Fire engine with yellow plastic extending rescue ladder. Both in near mint condition. Boxes show scuffing to corners, tear mark on one side of fire engine box.

Knights, 11th May 1827, nine etched caricatures on one sheet (as published), all with bright contemporary hand colouring, 350 x 380 mmQty: (4)NOTESThe first described item shows the locomotive, North Star, running into a group of people, who try to get out of its way. On the footplate are the driver and fireman, both completely indifferent to the carnage in front of the engine, with one man reading a newspaper and the other is dozing with his arms folded. The caricature was almost certainly inspired by William Huskisson MP's death at the opening of the Liverpool & Manchester Railway in September 1830.

(Crack in roof visible (not broken), small part of rear bumper missing). NOTE:The Volkswagen Beetle split window was produced from 1945 until 1953.
