Gong mount looks clumsy. Lever escapement not pendulum driven. (No pendulum present as previously stated in the description). Backplate signed Vulliamy 1622. Dial is dirty, signed Vulliamy London, minute hand slightly bent. There is a brass threaded hole thru base. Case needs attention, some parts missing. detachable top cover has one edge off, but present. Rear door glass missing but frame is present. No keys. Strike silent lever controls the gong. Balance has an adjustment lever.The vendor has since found a good quality brass key which fits very well and is now included with the lot. It has an unusual sprung mechanism to avoid overwinding.

An Approx 1½in Scale Model Barrett Exall & Andrews Single-Cylinder Portable Engine, built by Tony Webster of Daventry, featured on the cover of 'Model Engineer' issue 4399 (24/03/11) and shown at the Midlands Model Engineering exhibition in 2012, a fine model of an engine by this uncommon maker based at Katesgrove Iron Works, Reading; the model stands 25in high over the hinged chimney, and features single cylinder, approx 1in x 1¼in stroke, with slide valve (appears non-reversing), locomotive-type regulator, water gauge, pressure gauge and Salter-type safety valve, 6in diameter fabricated flywheel, early-type 'half-moon' smokebox door, crank-driven water-pump (lacks some pipework and clack valve), the model painted in gloss black with red details, and engraved plaque to one side 'The Reading Iron Works Limited, Reading, England', overall VG-E, appears never steamed, motion a little stiff, complete with an aluminium carrying case with some paperwork, but no formal boiler history

Alfred Dunhill - Novelty Art Deco faux cigarette lighter minaudière, Exclusive and high quality makeup/powder compact set, in the shape of a lighter, with a perfect finish and elaboration, with all over engine turned design. * This piece was manufactured by the Alfred Dunhill company in 1928. It looks similar to Dunhill lighter model "Unique C", fabricated from 1925 to 1930, but in a larger measure, the cross bar stamped 'DUNHILL', the striker formed as an eye liner, the hinged arm lifting to reveal a screw top perfume with dip stick, the hinged front opening to reveal mirror and powder compartment with original puff and powder still present, the base with pull-out lipstick tube, the underside stamped, PATENT APPLIED FOR, PROV. PAT. 14444/28, 2 3/8in.(6cm.) wide. * Condition: In excellent condition, the only thing to note is the eye liner missing it's pin slide (still functional).
