A DISTRESSED TINPLATE HORSE BUS, no makers marks, may be scratchbuilt, appears hand painted, red and yellow and black livery and sign written for Highfield Park and Rudyard ?, Highfield Park Races for 1868 from Cartwright St, some damage and paint loss, length approximately 15cm, with a tinplate pull-along railway carriage, no makers marks, would appear to be scratchbuilt, maroon and black livery with opening door to each side, some damage, wear and paint loss, length approximately 15cm, on flanged wheels, gauge approximately 8cm, with a vintage wooden tumbling acrobat toy, a damaged Schuco tinplate clockwork toy, a small wooden pipe and the remains of two Hornby O gauge clockwork locomotives, No.2 4-4-0 engine in L.M.S. black (chassis only) and possibly No.2 4-4-2 special tank locomotive, in L.M.S maroon, both are distressed, but may yield some spare parts, no keys (7)

Of military and 7th Gurkha Rifles interest, three enamelled silver cases made for the 7th Gurkha Rifles by Page, Keen & Page, Birmingham c.1930, to include a square engine turned powder compact, the hinged lid with guilloche enamels in regiment colours, applied crossed Kukris with centralised '7', 2¼in. (5.7cm.) square; a rectangular cigarette case of conforming design, hallmarked 1931, 3½ x 2½in. (8.9 x 6.4cm.); and a similar rectangular card case, push button release to front, inscribed to interior of lid, 'Sybil, 23.1.31' (Sybil Mackay, wife of Lt. Colonel A.S. Mackay), hallmarked 1930, 2½ x 1¾in. (4.5 x 6.3cm.). (3)
A fine and rare early Victorian engraved gilt brass hump-back carriage clock by James Murray of London, with single fusee movement with four plain pillars and horizontal gilt platform escapement, rear winding, 90mm silvered Roman dial with engine turned centre, fleur de lys steel hands, within a quarter gilt mask with engraved central reserve inscribed 'Ja's Murray, 30, Cornhill London 1248', engraved with two cornucopia overflowing with flowers, the hump-back case with trailing floral and foliate engraving throughout, unusual two-piece hinged interlocking carrying handle, on four engraved bracket supports, 6in. (15.25cm.) high, 2¼in. (5.75cm.) deep, 5¼in. (13.3cm.) wide.
A George V silver cigarette case, Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co. Ltd., London 1928, rectangular with bevelled edges, engine turned decoration with Greek key design borders, rectangular rose gold reserve to upper left bearing the initials 'A.M.' (for Lt. Colonel A. S. Mackay, 7th Gurkha Rifles) 4½ x 3¼in. (11.5 x 8.3cm.).
Four silver vesta cases, including examples by Hilliard & Thomason, Birmingham 1883, oval form, side hinged lid; Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1911, rectangular form, side hinged lid, striker to base, engraved 'L.C.C.R. from A.S.M.' [Lt. Col. A. S. Mackay, 7th Gurkha Rifles] to front; one of square form, maker's mark rubbed, Birmingham 1905, engraved to bottom right of front 'L.C.C.R., A Coy Run 1905'; one unmarked, rectangular form, outer case with concave cut out to right side to enable interior to be pivoted sideways, initialled monogram to front; together with an unmarked silver card case, rectangular with lined and waved engine turned decoration and two hand inscribed signatures one stating 'Residency Tennis Marker Indore', gross weight 5.7 tr.oz. A 19th century Austro-Hungarian silver-gilt snuff box, maker's mark SES, 1840, rectangular form, plain sides and engine-turned base, the hinged cover with a cast relief panel of a mounted horseman wielding a sword, with foliate scroll decoration, engine-turned border, length 8.2cm, approx. weight 3.5oz.
