechanically the detailed engine bay, complete with a Coombs of Guildford plaque secreted away, houses electronic ignition, a high torque starter, sports manifold and a Coombs-style, Bell Stainless Steel Exhaust. The underside of the vehicle is also gleaming and fully detailed, set off by a Harvey Bailey Handling Kit and Poly-bushed suspension.Internally the Reuter reclining seats have been fully retrimmed in leather together with the door cards, new carpets and replacement headlining, as well as newly veneered woodwork and a period-style wood-rimmed steering wheel for a sportier feel.Accompanied by a comprehensive history file, its Heritage Certificate, numerous invoices, photographs of the rebuild and spare keys, this stunning Mk 2 is a testament to the craftsmen that have given this particular Jaguar a new lease of life. Now ready to be enjoyed once again, out on the open road and chatting to fellow enthusiasts about that special Coombs Jaguar look. I don't think for one minute that John Coombs, whilst popping a few louvres into the bonnet of his Mk2 to keep it a bit cooler, would have imagined that 60 years later, enthusiasts are talking about his creation in hushed tones. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The mainstay of their business at that time was the production of fibreglass boat hulls, but in 1962 they won a £100,000 contract to supply GRP bodies for the new Lotus Elan sports car. This was seen as a breakthrough for the company and, remarked the Nottingham Evening Post, "represented the city's re-entry into the car industry". Special tools and moulding equipment were installed at the Netherfield factory to achieve the five-part body-forming process and over the next two years, Bourne's went on to make approximately two hundred bodies before demand became too great and production was transferred in-house to Lotus Cars in 1964.Totally restored from the chassis up in 2010/ 2011, this particular S1 was actually exported to the East Coast of America in 1972 /73 before returning to the UK in need of some attention. This early Elan has now been bought back to life with a conscious nod to originality, forming part of a small Lotus collection ever since. Its condition is superb throughout and a testament to its fastidious owner. Attention to detail is paramount with vehicles of this type and this particular Elan is no exception with the underside and running gear almost as clean and as tidy as the top of this delightful Lotus and, as you might hope, the 'S Bourne & Co (Plastics) Ltd.' plaque remains in place on the bulkhead and the engine bay, boot and underside still wear their faithful grey Gelcoat, exactly as it would have left Netherfield prior to final assembly.A much sought-after 60s sports car that was produced with minimum weight in mind whilst still providing room for a 6' tall driver together with practical luggage carrying capacity, the Elan was instantly popular. Around 900 of the early Series 1 cars were produced with many being converted to race specification, and a few lost in the mists of time making this Bourne-bodied example a very rare thing indeed.Complete with a comprehensive history file, including the buff logbook, invoices from its time over the pond and later paperwork, MOTs etc.You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Surely one for the serious collectorSupplied with a NOVA Certificate showing all taxes have been paidThe R129-Series of Mercedes-Benz SL roadsters were produced from 1989 through 2002 and replaced the R107 in 1989 and were, in turn, replaced by the R230 SL-Class in 2002 for the 2003 model year. They were two-door, two-seat convertibles with an automated (electro-hydraulic), collapsible textile roof, with a shell-like, colour matched, tonneau cover. All 129s came standard with an aluminium detachable hardtop that was fitted by folding the canvas roof down and manually attaching the hardtop. The number of standard features was high, with electric operation of the windows, mirrors, seats and hydraulic convertible top, all of which paved the way towards the more innovative roof design we see today. With its 5-speed automatic gearbox coupled to a 231bhp, 3.2-litre engine, the SL320 offered a top speed of 150 mph. This superb example is finished in special order Designo Variocolour Green/Blue over Saffron leather, was ordered with a particularly high-spec and was supplied new to Jacksons-Mercedes-Benz in Guernsey in 1999. Being resident in Guernsey and spending time in a private collection explains why the car has only covered a genuine 13,776 miles. It was purchased from a private collection by the current owner, who is a Mercedes enthusiast and added to his own collection. The vehicle was used occasionally and has spent the last three years in dry storage in the UK. The owner still resides in Jersey. The SL has a comprehensive full service history, main dealer/ specialist and the original book packs and stamped service book are supplied with the car. A lovely example of the twin-carburettor, automatic gearbox CS Coupe in a striking colourLaunched in 1968, the E9 Coupe was one of the most handsome cars ever made by BMW, sleek and elegant with an airy cabin, slim windscreen pillars and a large glass areaUtilising the 3.0-litre, M30 6-cylinder, the twin carburettor CS produced a useful 180bhpNicely finished and expensive when new - the 3.0 CSA cost more in the UK than an Aston Martin DBSOnly 355 were produced in 1974 with total CSA production worldwide numbering a paltry 3,667UK-delivered in right-hand drive, this automatic CS is superbly finished in Ceylon Metallic with a lovely original interiorOriginally used as a showroom centre-piece, driven minimally and latterly stored, the car was recently fully recommissionedJust two previous keepers, 15,600 miles, lots of history, its full original book-pack and old registration bookIn 2015 our vendor was on the look-out for a low mileage, matching-numbers BMW 3.0 CS. After much searching, he came across 'UPL 610M', first ordered and owned by a Mr George Allen, of Portadown County Armagh, in Northern Ireland back in 1973. Mr Allen was a prominent local businessman and owner of a car dealership in Northern Ireland, called 'Allens Autos' (a garage sticker is still on the car) and for many years, the car was on display in their main showroom before George took up personal ownership. Given the access George Allen had to other cars, it was rarely used and by the early 1990s still had less than 16,000 miles on the clock. In November 1991, Kevin McGarrity (a Belfast-born Formula 3 racer) took ownership of the car and, right up until 2014, he kept it tucked away in a discrete lock-up garage in Londonderry. Kevin had fully intended to restore the BMW, however, by 2014 with it left unattended in the lock-up, the car was beginning to look very tired, and had deteriorated to the point where Kevin felt it was beyond his abilities. Consequently, the car was advertised on Car & Classic, where it was spotted by our vendor. After several lengthy conversations, a deal was struck, and five weeks later the car was shipped over from Belfast and delivered to the workshop of specialist classic restorers 'AV Classics' in Bedfordshire for a complete external restoration.AV Classics set about logging the extent of the work that was required along with the necessary parts. The entire interior had survived very well and it was decided to leave that intact, however, the bodywork was a different story. Although the structural integrity of the car was very good, some of the exterior panels were poor and were replaced with genuine OEM parts. The AV Classics bare-metal paint process is an exacting 14-coat procedure, using PPG paint products and 3M preparation materials. During the initial manufacturing process at BMW, as new metal is let in, it's protected by a localised application of copper spray. During the restoration, prior to commencing the respray, the copper spray protection is removed, and the shell is given a full coat of etch primer and epoxy primer which is baked for 30 minutes at 60 degrees. A thin skim of filler is applied to any areas that require final shaping and panels are filled and correctly gapped. The epoxy primer was further hand-shaped and sanded back with 80 grit and finally finished in 180 grit. This 3.0 CSA was now ready for the paint shop. The paint shop prepared the body with 3 to 4 coats of high build primer before being baked for 40 minutes at 65 degrees. After baking, the material is allowed to settle so that any sinking can take place. The primer coat is flatted and shaped by hand with 120 grit and finished in 180 grit. The shell was then re-primed with a further 3 coats of high build primer, baked again and allowed to dry before being hand blocked and flatted again with 240 grit followed by 320 grit. It was finally finished by DA sanding with 500 grit. The prepped BMW shell was now seam-sealed and was ready for the final colour application of the base coat. This BMW "Ceylon Metallic 008" (original to the car) period colour was applied in three layers followed by three coats of clear coat. The car was then low baked for 30 minutes and then left to air dry for a few days. Once all the material was cured the car was then polished. Finally, the paint was flatted and polished with progressively finer grades of papers starting with 6,000 grit ending on 12,000 grit and machine polished to create a perfect glass-like finish.AV Classics were also instructed to strip and rebuild the original mechanical parts, but wherever possible to keep the integrity and as much of the originality as possible. The original engine and transmission/running gear were dropped from the car stripped, assessed, and refurbished as required. All consumable items, brake and fuel parts, bushes and seals were replaced. Where parts were required, these in the main were sourced in Germany either from BMW Direct or through Christopher Bier, who was able to source obscure new old stock, OEM CS and CSI parts. In the spring of 2016, the car was finally reassembled, the interior (in its entirely original state) was refitted and the car was run for the first time in many years. After two short shakedown tests performed by AV Classics, the car has still covered less than 16,000 miles. Our vendor has since used his shiny BMW lightly for a couple of years, retaining its newfound pristine condition, and gradually nudging the recorded mileage towards the 16,000 miles mark. Pushed for space in his garage, he has reluctantly taken the decision to sell the car. With a recent fresh MOT, this lovely E9 just needs to be driven and enjoyed.Today, these exciting and charismatic German Grand Tourers enjoy an enthusiastic following, and well-preserved examples are increasingly sought after. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Detailed re-creation using an original, UK-supplied 911 2.4 'E' dating from 1973.Originally supplied by Malaya Garage, Billinghurst, West SussexPowered by a 3.0-litre SC engine with triple Webers rebuilt by specialist Bob WatsonPrevious competition history and RIAC competition log bookSuperbly presented in Viper Green with the correct 1973 2.7 RS graphics and black interiorComplete with Porsche Certificate of AuthenticationInspection of this superbly prepared car and its paperwork is highly recommendedPurchased by our client in 2016, this particular RS re-creation had been built some years previously and used extensively for road rallies etc, however, attention was required and so an in-depth rebuild commenced in March 2018. The vehicle was stripped to a bare shell then shot blasted to ensure that there would be no issues remaining once the build was complete. Utilising all new or fully refurbished panels and parts as required, the re-creation was completed to the very highest of standards and fully detailed throughout. Mechanically, the 3.0-litre engine, which had previously been 'breathed on' by well known Porsche mechanic Bob Watson of Bob Watson Engineering, received a full check over and was deemed fit for purpose, the gearbox, however, was found to be in need of attention and was completely rebuilt. Externally the Porsche was refinished in the desirable and instantly recognisable shade of Viper Green and fitted with the correct decals for that nod to originality, while internally a full retrim was commissioned. The project was completed in 2019 and has received little use since.Accompanied by a detailed schedule of the rebuild (£57,611), rebuild photographs, original handbooks, Malaya Garage Maintenance book, Malaya Garage invoices, and its RIAC Competition Log Book, this RS re-creation comes to market freshly serviced and with a recently issued MOT Certificate ( no advisories) that expires 07/7/2021This fabulous 911 is based on an original 1973 right-hand drive 2.4E, a valuable car in its own right, and with 'original' 2.7 RS Porsches now effectively unobtainable, this superb and highly desirable recreation is offered at a fraction of the cost of the real deal but will provide as much, if not more, enjoyment for its next custodian. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The ultimate 'wolf in sheep's clothing' of the 1990's, the 500E saloon was built to rival the BMW M5 and was created in close cooperation with Porsche. The new stealth saloon offered no visible clues on the outside except for very slightly flared wheel arches, wider tyres, and discreet side skirts. 60mph arrived in just five seconds and 100mph in just over 14 seconds, remarkable for a car with such stately presence. It was only available as a hand-built, four-door saloon in left-hand drive and the low production numbers rendered it an instant classic.Supplied by Mercedes-Benz Ahlers & Rahn S.A Canary Islands in Nautical Blue Metallic on the 11th July 1991 until bought by Prince Konstantin in 2012. The supplying Mercedes-Benz dealer on the island maintained the car until 2012 when it was brought onto the Spanish mainland and thereafter regularly maintained at Mercedes-Benz I.T.R.A-S.L. Madrid, most recently serviced by them in October 2019 at 92,240km.The extensive history file is filled with main dealer receipts and documents showing Prince Konstantin's name. Scans of the maintenance and service receipts and the service book can be emailed to interested parties. The car arrived in the UK in June and is currently on a NOVA, ready for UK or overseas registration and the UK MOT is valid until June 2021. With the odometer, at the time of cataloguing, showing some 92,600 kilometres or 57,800 miles the interior is as one would imagine. Silverstone Auctions has offered the very finest examples of the 500E over the last few years and this car is among the best, and with impeccable provenance, we welcome inspection of this car and its history file.To conclude, it is rare enough to offer an example of the eminently driveable 500E with such low mileage, but it must be unheard of to offer one from Royal ownership from. Lamborghini's remarkable "Rambo-Lambo" finished in Ice Blue over blue leatherOne of the most exciting and exclusive off-road vehicles ever conceivedThe marriage of the Countach SV supercar's 5.2-litre V12 to a functionally, some might say, brutally-styled 4x4Scintillating performance and a top speed in the region of 125mph (200km/h)Five-speed ZF heavy-duty transmission and two-speed reduction gearbox offering a choice of ten speeds and two or four-wheel driveRecent Service, Fuel system overhaul, rebuild rear brake cylinders, fresh MOT (30/06/2020 @ 24,008km)Only 24,000 km (14,925 miles) from new and finished in Ice Blue over blue leatherThe accompanying paperwork includes sundry invoices, the current MOT Certificate and V5cThe LM002's birth process began when the factory designed a military vehicle prototype in 1977, codenamed "Cheetah", which featured a rear-mounted Chrysler V8. No interest was garnered, and the prototype was then sold to Teledyne Continental Motors. Following this Lamborghini designed the LM001, which was a more road-focused iteration of the Cheetah still featuring the same rear-mounted V8.It was then decided that the rear-mounted engine created a number of handling characteristics that were unfavourable in an off-road focused vehicle, resulting in the LMA002 which featured an entirely new chassis as well as a front-mounted V12 straight from the Lamborghini Countach. Eventually, this prototype was given a serial number and saw the creation of the first example of the LM002. Unveiled at the 1986 Brussels Auto Show, the production version featured a luxurious interior complete with leather trim, power windows, air-con and a roof-mounted stereo unit. During the 1986-1993 production run, a mere 328 examples were produced. The incredible example we are thrilled to offer for sale was produced in 1987 and delivered new to Italian racing driver Mario Ricci where it would join his collection of other Lamborghinis including a Diablo and a Senna inspired LM002, which he had commissioned for use in his South African game reserve. After Ricci's death in 2001, the two LM002s were purchased by a family friend and Lamborghini collector, although the South African authorities would not agree to export the cars until 2006.The car is finished in Ice Blue over a stunning blue leather and wood interior. It has been used sparingly during its 32 years and is showing less than 15,000 miles from new. It's supplied with its original driver's handbook as well as a large amount of history including sundry invoices and MOTs. The car took part in the 1990 Monte Carlo Lamborghini Rally with the original invitation and commemorative badge being kept to this day. Some very recent attention (30/06/2020) included a Fuel System overhaul, rebuilt rear brake cylinders, full service and a fresh MOT at 24,008 km (£6,250)With its aggressive styling, impressive power plant, and luxurious interior, it is safe to say the LM002 remains a highly sought-after classic. One of only 328 produced, this sparingly driven example would be a fantastic addition to any Lamborghini collector's garage. Blistering performance, classic looks and only 25,600 miles from new.First registered on the 07/03/2003 and UK supplied in Brilliant Silver Metallic with grey leatherCivilised supercar performance sprinkled with some AMG magic dust At launch, the 5.5-litre V8 engine propelled the car to 62mph in 4.2 seconds The service book shows eight stamps, the majority of which are Mercedes-Benz main dealerExtensive spec from new to include AMG Styling Package front spoiler and side skirtAccompanied by all the book packs, older MOTs, service receipts and both keysPresented to auction with an MOT until 03/02/2021 and an odometer reading of some 25,600 (atoc)Introduced in 2002, after some five years in development, the R230 Series SL Roadster was an engineering 'tour de force'. Painstakingly modelled on a state-of-the-art supercomputer which enabled the designers to analyse every curve and line, it looked utterly sensational with an air of barely contained aggression that gave it huge road presence. Packed full of sophisticated electronic driver aids which made it immensely safe but also fun to drive, it was an instant hit with press and public alike and is widely considered to be the best-looking Mercedes for many years. The power-operated aluminium folding roof was particularly admired and would disappear into the top of the boot at the press of a button in just 16 seconds, yet still leave enough room underneath for 206 litres of luggage space. It was in 2003 that the stunning looking SL55 AMG version was introduced. Seriously powerful and massively fast, the 5.4-litre engine gave 476 BHP and a tree stump pulling 520lbs/ feet of torque!First registered on the 7th March 2003, this SL is finished in Brilliant Silver Metallic with Grey leather and Designo Alcantara headlining. The options list in 2003 was packed full of state-of-the-art equipment and, it would appear in this case, most of the boxes had been ticked. The history file is rather well stocked for such a modern car and includes many main dealers receipts and a service history that includes five main dealer stamps with three specialist stamps. Showing an odometer reading of some 26,500 miles, at the time of cataloguing this car presents incredible value for money and still holds its own against modern Mercedes. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The Spider's mechanical underpinnings were essentially the same as those of the Giulia saloon, comprising independent front suspension, coil-suspended live rear axle, and four-wheel servo-assisted disc brakes, while the engine was the Giulia Sprint GTV's 1.6-litre, double-overhead-camshaft four. The Duetto was made for just two years before being superseded in 1967 by the 1.8-litre '1750' Spider Veloce, whose nomenclature recalled that of a famous Alfa Romeo of pre-war days. Produced until 1970, the 1750 retained the Duetto's 'round tail' coachwork at first, later examples gaining the sawn-off Kamm-type tail that would characterise the following 2000 model. This rare right-hand drive 1750 Spider Veloce was sold new in the UK to the first of four owners on the 18th of May 1970. It received a total restoration between 2011 and 2012 and the history file includes an extensive photographic record of the works. From 2012, the noted Alfa Romeo specialists Alfaholics of Clevedon, Somerset maintained the car, and the relevant invoices amount to some £6,836. The car was fitted with a new black mohair hood in 2015. Offered from a private collection of Aston Martins and other exotica, our vendor tells us that he's had his fun with the car since 2018 and wants someone else to enjoy it. With an odometer reading of some 53,266 miles, at the time of cataloguing, this very pretty little car is supplied with a UK V5C, a detailed history file and an MOT until March 2021.You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. This car has been prepared to the highest standards by Richard Moore, with no expense spared, to ensure it runs at the sharp end of the grid. Richard is more than happy to speak to anyone about the car and also to anyone interested in him running the car for them if they are the successful bidder.Highlight results include 1st overall at the 2014 Goodwood Revival, 1st Silverstone Classic 2018 and 1st overall in the 2018 Masters Pre-66 Touring Car series. The Falcon was prepared to the usual high standard for the 2020 season, with over £30k of recent expenditure. Indeed, the engine has recently returned from a full rebuild at Peter Knight, with an impressive readout on file from the rolling road. Unfortunately, a change in personal circumstance has meant someone else will get to benefit from all the recent hard work.To replicate this car to this standard with all the development one has to do on a 'new' car would be 2-3 times more than today's estimate, so this is a rare and exciting opportunity. Accompanied by full FIA HTP papers, valid until end of 2026, this highly impressive Falcon has been there, done that, and is still ready to run at the sharp end in the right hands. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The Generation GT Collection, five Astons from across the decades.Supplied in Aston Racing Green with Parchment leather by JCT600, Leeds on 17/02/2002The car has had over £22,000 of maintenance and servicing works from newPart of the Generation GT Collection offered by our enthusiast vendor who bought the car in 2015With some 18,766 miles (atoc) the service book shows the last service less than 300 miles agoThe history file includes the metal covered service book and reams of receiptsPresented to auction with the incredibly rare and complete glove-box mounted accessory packAston Martin returned to the James Bond franchise in the 2002 film Die Another Day starring Pierce Brosnan as the eponymous secret agent. The film showcased the Vanquish's brutish good looks, cutting edge engineering and incredible performance. The Vanquish was built in two versions, a two-seater and what became known as the '2+2' with a couple of child-friendly rear seats filling the space that in the two-seater was occupied by a shelf for a golf bag or other luggage. Aston Martin's first power unit of its type, the 6.0-litre, 48-valve, V12 engine developed 460bhp at 6,800rpm, with 400lb/ft of torque available at 5,500 revs. A pleasing blend of up-to-the-minute technology and traditional materials, the interior was dominated by an imposing aluminium centre console extending from fascia to transmission tunnel. Connolly leather upholstery, Wilton carpeting and quilted Alcantara headlining emphasised its Aston Martin heritage for, despite its advanced specification, the Vanquish was built like all other Astons before it, one at a time and by hand. Production ceased in 2007, by which time the model had been upgraded as the Vanquish 'S' and the UK list price had risen to over £185,000.Supplied by JCT600 in February 2002, the Aston Martin Racing Green paintwork is complemented by Fern Green upper trim, Parchment Lower trim and Fern Green carpeting with Parchment Alcantara headlining. The service book shows fourteen main dealer and specialists stamps. Invoices show this Vanquish has had nothing but the very finest care with over £22,000 worth of maintenance and servicing despite the low mileage of some 18,766 at the time of cataloguing. Our vendor purchased the car in 2015 noting the rarity of the colour combination having seen too many examples of the Vanquish in "Bond Silver".The car presents very well and features the incredibly rare and complete glove-box mounted accessory pack which includes a branded metal-bound notebook, tyre pressure gauge, a Leatherman-type multi-tool and torch all in a fitted casement. The history file is extensive and includes the aforementioned invoices and the service book notes the last service on 11 September 2019 at 18,479 miles with an MOT Certificate valid until November 2020 together with the V5C. Further included are a fitted car cover and battery conditioner. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Ford's 1974 flagship Escort restored to a standard rarely achievedThe Escort RS 2000 was the last car to be introduced to Ford's Advanced Vehicle rangeTotal rebuild by ASM Classics and restored to factory standard specificationFinished in Olympic Blue with a lovely interior. Showroom quality engine bayVery rare Green Glass option remains fittedApproximately 200 miles since completion and as clean underneath as it is on topYour earliest inspection is encouraged and welcomedThe Escort RS2000 was the last car to be introduced to Ford's 'Advanced Vehicle' range in June of 1973 and dovetailed nicely with its performance almost comparable to the more complex RS1600, but with the reliability and ease of maintenance of the Mexico. The car used the same Type 49 bodyshell as the Mexico and RS1600, however, there was a new engine in use at Ford, the 2-litre overhead cam, 100bhp, 'Pinto' design, which seemed, on paper, ideal for the RS. Fords then had the major problem of persuading the new bulky Pinto engine to fit into the engine bay, which was something it had never been designed to do. The only way of achieving this was by discarding the engine-driven cooling fan and replacing it with a thermostatically controlled Kenlowe unit. The most appropriate gearbox was the German 'E-box', which was totally different to the one fitted to the RS1600, and the final drive was 3.54:1. The car was launched in England on 11th October 1973 priced at £1,586.Andy Stapley of ASM Classics, a well-respected authority on all things Ford has been responsible for the restoration of this remarkable RS 2000 to a standard rarely achieved. The car had languished for many years awaiting its turn to be put back on the road and consequently, it had suffered in the meantime with extensive restoration being required. Andy Stapley was commissioned around 2014 to take on the project and, with the job assessed and works commenced, it clearly became evident that a 'total' build was required. Halfway through the rejuvenation, the project stalled unfortunately and the RS was put on the back burner once again. Eventually, a new custodian was found and work commenced in earnest. With ASM being the go-to company for projects of this stature a decision was made to complete the rebuild to factory specification and as it would have rolled off the production line in 1974, without modification, which is becoming the norm for so many of these 1970/1980's Fast Ford restorations. However subtle enhancements have been hidden within the vehicle such as an alloy radiator and a Kenlowe fan, discreetly fitted and made to look like the original spec. items. Once complete, and after only covering some 10 miles, the factory-fresh Ford was sold on to its present owner to take its place in his impressive Ford collection. The standard of the RS 2000 on offer here, is quite simply stunning, from the Olympic Blue exterior finish through the immaculate interior to the detailed engine bay and perfect underside. The restoration has been carried out to a very high standard, panel fit is superb throughout, the chrome work is bright and untarnished, and the doors open and close with a solid thud with no sign of droop or misalignment. Internally the cloth seats are in excellent order and are complemented by superb door cards and carpet set. Even the very rare option of 'tinted green glass' is still in place. Having covered only a very few hundred miles since completion, a further period of running in is recommended before the real enjoyment commences. This Mk1 RS would be most welcome at any Ford event or in fact any other motoring event such is its quality. With so many vehicles of this era receiving partial or amateur restorations, this stand-out example ticks all the boxes and then some. If it's the best that you had in mind, then look no further. All credit to ASM for the quality of the finished article that would be almost impossible to replicate within the sensible estimates guided here. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. FIA HTP papers (31/12/2029) Period F (1962 - 1965) Class GTS 12Most recent MOT is dated 2018. Current V5c and still usable on the roadAn exciting opportunity for an enthusiast who wants to aim for higher-profile events. Surely Classic Le Mans, Tour Auto and Goodwood all beckon as future possibilities Early production, Series 1 E-types are both extremely rare and very collectable so Silverstone Auctions are very privileged to be offering, not one, but two cars from these early days in our forthcoming Silverstone Classic Online Sale. This car ~ Chassis no. 850051 ~ was the 51st E-Type to be produced at Browns Lane (the Heritage Certificate confirms the date of manufacture as 22nd June 1961) and is part of the, historically significant, initial batch of 64 UK dealer demonstrators. It was despatched to the West Country where South Devon Garages Ltd of Torquay eagerly took delivery of their Opalescent Silver Grey demonstrator with red leather upholstery and a black soft top and they quickly sold it to its first recorded keeper, Mr E.G.Dawes of Torquay. At the time, Jaguar dealers were under strict instructions not to sell their E-type demonstrators but as a close friend of Tommy Sopwith and John Coombs, fellow powerboat racers and Jaguar racers a few strings were pulled! He appears to have upgraded the car early on for sprints/hill climbs and club racing. The history file is comprehensive and it would be worthwhile for the car's new owner to investigate further #850051's long and intriguing history. However, with limited research, the file suggests that in 2001 the car was owned by noted Ferrari Formula One driver, Eddie Irvine, and he subsequently sent it to J.D.Classics for an upgrade to their 'lightweight replica' specification. The invoice for this totalled a substantial £25,056 and is fully detailed but, suffice it to say, the Jaguar was now in seriously fast road specification as a factory 'Lightweight Evocation' with lots of external body upgrades, including a vented hardtop, boot lid, perspex headlamp covers, Le Mans-spec front sill darts, Dunlop-pattern peg-drive alloy wheels with 3-eared spinners, and a competition-spec engine running triple Weber 48DCOEs. The cockpit was fitted with competition harnesses, racing seats and a padded transmission tunnel and under the bonnet, were many upgrades to both the engine and the brakes as fully detailed in the paperwork. It was, perhaps, the ultimate road-going E-Type spec of that era.At one point it was purchased by Silverstone Auctions owner, Nick Whale, and used enthusiastically on fast road rallies. Later, the file shows it was sold through the auspices of, highly esteemed, Eagle E-Types as a used car worthy of their reputation. Various owners have come and gone according to the paperwork, although most recently there is an invoice on file for £215,000 when #850051 was sold by Hofmanns of Henley on Thames to our vendor.Today, it's now in full racing competition spec and carries current FIA HTP papers for period F (1962 -1965) Class GTS 12 which are valid until 31-12-2029. The most recent MOT is dated 2018 and, as the car still has a current V5C, it is still useable on the road as well as the track, meaning this early fully-historied car is an interesting proposition for International Rallies and Tours that specialise in genuine period cars.An exciting opportunity for an enthusiast who wants to aim for higher-profile events. Very smart, virtually new Donkey Brown soft topThe engine benefits from electronic ignition and has recently been servicedComplete with Heritage Certificate, owners and workshop manuals and a wealth of historyWith only 2,645 built, these are rare cars and, whilst a little quirky, remain sought-after classicsAn unusual departure for a firm more noted for its stately limousines, the SP250 sports car was Daimler's final fling before its acquisition by Jaguar. Aimed at the North American market and launched in 1959, the SP250 employed a separate ladder-type chassis on which sat controversially styled fibreglass coachwork manufactured by Daimler themselves. Four-wheel disc brakes were an unusual feature at the time but unquestionably the car's biggest virtue was its magnificent 2.5-litre V8 engine. An outstandingly flexible unit, the smaller of Daimler's two Edward Turner designed V8's produced 140bhp, an output good enough to propel the SP250 to a top speed of 125mph. In keeping with the demands of its intended market, automatic transmission was available as an option. This Daimler SP250 Dart is a very early, first-year production car, supplied new in November 1959 by famous Birmingham motor dealers Reeve & Stedeford. This early model Dart is the eighth right-hand-drive example built, just two after the British Motor Show example (100576). This rare car has been in long term ownership with only one previous owner listed on the logbook and is supplied with its Heritage Certificate, workshop manual, original owner's handbook, and a history file of invoices and previous MOTs.This car has been cherished as is evident from the factory-supplied tan leather interior, which is free from rips or tears. The Ivory Paintwork looks stunning, having recently benefitted from a £5,000 refresh that was taken back to the gel coat. The brown convertible cover and the cream tonneau cover both appear in great condition and complement the paintwork nicely.Mechanically, the Edward Turner-designed 2.5-litre V8 is described as reliable and said to start with no hesitation and idle with ease. This is no surprise, as the vehicle has had a recent service including a new dynamo and fuel pump and no expense has been spared, with even the wiring loom being replaced in recent years for peace of mind. A superbly presented, low ownership Mk2 with just 9,500 milesA late production face-lift Mk2 specified for driving purity with 2WD and a manual gearboxJust 9,500 miles from new and in amazing condition wholly commensurate with the low mileage and diligent ownership by just two previous keepers3.6-litre dry-sumped, water-cooled flat-6 with 320PS. 0-62mph in 4.9 seconds and a top speed of 178 mphTastefully finished in Polar Silver and optioned with a factory-fitted Aero Kit and Sports exhaustFull service history - most recent major service just over 1,000 miles agoSupplied with a complete book-pack and spare keysProduced from 1997 to 2004, the 996 received the first all-new platform in the 911's 34-year existence, but was controversial at the time of its launch mainly because it was the first 911 to switch from air to water-cooling. In 1998, Car and Driver put the Carrera 2 up against the Ferrari 355 and the Porsche came out on top. Furthermore, it was prized as the EVO Magazine car of the year with "its ability to be approachable and accessible like a sports car, but still with the ability to inspire awe like a supercar... on the road its purity of purpose, poise, finesse and honed athleticism allowed it to dominate a test that included the Ferrari F355 and Elise 135".The base model, the Carrera 2, is now rightly regarded as the purest, most driver-focused model in the range, being rear-wheel drive, with three pedals, and has a beautiful naturally aspirated flat-six. It's the lightest water-cooled 911 you can buy, the same-generation GT3 included. It's also 80kg lighter than the air-cooled 993 predecessor, which is 50% wobblier. And you still get the rear +2 seats, as a 996 is 18.5cm longer than the previous 993.The car presented here is C16 (UK-supplied), last-year-of-production Mk2 (face-lifted) model, with the staggeringly low mileage of just 9,500. It really must be seen to be fully appreciated, this cossetted example really is in superb original condition and still retains that distinctive 'new car smell'. It was delivered new on the 3rd of January 2004 via Porsche Centre Aberdeen and returned a further three times for a service at 3,175 miles, 5,014 miles, and 6,795 miles, all with its first owner who kept it until 2017. Our vendor acquired the car later in 2017, through Porsche specialist Steve Bull. He, in turn, kept this lovely Porsche in the manner to which it had become accustomed and it has always been garaged and was serviced (including a belt change) at Cotswold Porsche Specialists at 8,382 miles. With a complete book-pack, including its original service booklet, an as-new full key set and invoices for maintenance, this is simply the nicest 996 C2 we have ever offered for sale and it must be one of the best available anywhere currently. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Superb, left-hand drive Series 1 4.2 that spent its early days in the USDelightfully presented in Willow Green over magnolia with a black hoodKnown history from day one with only three owners since new in 1967Fresh paint and a re-trim in South Carolina in the early 2000sOn the Concours circuit in the States during 2013 with much successImported to the UK and a total engine rebuild by E-Type UK. Matching numbersRemaining in superb condition throughout, a really pretty carYour earliest inspection is encouraged and welcomedBuilt towards the end of Series 1 production, this beautifully original E-Type found its first home in Seattle, Washington State with John M Fernandez before passing to its second custodian, Peter Wilzbach, in South Carolina in the late 1990s. Clearly in need of a little TLC by this time, over the next few years, the Jaguar was regularly used but received attention as and when required and this included a fresh coat of Willow Green paint and a full retrim, with the remainder of the car being checked and detailed where needed. The body is believed to be still wearing its original panels and under the outer skin, all remains superbly original with the correct stampings in place, the front frame being the most obvious. It was during this period that the E-Type embarked on a successful stint on the Concours show circuit winning 'Best Jaguar in Class' within the Jaguar Clubs of North America in 2013 scoring a tremendous 99.4%, and the trophy remains with the car to this day. Shortly after, the car was advertised for sale in Hemmings Motor News and sold on the first day to our vendor who flew from London and when he saw the car, was so impressed that he paid the asking price, shipping the car back to the UK to join his small collection. On its arrival, a program of mechanical works was decided upon to raise the vehicle to its current level. This included a total strip and rebuild of the engine by E-Type UK, rear axle removal, a diff rebuild including a change to Euro-spec diff ratios and the car was fully detailed before everything was reunited. Remaining in superb condition throughout and still with its original toolkit in place, this genuine three-owner E-Type is an absolute delight. On the button, sensibly guided and waiting for only its fourth proud owner since leaving the factory on 15 February 1967, this is an excellent opportunity to own a cared for Series 1 in one of the most attractive colour combinations we have seen. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Offered from a private collectionDance on the pedals and enjoy the 'click-clack' of that open gate with the wind in your hair and the rasp of that glorious V8 soundtrack over your shoulder. A wonderful introduction to classic Ferrari ownershipIn late 1993, the 348 was revised, with a few subtle styling changes (front grille, rear chrome Cavallino, and removable seat cushions), and now boasted 320bhp from the same 3.4-litre engine in F119H-spec with an increased compression ratio (10.8-1), modified camshaft timing, a new exhaust, and a Bosch Motronic 2.7, engine management system. This delightful, right-hand drive Ferrari 348 Spider was delivered new on 02 August 1994 to its first owner by Lancaster Ferrari, Colchester main agents. Specified from new in Giallo Modena with a black leather interior and a black hood, great colours for a 348, this example presents almost as well as the day it was collected new from the showroom with the paintwork still retaining a deep gloss and the interior displaying minimal wear. Clearly well looked after over the years as evidenced by its overall condition and the original service book stamped up-to-date with 11 stamps from main dealers or highly regarded marque specialists (most recent in October 2019 at 18,805 miles). The car is accompanied by the original leather-bound Ferrari book-pack containing the owner's manuals, a fresh MOT showing no advisories (valid until 22 June 2021), the tonneau cover, tool kit and spare keys. On offer from a significant private collection, it's believed that Ferrari UK only imported 68 right-hand drive Spiders, making this a very rare car. Well maintained and nicely presented DB6 ready to enjoy.Low ownership, matching chassis and engine number, ZF five-speed manual gearboxContinuation green logbook, cloth cover, original handbook, workshop manual, Heritage Certificate, sundry old MOTs dating back to 1974 and numerous parts receiptsOver £30,000 recently spent on mechanicals at Aston Martin Engineering DerbyUnleaded cylinder head conversion (Aston Engineering). Right-hand drive, 81,000 miles The culmination of Aston Martin's long-running line of DB six-cylinder sports saloons and thus considered by many to be the last 'real' Aston, the DB6 was introduced in 1965, updating the DB5. Although recognisably related to the Touring-styled DB4 of 1958, the DB6 abandoned the Carrozzeria Touring-developed Superleggera body structure of its predecessors in favour of conventional steel fabrication whilst retaining the aluminium outer panels.Increased rear-seat space was the prime DB6 objective so the wheelbase was now four inches longer than before, resulting in an extensive restyle with more-raked windscreen, raised roofline and reshaped rear quarter windows. Opening front quarter lights made a reappearance but the major change was at the rear where a 'Kamm tail' with spoiler improved the aerodynamics, greatly enhancing stability at high speeds. These many dimensional changes were integrated most successfully, as the DB6's overall length increased by only two inches. The Tadek Marek-designed six-cylinder engine had been enlarged to 3,995cc for the preceding DB5 and remained unchanged. Power output on triple SU carburettors was 282bhp, rising to 325bhp in Vantage specification, complete with triple Webers. Borg-Warner automatic transmission was offered alongside the standard ZF five-speed gearbox, and for the first time, there was optional power-assisted steering.First registered in Newcastle-upon-Tyne as 'LVK 37D' on 11th January 1966, this particular matching chassis and engine example, chassis DB6/2470/R, has clearly led an interesting life with previous owners enjoying the car for long periods of time. Details of the car's life and work carried out over the years are contained within the interesting owner's file, and we thoroughly recommend interested parties make an appointment to come along and have a look for themselves. The factory-fitted engine (number 400/2379) has had its cylinder head converted to unleaded by Aston Engineering and, during our vendor's ownership, over £30,000 has been spent on the mechanicals at Aston Martin Engineering Derby, to ensure this DB6 drives as well as it looks. One for the true DB6 enthusiast, this appealing Aston shows a highly credible 81,000 miles on its odometer and is offered for sale with continuation green logbook, cloth cover, original handbook, workshop manual, Heritage Certificate, sundry old MOTs dating back to 1974, and numerous parts receipts. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. One US owner and one UK owner from new and just 25,850 miles.Bought directly from the first US owner and registered in the UK in 2017 by our vendorA manual gearbox car with 25,850 miles (atoc) and an MOT until June 2021Detailed history file that includes invoices, handbooks and service booksFitted car cover, original owners kit and the V5c showing one former keeperThe DeLorean DMC-12 is acknowledged as a must-have for any enthusiast and very few are just two owners from new.The DeLorean DMC-12 was a ground-breaking, innovative sports car manufactured by John DeLorean's 'DeLorean Motor Company' for the American market from 1981-83. The car featured gull-wing doors and an unusual fibreglass chassis and underbody structure, along with a brushed stainless steel body and is probably most widely known for its appearance as a time machine in the 'Back to the Future' film trilogy. It was designed by the talented Giorgetto Giugiaro of Ital Design and built on a chassis engineered by Lotus with a 2.9-litre V6 engine sourced from Peugeot-Renault-Volvo. This rare, five-speed manual example was manufactured in Belfast in 1981, shipped to the United States and remained with the first owner in Florida until being purchased directly from him by our vendor. Registered in the UK to the importing shipping agent on 1st May 2017, the car was subsequently registered to our vendor three days later on the 4th May.The car features the desirable grey leather interior, as seen in the movie car, original radio and clock with no apparent cracking to the dashboard which is a common fault with the DMC-12. The history file is extensive and includes the service history, a copy of the purchase agreement, original cleaning kit, original spare wheel, DMC cover, and a large quantity of American paperwork relating to servicing works. To this consignor's eye, the alloys wheels could do with being refurbished to correct the surface reaction. Supplied to auction with an MOT valid until June 2021 and a UK V5C.You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. A rare low production run Bentley in stunning order throughout.Number 130 of a total production run of 148Comprehensive history file with known ownership from day oneRREC aficionado owned and maintainedChosen as Best Example of the Model at the RREC Annual Rally at Burghley House in 2019A rare low production run Bentley in stunning order throughoutYour earliest inspection is encouraged and welcomedIntroduced in 1991, the Continental R was the first Bentley in 26 years that did not share its bodywork with a concurrent Rolls-Royce model and was inspired by the very stylish Continental R-Type of the 1950s. The elegant two-door coachwork was styled by John Heffernan and Ken Greenley, a duo whose résumé included sports cars like the Aston Martin Virage. At £175,000, however, this newcomer was one of the world's most expensive cars, although at least it was also one of the fastest. At launch, this latest Continental used the familiar 6.75-litre V8 with a big Garrett turbocharger and an intercooler in the same state of tune as in the Bentley Turbo R. Crewe still declined to provide official power outputs at the time, although it's estimated that around 325bhp was on tap, along with a huge amount of torque. Top speed was governed to 145mph, with 60mph arriving in just 6.6 seconds - all in a car weighing around 2.5 tons, on a 120-inch wheelbase and with an overall length of 17.5 feet!Five years later Bentley introduced a short-wheelbase version dubbed the Continental T that was equipped with an uprated engine developing 420 hp and an impressive 650 foot-pounds of torque available at only 2,200 rpm and it wasn't long before Bentley customers were expressing an interest in equipping the "wide-body" Continental R model with the T's more powerful engine. Shortly afterwards, the Continental R Mulliner was introduced at the 1999 Geneva Salon, its nomenclature paying homage to H.J. Mulliner, the British coachbuilder responsible for the original R-Type's breathtaking fastback bodywork. The R Mulliner's wide-body configuration offered spacious interior elegance restoring the rear legroom lost in the 'T', while the turbocharged V-8 was capable of rocketing the car to a top speed of nearly 170 mph. Individually tailored to customer order, the R Mulliner was Bentley's ultimate 20th-century combination of luxury and performance, produced in a modest quantity of as few as 148 examples. This superb example is finished in Silver Storm over Nero leather and is one of only thirteen produced in 2002 out of a total production run of just sixty-three right-hand-drive cars. Although the dealer's list price was a, not unsubstantial, £225,000 the first owner of this particular 'R' obviously did not leave too many of the boxes on the 'Options List' unticked as the final purchase price just over £242,000 in May 2002. The entire production run (1992 - 2003) amounted to just 148 in 'wide-body' configuration and our vendor's car is Number 130. In exceptional condition throughout and with a recorded mileage of just 32,338, this four owner from new and retired engineer owned Bentley is accompanied by a total and comprehensive service history including detailed invoices and every prior MOT and is offered freshly serviced and with a recently issued MOT Certificate. Our vendor is a very knowledgeable RREC and BDC supporter and although the car is regularly used, it remains beautifully presented as illustrated by being chosen as the Best Example of the Model in the 100 years of Bentley parade at the RREC Annual Rally at Burghley House in 2019.This is an opportunity to acquire one of the very best, if not the best Bentley 'Wide-body' on the road today. These desirable models are rightfully stretching their legs in the classic car market, so don't miss out before these rare sporting Bentleys arrive in six-figure territory. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. A former Porsche Club GB Concours winnerThe 993 was the final generation of air-cooled 911s, and as such will always have a special place in the affections of Porsche enthusiastsOwned by our vendor, a long-time Porsche Centre principal and marque aficionado, since 2012 who ensured it was serviced every yearPrior to our vendor's purchase, it was completely checked over by senior Porsche Gold Standard technicians, who both gave it an excellent mechanical rating, plus the official Porsche repairers who confirmed it had never had any major bodywork repairsOriginal service book is complete, with all servicing, except one, being done at Porsche CentresWinner of a Porsche Club GB Concours event (with circa 80 cars in attendance) in 2015Fitted with a new Porsche factory Cabriolet roof and mechanismIn 1993 Porsche introduced what is regarded by many as the most beautiful 911 of all: the Type 993. Over the years the 911 had received numerous aerodynamic and safety-inspired add-ons, diluting the purity of the original form; the Type 993's arrival marked a return to basic principles, being recognisably a 911 but one in which all functions had been harmoniously integrated in a truly outstanding example of modern automotive styling. The range offered remained pretty much as before, comprising conventional two-wheel (Carrera 2) and four-wheel drive (Carrera 4) models, the legendary Turbo and the Cabriolet convertible, all powered by the latest, 3.6-litre version of Porsche's perennial flat-six engine. The Carrera, Carrera S, Cabriolet and Targa models (2WD) were available with a Tiptronic four-speed automatic transmission. The car presented here is a 1994 Porsche 911 (993) Cabriolet Tiptronic in attractive Iris Blue Metallic paintwork with a Marble Grey interior. Delivered new on the 12th August 1994 through Porsche AFN of London, the car has had just three previous keepers; the current one (our vendor) from 2012, has spent his professional life as a Porsche Centre Principal - so he knows a good Porsche! Prior to his purchase, it was completely checked over by senior Porsche 'Gold Standard' technicians, who both gave it an excellent mechanical rating, plus the official Porsche repairers who confirmed it had never had any major bodywork repair. With a complete service history, regular maintenance, and fastidious ownership, quite rightly the car won a Porsche Club GB Concours event (with circa 80 cars in attendance) in 2015. It was also on display in a Porsche Centre to showcase past models. Supplied with an impressive history file, full of invoices for maintenance, a Porsche COA, its complete book-pack (including a fully stamped-up service booklet), this particularly healthy car is in exceptional condition for its age/mileage (101,334). 993s are special Porsches and there are not many examples left like this, especially at such a tempting guide price. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Hailed by its maker as, "the world's best convertible", the Azure lived up to that grand title, proving an immense success especially in North America where its combination of unmatched luxury, effortless performance, and soft-top style was found highly attractive. From 1999 until the end of production, the Azure was also available in Mulliner 'Wide Body' specification. Introduced at the 1999 Geneva Motor Show, the aggressive-looking Mulliner could be ordered with special bespoke trim and additional equipment and permitted the buyer the option of further customisation during the build process. Pricing varied by car, as equipment could be significantly different from one to the next depending on customer requirements. For the Azure Mulliner, Bentley's 6.75-litre V8 engine was up-rated, producing a maximum of 420bhp and 645lb/ft of torque, while the suspension was stiffened to improve the road-holding. When production ceased in 2003 a total of 1,403 Azures of all types had been built, of which only 154 were Mulliner 'Wide Body' models and just 23 in right-hand drive. The ultimate Azure, the Mulliner 'Wide Body' represents the height of motoring luxury and elegance; top-down touring was never more exclusive or brutish in looks.Supplied by H.R. A fine example with a freshly rebuilt engine.Registered to the first of four former keepers on the 09/02/2001A well-specified range-topping Autobiography HSE finished in smart Bonatti GreyThe 4.0-litre petrol V8 of the HSE provides smooth acceleration amid acres of wood and leatherThe service history is well documented and supports the mileage of some 42,000 milesRecently had new discs and pads all roundThis car has just had a complete rebuild of the original engine and is now running inOffering a more refined experience compared to its predecessor, the P38 is rarely found in this conditionFollowing the enormous success of the original Range Rover and its successively more luxurious upgrades, Land Rover introduced a new model, designated P38, in 1994. Produced up to 2001, the P38 was considerably better appointed than its predecessor and became the benchmark for luxury motoring in town and county. The all-new Range Rover could be ordered with a choice of three engine options: 4.0-litre and 4.6-litre petrol units or the BMW sourced 2.5-litre diesel, with many opting for the diesel. Various equipment levels were available but the Range Rover Autobiography rivalled the best from Mercedes-Benz and Jaguar when it came to luxurious interiors. The successor to the P38, the Range Rover L322, was being developed in late 2001 and, mindful of demand for the soon to be released new model, the final P38 ranges were exceptionally well equipped. This 2001 Autobiography 4.0 HSE in Bonnati Grey was sold by Guy Salmon Land Rover, Stratford-upon-Avon on the 09/02/2001 to the first of three former keepers and it is believed to have been a press car. It was bought by our vendor, the proprietor of a garage specialising in Land Rover and Range Rovers, for his personal use in 2013. Naturally, as the boss' car, the Range Rover has been carefully looked after in the workshop.Such is the condition of this car and our vendor's reputation within Land Rover circles that it was selected by Jaguar Land Rover to be displayed at the 70th Anniversary celebrations for Land Rover at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2017. It took part in the parade lap and later, during a conversation with a knowledgeable enthusiast, our vendor was told that it was one of just four such cars built. We have been unable to substantiate this claim but it will make for some interesting research by the next owner. The odometer reading of just under 42,000 miles is substantiated by the entries in the original service book.It is presented to auction with a history file that includes that service book, reams of receipts and old MOTs - with the current valid until November 2020. The car has recently had new discs and pads all round, but more importantly, a complete engine rebuild of the original engine with new liners, 8 new pistons, skimmed heads and other sundries to complete the build and as such is currently just running in! As the successor to the iconic Range Rover Classic, the P38 had a tough act to follow, but in recent years the P38's enhanced driving experience has meant that it has found its place within the Range Rover line up.You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. One of only 107 Mk II cars with the sportier 6.2-litre V8 and now superbly restoredSold through Newbury Motors of Halesowen in January 1971 to Mr DE Sharpe of ScunthorpePurchased by Ian Orford, Managing Director of Jensen Cars Ltd. in 1987 but not usedFully restored between 2015 - 2018 when it was returned to its original colour of Pimpernel RedUpgrades included a Retrosounds DAB radio, iPod connectivity and modern cooling fansRecently treated by our vendor to a back-to-metal, glass-out respray at a cost of £15,000 and a set of the correct alloy wheels with Michelin XWX tyresGood history file, parts invoices, DVLA vehicle records, MOT to June 2020 with no advisories, vehicle build & specification sheet and a full photographic compilation of its restorationUnveiled in 1966, at the London Motor Show, the Jensen FF was immediately voted 'Car of the Year' by the motoring press based on its outstanding technical ability. "FF" stood for Ferguson Formula, the four-wheel-drive system developed by Harry Ferguson for racing cars, that split the torque unequally between the front and rear wheels to give the car unheard of handling qualities for a big GT car of the mid-60s. This combined with Dunlop Maxaret anti-lock braking - another first - is what led the pundits to call the FF the "World's safest car".In October 1969, a significant number of improvements heralded the arrival of the 'MkII'. The newcomer incorporated revised front suspension and Girling brakes as well as a new front bumper and countless minor alterations, however, the main improvement was a completely redesigned interior featuring a new dashboard and seats. Mechanical changes to the FF kept abreast of those made to the standard Interceptor, although, there were numerous subtle differences, the most obvious being the FF's twin side vents. Looking almost identical to the standard Interceptor, it was actually nine inches longer in the bonnet to accommodate the extra space needed for a front differential. Priced at around 30% above the Interceptor, itself not a cheap car, the FF was the privilege of a wealthy few, and when production ceased in 1972 only 302 had been made. This 1971 FF was originally ordered in late 1970 from Jensen by German Distributor GHS, however, plans subsequently changed and the car was prepared for the UK Market and sold through Newbury Motors of Halesowen in January 1971 to Mr DE Sharpe of Starco Engineering, Scunthorpe. It's original registration number was PWP 646J and the history file shows various warranty claims and a regular service voucher at 36,000 miles in 1973.Little is known of the car during the intervening years until it was purchased and registered to Mrs Atterbury of Brierley Hill in 1979 until mid-1980 when her husband became the registered keeper until June 1987. The car was subsequently purchased by Ian Orford, Managing Director of Jensen Cars Ltd. in 1987 and at this point, it appears that the car had been repainted blue with a vinyl roof and acquired the registration 6 DNX. For some reason, the FF was left languishing at the rear of the Jensen Motors Ltd. Kelvin Way factory partially dismantled until it was rescued in 1989 by a Mr Winter of Sevenoaks. Winter retained the car until he passed away in 2003 when his good friend and renowned Jensen enthusiast Tom Scullane purchased the car and in 2004, his daughter passed the car onto the owner prior to our vendor. The FF was dry-stored for a number of years before being fully restored between 2015-2018 when it was returned to its original colour of Pimpernel Red. The defective speedometer was changed during this time. The restoration was comprehensive with many NOS panels and a new floor, stainless steel fuel tank and new bumpers. On the mechanical side, the gearbox and engine were rebuilt, the latter by Geoff Hauser, the braking system was fully overhauled, whilst the interior was beautifully refurbished with seat belts front and rear. Subtle modern upgrades included a Retrosounds DAB radio, with iPod and telephone connectivity, and upgraded modern cooling fans. In all, there are invoices on file for more than £20,000. Finally, back on its feet, this well-travelled FF was purchased by our vendor, lightly used and dry-stored for a short period before he, in turn, felt the need to take the FF up to another level with a full, back-to-metal, glass-out respray at a cost of £15,000 and a set of the correct alloy wheels with Michelin XWX tyres.A well-kept history file accompanies the car and contains parts invoices, DVLA vehicle records for the car when on its' previous plate '6 DNX', the V5c, an MOT to June 2020 with no advisories, vehicle build & spec sheet and a full photographic compilation of its restoration. The MkII Jensen FF (of which just 107 were made) is widely considered to be the best of the lot, fitted as it is with the sportier 6.2-litre V8 rather than the softer 7.2-litre unit of the MkIII. This has to be one of the best of the few FFs still in existence in freshly restored condition and, with this rare model continuing to strengthen in the market, may well be a shrewd investment! You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Impressively restored, post-war T-Series Midget fitted with desirable upgrades.A left-hand drive, California car that returned to the UK in 2011Thoroughly restored; chassis stripped and rebuilt, bare metal respray, new wiring loom, seats and brightwork, new leather interior, superior carpet set, new side screens and soft top, short tonneau coverEngine bored out to 1380cc and fully balanced. Fitted with a fully rebuilt, 5-speed, Ford Type-9 gearboxDocumentation from the USA including receipts for repairs and maintenance, along with UK MOTs, a multitude of invoices from the restoration, a memory stick of images of the car and a current V5cThere is no point in being modest, this is one of the best T-Series restorations that we have ever seenThe penultimate T-Series Midget, the TD, appeared in 1949. A continuation of the 1930s designed TC, The TD heralded some well-received post-war refinements; independent front suspension, rack and pinion steering, steel wheels, and the availability of left-hand drive, made the TD an appealing motorcar for the export market. When production of the TD finished in 1953 it's reported that all but around 1,650 of the 30,000 cars produced were exported, with 23,000 or so heading to the USA alone, this very car amongst them.Supplied originally to California this lovely MGTD was used as a daily driver for the first 70,000 miles of its life before returning home in 2011. It then underwent a thorough restoration by its previous custodian; chassis stripped and rebuilt, bare metal respray, new wiring loom, seats and brightwork, engine bored out to 1380cc and fully balanced, fitted with a fully rebuilt, 5-speed, Ford Type-9 gearbox, new leather interior, superior carpet set, new side screens and soft top, short tonneau cover. After being purchased by its current owner, the car has been driven sparingly and stored indoors undercover and we understand that the little MG starts, runs and drives very nicely indeed. The generous history file shows documentation from the USA including receipts for repairs and maintenance, along with UK MOTs, a multitude of invoices from the restoration, a memory stick of images of the car and a current V5 certificate.A superbly presented example in MG-Red with a Biscuit leather interior, this lovely 1953 MGTD is primed and ready for adventure. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. **Sale Room Announcement** Vendor will fix leaking window switch at their expense post sale.Extensively and expensively recommissioned, the ultimate 'Grand Mercedes'. Stylishly presented in Anthracite Grey Metallic paint with a tan interiorRecently subject to extensive recommissioning work at a cost of over £29,000Hydraulics and braking system overhauled, air suspension stripped, vacuum system and tank testedNew Pullman-spec airbags, interior refurbished, bumpers chromed plus a deep cleanCopies of the original Factory Data Card. On a NOVA number and ready for UK registrationA rare and desirable motorcar, exhibiting cutting edge 1960's luxury, engineering and styleThe Mercedes-Benz 600 was a line of ultra-luxury cars produced between 1963 to 1981. A forerunner of the modern Maybach marque, the 600 was the company's flagship and most expensive model. Among the variety of 600 models produced was the long-wheelbase four-door "Pullman" limousine, with two additional rear-facing seats separated from the driver's compartment by a power divider window. Just 429 of these substantial motor cars were built, including the superb example on offer here. This home-market car was delivered new to the German company "Alpine" in 1964, presumably to transport important staff and clients, before the company was subject to a take-over by a Japanese firm around 20 years ago. As a company asset, the vehicle then made its way over to Japan where it spent many years before being purchased by our vendor and brought to the UK.Representing state-of-the-art automotive engineering of the era in just about every department, this supremely well-equipped luxury car featured four-speed automatic transmission, all-round disc brakes, power-assisted steering, central locking, separate air conditioning systems for the front and rear compartments, and insulated glass all round. The 600 Pullman's great size, weight, and numerous hydraulically driven amenities required more power than Mercedes' largest engine at that time could produce. A new V8 with more than twice the capacity was developed, the 6.3-litre M100. Featuring single overhead camshafts (SOHC) and Bosch mechanical fuel injection, it developed around 250bhp offering highly respectable performance, reaching 60mph in a little under 10 seconds and exceeding 125mph flat out.One of the most notable features of these models is their sophisticated 150-bar (2,176 psi) hydraulic pressure system which operates the multi-way adjustable seating, windows, opening and closing of doors and boot lid, whilst adjustable air suspension delivers variable control, excellent ride quality and sure handling over any road surface.Stylishly presented in Anthracite Grey Metallic paint with Tan interior, the car has been subject to extensive recommissioning work at a cost of over £29,000. This attention includes; overhaul of the hydraulics and braking system, air suspension stripped and sent to the leading specialist in Germany to be worked on, vacuum tank tested, new Pullman-spec airbags on all sides as well as having the interior refurbished, bumpers chromed plus a deep clean and pre-sale detail. The car is accompanied by copies of the original Factory Data Card showing the vehicle specification and sale to 'Alpine' in Augsburg, Germany. Also supplied is a printout from Mercedes-Benz confirming the vehicle details and invoices for recent works to the hydraulics and suspension plus new tyres. The car has a NOVA number and is ready for UK registration. A rare and desirable motorcar, exhibiting cutting edge 1960's luxury, engineering and style. Only 46,300 miles and looking purposeful in Nero with a Tan hide interior.48-valve, 5.5-litre V12 developing 485bhp at 7,000rpm and a six-speed manual gearboxA V12 at the front, perfect weight distribution and a manual gearboxReal-world GT ability combined with timeless elegance79,494km (46,288 miles) presented in Nero with Tan hideSupplied by Al-Tayer Motors LLC, entered the UK soon afterwards and a good history file Firmly placed in Ferrari's history as one of their finest modern-era big GTs, the 550 Maranello's combination of elegant lines and legendary front-mounted 12-cylinder engine, meant that these cars had the potential to become instant classics. Following in the footsteps and sharing the DNA of the 365 GTB/4 'Daytona', the 550 Maranello is inevitability compared to its forbear. Few front-engined Ferraris have quite justified that comparison quite like the 550 Maranello.Styled by Pininfarina, like its illustrious predecessor, the 550 Maranello was similarly proportioned, adopting the classical combination of long bonnet, a small cabin and a truncated tail. Classic Ferrari styling cues include a bonnet air scoop and hot air outlets behind the front wheel-arches recalling the great Competizione Ferraris of the past, whilst the rear incorporates Ferrari's characteristic twin circular lights. The heart of any Ferrari is its engine, and the 550 Maranello's 48-valve, 5.5-litre V12 develops 485bhp at 7,000rpm. The powertrain was housed in a tubular steel chassis, to which was attached aluminium coachwork, whilst the all-independent suspension incorporated dual-mode (normal/sports) damping, switch-selectable by the driver, which was complemented by speed-sensitive power-assisted steering. The six-speed manual gearbox complements a slightly more even torque curve ensuring that the power delivery was a little less frenetic, whilst excellent weight distribution and delightful road manners make the 550 Maranello a truly refined driving machine, whilst still capable of almost 200 mph. With styling that is ageing particularly well, a high-quality cabin, generous storage and an enormous 100-litre-plus fuel tank, the 550 Maranello really is the consummate 'European Grand Tourer' in the true Ferrari mould.Supplied by Al-Tayer Motors LLC, this left-hand-drive 550 entered the UK soon afterwards, and the history file shows that it has benefitted from a comprehensive service schedule with Ferrari main dealers and marque specialists. Nero is an unusual colour that suits the 550 profile well, and the Tan interior makes for a great combination. Having covered just 46,300 miles (79,494 km) this front-engined, V12, manual box Ferrari is the ultimate Grand Tourer. A well maintained Corniche II with some 34,000 miles.Initially registered on the 28/09/1988 to the first of five owners, current since 2015Finished in Tudor Red piped Magnolia. The hood shows no faults and operates as it shouldJust 33,889 miles from new (atoc) supported by its historic and recent invoices and the old MOTsPresented to auction with refreshed woodwork and a light cosmetic refresh may well benefit the car Supplied with service book, invoices, V5c, MOT until September 2020 and recent bills for brake worksDriving a Rolls-Royce is always an event but a Tudor Red Corniche Convertible guarantees a stylish arrivalThe two-door convertible version of the Silver Shadow has been without a doubt the most successful convertible ever produced by Rolls-Royce. First introduced in 1966 as the "Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward two-door, drophead coupé", it eventually became apparent by popular demand that this version deserved to have its own model name so, after a few cosmetic changes in 1971, the Corniche was born. When Rolls-Royce launched the two-door cars in 1966, the international jet set began to clamour for attention at the dealerships. With waiting lists measured in years, these hugely desirable vehicles began to change hands at significant premiums over list price and one can imagine the hushed negotiations over the green baize of the gaming tables at Crockfords, the Palm Beach and Aspinalls. Rolls-Royce envisioned a time when owners would like to drive their own cars and the Corniche continued to be developed with this in mind and even had a rev counter fitted as standard. Both the fixed-head coupé and drophead by Mulliner Park Ward wafted to 60mph in 9.8 seconds, powered by the whisper-quiet 6.75-litre V8 engine and it is widely regarded that the success of the Corniche saved Rolls-Royce for future generations. A mild restyling was on the cards for the Spring of 1977 and the differences included rack-and-pinion steering, alloy and rubber bumpers, aluminium radiator, oil cooler and a bi-level air conditioning system. Later changes included modifications to the independent rear suspension in March 1979. In March 1981, after the Silver Spirit had gone on sale, the Coupé version of the Corniche and its Bentley sister were quietly discontinued but such was the popularity of the Corniche convertible that production went on until 1995.This lovely example was ordered new by a Mr O'Sullivan of Cranham Hall, Upminster via Jack Barclay Ltd., Mayfair on 5th February 1988 at a total cost of £96,917, it was registered in the September of that year. It was ordered in Tudor Red with a Magnolia leather interior piped red, Cherry Red carpeting, black mohair hood with magnolia cloth headlining and an opening rear seat armrest amongst other options. Passing through three other named owners the car was subsequently bought by our vendor in June 2015. As a renowned restorer of antique clocks, it was the craftsmanship and engineering of the Rolls that initially drew him to the car and he has enjoyed "cutting a dash" whilst motoring through the neighbouring Oxfordshire villages. The mileage of some 33,889, at the time of cataloguing, is corroborated by the service book, MOTs, and historical and recent invoices and the Corniche was driven to our viewing facility by our vendor, hood down, for a final 'hurrah'. To this consignor's eye, the paintwork may need a light refresh at some point and the leather interior a deep clean. The fitment of a key fob alarm system is very useful as is the factory fitted battery cut-off switch in the boot. The copy order form and build sheets make interesting reading and a valuation letter from Hanwells of London dated July 2018 suggest a figure of £65,000.00. The car is presented to auction with the aforementioned MOT valid until September 2020, the full book pack, Rolls-Royce sales literature, reams of invoices, Swansea V5c and ready for late summer motoring. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. Aston Martin's flagship from 2010 with a warranted 3,600 milesThe DB9-derived DBS replaced the early-noughties Vanquish as Aston's top dog in 2007The 5.9-litre, V12 generated 510bhp/420lb.ft and offered 0-60 in 4.2 seconds and 191mphThis is a rare Carbon Edition (2010 and one car per dealer) finished in Obsidian BlackFitted with the automatic, six-speed, Touchtronic 2 transmissionBespoke Carbon Edition 10-spoke gloss black, diamond-turned alloy wheelsWith our vendor for six years and has covered only 3,600 milesComprehensive service history with Aston Martin Works. Most recent at 3,500 milesThis has to be one of, if not, the lowest mileage examples available todayNB Please note that the registration number shown is not included in the saleReviving a famous model name from Aston Martin's past, the DBS was based on the DB9 and replaced the outgoing Vanquish S as the company's top-of-the-range supercar. Before the DBS entered production, the world got a mouth-watering preview when one appeared in 'Casino Royale' (2006), Daniel Craig's debut in the role of James Bond. The DBS also appeared in the opening sequence of 'Quantum of Solace', the follow-up film released in 2008.In terms of its styling, the DBS was clearly a development of the DB9 but with the additions of a carbon fibre front splitter and carbon fibre rear diffuser. The aluminium chassis is known as the 'VH Generation 2' platform, 'VH' referring to its vertical and horizontal adaptability. State-of-the-art manufacturing techniques were employed in making the aluminium/composite body, which was robotically assembled using a combination of self-piercing rivets and adhesive. The new model was powered by a development of the 5.9-litre, 48-valve, V12 engine found in other Astons, producing 510bhp initially, an output sufficient to propel the aerodynamic coupé to a top speed of 305km/h (190mph) in manual transmission form, with 60mph arriving from a standing start in a remarkable 4.3 seconds. The aluminium engine was mounted as far back as possible in the chassis, whilst the transmission/final drive was combined in a rear transaxle, resulting in 85% of the car's mass being sited between the axles and a perfect 50/50 front/rear weight distribution, with commensurate benefits to handling, road-holding, and controllability. Transmission options were a six-speed manual or six-speed 'Touchtronic 2' paddle-shift semi-automatic.Adding £5,770 to the new cost The 'Carbon Edition' included a carbon fibre finish to the wing mirrors, front spoiler, diffuser and rear light clusters, and carbon brake discs behind the 20-inch, 10-spoke alloys. The carbon fibre theme continued inside, with the centre console covered in carbon weave, carbon scuff plates on the door sills and a quilted leather roof lining.Finished in Obsidian Black with a matching interior and ordered from new with the 'Touchtronic 2' six-speed transmission and 2+2 seating, our vendor has patently cherished this Carbon Edition DBS during his six years of ownership. The term 'used sparingly' does not really do justice to the distance covered from new that as that amounts to just 3,608 miles! It has a comprehensive service history with Aston Martin Works with the most recent at 3,500 miles. Continually stored in its own bubble, this stunning example, as one might expect is immaculate throughout and comes complete with its own cover and battery saver. This has to be one of, if not the, lowest mileage example available today and presents an opportunity that may never be repeated.NB; The registration number illustrated (10 MDW) does not form part of the sale. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The 'SA-30 Collection' - 30 exceptional vehicles chosen to celebrate 30 years of the Silverstone Classic and all excitingly offered at No ReserveA right-hand drive, UK-spec, 150bhp (CP) example in stunning Dark Blue with chrome wiresOriginally delivered new to Singapore before being brought back to the UK in 1987 still with the original owner who enjoyed the TR for a total of 45 years up until 2016Fully recommissioned and treated to a fresh coat of Dark BlueWith its rare factory hardtop (still in its original Mimosa Yellow)The clutch, flywheel and propshaft were balanced, the brakes were all replaced and a new up-rated radiator and renewed fuel lines were fittedPleasingly most of the original interior has been refreshed and retained apart from new carpetsA really lovely example of Triumph's classic TR6 which benefits from the more powerful engine and overdriveSharp, clean and ruggedly handsome, the TR6 looked far more modern than TR roadsters of old and proved a huge hit with the sporting driver of the early 1970's. Restyled in 1969 by Karmann of Osnabruck, the TR6 gained a full-width nose and a squared-off tail, however, under its new 'party frock' the chassis remained basically the same as its independently-rear-suspended TR5 predecessor. Handling was improved courtesy of wider wheels and a front anti-roll bar and the '6' was a little more refined than its predecessors featuring pile carpets, plush-looking bucket seats, a traditional wooden dashboard, and a full complement of instrumentation. The 150bhp 2.5-litre Lucas fuel-injected straight-six power unit was initially unchanged, but was detuned to 125bhp for the US market and subsequently for the UK market from 1973 onwards to meet stricter emissions regulations. Even in the later detuned spec, it could still hit 60mph in just 9.5 seconds with a top speed of 116mph.Originally delivered new to Singapore, this TR6 was built to 'CP' 150bhp UK-spec and was fitted from new with Overdrive and a 'factory' hardtop. Used sparingly at weekends and for special occasions, the TR6 was clearly the owner's pride and joy, and in December 1987, it moved with him back to the UK. As in Singapore, the Triumph was used occasionally at the weekends, always in the dry, and remained cossetted in a heated garage. Naturally, as the owner became older he was able to use the car less and less and when he sadly passed away in 2016, he had owned it for a remarkable 45 years. The car was acquired from his widow and, although in outstanding structural condition, it was obvious that it was in need of a little TLC. The decision was taken to recommission the TR and, once fully stripped, it was clear that the car was still in possession of all its original panels and never appeared to have been welded. With only minor areas of light surface rust, it was the perfect basis for a re-paint in a deep Dark Blue.Whilst it was out, the engine was fully serviced and the flywheel and clutch replaced. These were balanced along with the prop-shaft, which was itself fitted with new UJs. The brakes were all replaced as were the fuel lines and an up-rated radiator fitted. The engine was refitted into the refreshed engine bay and the fuel pump, metering unit and injectors set up for smooth running.Pleasingly, much of the interior was preserved, with only renewal of the carpets being necessary due to sun damage. The hood is original and in good condition as is the tonneau cover and hood bag and, quite importantly, the TR also retains its original factory hardtop (still in its original Mimosa Yellow). This is a really lovely example of Triumph's classic TR6 which benefits from the more powerful CP engine and overdrive and is undoubtedly one of the best on the market. With it's gleaming fresh paint, chrome wire wheels and smart interior, we suspect its long term owner will be looking down with a real sense of pride. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The 'SA-30 Collection' - 30 exceptional vehicles chosen to celebrate 30 years of the Silverstone Classic and all excitingly offered at No ReserveDating from 1962, this Mk II was built in left-hand drive and destined for AmericaThe subject of a major restoration in the US and remains in very good conditionFinished in a lovely shade of Iris Blue with dark blue dashboard and seatingWe believe that it's fitted with 'flat-top' pistons and a 1098cc cylinder headWith our vendor since 2017 and the cars current mileage is 85,867Active Owner's Club with lots of events and opportunities to have funIntroduced in May 1961, the MkII version of Austin Healey's Sprite sported a more conventional visage courtesy of its full-width grille and wing-mounted headlights. Other niceties included a rear bumper and opening boot lid. More civilised but slightly heavier than its 'Frogeye' predecessor, the MkII boasted more power and torque courtesy of improved carburation and a close-ratio gearbox. Reputedly capable of 85mph, the lightweight two-seater was a fun little sports car at an affordable price. We understand that this particular 1962, left-hand drive Austin Healey Sprite was the subject of a major restoration in the USA before returning home to the UK and that the 948cc BMC 'A' series unit has been fitted with 'flat-top' pistons and a 1098 cc cylinder head which should provide a useful increase in power. From some older (2014) sales information, we understand that a new clutch and pressure plate had been fitted just prior to then at 85,000 miles. The sprite has been with our vendor since 2017 and the cars current mileage is 85,867.The Iris Blue paintwork appears to have been expertly applied and it's very likely that this car still had its original panels prior to restoration such is the quality of the finish and likewise the brightwork also looks excellent. The dashboard retains its original covering and looks great for it and the period bucket seats look sound and hardly worn. The car was sold through Silverstone Auctions in 2014 and the report from then states; "The usefully modified twin-carb engine is superbly detailed and starts on the button with no knocks or rattles or leaks to cause any concern whatsoever. The gearbox is reported to be in excellent working condition as are the clutch and braking system. The suspension has clearly been set up with performance in mind and as such inspires confidence when driven enthusiastically".This is a delightful little Mark II that appears to have been well-restored in the US and with its lightly modified engine should be a lot of fun. It's left-hand drive which makes touring in France and on the Continent a little less stressful and with its Iris Blue paintwork as bright as a Cote d'Azur sky, it would make a charming companion. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The 'SA-30 Collection' - 30 exceptional vehicles chosen to celebrate 30 years of the Silverstone Classic and all excitingly offered at No ReserveThe S-Type was a major redevelopment of the Mk.2 using a mid-scale version of the Mark 10's independent rear suspension to replace the Mk.2's live rear axle and featured longer rear bodywork, along with other styling and interior changesThis is an original UK, 210bhp 3.4-litre car with the desirable manual overdrive gearboxBare metal repaint in stunning Opalescent Dark Blue. Beautiful and original red upholsteryJust 71,891 miles and two owners from new. Original books and 1967-issued 'green' logbookJaguar had bought Daimler in 1960, primarily to expand production facilities, and the Daimler 2.5-Litre V-8 Saloon was subsequently launched in November 1962. Just one year earlier, Jaguar had introduced the Mark 10, and it was to be the first of a new generation of luxury Jaguar saloons which offered super accommodation with a nod to the E-Type's sporting pedigree, as they shared similar independent rear suspension and the same engine. However, there was still a huge demand for a more luxurious Jaguar saloon with more compact dimensions and, once the new Daimler had been released, Sir William Lyons decided to combine the major improvements of the Mark 10 with the tried and trusted engineering of the Mark 2.The result was arguably "the ultimate Mk 2" - the Jaguar S-Type Saloon, which was introduced in September 1963. The car was available with either a 210 bhp 3.4-litre or the 220 bhp 3.8-litre XK engine, and it was very similar to the Mark 2 in regards to the dimensions and running gear, except that the S-Type used Jaguar's fabulous new independent rear suspension. The bodywork was extended to provide more boot space, and the roofline was changed to provide more headroom, making for a much more commodious and comfortable car. The interior was considerably more luxurious with a Mk10-style Walnut facia and wider front seats etc. and the front of the car was also updated, sporting slimmer, more stylish bumpers.Performance was exceptional for a luxury four-door saloon of the time, and the suspension provided not only substantially better handling but also a very comfortable ride for four passengers, especially those in the rear seats. The new S-Type was a triumph commercially, and at the conclusion of the car's relatively short production in 1968, nearly 25,000 examples had been produced.Today we are offering one of the most delightful S-Type Jaguars we have ever seen. It's finished in the most glorious shade of Jaguar Opalescent Dark Blue, which retains a shine so deep you could almost dive into it, the shut lines look factory tight, the brightwork gleams and the chrome wire wheels appear 'box fresh'. The exceptional original red leather interior is exactly as you hope to find it, not shiny and 'first day back from the trimmers' but gently patinated, mellow, lived in. The Walnut dashboard and door cappings are excellent as are the carpets, door cards, headlining, instruments and controls. All in all, a lovely place to be. The car is fitted with the legendary 210bhp, 3.4-litre, 6-cylinder XK engine, mated to an all-synchro, manual, four-speed/ overdrive gearbox and the desirable factory fitted power steering option. With this well-presented motor car is an equally well presented History File. Both of its previous owners appear to have been particularly fastidious, certainly when it comes to keeping records. The Jaguar was first registered on 23/03/1967 to one Iorwerth Smith of Tredegar in South Wales and you can imagine the net curtains in Commercial Street twitching when Mr Smith pulled up in his shiny brand new Jaguar. There are numerous invoices in the file that relate to Mr Smith's ownership and there was a documented change of speedo head on 16/02/1982. The old instrument was indicating 58,994 when it failed and it was replaced by a second-hand unit that was reading 4,561 miles when it was installed. Pleasingly he has kept a yearly mileage/MOT log from that point up until 2/11/98 indicating that the Jaguar only covered 7,110 miles in those 12 years. After 32 years of cherished ownership, Mr Smith decided to part with the Jaguar and sold it to the highly respected Hurst Park Automobiles. The decision was made to totally dismantle the car and to repaint it in its current coat of Jaguar Opalescent Dark Blue, perfectly complementing the sumptuous original red leather trim.In 1999, the S-Type quickly became the property of Dennis Creasy of Leatherhead in exchange for £17,000, probably the highest price ever paid for an S-Type at the time, such was the quality. He obviously shared Mr Smith's tidy nature as the history file was expanded over the years with MOTs and invoices for routine maintenance including one for a set of new Chrome Wire Wheels and tyres totalling £1,236. He was to keep the car for the next twenty years, until early 2019 when it joined our vendor's collection. In addition to dozens of invoices, the file includes 34 MOTs, the original Green Logbook, V5s, and the original Jaguar wallet containing the Owner's Handbook, Dealer Directory, Radiomobile Operating Instructions, a Lubrication Chart and even some Fuel Ration Books! With a warranted mileage of 71,891 (only 12,897 since 1982), an interesting history, and presented in this condition, this classic Jaguar would be welcome anywhere. They are actually a much better car than the feted Mk2, yet seem to be far more affordable, a situation that is beginning to end. The 'SA-30 Collection' - 30 exceptional vehicles chosen to celebrate 30 years of the Silverstone Classic and all excitingly offered at No ReserveA wonderfully cherished example with just 72,915 miles from newOnly four previous owners, one owner from 1972 until 2001Remarkably original. Wonderful, gently-patinated interiorAttractively finished in Admiralty Blue with a Silver Birch Roof and Rostyle wheelsConsidering the design is over 50 years old, these cars still turn headsIn 1965, Rover's Managing Director, William Martin-Hurst, secured the tooling and production rights to the 3528cc all-alloy OHV V8 '215' engine from Buick and, after a period of development, it was ready for use in Rover's model range. Although a marriage of expediency, the union between Rover's stately P5 and the ex-Buick V8 resulted in an unexpectedly fine motorcar. The new aluminium V8 was significantly lighter and considerably more powerful than its predecessor, delivering 160bhp and a massive leap in torque to 210 lbs/ft. at 2600rpm, vastly improving pace, comfort, balance, handling, economy and reliability.Launched in 1967, the Rover P5B (or P5 Buick if you prefer) was conceived to stave off increasingly refined competition from the likes of Jaguar and Mercedes-Benz. Available in Saloon and Coupe guises, both of which employed four doors, the big Rover was equipped with independent torsion-bar front suspension, a leaf-sprung 'live' rear axle and disc /drum brakes. Fitted with three-speed automatic transmission and power-assisted steering as standard, it proved a relaxing drive although capable of a comfortable 115mph. The exterior was mostly unchanged, apart from bold '3.5 Litre' badging, a pair of fog lights which were added below the headlights, creating a striking four-light array and the fitting of chrome Rostyle wheels with black painted inserts. The svelte Coupe had a slightly lower roof-line, slimmer chromed window surrounds, twin-armchair rear seats and additional dash instruments, and is the most collectable variant today.Well-appointed in the best Rover tradition, the P5B's 'Gentlemen's Club' interior made it a firm favourite with businessmen, politicians (Harold Wilson's car was reputed to have a pipe rack in the back) and even HM The Queen who apparently still owns her Arden Green Saloon. Production lasted until 1973 by which time 9,099 Coupés and 11,501 Saloons had been built.HPX 301H was first registered on 01/06/1970 and was finished in Admiralty Blue with a Silver Birch Roof and a Cream leather interior. It may have remained with the dealer for a period of time as its first registered owner was Trevor Tiffin Nash who acquired this 3.5-Litre Coupe on 12/04/1972 from Boorers Garage in Broadwater with the original Bill of Sale for £1,750 in the owner's file. Boorers were, in fact, the Rover agents and, somewhat poignantly, within the file is a small faded advert cut from the Sussex Argus and dated 07/04/1972 for this car (£1,895) clipped to a copy of the same paper's obituary of Mr Tiffin on 7/01/2008. He had, in fact, sold the car to Charles Regan on 9/02/2001 who also became a long-term owner, passing it on to Owen Lavington on 13/09/2017.The history file is huge with well over 100 invoices for maintenance, routine repairs etc. with only two larger invoices obvious, one for a gearbox rebuild in May 1981 and one for new sills and inner and outer arches dated January 2008. The file also contains lots of MOTs, SORN notifications from 2004 to 2014 and V5s etc. There is a plastic wallet containing the original Owner's Operating Manual, Owner's Instruction Manual and the stamped service record which starts at 1,579 miles on 29/06/70 and finishes on the last page at 40,700 miles on 8/05/83.It appears that HPX has never been restored and is all the better for it. The Admiralty Blue paintwork still shines, the brightwork is excellent and the Rostyle wheels look crisp. The Rover's cream interior certainly feels original with that cosy lived-in feel often present in a much-loved family car, and the car simply 'stands well'.The mileage of 72,915 appears to be corroborated by the car's MOT and Service history and we understand that it runs and drives superbly. The P5B is a go-anywhere, welcome-anywhere kind of 'Classic' and, unlike an old MG, you don't have to don seven layers of clothing to go to an event. In period, these big Coupes were head-turners and were perceived to belong to comfortably off owners who appreciated quality and had a certain sense of style, and basically, nothing has changed. This lovely Rover is only available as our inveterate collector vendor has found one with even lower mileage. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The 'SA-30 Collection' - 30 exceptional vehicles chosen to celebrate 30 years of the Silverstone Classic and all excitingly offered at No ReserveNumber 255 of 500 examples of the ultimate super-saloon and road-going DTM carOne owner for 30 years and just 26,056 miles (41,934km) from newShort-stroke,16v, 2.5-litre, 4-cyl with an AMG Power Pack producing 235bhp at 7,200rpmPresented in gleaming 'Blauschwarz' (blue/black) metallic with an array of spoilers, splitters, skirts and air damsWhilst aesthetically pleasing these dramatic aerodynamic aids are strictly functionalClassic nineties black leather cockpit, Teutonically efficient yet immensely comfortableOn offer from a private collection and for sale publicly for the first time since newRare opportunity to acquire an example of Mercedes' most radical road car since the Gullwing 25 years ago, the 190 E 2.5-16 Evolution II thrilled professionals and the general public alike when it was unveiled at the Geneva International Motor Show and legend has it that the entire limited run of 502 cars was sold pre-launch, possibly being squirrelled away by international car collectors. The bitter rivalry between BMW and Mercedes-Benz in saloon car racing throughout Europe helped hone the greatest 'touring cars' of the era and the Evo II was pitted against one of the best touring cars of all time, the E30 M3. A compromise was out of the question and the full-race car, developed for Group 'A' using this sports saloon as a basis, went on to acquire legendary status. Mercedes-Benz took the first three places in the DTM championship in the 1992 season with this remarkable vehicle, which henceforth is referred to, in revelation, as the "Evo II".The engine's output had been raised once again in comparison to the first Evolution model from the previous year, the Evo II now generating 235 horsepower. Top speed was 250 km/h, and the Evo II accelerated from a standing start to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds. The body had also undergone further refinement on an aesthetic and aerodynamic level and the car's sporting pedigree was emphasised by its muscular stance. In this form, the 190E finally had the match of the M3, and while it was never as naturally gifted as its rival, the brutal and unrelenting way it delivered its performance, and its devotion to technological supremacy, set a precedent for Mercedes performance models that can be traced right the way through to today. The Evo II's body kit is perhaps the most outrageous ever applied to a production car, and the fact it was a product of the ultra-conservative world of early ninety's Mercedes-Benz is even more incredible. The ostentatious, fully adjustable rear spoiler was aerodynamically perfect and its front splitter would make a decent job of cutting the grass, however, despite outward appearances, the Evo II is a comfortable and tractable daily driver. The 255th of 500 built, this Evo II Homologation special-edition is no disappointment and exceeds expectations on every level. Firstly, there is the way it looks. Legend has it that BMW redesigned its wind tunnel after seeing the Evo II race car and none of the excitement has been lost on the road car. With its stunning "Blauschwarz" (blue/black) metallic bodywork devoid of any decals, and with number plates fitted instead of sponsors' logos, it's arguably even more dramatic. The build quality is pure Mercedes-Benz at their best and nothing has been compromised. The full-leather sports seats are both supportive and comfortable, the centre console has a full accompaniment of switches including air-conditioning and electric windows and, with only 26,056 miles (41,934km) from new, the interior wears its 30 years almost imperceptively. All but the first 1,000 of these kilometres were covered by one collector-owner over the last 30 years. Speaking volumes for its ability to be an exciting 'road-going' racecar, without the compromises that this usually entails, is the fact that this owner seems to have used this car more than almost any other in his truly world-class collection. But here is an example that offers the perfect balance of low miles and usability, and has been cherished in one of the world's finest car collections. With growing interest in historic motorsport, has come renewed interest from collectors in the cars that were homologated in order to allow some of the greatest saloon cars of all time to go racing in the first place. This Evo II ranks among the most visually striking of all the homologation specials and warrants pride of place in any collection. But more than that, whilst most of us would love to have an E30 M3 Johnny Cecotto or Robert Ravaglia in our garage, that's where they would be kept. The 250-16 Evo II deserves to be in a large architect-designed, glass-walled space in your house on a raised plinth lit by pencil spotlights. A piece of modern art, Form and Function in perfect harmony. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July. The 'SA-30 Collection' - 30 exceptional vehicles chosen to celebrate 30 years of the Silverstone Classic and all excitingly offered at No ReserveOne of only 230 UK right-hand drive QVs produced and just 41,046 miles from newPresented in gleaming Rosso Corsa with magnolia leather and Bordeaux carpetsThe car's classic looks are complemented by a deep front spoiler and Speedline wheelsA very original example that has been cherished by the same family since 1987, acquired at circa 23,217 miles£16,000 spent on substantial service works in February 2019 by Kent High Performance at 40,941 milesFabulous documented history. Original service wallet, book pack, tool kit, jack kit and standard exhaustEnticingly offered at No reserve - one for the true Ferrari enthusiast to use and enjoyOctober 1975, saw the debut at the Paris Motor Show of the most successful shape ever to wear the Cavallino Rampante emblem, the Ferrari 308, and during its comparatively long production run from 1975-89, the model was consistently popular and kept the factory busy. This new car was constructed on a traditional steel tube chassis, but its beautiful body was initially manufactured in GRP before, after two years, Scaglietti started making GTBs in steel. The 3-litre, four-cam V8 was more or less unchanged until March 1981 when Bosch fuel injection was added in place of the 4 double-choke Webers, reducing the engine's power output significantly, although the final drive was altered on these cars to give similar acceleration to a carburettor car. Two years later, the 4-valve per cylinder Quattrovalvole or 'QV' model pushed output back up to 240 hp restoring the status quo. European-spec cars boasted higher horsepower than cars built for the American market and were somewhat lighter. Only 3,042 Spider Quattrovalvoles were produced, with just 230 RHD examples supplied to the UK and they are considered by many to be the most desirable of all the 308 variations as they are the fastest and most subtly styled with a deep front valance, racing mirrors, and short lightweight bumpers. This lovely GTS (Spider) is classically finished in Rosso Corsa with Magnolia leather and Bordeaux carpets. The paintwork and coachwork are exactly as you might hope to find and the timeless looks of this 45-year-old design are complemented by the deep front valance and optional roof-mounted aerofoil. It has been part of one family since 1987 until joining our vendor's collection last year and is accompanied by a great history file. The substantially documented current mileage is 41,046 and within the file is an invoice from highly regarded marque experts Kent High Performance, dated February 2019, for a full cambelt and substantial service to include rebuilt Koni shocks, rebuilt heater, alloy wheel refinish with new tyres and more at 40,941 miles with less than 110 miles travelled since.Presented with the car is its original wallet containing the service books and manuals documenting the cars excellent service history and a folder containing a number of bills/invoices detailing attention over the years. The tool kit and jack appear original and the standard factory exhaust looks quite at home.In superb condition for its age and mileage, this rare right-hand drive, QV Spider has patently been well looked after and is a fantastic example of the ultimate evolution of the 308. Enticingly offered at No Reserve, it's one for the true Ferrari enthusiast to use and enjoy. You can now book a one to one appointment (up to one hour) to view this lot at our central location between 16th and 30th July.
