A 1962 ARIEL LEADER MOTORCYCLE, 250 CC, REGISTRATION UMS 880. THE FRAME AND ENGINE NUMBERS MATCH FACTORY ISSUE AND THE V5C. THE REGISTRATION NUMBER IS TRANSFERABLE. 2 boxed 1977 Matchbox 75 Superfast emergency vehicles, #41 ambulance & #13 Snorkel fire engine. Ambulance in white with blue tinted windows, red cross ambulance decals and opening rear doors. Fire engine with yellow plastic extending rescue ladder. Both in near mint condition. Boxes show scuffing to corners, tear mark on one side of fire engine box.
2 boxed 1970's Matchbox Superfast diecast vehicles, #18 Hondarora together with #59 Planet Scout. Yellow & black Honda with silver engine and brown rider. Beige & metallic burgundy scout with yellow tinted windows and silver trim. Both vehicles in near mint condition, boxes have scuffed corners.

A pair of early 19th century albums, the first comprising: 149 (of 161) pages numbered in ink manuscript, each with contemporary ink manuscript poems, verses and prose, in the same hand, interspersed with 17 mostly full-page watercolour (and pencil) vignettes and scenes, including two Doctor Syntax scenes, View in the Pyrennes, the Great Mosque of Morocco, Portrait of a Lady, Richmond Castle, 3 views around Montserrat in Spain, Arabs on their Route, and other scenes such as The Rural Bridge, depicting two men fishing from a wooden bridge, the second album comprising: 86 pages of contemporary ink manuscript proverbs, comments, and verses, in the same hand, many satirical, several relating to the newspaper industry, also some observations on contemporary inventions such as a new Powerful Steam Engine installed at a Durham colliery, plus two watercolours including one of Sir Humphrey Davy's Safe-Lamp for the Coal Mines, occasional finger-soiling, scarce spotting, both front pastedowns with book ticket of G.B., all edges gilt, 1st album with sewing broken and partly disbound, uniform contemporary red half morocco, worn, 1st album lacking spine, 2nd album with upper part of spine torn and lifting away, 4to, together with: Album, 'Souvenirs', an early 19th century album, comprising 77 pages of contemporary ink manuscript verses and prose in a neat hand, with 13 fine pen & black ink vignette sketches, most dated c.1814-1816, some initialled G.E.C., plus a few miniature vignettes, generally toned with some pale spotting, contemporary maroon morocco, rubbed, front cover with gilt-lettered title, 8voQty: (3)

Knights, 11th May 1827, nine etched caricatures on one sheet (as published), all with bright contemporary hand colouring, 350 x 380 mmQty: (4)NOTESThe first described item shows the locomotive, North Star, running into a group of people, who try to get out of its way. On the footplate are the driver and fireman, both completely indifferent to the carnage in front of the engine, with one man reading a newspaper and the other is dozing with his arms folded. The caricature was almost certainly inspired by William Huskisson MP's death at the opening of the Liverpool & Manchester Railway in September 1830.

Original grey and white illustr. box, serving also as garage, containing the body of a detachable transparent plastic model of a 'Volkswagen-Limousine' (Volkswagen 'Beetle'), the interior consisting of a steering wheel and 6 loose parts (3 seats, engine, spare wheel, and petrol tank). (Crack in roof visible (not broken), small part of rear bumper missing). NOTE:The Volkswagen Beetle split window was produced from 1945 until 1953.
