Limited Edition Onoto 'The Horatio Nelson' Pen in Presentation Case. 44/100 Superb limited edition fountain pens in hallmarked Victory Silver® and blue enamel. RRP £1599.00 The barrel of the pen has been crafted in the style of Nelson's Column, while the cap is intricately enamelled in rich cobalt blue over an engine-turned wave pattern. The end of the cap bears a gilded silver button based on the fouled anchor buttons found on Nelson's uniform. The 3 gilded silver bands around the bottom of the cap have been designed to resemble the braid around the cuff of Nelson's sleeve. A silver cartouche with a rope border bears a facsimile of Nelson's signature and his dates. Pen Spec:18kt Gold, Size 7 Onoto Nib Ddesigned for Standard European Cartridge or Converter Filler. A George VI hallmarked silver hip flask of rectangular form with overall engine turned decoration and with hinged screw cap, A Nicholls & Son Ltd, Birmingham 1946, 13.5 x 8cm including cap, approx 6.2ozt. CONDITION REPORT: There is a major line dent to one side, also some nibbles to the base and a few minor dents to the top of the cap and tarnish and some stains of dirt overall. Poor condition. Hallmarks obscured. Postage within UK would be £15 + VAT.

CONDITION REPORT: Tip of blade is dented, scratched and worn. Marks clear and slightly misshaped.

A cylinder of 40HP eight cylinder Antoinette engine used on the first British airship "Nulli Secundus", built at Farnborough Hants 1907, in glazed case on rectangular mahogany base, also a copy of "A Historical Summary of The Royal Aircraft Factory in its Antecedents: 1878/1918" by S Child & CF Caunter (2). The famous American showman SF Cody was involved in the flight of "Nulli Secundus" when it circled St Paul's Cathedral but crash landed at Crystal Palace in 1907.
