A well engineered and constructed model of a live steam powered Lake Windermere Steamer 'Josephine' built by renowned model maker Robert Dudley in 1-12 scale, with horizontal boiler lagged in planked woodwork with brass boiler bands, safety valve, steam pressure gauge, water sight-glass and steam supply pipe with displacement oiler to twin simple, vertical twin cylinder steam engine with lagging and flywheel. The twin cylinder steam engine with radio control servo fitted. The model having been run on compressed air and live steam, with centre flue boiler having test pressure certificate. The boiler being of copper construction with brass and other quality fittings. The butane gas tank mounted under foredeck. The model is sold together with a display and launching cradle as well as full size plywood case for transportation and storage. Vessel 112cm long overall

A vintage enamel powder compact, a silver one by KIGU and a citrine topped scent bottle, the a square compact with shaped outline, the top with partial bright cut foliate engraving framing a painted enamel scene of seated figures with a white dove and flower basket in a landscape, the sides and back with further scrolling foliate engraved decoration, scrolled thumb pieces; interior gilt, with shaped bevel edged mirror and powder guard; stamped '800' and testing for low grade silver. Length 73mm. 105.18g (1)together with a circular silver gilt engine turned compact by KIGU, London hallmarks 1962, interior lid with sliding clasp, engine turned and with KIGU logo, powder and guard still in place. KIGU was established in Budapest in the early 20th century by Gustav Kiaschek, whose son George moved to London in 1939 and continued to manufacture high quality jewellery, accessories and ornamented vanity products. Diameter 63mm. 68.77g (1)and a cylindrical glass scent bottle, with hinged rose metal cover, engraved 'Minnie' and topped with a round cut deep orange-brown citrine.
