A 1994 MG RV8, registration number L184 KUX, chassis number SARRAWBMBMG000414, engine number UEA48A0000257, White gold. The RV8 was conceived in 1988 with production starting in 1992 after the introduction of the new Heritage bodyshell. The external body panels were revised but the MG B origins are still evident. Power came from the Rover 3.9 litre V8 delivering 185 bhp which was sufficient to propel the MG to a top speed of 135 mph and 0-60 mph of six seconds. The interiors were lavishly equipped with leather and walnut trim and double duck lined hoods were fitted. This example we have the pleasure in offering for sale is an original home market right hand drive example, finished in the very rare (believed to be one of only eleven) White gold and has a complementary tan leather interior, black double duck hood and sits on the correct period alloy wheels. The current owner of three years has used the MG sparingly, only adding a few hundred miles to the odometer. The accompanying history file is extensive with numerous receipts, past MOTs and an original sales brochure. It is now rare to find an original home market car as so many were exported and subsequently re-imported to fill a gap in the British market. V5C, MOT to June 2018 See illustrations

The interior is finished in black vinyl and is fitted with period extras including a Rokee teak dashboard, Moto-Lite leather trimmed steering wheel, correct Mini-Lite wheels, Webasto full length sunroof and Wipac spot lamps and covers. This original right hand drive home market car was originally registered in London and was exported to Texas by an oil worker who had used the car in London before emigrating back to the States. Having been used for some time in the United States, the car went into storage and was subsequently restored. The current vendor purchased the car and had it imported approximately eighteen months ago. Since arriving on these shores, he has replaced some of the non standard parts which had been fitted in the restoration to correct period items. A 1967 left hand drive Volkswagen Splitscreen Sundial camper, registration number VBY 396E, red over yellow. This rare Sundial camper was featured in Ultra VW Magazine, issue number 120 August 2013 and appeared on the front cover. It describes the full restoration of the bus by David Millar, a well respected VW restorer, for the owner of a chain of coffee shops in London. The bus was imported from Idaho and was in relatively straight condition, fitted with a hot twin plug engine and special ignition system. The engine was felt to be impractical for its intended use on London streets so a rebuilt 1200cc engine was installed, a full respray was carried out in Ferrari red and Mercedes yellow, the steel wheels were refurbished and new chrome embellishers were fitted as well as new tyres all round. The interior saw a similar amount of work with new fittings throughout. The finished article is certainly eye catching as can be seen in the accompanying magazine article. Since completion the bus has seen little use and it is hoped that the new owner will get to use the van as intended. V5C, ***no MOT*** See illustrations

A 1959 Triumph TR3A, registration number TSV 616, chassis number TS 47448-0, engine number TS4800SE, Pearl grey. The TR3A with its rugged and handsome styling featured the wider front grille to aid cooling became available in 1957/1958. The styling would remain with minor revisions until the new TR4 became available in 1961. This charming home market right hand drive, overdrive, ***painted (not chrome) wire wheeled*** example comes direct from a deceased estate of a well known Bugatti & Bentley enthusiast. TSV 616 has obviously had a great deal of time, effort and expenditure lavished upon it in recent years. The body is presented in a subtle shade of Pearl grey with a contrasting red piped white interior, which suits the Triumph very well. Weather gear consists of black canvas hood, tonneau cover, hood cover and side screens. The accompanying history file contains an RF60 which identifies that the Triumph was originally registered XWY 616 and had a colour change to red (it is now presented in its original colour), receipts, past MOTs, DVLA correspondence, SORNs and sundry paperwork. Now requiring a service and light recommissioning due to its recent inactivity, this charming TR3A offers an economic alternative to its more expensive Jaguar and Austin Healey contemporaries. A 1953 Lagonda 3 litre Tickford drophead coupé, registration number NYC 820, chassis number LAG/50/503, engine number VB6J/71, blue. The Lagonda sales brochure stated the car had beauty of line, power and grace, and what superlative comfort and proud dignity were embodied in the 3 litre Lagonda Tickford saloon and drophead coupé. Coachbuilders Tickford of Newport Pagnell had started to play an increasingly important role as body suppliers to Aston Martin Lagonda during manufacture of the 2.6 litre. When the new 3 litre was announced in 1953, they assumed sole responsibility of body production for the two models, a two door saloon and drophead coupé (the four door saloon following later). The newly enlarged engine now produced 140 bhp, an output good enough for a top speed in excess of 100 mph. In October 1955, a revised MkII model was introduced and the range reduced to just the four door saloon after only five MkII dropheads had been completed. The model found favour with some illustrious characters including His Royal Highness The Duke of Edinburgh and the actor Peter Ustinov. LAG/50/503 has a continuous history from new. Originally supplied and registered by Brooklands of Bond Street Ltd London, to its first owner a Mr Charles Robert Volz who resided at 2 Magdalene House, Manor Fields, Putney, SW19, it was then sold back to Brooklands of Bond Street who subsequently sold it to a Mr Patrick Brunner who resided at 18 Addison Road, London, W14. There is the original bill of sale on the file which shows that Mr Brunner traded in a Lagonda 4.5 litre LG45, chassis number 012161, and was allowed £381 against the full amount of £705. He paid the balance by twelve monthly installments. Mr Brunner passed away in 1966 and the ownership passed into Mrs Brunner's hands who retained the car until the 1990s. One further owner was recorded before the vendor purchased the Lagonda. In his ownership the car has been used for touring, and to attend classic car events with the Lagonda Owner's Club and others. LAG/50/503 is presented in an original condition with a beautifully patinated grey leather interior with matching soft top and a hood cover. This rare Lagonda has a comprehensive history with numerous receipts, and some fascinating hand written letters from Mrs Brunner detailing the history of the car during her and her husband's ownership and letters from DVLA to retain the original registration number. This now offers a scarce opportunity to purchase one of the rarest of Lagonda models. RF60, V5C, MOT and tax exempt See back cover and other illustrations
A 1960 Austin 152 (J2) Paralanian motor caravan, registration number 778 HYD, chassis number J2CA60908, engine number 15JCN18800, cream/brown. The Paralanian built by Central Garages of Bradford at their Parry Works' premises, was Britain's first new generation of coach built motor caravans. It was the idea of works director, Clifford Hobson, who drew inspiration from his time with motor cabin cruisers and torpedo boats. The new hobby of motor caravanning was the preserve of the well heeled as a Paralanian cost the price of a three bedroom semi detached house at its launch and would remain a luxury purchase. This time warp example has covered only 31,000 miles from new. The first owner having seen the promotional vehicle at the 1960 Caravan Show at London's Earls Court placed an order and subsequently received one of the first van's after he had parted with £1,251. The first custodian would use the van until 1977, when sadly the owner's wife passed away and the vehicle would be put into storage in a barn, where it would remain until 1993, when it was purchased by a John and Margaret Lewis, who were friends of the first owner. There would be two further changes of owner until our vendor acquired the Austin in 2006. The van is very original with a wonderful preserved interior, having its original stove, sink, upholstery and fittings. The exterior coachwork was originally two tone grey, has been repainted to tan cream and cream and brown at some point. This charming and rare motor caravan, would be just the thing for the Goodwood Revival or other festivals, and is offered with a history file. V5C, MOT to October 2017 See illustrations Condition report NH: The car runs and will be driven to auction.
