A finely engineered 3in scale model of ‘Royal Chester’ Allchin Traction engine built by the late Mr A.J.Hodder being a scaled up version of the famous W.J.Hughes 1. 1/2in scale model single cylinder two speed general purpose agricultural engine. The engine has a copper silver soldered boiler with fittings including water gauge pressure gauge safety valve blower clack and blowdown valves. Engine details include cylinder approximately 2in bore x 3in stroke drain cocks and pipes mechanical lubricator trunk type crosshead guide Stephenson’s link reverse eccentric driven feed pump and bypass two road speeds and spoked flywheel whistle chassis details include spoked straked wheels worm and roller chain steering spud pan damper cable drum fairleads water lifter hand brake to second shaft wooden footboard and tool box. The model is finished in red and black paintwork and comes with a driving/passenger trolley and quantity of steam coal. Original boiler test certificate Number 21193. from Hogan Engineering of Saltburn Cleveland dated 2nd of November 1993. No current boiler history.

A GOLD SLIM DRESS WATCH the round engine turned dial having Brequet style Arabic numerals, moon hands and a subsidiary seconds dial, the movement having an overcoil spring to the lever escapement and stamped with the serial number '32255', the case stamped with a repeat of the serial number and the gold import mark, diameter 44mm.
LEPAUTE A PARIS A LADY'S FOB WATCH the white enamel dial having black Roman hour numerals, gold moon hands and signed by the maker 'Lepaute a Paris', the case fully engraved with floral & rococo decoration, the inside cuvette with engine turned decoration and engraved 'Lepaute a Paris, No. 20028, Echappement a Cylindre, Qautre Trois en Pierre', with the serial number '20028', diameter 35mm.*The Lepaute family were famous clock and watchmakers in Paris starting with Jean Baptiste & Jean Andre in the mid 18th Century, and continuing in the Victorian period with their sons and nephews. Augustin Michael Henry Lepaute, born 1800, used the name Lepaute, Paris from 1854 until his death in 1885. He was clockmaker to both Napolean III and Louis Phillipe. Many fine pieces were made by them and are in a number of collections and museums.

John Shaw, Birmingham, 1818 - an oblong snuff box with cast foliage borders and engine turned base, with gilt interior, hinged cover inscribed:-''Presented By the Crossgates Chicken Pye Club, Mr James Crawford of Pitbauchlie, who officiated as one of the Judges for awarding the premiums at the Exhibitions for several years, August 1818'', with a bone snuff spoon, 8.5cm x 5.5cm.
