Pair of Wedgwood lidded black jasper dip vases with twin satyr mask handles decorated with ribbon swags between engine turned fields, impressed marks, mid 20th century, (one handle restuck) (4) 21cm high Condition report: one handle restuck, four small flat chips to one cover, minor rim nicks to the other cover.
Three Wedgwood engine turned and signed vases the first inscribed `Harry Sheldon Snr. April 9th 1938, Tom Simpson and Mary Thornton`, with interior liner the second inscribed `Annie Toft 12.30.19` the third inscribed ` Tom Simpson 20. 7. 29` with other initials, impressed factory marks to bases, (4) 10cm high Condition report: the first vase lacking a cover.

Two gilt bronze mounted Berlin woolwork bell pulls, 19th century, one with a repeating motif of squares with geometric patterning in blue, pink, green and red, descending to an ormolu hand grip composed of knopped and engine milled sections, 159cm high, 13cm wide overall; the second example with trailing grapevine motif on a crimson ground, descending past a repousse worked gilt metal mount with twin opposing dragons, to a ring handle, 157cm high, 14.5cm wide overall
A Continental patinated and gilt metal and white marble mounted figural twin light candelabrum, in 18th century style, second half 20th century, the sockets cast as flower heads held aloft in the left hand of a standing amorino, the cylindrical plinth with faux engine milled top, on a spreading foliate cast circular base, 39cm high, 22cm wide. A Viennese mahogany miniature regulator wall timepiece. Unsigned, early 19th century. The four pillar single weight movement with deadbeat escapement, tapered plates and wood-rod pendulum, the 4 inch circular dial with engine-turned gilt centre within silvered Roman numeral chapter ring and milled bezel and with Breguet type steel hands, in a boxwood edged six-glass case with gilt egg-and-dart carved decoration to inside of the shallow arch tympanum above front door with square glazed dial aperture over long rectangular window, the sides with conforming glazed apertures over cavetto moulded base with curved terminal, (case with faults and possibly of later construction), 63.5cm (24ins) high.
A Regency inlaid mahogany bracket clock, Barraud, London, early 19th century. The unusual circular five pillar twin chain fusee bell striking movement with anchor escapement and pendulum with holdfast attached to the base of the case, the border engraved backplate signed BARRAUD, Cornhill, LONDON to a conforming oval cartouche, the 7 inch cream Roman numeral circular convex dial with repeat signature to centre and gilt spade hands within a convex glazed engine-turned brass bezel, the arch shaped case with hinged brass carrying handle above ebony edged front with scroll line bordered panel beneath dial, on moulded skirt base with brass ball feet, 40.5cm (16ins) high excluding handle. The current lot is probably by Paul Philip Barraud who is recorded in Baillie, G.H. Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as becoming a Liveryman of the Clockmakers` Company in 1796 and appointed Master in 1810. He is listed as a fine watch and chronometer maker who worked in partnership with W. Howells and G. Jamison for making Mudge`s timekeepers. He had two sons; Frederick Joseph (worked 1806-25), and John (worked from 1813), with whom he formed a partnership in 1811 which presumably lasted until his death in 1820.
A French Empire style ormolu figural mantel clock, Unsigned, mid 19th century. The eight-day countwheel bell striking movement with circular white enamel Roman numeral convex dial with blued steel Breguet hands and foliate milled bezel, set into an ogee-shouldered plinth with foliate spray applied lower quadrants and supporting a music stand for a cherub stood on a cushioned stool and leaning on a columnar pedestal whilst playing his woodwind instrument to the right of the movement, on rectangular plinth base applied with a relief panel cast with a musical trophy to apron and on engine turned bell-shaped feet, 27cm high.
A French gilt metal mounted mottled red marble mantel clock garniture, Retailed by Finnigans, circa 1900. The eight-day bell striking movement with circular white enamel convex Arabic numeral dial inscribed FINNIGANS to centre with elaborate foliate scroll engraved gilt hands and glazed bezel, the case with cast lovebird surmount above dial and gilt foliate scroll putto term mounted panel to support flanked by patinated bronze reclining figures of putti playing pipes, the shaped moulded platform base centred with a foliate scroll decorated panel flanked by further fluted panels and rosette inhabited scroll cast mounts to the curved ends, on six engine-turned tapered feet, 41cm high; with a pair of casolette urn side pieces, each with reversible domed cover with foliate knop and gilt candle sconce to interior, above ovoid body applied with vine swags between the triform pan mask decorated supports united by a central collar and on hoof feet, on circular gilt metal frieze inset plinth base with engine turned feet, 30cm high.
A William IV ebonised bracket clock, Payne. London, circa 1830. The five pillar twin fusee gong striking movement with anchor escapement, heavy bob steel rod pendulum and holdfast mounted on the backplate, the 7.5 inch circular silvered Roman numeral dial signed Payne, 163 New Bond St. to centre and with fine heart-pierced blued steel hands within an engine turned brass bevel glazed bezel, the case with stepped chamfer top upstand above cavetto and ripple moulded frieze, canted front angles and stepped ripple moulded skirt base with brass bracket feet, 37cm (14.5ins) high. Provenance: The property of a private collector. William Payne is recorded working from several addresses throughout the first half of the 19th century; 62 Molton Street 1816-39, High Street Bloomsbury 1825, and 163 New Bond Street 1830-50. He was a maker of repute who also supplied clocks made in other workshops as well as his own.

The circular four pillar single chain fusee movement with Vulliamy type wide jaw pendulum suspension and signed Ganthony, London to backplate, the 3.5 inch circular gilt Roman numeral dial with engine turned centre and blued steel Breguet hands within a milled bezel, the case with gilt drum on scroll cast volutes and black marble plinth base with gilt foliate cast top moulding and skirt base with engine turned bun feet, (lacking pendulum), 20.5cm (8ins) high. Richard Ganthony is recorded in Baillie, G.H. Watchmakers & Clockmakers of the World as being admitted to the Clockmakers` Company in 1785 and gaining his Freedom in 1794. He was appointed Master in 1828 whilst working from Lombard Street, London and died in 1845.
A French Louis XV-XVI transitional ormolu mounted boulle bracket clock, Sandoz, Laine, Paris, circa 1775. The circular two train movement with four column turned pillars pinned through the rear, anchor escapement and striking the hours via a numbered outside countwheel on a bell mounted on the backplate signed Sandoz Laine, Paris to lower margin, the 7 inch circular convex Roman numeral enamel dial with Arabic five minutes to outer track and finely pierced engraved hands behind an engine turned convex glazed bezel, the waisted case veneered in contre-partie with foliate designs in brown, cream and red stained shell within a brass field, the ogee shaped surmount with leaf festoon swag adorned classical urn finial and finely chased rococo edge mounts above front with further symmetric open-work leafy foliate trail mounts to edges, the sides with brass sound fret infilled shaped cartouches and conforming mounts to rear angles, the apron with shaped glazed lenticle flanked by integral scroll mounts issuing squab feet, 59cm overall.
A small collection of Dinky Toys and Supertoys cars and commercial vehicles, including a No. 903 Foden flat truck with tailboard, second type, finished with blue cab and chassis and orange back, boxed (playwear, box creased, torn and scuffed), a No. 30c Daimler, finished in green and black, and a No. 181 Volkswagen (16) (playwear and faults), together with a Chad Valley Wee-kin fire engine, three other die-cast vehicles, a Minic BRS lorry, a tinplate car and a tinplate and plastic lorry (playwear and faults).
Five Matchbox Kingsize vehicles, comprising a K-5 racing car transporter, a K-6 Mercedes-Benz `Binz` ambulance, a K-8 car transporter, a K-15 Merryweather fire engine and a K-17 low loader with bulldozer, together with a Speed Kings K-32 shovel nose car, all within window boxes (some playwear, boxes creased, torn and scuffed, window missing from fire engine box).
A clinker built model of the steam launch `Black Adder`, powered by a twin cylinder double acting steam engine with exposed crankshaft and solid flywheel, the lagged boiler with pressure gauge and level glass, the detachable forward decking exposing the water tank, the tiller steering with provision for radio control, with a four bladed brass propeller, overall length approx 149cm, on a wooden stand.
A Merzon Cher coal fired kit built brass and steel model of a single cylinder portable steam engine, with double acting horizontal cylinder with regulator, lubricators, pressure gauge, level glass, double fly wheels and folding chimney, finished in polished brass, black and bottle green, overall length including drawbar approx 64cm.
A presentation volume, dated 1950, presented to J.H. Robson by the staff of the [Aero] Engine and Propeller Overhaul Base, Treforest, containg black and white group portrait and workshop facility photographs, leather bound; a B.O.A.C. bamboo and printed paper promotional fan; two aluminium B.O.A.C. ashtrays, marked `All Over the World B.O.A.C. Takes Good Care of You`; and other items of related interest.
