A 1971 left hand drive Fiat 625 Caro Attrezzi (recovery truck), registration number HGU 539J, red. This recovery truck would make a great workhorse for a racing car team or Goodwood revival companion. Imported to the UK in 2009, this rare Italian vehicle has been in its current ownership since 2010. It was previously used by an Italian race team in the early 70s and still retains their livery and logos. Asprey's decals also appear, which would imply that they could have been the contemporary sponsor. The truck is fitted with a 3.1 litre diesel engine, electric winch, fresh water tank, storage boxes, emergency lights, ramps and chocks. Some years ago the entire load bed was restored and remains in serviceable condition. The cab is presented in original condition and would benefit from some restoration work, the doors in particular. This rare truck is a slice of Italian motorsport history offered for auction at an affordable price level. V5C, no MOT See illustration Note: We are unable to remove this lot from the auction site.

A 1971 left hand drive MG B anniversary special roadster, chassis number GHN5UB250665G, blue. MG celebrated manufacturing the 250,000th MG B by giving away that car in an advertising promotion. The North American dealers created a further 999 specials to celebrate a quarter of a million sales. This roadster is one of these cars having recently been imported from America and has all of the duties paid. Finished in blue with a black interior and painted wire wheels the vendor informs us that the MG is running and driving, but the engine is smoking and would benefit from some top end engine work. This rare North American MG special is offered for auction with HMRC duties paid paperwork and a Nebraska certificate of title See illustration

This manual overdrive car was purchased by the vendor from Spinning Wheel Classics, Chesterfield. Finished in gloss black with a grey candy stripe interior, it has an aftermarket roll bar fitted and sits on Rostyle wheels. The MG was previously restored in 1988 with a photographic album detailing the work. In the current ownership the MG has been well maintained and has had recent items fitted including a new alternator, radiator, fuel pump, water pump and hoses. The vendor also advises us that the engine is running well and shows good oil pressure. A 1927 left hand drive Chevrolet Capitol AA two door Sedan, chassis number 3348582, green over black. Chevrolet's Capitol series was launched in 1927 to compete head on with Ford's new Model A. The range was available in eight body styles and over 650,000 were sold in that year, toppling Ford from the top spot. This original two door Sedan has recently been imported from America. The body looks sound and original, and she starts and runs. The vendor tell us that the engine will need some further tuning and fettling and the roof and headlining will require replacing. The interior is complete and tidy, and overall the Chevy has a nice patina. Both Ford's Model A and Chevrolet's Capitol models have become very fashionable in vintage trialling circles, and this Chevy should appeal to a new participant. The Sedan is offered for auction with HMRC duties paid paperwork, a Texas certificate of title and sundry paperwork See illustration

Los 33

A 1976 Triumph Stag, registration number UCW 606R, blue. This manual overdrive Mk II Stag has been lightly recommissioned and MOTd after having been in store for a few years. It has both soft and hard tops which are said to be in good condition. The interior is generally tidy, but would benefit from new front seat foam. A 1997 Aston Martin V8 coupé, registration number P609 OMJ, chassis number SCFDAM2S2TBR79017, engine number 95/79017/A, Royal Blue. Introduced at The Geneva Show in March 1996, the new V8 coupé featured the Vantage muscular styling but retained the normally aspirated 5.3 litre V8 engine. The model was only available for three years, which makes it one of the rarer Aston Martins. One of the last of the hand built V8 coupés to be made, this outstanding example is everything you would expect from the quintessentially British motoring legend that is Aston Martin. This particular example first bore the registration number AM V8, and was used as Aston Martin's factory, press and test car before being sold into private hands later that year and registered with the current number. The car is beautifully finished in Rolls-Royce Royal Blue with parchment leather seats piped in dark blue, with carpets edged in dark blue and parchment headlining. With less than 36,000 recorded miles on the odometer, it comes with expired test certificates, and an original owner's guide. This modern classic Aston Martin will, due to its rarity, undoubtedly become a much sought after and collectable model of the future. V5C,***MOT to November 2016*** See illustrations

A 1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mk III Phase II BJ8, registration number PRX 771B, chassis number HBJ8L 29270, engine number 29KRUH/3966, Healey blue. According to the BMIHT Heritage Trust certificate this original left hand drive Mk III Phase II big Healey was manufactured over the 5th and 6th October 1964 and was dispatched on 12th October, destined for New York, USA. The original specification included wire wheels, overdrive, laminated windscreen, whitewall tyres, adjustable steering column and a blue tonneau cover. The colour scheme was Healey blue coachwork, blue trim and soft top (colours it still retains today). Unfortunately nothing is known of its time in the USA and the big Healey's story continues on these shores from 2000. It was purchased by the previous owner from Chiltern Classics having had a full nut and bolt restoration and conversion from left to right hand drive. The current vendor purchased the Healey from him on August 2003. Since acquiring the Healey the vendor has maintained the car to a very high standard (in his words he is a perfectionist!). The comprehensive history file details all works carried out. These include a recent body rebuild with aluminium front wings, both rear wings, both doors (the bonnet was already a louvered aluminium panel) and a full respray in Healey blue (receipts on file for £9,000). Further recent expenditure includes new tyres and wire wheels, a new electronic ignition and components, and general servicing. As a Mk III Phase II example it has all of the best features associated with this model, with wind up windows, wood trim dashboard and steering wheel, wrap around windscreen, overdrive, the most powerful engine, full and half tonneau covers and a fully lined soft top. This big Healey is beautifully presented and on the button ready to be enjoyed by the next owner. V5C, MOT to July 2016 See front cover and other illustrations

This solid and rust free 912E has had a recent engine rebuild by Lloyd Mosher Enterprises Porsche and VW in California before being imported. The engine has been fitted with a twin Weber performance kit and the engine will need running in having only covered a few hundred miles since the rebuild. All of the fuel injection system has been retained so the next owner can reinstate the car to original specification. The Porsche would now benefit from a respray and retrimming of the seats. Colin Chapman's ultimate specification road going Europa was launched in September 1972. It featured the big valve head and five speed gearbox. The first 100 were painted in black JPS livery to commemorate the 1972 F1 Constructors World Championship where John Player Special were the official sponsors. Motor Magazine famously tested in period a Europa JPS achieving a top speed of 123 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 6.6 seconds, an impressive time now. This Europa has been in the current ownership since 1986, with four previous recorded keepers and believed 54,000 recorded miles. The Lotus was manufactured in January 1973 (invoice number 65484695) to be supplied by Aston Distributions, Birmingham to its first owner, a Mr D J Hoskinson and was registered HOH 9L. It had a change of registration to NCB 777 with its next owner, a Mr Norman Charles Bowers. Generally presented in good condition, the interior is still smart, with retrimmed seats, door cards and transmission tunnel in cream vinyl. The engine and running gear will now require recommissioning, the Lotus rolls freely and the paintwork still has a good shine, but there is some evidence of spider web and gel cracks in the paintwork. The history file contains a letter from Lotus Cars confirming the build history of the car, photocopies of DVLA records, past MOTs, SORNs and the original owner's handbooks.
