A Bowman `O` gauge live steam locomotive. A 4-4-0 (Freelance) outside cylinder tender locomotive – unfortunately without the tender. Fitted with a copper boiler and boiler fittings, the chassis and wheels have been painted black the buffer beam red and the cab green. `Bowman Patent` to the cab sides. Together with a Bowman single cylinder horizontal stationary engine with small copper boiler, approximately 4" in length. Mounted on a small metal base. Both sold as a collectors items only. Plus 3 `O` gauge wagons, a reproduction 6-wheel United Dairies tank wagon, a Hornby NE open wagon and Saxa Salt wagon. The last two have replacement wheels. Also a modern reproduction tin plate 4-wheel clockwork tractor, with key. GC-VGC. .

North British Locomotive Company Ltd Glasgow alloy diamond shaped Engine Plates, qty 2. The first, dated 1958 is rear marked D6300. The second, dated 1959, is rear marked D6304. Interestingly, the second one was originally cast with the date 1958 but BR has chiselled away the bottom segment to make the `8` a `9`. Both ex loco condition.

Brass Locomotive Plate `Yorkshire Engine Co., Reworked L116 1993 measuring 7" x 4½". Ex Thomas Hill 173v/1966, a standard gauge 4wDH, which originally worked at Rugby Portland Cement, New Bilton, Rugby. Following rebuilding it went to Poole Harbour Commissioners at new Quay, Lower Hamworthy, Dorset, where it is believed to be still extant. Ex loco, faded red painted ground.

Worksplate Hunslet Engine Co Ltd., Leeds, Built By Hunslet Africa (PTY) Ltd., Johannesburg 100 H.P No. 5318 1956. Oval cast brass, ex SAR 3` 6`` gauge Departmental 0-4-0 DM Loco allocated number 100001 (previously K11582). In 2002 listed as being at Bayhead Loco works in Durban.

Brass triple tone Chime Whistle, most likely from a traction engine. Overall length is 10½" and the diameter is 2". Nut finial on top, very attractive and would display well on a wooden plinth.

Worksplate Chapman & Furneaux No 1161 dated 1898 Successors To Black Hawthorn & Co Limited Gateshead-on-Tyne. Brass oval, 11¾" 7¾", ex Lambourn Valley Railway 0-6-0 Tank engine, one of two Standard Gauge built by Chapman Furneaux for £1330 each that carried the names Aelfred and Ealhswith, this one being from the latter. It ran this wonderful little railway in dark blue livery lined in black and white. Sold to the Cambrian Railways in 1904 and renumbered 26, later absorbed into the GWR to become No 820, allocated to Sweaty. It was withdrawn in March 1930 and sold to Mells Colliery in Frome, Somerset. The colliery close February 1944 and in February 1945, the loco was scrapped by Cohens. A magnificent, ultra rare worksplate from a historic locomotive.
