-Click here to bid - 1962 BSA Bantam 175cc Reg.no. 532 YUD Frame no. D7 31185 Engine no. ED7B26158 The 175 was the final incarnation of the famous Bantam model, which had been produced since 1948. The D175 was marketed as the B175, and BSA struggled against imports in the late 1960s to its closure in 1972, the larger capacity ‘B’ series having helped make them the largest motorcycle manufacturer in the world. This Bantam is running and is in reasonable/good overall condition, so there is scope for improvement if required, however this highly useable machine has been restored at some stage and it is sold with a V5c and a VCC dating certificate. Estimate: £500 - 800
-Click here to bid - 1988 Jawa Model 634 350cc Reg.no. Unknown Frame no. 507598 Engine no. 631-0-0027C1 Jawa was a firm based in the Czech Republic and has its origins as far back as 1929. The first model was powered by a 500cc 18hp unit and although expensive it proved successful and it was reliable. The model 634 was introduced to the marketplace in the 1970s. This motorcycle is from a local deceased estate and has been laid up for a number of years and will therefore require full re-commissioning and some restoration. Estimate: £350 – 450No Reserve
-Click here to bid - 1949 Ariel 350cc Model NH Reg.no. KFJ 184 Frame no. R3723 Engine no. DJ2054X The Ariel Red Hunter was the name given by Ariel to its range of single cylinder motorcycles and the model was initially designed in 1932 as a 500cc ‘sports’ version. However 250 and 350cc versions were developed and became popular with grass track and trials riders. All Red Hunters had distinctive dark red petrol and oil tanks and were an immediate success with the buying public, forming the backbone of the company. This machine has received a full restoration in recent years to a very high standard and forms part of a private collection of motorcycles coming to the market for the first time in many years. It may require light re-commissioning. It is sold with a new V5c, an old green log book and various receipts. Estimate: £3,800 – 4,500No Reserve
-Click here to bid - Matchless Special Reg.no. Unknown Frame no. Unknown Engine no. 41/G3L (re-stamped 71460) This Matchless Special is built on a circa 1946 rigid rear end frame with a G31 500cc engine unusually with an all alloy barrel and a cast iron head. This motorcycle has good potential to make an interesting special. This Matchless is also from a local deceased estate, whose late owner clearly had a passion for Matchless and AJS and for making specials. Estimate: £850 – 1,000No Reserve
-Click here to bid - 1954 Matchless 350cc Model G3LCS Reg.no. KFO 637 Frame no. A19271 Engine no. 1601/C This motorcycle left the factory as a scrambler and it was used in competitions for a number of years, however there is no history of any victories. It was then laid up for a period of time, following which it was sold for £35 to an enthusiast in Taunton. He used it off road to follow the Exmoor stag hunt for around 30 years. After that the motorcycle moved to a man in Bristol who restored it to road legal trim. It was last on the road in 2006; however it was recently re-commissioned and started so it now runs well. It has a new V5c and is sold with some old tax discs and an old MOT. Estimate: £5,000 – 6,000No Reserve
-Click here to bid - c. 1970 BSA B25 250cc ‘Green Laner’ Reg.no. XTD 8H Frame no. Unknown Engine no. Unknown The B25 was known as the ‘Starfire’ and it replaced the very successful C15. When the model appeared in 1968 it was considered an attractive motorcycle although it was powered by an old fashioned single-cylinder ohv engine. The market for a 250cc utilitarian machine at this time had already diminished and the model was short-lived. This B25 is 90% complete and will be a very useable motorcycle following some re-commissioning. It will require some restoration following a period of dry storage. Estimate: £1,000 – 1,500No Reserve
