1995 Nissan Skyline R33 GT-R V-Spec Transmission: manualMileage:62961The new R33 Skyline GT-R was launched in January 1995 with a base GT-R and the V-Spec model, which offered a sportier suspension set-up resulting in lower ground clearance and featured the newer ATTESA E-TS Pro all-wheel drive system, which included an Active Limited-Slip Differential which, at the time, made it arguably the most technologically advanced production car in the world. The system was conceived in the 1990s for the JTCC to enable some 600bhp to be fed through the wheels and on to the racetrack efficiently. The V-Spec also featured an active LSD on the rear axle which further aided traction by calculating the optimum torque-split between the left and right rear wheels, variable from fully locked to totally free. The increased body rigidity and improved handling potential over the previous generation R32 necessitated several specially designed cross members being incorporated into the monocoque and extra torsion bars were added to the multi-link suspension to further enhance stability. Working closely with Bridgestone technicians to perfect the Potenza tyres, Nissan put the prototype R33 GT-R through its paces in all weathers at the notorious Nürburgring, earning them a daring reputation amongst other manufacturers. Power came from the now legendary RB26DETT, Nissan's 2.6 litre twin-turbocharged straight-six masterpiece. This R33 GT-R V-Spec is rather special. Our vendor knew this car for a number of years before buying it, it belonged to a family friend and had always been his dream car, so when the opportunity came to buy it, he jumped at it. The car is presented in possibly the best, and most famous, colour for a Skyline, Midnight Purple, which presents in absolutely outstanding condition following a full bare metal respray. In recent years this car has been through a restoration costing in excess of £45,000 and covering very little mileage since, the condition throughout speaks for itself. Frankly, no stone was left unturned, the underside was all re-powercoated, new polybushes fitted throughout, AP Racing brakes all round with six-pot calipers upfront and four-pot calipers at the rear, and an engine set up to die for. The car now produces 500bhp on low-boost and up to 610bhp on high boost, which the seller informs us was his target for a very safe and reliable power output, these engines can be pushed much further but at this level the parts aren't stressed to their limits. The engine was fully stripped down and rebuilt, with the following specification, HKS super sqv4 dump valve, aluminium radiator, aluminium intercooler, Bosch 1000 cc injectors, Garrett GT2860-5 turbo's, HKS power flow exhaust system and Haltech elite 2000 ECU. Our vendor reports the car drives absolutely superbly, being very compliant in normal driving conditions. The Nissan Skyline GT-R is possibly one of the most legendary and desirable JDM cars of the 1990's and this example has been restored and rebuild by a true enthusiast with the addition of tasteful and well proven upgrades. Offered with a very attractive estimate, this could be the exact GT-R you have been waiting for.

1962 Jaguar Mk. X Transmission: automaticMileage:45823The Jaguar Mk. X was the top of the range saloon car built by the British manufacturer primarily aimed at the United States market. The unitary construction bodyshell was codenamed 'Zenith' during development and this floor pan continued in production long after Mk. X production ended, as the DS420 Limousine. The interior was the last Jaguar with abundant standard woodwork, including the dashboard, escutcheons, window trim, a pair of large book-matched fold-out rear picnic tables and a front seat pull-out picnic table stowed beneath the instrument cluster. Later, air conditioning and a sound-proof glass division between the front and rear seats were available as options. The Mk. X was the first Jaguar saloon to feature independent rear suspension and differed from earlier large Jaguar saloons in having 14 wheels instead of the more common 15. The front suspension used double wishbones with coil springs and telescopic dampers. The car initially featured a 3,781cc version of Jaguar's XK in-line, six-cylinder engine. For the London Motor Show in October 1964, the enlarged 4,235cc unit took over although the 3.8 litre unit could still be specified until October 1965. Many domestic market cars and almost all cars destined for the important North American markets left the factory with a Borg Warner automatic gearbox. Stopping power for this heavy car came from servo assisted disc brakes on all four wheels; power assisted steering was standard. The current owner purchased this fabulous Jaguar on 2nd November 2003 with a recorded mileage of 43,194 miles; the car at the time was not on the road and needed a bit of attention to get through an MoT. Once MoT'd he used the car for just over a year and then decided to either to sell it or restore it. The latter decision was made and the stripping of the Jaguar commenced which he has captured on the two CD discs that are in the history file for the new owner to have as a record. Once the car was stripped, it was sent to the bodyshop to be prepared and painted, while this process was being achieved the woodwork was sent to be restored and all the seats, door cards, rear parcel shelf and front under shelf were sent to be retrimmed. To complete this work, six hides of red leather were used to completely retrim the car which, as can be seen, has turned out to be absolutely stunning. Once the car was returned from painting, the rebuild began with the headlining being completed first and then the refurbished woodwork being pieced back together, firstly around the headlining and then down the pillars, the dashboard was next which took quite a while with regards to the refitting of the clocks and gauges and after this, the rear picnic tables were fitted, therefore, completing this stage. Brand new carpets were fitted which were supplied by BAS of Newport again this was quite fiddly especially around the sills and the centre console but was eventually achieved. All chromework was then refitted to the car which included door handles, bumpers, front and rear lights, roof chrome, new rear boot chrome, new front grille and then bonnet chrome. Once completed the seats were fitted and then all door cards, centre console with a brand-new period radio which has Bluetooth etc, rear parcel shelf and any other areas were finished off with the leather trim. Finally, the boot was retrimmed to match the red interior of the car which gives a much nicer look than the usual Jaguar biscuit colour. After completion of the rebuild, the carburettors were completely restored and a brand-new stainless-steel exhaust system was fitted and the radiator then received a re-core, all new water hoses, water pump, thermostat and a brand-new set of ignition leads and plugs followed by an electronic ignition set to finish off. The present vendor has had the pleasure of owning the vehicle for nearly 20 years of which 14 were restoring this magnificent vehicle and as you can see the car now has a recorded mileage of 45,823 miles, this means the car has only covered 2,629 miles in his ownership. This is a simply stunning example of this British classic and surely must be one of the finest available.

1946 Jaguar Mk. IV Transmission: manualMileage:39759The 1945-1948 Jaguar Mk. IV was Jaguar's first car after World War II and was essentially continuations of the 1938-39 models. Very few of these cars were built for the right hand drive markets as steel was being rationed for goods for export. The origin of the name is rather odd since, back in 1948, there had been no Mk. I to IV Jaguars; the Mk. IV designation was only given to the predecessor after the launch of the Mk. V to make identification easier. Most were four-door saloons and all shared the same bodyshell except for the 1.5 litre model which had a six inch shorter wheelbase and had a four instead of six-cylinder engine. This was the first car to bear the legendary Jaguar name after 1945 (SS having been dropped for understandable marketing reasons after the war) and the Mk. IV Jaguar is felt by many to be the epitome of British car design of its era. The huge chrome headlamps, sweeping wings and running boards, luxurious leather interior, French polished wood all speak of style and opulence. This example, when purchased by the vendor was used on a regular basis. However, the car was taken off the road around 15 years ago and dry stored. We are advised the 3½ litre engine runs and the car drives although some recommissioning will be required. The bodywork is in relatively good order and the interior appears original with a delightful patina. The toolkit in the rear boot lid is intact, although there are some items missing, not surprising as the car is 77 years old. Supplied with a V5C registration document, this rare and interesting Jaguar Mk. IV represents an opportunity for an enthusiast to improve the car and enjoy the pleasure of owning a 1940s classic.

2001 Aston Martin DB7 Vantage Transmission: automaticMileage:47500Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in 1993, the Ian Callum styled DB7 began production in 1994 at a new factory in Bloxham, Oxfordshire. It was engineered in conjunction with Tom Walkinshaw's TWR group who built the new supercharged six-cylinder engine. In 1999, the new DB7 Vantage with a V12 engine was revealed. It didn't just bring a new powertrain but more aggressive styling with a bigger front grille, new fog, side and indicator lights and imposing 18" wheels.Presented in Canna Di Fucile, a Ferrari colourway commonly referred to as CDF, with a black leather trim and charcoal piping which matches the carpets and the dash is finished with walnut veneer, this 2001 Vantage boasts just 47,500 miles from new. The bodywork is described as very good with the wheels equally unmarked and a bonus in a classic car, the radio has been uprated to accommodate Bluetooth mobile phone connectivity. The history boasts a comprehensive Aston Martin dealer and specialist service history but for a few gaps in the earlier years when our vendor believers the car was SORN, also found in the file is the original Aston Martin communication confirming the desirable colour combination. Recent works include all 12 coil packs replaced in 2019 and in July 2020 the underside rust protection was renewed, front suspension overhauled, and lower wishbone bushes and road springs replaced along with the alternator, the spring pans, radius arm bushes and N/S/R and O/S/R outer fulcrum bearings. The Vapour management valves, and purge valves were replaced in November 2021 and the handbrake system was overhauled coupled to new shoes in September 2021. In October 2022, the idler pulley, tensioner belt drive, FEAD drive belt and flat Idler pulley were all replaced with the gear selector lever and assembly along with the front O/S subframe v-mounts and engine earth cable. Today the V12 DB7 is still an achingly gorgeous sportscar and this example is specified in an unusually subtle colour combination. Very attractively priced, this is a stunning example of a collectable Aston Martin.

1969 Mercedes-Benz 280 SL Pagoda Transmission: automaticMileage:59035Mercedes-Benz have produced some of the most famous sporting classic cars the world has ever seen, no more so than the 280 SL Pagoda dating back to the 1960's. With three engine options on offer, the most collectible was, by far, the 2.8 litre model. Not only BMW, France's TGV and Citroën, Paul Bracq was the designer responsible for the skilful lines that made-up this range of sporting icons. All bonnet panels, door skins, boot lids and tonneau covers were composed of aluminium giving the car an overall lightness which contributed to the performance that was very well received by the general public. The driving experience and build quality are highly respected and, as a result, still highly collectable today.Built originally for the American market, this 1969 model was imported into the UK in 2012 as a rust-free example. With 55,454 miles recorded at that time, it was sold to the previous owner who then placed it into secure storage. Since then, it was delivered to custom car specialists Hot Rod Technologies based in Hayes, Middlesex for a complete, ground-up restoration. During that time, the car was brought up to European specification which included removing the side marker lamps and the fitting of European-style headlights. It was also finished in the fetching original blue colour, code #903, with matching hardtop, dark blue soft top and a tan leather interior. It also benefits from the original factory air-conditioning unit and is supplied with V5C registration documents, a documented full photographic restoration and an valid MoT test certificate. These Pagodas are always a pleasure to drive, particularly in good weather when the roof is down and the smooth six-cylinder engine can really be enjoyed.

1965 Jaguar E-Type Series I Roadster (4.2 litre) Transmission: manualMileage:21265Famously launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show, the Jaguar E-Type created a furore. Its combination of supercar performance, superb styling and a low-price tag left rivals reeling and customers clamouring. Built as a monocoque with a front sub-frame to cradle the engine, the model's combination of all-round independent suspension (torsion-bar front/coil-sprung rear) rack and pinion steering and four-wheel disc brakes gave it excellent road holding and handling capabilities. Fed by triple SU HD8 carburettors and topped with a 'straight port' DOHC cylinder head, its indomitable 3781cc straight-six engine was quoted as developing some 265bhp and 260lbft of torque. Allied to a four-speed Moss gearbox, it reputedly enabled the low-slung two-seater to sprint from 0-60mph in 6.9 seconds and onto 150mph. While any E-Type roadster is desirable, the lithesome free-revving 3.8 litre cars enjoy a particularly exalted status; however, the later Series I, 4.2 litre was a better engine. Coming from a large private collection and long-term ownership, the Jaguar E-Type on offer here is a genuine UK supplied, matching numbers, manual gearbox car. Unusual in the vendor's collection, he has held onto this car for the past twenty years and is now only selling to free up money and space for a new project. Maintained by both his own two full time mechanics and Malcolm Collinson Restorations in Farnham, Surrey, the car has wanted for nothing and always been dry stored in his purpose built, carpeted 60 car garage. Described as the only one of his cars his wife actually enjoys going out in, the 4.2 litre Series I car is known in E-Type circles as being the best balance in terms of drivability, comfort and looks. The vendor reports the car to run and drive very well and is torn at the idea of moving it on to a new custodian, but has decided to let it go and be enjoyed by someone else.   Supplied with a V5C registration document, maintenance and service handbook, many MoT test certificates and invoices for work carried out by Malcolm Collinson. The best E-Type, in the best specification and from a long term, loving home. What more could a passionate new E-Type owner ask for?

1984 MG Metro Turbo Transmission: manualMileage:7376The MG Metro was introduced in October 1982 some six months after the launch of the MG Metro 1300. The MG Metro Turbo was a leader for its day with the Lotus Engineering assisted design for the very comprehensive changes that were done to the engine which was very capable of handling the modest 93 bhp the standard engine was quoted at, although many actually delivered closer to 100 in standard unmodified form. Later tuned race cars would push that power to 200bhp, a massive power level for that period and even more so for a 1300cc engine. Other positive features included powerful servo assisted brakes using four-pot calipers and ventilated discs up front. The Turbo also came with a bodykit that provided a front spoiler and four-wheel spats to go with the MG Metro rear spoiler and this together with the use of Turbo only specific larger 13" alloy wheels and low profile tyres the individual look was enhanced considerably. One of the pocket rockets of its day, only 22,000 were made and survivors very rarely come to market now.First registered on 21st March 1984, the MG Metro Turbo offered here is nothing short of incredible. The car is completely original having been lovingly cared for by its first owner for the first 30 years of its life. Mr. Lamont purchased the car new from Lex Mead of Bexleyheath, Kent for the sum of £5,500. The car was used lightly for the first five years when a mere 6,532 miles were put on it. The car was then taken off the road by Mr. Lamont and stored in the garage at his new home until July 1999 when it was displayed at the Guildford MG show. Whilst stored the car had been regularly started to maintain it. Winning its class in concours events in both 2001 and 2002, Mr. Lamont felt he had made his point that his car was truly exceptional. In the years since it has covered few miles, but always maintained in perfect running order. Amazingly, all the documentation remains with the car from the original V5 logbook, to its original purchase invoice book pack and manuals. Along with the prizes won there are many receipts and relevant period publications. The car is so original that other than a light refurbishment to the seat covers in 2012 and a total brake overhaul in 2013, the car is totally original. It sits on a set of original wheels with modern tyres, but the original wheels that came with the car from new and their original tyres are also included. Having resided since 2019 as part of a large collection, the vendor has decided to move the car on to free up both space and funds for a new project. He reports the car to run and drive very well and is a time warp example, impossible to replicate.Supplied with a V5C registration document, original invoice, book pack, maintenance and service handbooks, many MoT test certificates, invoices, photo CD and publications. This presents a once in a lifetime opportunity to acquire a three owner, full history from new, perfect condition example.

2004 Mercedes-Benz SL500 Transmission: automaticMileage:67338The Mercedes-Benz R129 models were produced from 1989 through to 2001 and were sold under the SL Class model names. The R129 replaced the R107 SL Class in 1989 and was subsequently replaced by the R230 in 2001. The R129 was based on the shortened floorpan of the Mercedes-Benz W124 saloon and featured many innovative details for the time. The R129 came to public attention in 1991 when Diana, Princess of Wales, sold her Jaguar XJS to lease a J-registration, metallic red 500 SL, becoming the first member of the royal family to use a foreign car. This controversy sparked a media storm as it was questioned whether a member of British royalty should drive foreign cars. The fifth generation of the legendary SL series of two-door convertible sports cars made by Mercedes-Benz was known as the R230. It featured a fully retractable hardtop that was marketed as the Vario Roof; a first for the SL Class although it had been available on the smaller SLK model since 1997.Originally registered on 8th June 2004, this Mercedes-Benz presents very well. With the modest mileage of 67,338 the 4966cc engine is barely run in. Finished in silver with a black leather interior, this SL500 is supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 16th February 2024. The SL500 is a well-appointed Mercedes with air conditioning, electric windows, cruise control and heated seats all as standard equipment. In addition to the above these great looking cars offer flexibility with a retractable hardtop and at the push of a button, convertible motoring.

1985 Porsche 911 Cabriolet (3.2 Litre) Transmission: manualMileage:122000Many a car enthusiast, at one time or another, has dreamt of owning a Porsche 911 and few have set the pulses racing like the poster car for the 80's generation than the 930 with its iconic whale tail accompanied by fabulous performance. Launched in 1984 and reviving the 'Carrera' name for the first time since 1977, the most notable advance on the 80's Carrera was the introduction of the 3.2 litre engine; although it remained an air-cooled 'flat-six', the 3.2 was 80% new. With 231bhp on tap, the new 'boxer' motor endowed the Carrera with a level of performance approaching that of the original 911 Turbo of 1974, a torque-rich 231bhp, enough to propel the lithe and slippery coupé to over 150mph with 0-60mph coming up in 5.6 seconds. All 3.2 Carrera's feature galvanised bodies which, together with Porsche's legendary build quality, ensure that these classics are long lasting. This example is presented in the iconic Guards Red with a black interior. Prior to our vendor purchasing the car, it had been owned by a charity who were very kindly gifted the car. It spent a long period of time in storage before being sold, so has recently been through a recommissioning process focussing on ensuring the car drives exactly as it should, the brakes had some attention due to the lack of use and the car was fully serviced. The car will be driven from Exeter to the sale. The car has a huge history file containing various invoices over the years for servicing and other works. An air-cooled 911 is always going to be something truly special, even more so in 2023 as Porsche celebrates its 75th anniversary, so why not join in the fun?

1964 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Transmission: manualMileage:74600The 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL, also known as the 'Pagoda', is a classic luxury sports car that epitomises elegance and performance. With its sleek and timeless design, it captivates car enthusiasts even today. Powered by a 2.3 litre inline-six engine, it delivers a smooth driving experience and impressive acceleration. The 230 SL features a unique, detachable hardtop resembling a pagoda roof, which adds to its iconic appeal. Its luxurious interior boasts comfortable leather seats, modern amenities for its time, and excellent craftsmanship. The 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230 SL represents a perfect blend of style, power, and sophistication, making it a coveted collector's item. This stunning example was supplied by franchised dealer Carols of Wolverhampton on 1st July 1964. The car changed hands in 1973 and was used until 1978 when it was placed in long term storage. It re-emerged in 2017 and has since undergone a comprehensive list of work. These works have been undertaken by two retired Carols of Wolverhampton mechanics who between them have an impressive 100 years of Mercedes experience. The list of items attended to include an overhaul of the brake calipers, servo, master cylinder, clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder. All brake hoses were replaced, as was the propshaft centre bearing mounting. The gearbox was overhauled and benefits from new bearings and fresh transmission oil. The original Bosch electric fuel pump was refurbished as was the entire fuel system including the fitting of new fuel pipes. The radiator has received an uprated core and all new hoses. A new head gasket was fitted and all engine gaskets have been replaced. The list of work continues and includes reconditioning the starter motor and injector pump. The engine bolts and engine mountings, distributor cap, all plug leads and plug caps have all been replaced. Evidence of further works is available in the history file for this car and includes sympathetic refurbishment of the interior, a respray and the fitting of a new mohair hood. Although, often said this car really is ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian.

1987 Porsche 911 Super Sports Transmission: manualMileage:107060Introduced in 1984, the Porsche 911 Carrera 3.2 was the last incarnation of the 'pure' 911 and was a replacement for the SC model, made between 1978 and 1983. The engine capacity was increased to 3.2 litres, Bosch fuel injection was fitted, and power was up to 231bhp, at least for the European market. With a lack of driver aids such as ABS and power steering, the Carrera 3.2 is said to offer one of the purest 911 driving experiences. Rarest of them all is the 'Turbo look' widebody, known as the 'Super Sport' in the UK. The lucky few buyers would have had to place their order through the 'Sonderwusch' (special wishes) programme and stump up in excess of £10,000 over the base price.Presented in Guards Red with a black leather trim and boasting the Super Sport code '491', this widebody, turbo wing example had been owned by its vendor since 2005. The original service booklet shows a comprehensive service history with main dealer and specialists until 2002 and 81,132 miles, since this date it has been cared for both by vendor and a local mechanic who was a Porsche enthusiast. Countless MoT test certificates show that since 2002 the mileage has year on year been reducing with the last few years trips restricted to 150-200 miles only, the car has however always remained garaged in this time. A car that boasts just six former keepers, one being husband and wife, this example will also receive a new MoT test certificate prior to the sale and represents one of the most desirable 80's Porsche's money can buy. The History file includes the full book pack, V5C registration document, MoT test certificates and valuations from JZM Porsche coupled to a number of invoices and technical specifications. This example with the G50 gearbox and 3.2 litre flat-six engine has to be seen to be appreciated and will be very popular given the upswell in 80's 911 values.

1997 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Targa Transmission: automaticMileage:66500The C5 Corvette - only the fifth incarnation of America's most popular sports car since its introduction in 1953 - was launched to rave reviews in 1997 and featured an all-new body that was both modern and much stronger than before. With a rear-mounted transaxle for the first time, the Corvette had near perfect 50:50 weight distribution and more interior space as well. The new alloy block LS1 V8, an engine Australian's have grown to love over the years, used state-of-the-art technology with a cast-alloy head and developed a massive 345bhp at 5600rpm along with 350lb/ft of torque. There was a choice of two transmissions, including GM's own electronically controlled four-speed manual or the Borg-Warner six-speed manual with a Getrag limited-slip diff. An Electronic Throttle Control system enabled a limitless range of throttle progression. The shapely and more aero coupé body featured a removable hardtop while the new twin-pod instrument panel recalled the Stingrays of the Sixties in design. Despite being larger than the previous C4 Vette, Chevrolet's engineers actually managed to shed weight through the clever use of lightweight materials and more compact LS1 engine, performance improved markedly as a result. The quarter-mile was dispatched in 13.28 seconds and 0-100km/h took just five seconds, making this one of the fastest cars on the road in 1997. The C5 Corvette was, arguably for the first time ever, a world class sports car genuinely capable of matching the best European cars on every level. Factory-backed C5-R racers took on the Porsches in major endurance races from 1999, scoring some significant wins. Today, the C5 offers unrivalled value for money in terms of looks, performance and reliability. This superb example is presented in silver with a black leather interior. It comes with electric windows, electric seats, suede headlining, cruise control and a factory fitted Bose entertainment system with CD player. The present owner imported this Corvette in March 2022 and then set about converting the headlights to comply with UK regulation, powder coated the wheels and fitted an aftermarket Bassani exhaust system and a KNN induction air filter. Its four-speed automatic gearbox is mated to a LS1 5.7 litre Chevrolet V8 providing excellent performance. The car comes with various handbooks and Corvette wallet, Carfax information sheet which verifies its mileage, two sets of keys and a new MoT test certificate. This is a great American muscle car presented in good condition at a reasonable price.

2007 Bentley Continental GTC Transmission: automaticMileage:78907The Bentley Continental GT was the first car released by Volkswagen AG after their acquisition of the company in 1998 and was unveiled at the 2003 Geneva Motor Show, followed by Le Mans, Goodwood Festival of Speed and the annual Bentley Drivers Club meeting at Silverstone. The car differed significantly from the previous Continental R and T models in terms of its concept; although much of the car is hand-assembled, this Bentley was made in significantly larger numbers than previously. As a result, the price at launch was substantially less than the Continental R, thus exposing the car to a much wider and new customer base as a more affordable car. A Continental GTC is equipped with a 6.0 litre, twin-turbocharged W12 engine and produces 603bhp with an impressive top speed of 202mph. Torsen-based permanent four-wheel drive is standard. This lovely 2007 Bentley Continental GTC left the Bentley factory painted in silver with a lovely black leather interior. Sometime in the recent past the then owner decided that he would like the car to be white and had the car professionally wrapped. Since 2019, this car has been looked after by marque specialist, The Chelsea Workshops who have maintained the car to a high standard, they carried out the last service in March 2022, less than 100 miles ago, before it went into storage. The Chelsea Workshop have recently taken the car out of storage, checked it through, and had a MoT test carried out. Supplied with a V5C registration document, the MoT test certificate which expires in June 2024, an owner's handbook and invoices from 2019. The Bentley Continental GTC is a remarkable car that combines style, performance and luxury in one impressive package. It is a car that is sure to turn heads and provide an unforgettable driving experience for anyone lucky enough to get behind the wheel.

1969 Fiat Abarth 595 Evocation Transmission: manualMileage:94778It is not so often that a motorcar surprises us. The Fiat 500 surely needs little introduction, suffice to say that this compact car became ripe for tuning with Abarth leading the way in converting them into successful fast road and racing cars of the period. With genuine Abarth models now seeing some extraordinary prices, it is no surprise that many have been converted to replicate these versions of the Fiat 500.This classic Fiat 500 started life as a 'Lusso' model when a previous owner who was declared an aficionado of the marque and well known for his work on Abarth's in the northwest of Italy, carefully and sympathetically converted to an Abarth recreation. The 650cc engine has been rebuilt and fettled to an Abarth specification and includes the decals. The interior of this car replicates an original Abarth with a Jaeger binnacle, steering wheel and dashboard badging. Our vendor who is an avid Fiat 500 and Abarth collector has owned this example since 2016 and is selling due to rationalising his collection. 1965 David Brown Tractor Transmission: manualMileage:57851Probably better known for his ownership of Aston Martin from 1947 to 1972, David Brown become M.D. of the family business, David Brown Gear Company Ltd in 1931. He turned to tractor manufacturing in 1936 in collaboration with Harry Ferguson, manufacturing the Ferguson-Brown tractor in West Yorkshire. The company broke new ground which others were only to follow later, but being a pioneering company ultimately led to its downfall. The Ferguson-Brown had many innovative features, including the use of cast alloy for many components which was light but prone to damage. David Brown Ltd became one of the largest manufacturers of tractors, however the owner's continued subsidisation of Aston Martin was unsustainable, and the sports car maker was sold in 1972. The tractor division was purchased by Tenneco International and re-badged the product as 'Case'.Manufactured in 1965, this tractor is thought to have spent its early life working on farms up until the early 90's. This tractor has been restored to a good standard and we are led to believe the work was undertaken in the early 2000's by its then owner, since the restoration the tractor has been used sparingly and used more as a working ornament than as an agricultural tractor hence its colourway. Boasting a new battery, the three-cylinder diesel engine started on the button during our visit, this tractor is one not to be missed and is ready to be used.Estimate £3,000-£7,000

2009 Jaguar X-Type Estate Ex-HM Queen Elizabeth II Transmission: automaticMileage:72975The Jaguar X-Type is a front-engine, all-wheel/front-wheel drive compact executive car manufactured and marketed from 2001 to 2009. In addition to offering Jaguar's first estate in series production, the X-Type would ultimately introduce its first diesel engine, four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive configuration. The X-Type was developed during the period when Jaguar was owned by Ford as a division of its Premier Automotive Group (PAG) (1999-2009) and marked Jaguar's entry into the critical compact executive segment. The estate was the first Jaguar model designed by Ian Callum. From its saloon counterpart, the design revised 420 tooled parts and 58 stampings for all components rearward of the windscreen, adding 150 pounds. This fantastic piece of Royal history is presented in Emerald Fire with Barley leather interior and the first owner was HM Queen Elizabeth II. This is confirmed by its original booklet stating its registration as PYN IF which can also be seen in photos with HM the Queen at the wheel. It comes with a sunroof, automatic transmission, electric windows, climate control, a good service history, Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate and has been well maintained. The Royal Family might have a long history with Bentley state limousines, but they love Jaguars as well. Although the late Queen Elizabeth II was seen behind the wheel of several cars during her long reign, her favourite seems to be the Land Rover Defender. She had a particular liking for this model, but when that was unavailable, she had a back-up car, a Jaguar X-Type Estate. In the pictures available on the internet, you can see HM Queen Elizabeth II driving this very car with Her Majesty wearing sunglasses and a headscarf/hat which was so typical. She looked happy and healthy, leaving Windsor Castle behind her and at the wheel of the Jaguar, driving up the Long Walk. From 2004 to 2009, the X-Type Estate wasn't among the most desirable models the brand ever built but who would have thought this would be one of Queen Elizabeth II's go-to vehicles? It came with two fuel options and the biggest engine, though, was petrol. It was a 3.0 litre V6 engine, which was the option Queen Elizabeth II had for this particular car. This Jaguar was purchased from one of our previous auctions for the sole reason to be then sold for Comic Relief and raise money for charity which it did to the tune of £300,000. The present owner won the car and is now selling it and has generously decided to offer a percentage of the proceeds to Great Ormand Street hospital for sick children. This surely is a car for the serious collector or Royalist and with a provenance which is impossible to match, this is unique! Please note that the private registration that you may have seen online or viewed in any publications is not being sold with the car.Photos of the Queen credited to Jim Bennett

2001 Ferrari 360 Modena Spider Transmission: manualMileage:28000The Ferrari 360 was manufactured from 1999 to 2005 and succeeded the F355. It is a mid-engine, rear-wheel drive and V8 powered coupé. Ferrari partnered with Alcoa to produce an entirely new, all aluminium space-frame chassis that was 40% stiffer than the F355. Along with a lightweight frame, the new Pininfarina body styling deviated from traditions of the previous decade's sharp angles and flip-up headlights. The new V8 engine utilised a 3.6 litre capacity and, despite what looked like, on paper, as modest gains, in reality the power to weight ratio was significantly improved. The first model to be rolled out was the 360 Modena, followed later by the 360 Spider and finally, as a special edition, the Challenge Stradale.Finished in an out of range body colour, specially ordered at the time, Tour de France blue with tan leather. This stunning manual 360 Spider has covered a mere 28,000 miles from new and has been with our vendor a private owner for the past decade. Originally registered on 24th May 2001 this four previous owner example boasts a service history with Maranello initially between 2002 and 2008 (six services including cambelts twice) before Rosneath continued to service the car five further times up until 21,906 miles before servicing was then taken over by SMDG for a full cambelt service at 22,992 miles. Our vendor purchased the car as the second owner in 2004 with just 1,112 miles on the clock from Maranello for £121,000 and owned for four years until 2008 when he sold the car to a Ferrari collector and registered under Knight Frank LLP but our vendor regretted the decision and five years later in 2013 decided to buy the car back to place in his collection having such fond memories of the car. Supplied with the Ferrari Certificate of Conformity the car was specified when new with red brake calipers, electronically operated seats, xenon lights with power wash, enamel Scuderia wing shields, Daytona seat inserts and a six-disc CD changer. The manual 360 is fast becoming a prized asset for collectors and in what has to be one of the best colour combinations for a spider we have seen this is a fabulous opportunity to own one of the best drivers Ferrari's of the modern era, our vendor liked it so much he bought it twice!

1972 Ford Transit Mk. I Transmission: manualMileage:99Ford's ubiquitous Transit range needs little introduction. Launched in 1965, it has been Europe's best-selling light commercial vehicle for the last 40 years, and is now into its fourth-generation and Mk.7 incarnation. More intriguingly, in the 1970s, no less than 95 per cent of robberies employing a vehicle apparently involved a Transit of some description! Famed for bringing car-like handling, drive-ability and comfort to the van world, it was the ideal base for all manner of conversions, including motor caravans. Power in the early models was supplied by 1.7 or 2.0-litre V4 versions of Ford's Essex powerplant. The suspension was deliberately basic, with live axles front and rear. A wide track provided exceptional stability.Built in 1972, but not registered until 1st February 1973, this Mk. I 'single wheel' Ford Transit presents beautifully having just gone through a full restoration. The body was stripped back to bare metal at which point all necessary repairs were undertaken. This included repairs to the floors, chassis legs, bulk head, doors, windows and windscreen surrounds. The van was then treated to a full respray in Ford Light Blue. Fitted with a later Ford Transit engine along with a five-speed gearbox, the van also benefits from modern vehicle reliability. It has also been subtly upgraded with a hidden removable tow hitch, (which hides behind the rear number plate) and the rear interior has been professionally 'wooded out' by a skilled carpenter to a high standard. The van is reported to 'start on the button' and to run and drive very well. Forming part of a large private collection throughout its restoration, the van was originally intended to be a race support vehicle for the vendors historic racing endeavours and is now only now for sale to free up some space for a new incoming project. These early Mk. I Transits are hard to come by, let alone in such wonderful condition and sympathetically upgraded to be practical and pleasant to drive in modern conditions and as such, is an opportunity not to be missed.

1960 Austin Healey Sprite Mk. I 'Frogeye' Transmission: manualMileage:59351The 1958 Austin Healey Sprite was announced to the motoring press in Monte Carlo on 20th May 1958 and just prior to the Monaco Grand Prix. Designed by the Donald Healey Motor Company, the car came under the BMC umbrella with production being carried out at the MG works at Abingdon in Oxfordshire. Its specifications were basic being without exterior door handles; the driver and passenger were required to reach inside to open the door and access to the spare wheel and luggage compartment was achieved by tilting the seat-backs forward and reaching under the rear deck. This cost cutting exercise kept the price down to £669. Power was supplied by a 948cc overhead valve engine derived from the Morris Minor and Austin A35. The cute looks soon led to it being known as the 'Frogeye' in the UK and 'Bugeye' in the US. Its nickname derived from the headlights prominently mounted on top of the bonnet and inboard of the front wings.Originally registered on 19th May 1960 and still bearing its original registration number of 855 PPE, this Austin Healey was manufactured on 21st April 1960 and was despatched to the supplying dealer, Wimbledon Motors Limited on 2nd May. The current vendor is a very knowledgeable enthusiast and he purchased this 'Frogeye' in 2019 and restored the car throughout the lockdown period. Floors have been replaced as have the spring hangers and sills on both sides. The engine is a 1098 unit and has previously had a rebuild with the cylinder head being gas flowed. The head was skimmed giving a compression ratio of 9.5:1. The vendor has carried out additional engine works, replacing the big-ends and also the cam followers, this engine also has a high-lift camshaft. An aluminium radiator has been fitted as have new brakes and tyres. The rear axle ratio is 3.55:1 and fuel is delivered via a Weber carburettor, the original carburettor is supplied with the car. The colour combination is the original according to the Heritage Certificate, the exterior being Nevada Beige and the interior is Cherry Red. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a good collection of invoices, together with two buff logbooks. With the upgrades and enhancements this Austin Healey benefits from it may not appeal to the purists, however if you wanted to buy a 'Frogeye' that has been thoroughly, yet sympathetically worked on and is ready to be enjoyed, then look no further. Often described as a car with a smile on its face, this is a car that is sure put a smile on the face of its new owner.

2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK 320 Transmission: automaticMileage:60035At start of the 1990s, after the introduction of their two-seat, grand-tourer R129 SL and the Mazda MX-5, Mercedes-Benz set out to create a new compact roadster, slotted below the SL. By late 1991, under Bruno Sacco, the first design sketches were drawn up and scale models were built in the first half of 1992. Massively successful in its first year, worldwide sales hit 55,000, over double the entire nine-year production of 190 SLs and between 1996 and 2004, over 311,000 SLKs were sold. The roof design consists of a folding steel hardtop with both halves linked by a mechanism which is locked securely when the roof is closed. At the touch of a button on the centre console, a hydraulic system controls the fully automatic folding process in which the boot lid is also integrated. This very good, 2003 Mercedes-Benz SLK 320 was first used at a Mercedes main dealer, Hughes of Beaconsfield as a demonstration car being purchased by the current lady owner directly from them in December 2004. Powered by a 3.2 litre V6 engine, the SLK 320 delivers impressive performance, producing 215bhp. This engine, paired with a smooth and responsive automatic gearbox, enabled the SLK 320 to accelerate quickly and deliver a dynamic driving experience. This car has only covered 60,000 miles from new and has been regularly serviced, mostly by Mercedes main dealers with the last major service carried out in April of this year at a cost of £1,200. Finished in brilliant silver metallic with Anthracite leather interior, this SLK 320 is supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate which expires in November 2023 and a file containing all the maintenance invoices and the original bill of sale. These small Mercedes represents excellent value for money and are ideal for the summer months with the roof down.

2002 DAX Tojeiro Transmission: manualMileage:14000The hugely charismatic DAX Cobra has remained the undisputed market leader for more than 25 years and has steadily established itself as a much sought after classic sports car in its own right. The car's enduring popularity owes much to DAX's policy of continual product improvement and painstaking attention to detail. A number of engine choices have been used from the small-block Chevrolet V8 to other popular engines including units from the Ford small block and all-aluminium Chevrolet LS ranges with Rover V8 and Jaguar units still proving highly popular with some people. It is no exaggeration to say that these cars amaze all who go out in them; harnessing the power with consummate ease and providing levels of grip, composure and ride comfort that simply have to be experienced to be believed. Even Jonathon Palmer was heard to say, 'Wow, that's just staggering!' when taking the new DAX demonstrator for a few laps around Brands Hatch; great praise indeed from an ex-F1 driver! This 2002 registered Dax presents superbly in blue with cream interior. This is a real powerhouse of a Cobra sporting a 467ci under the bonnet. The growl of this V8 is addictive and the performance needs to be experience to be fully appreciated. We are advised this Dax Tojeiro drives with no known faults and given the modest estimate, is sure to attract attention on auction day. Supplied with a V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate valid until 19th April 2024, this car is simply stunning and would put a smile on anyone's face.

1953 Fiat Topolino Transmission: manualMileage:If they dished out Oscars for cuteness, the adorable Topolino would surely be head of the queue. A masterpiece of minimalist engineering, it was the brainchild of Fiat boss Senator Giovanni Agnelli who, in 1934, envisaged a small mass produced 'people's car' capable of carrying two people in comfort with 50kg (110lbs) of luggage. The task was entrusted to 29 year old Dante Giacosa, an ace engineer who had cut his teeth in Fiat's aeronautical department and was now a fast rising star of the car division (by 1946 he was director of engineering for the whole company). Launched in 1936, the resulting Fiat 500 (quickly dubbed the 'Topolino' or 'Little Mouse') was an instant classic, bristling with space saving ingenuity and engineering subtlety. The coachwork was largely the work of chief stylist, Rudolfo Schaffer, and not only looked gorgeous but also endowed the car with great strength when bolted to Giacosa's chassis. It was powered by a 569cc four-cylinder, side valve, water-cooled engine mounted ahead of the front axle, with the radiator located behind the engine where it doubled as the interior heater. Although it developed a modest 13bhp, it could still reach 55mph and cover 50 miles on a single gallon of petrol. Transmission was via a four-speed gearbox, with independent front suspension, 12 volt electrics and Lockheed hydraulic brakes. Best of all was the roll-top canvas roof which turned it into almost a full convertible. This hugely desirable left hand drive example is presented in a wonderful colour combination and has been in the current vendors collection since 2012. During its current tenure, this Fiat has been used occasionally in the summer months and has always been dry stored during this time. In 2019 this Topolino was the subject of an extensive mechanical overhaul, including a full engine, gearbox and clutch rebuild, and new electrics, at a cost of circa £15,000. As such the vendor reports that this Fiat runs and drives very well indeed. It benefits from the delightful roll-top sunroof which is essential in the summer. A great little crowd pleaser which is practical and fun in town or in the country. Offered without reserve, this charming Topolino is sure to be keenly contested at auction. Guide price £8,000 - £14,000

The Azure intended to both convey a sense of presence and allow for comfortable seating of four adult passengers. Power came from the company's stalwart 6.75 litre, V8 featuring a single intercooled turbocharger. The gearbox was a General Motors sourced four-speed automatic unit with the Azure capable of 0-60mph in an impressive 6.1 seconds. Owing to the limited space at Bentley's Crewe factory, the Azure was designed and manufactured by Pininfarina, significantly adding to the vehicle's production cost. This unique and desirable Azure Symbolic Edition is finished in a special-order Mendip Blue (an Aston Martin colour) in deviation from the black that the other six cars were finished in with magnolia leather hide interior. A milliner commissioned example; this car had a number of non-standard features spanning two pages on the supplied specification details report. Sitting on 18” chrome wheels this example also boasts the T-style console, Burr walnut veneers, the removal of side repeater flashers, flared arches, Bentley wings in the door waist rails and an uprated 420bhp engine boasting 875nm of torque to mention but a few of the non-standard features from new. 1995 Renault Clio Williams 2 Transmission: manualMileage:104107The Renault Clio Williams was launched in 1993 for rally homologation requirements, as a limited edition run of 3,800 cars, all individually numbered and just 390 were destined for UK shores. The original batch was almost twice the amount needed for homologation, but the cars were such a huge success that Renault went on to build a further two iterations, much to the dismay of the buyers of the original batch, but nearly 13,000 cars were produced in total. The Williams was powered by a two-litre 16v engine, producing some 148bhp, which was enough to take the car all the way to a limited 134mph. The Williams is easily identified by its bonnet bulge and muscular wheel arches, as well as gold-painted alloy wheels. Those who have been lucky enough to drive a Williams will know that the engine is spectacular, the handling is too, and the car is a serious contender for being one of the best hot hatches ever produced. This example is a second iteration Williams 2, meaning it is presented in the original Williams shade of Sports Blue, the later Williams 3 cars were a slightly different shade. The car also has the addition of electric windows and mirrors but mechanically the car is exactly the same as the original Williams 1. This car has covered a modest 104,000 miles and presents in excellent order for its age. The values of these cars have increased significantly in the last decade and look to be showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. These cars offer useable power which can be enjoyed at all times yet still offer much lower running costs than their modern counterparts.

In 2002, Bentley updated the Red Label as the series two Arnage R. This model was launched to contrast the Arnage T, which was developed to be a sportier variant. The Arnage R features two Garrett T3 turbochargers fitted to the engine as with the RL. The Vantage was an immediate success with some dealer estimated a three-year waiting list by the time the car was first shown. It would later go on to receive Jeremy Clarkson's 2005 Best Sounding Car of the Year and now considered one of the best-looking cars of all time and become an undisputed modern classic with values rising over the last 12 months.Supplied with just two previous owners and a full Aston Martin main agent and subsequent specialist service history, this desirable example is supplied with Onyx Black coachwork with a matching Obsidian Black leather interior, contrasting white stitching and a black mohair hood. 1998 Porsche 911/996 Carrera 2 Transmission: manualMileage:35813The Porsche 996 is the internal designation for the Porsche 911 model manufactured and sold between 1998 and 2005. On its debut, the 996 featured the most significant changes to the Carrera model since its 1963 introduction, namely the water-cooled engine replacing the previously air-cooled unit. Progressively stringent noise regulations, environmental concerns, a higher expectation for refinement and a high-performance, four-valve per cylinder engine made the switch necessary. Other changes included a sleeker body with a more steeply raked windshield and a re-designed interior.First registered in February 1998, this 3.4 litre Carrera C2 has covered a mere 35,813 miles from new and comes with a full service history, its last major service was only 613 miles ago at 35,200 miles when it had a new radiators, an air-conditioning radiator, new front discs and pads plus a clutch replacement. Supplied new in Guards Red with grey leather interior and with factory fitted options including an Aerokit body and six-speed gearbox. Stored in heated, de-humidified storage for the past few years, the car has just been recommissioned and has just had a new battery installed along with an oil and filter service and a new MoT test certificate valid until May 2024. Indeed, the vendor reports the car to run and drive very well with its 296bhp, 3.4 litre, flat six engine howling as any Porsche flat six engine should.Supplied with a V5C registration document, original handbooks and two sets of keys. Finding one of these first year of production water cooled Carrera's with such low mileage is nigh on impossible and this car represents an opportunity not to be missed.Interested parties should note that contrary to the catalogue description, the Aerokit may not have been factory fitted. There is no code referring to it as an option on the bonnet sticker. However, the stamp on the bottom of the boot lid suggests it was dealer fitted.

The W140 made its public debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 1991 with the first examples rolling off the production line in April 1991 and North American examples on 6th August 1991. Short (SE) and long (SEL) wheelbase saloons were offered initially as well as the coupé (SEC) bodystyle from October 1992. The W140 introduced innovations such as double-pane window glazing, power-assisted closing for doors and boot lid, electric windows which lowered back down upon encountering an obstruction and a heating system which, if desired, continued to emit warm air after the engine was turned off. For details like this, the W140 is often known as the last Mercedes-Benz to be 'over-engineered;' a trait which was costing the company in product delays and over-budgeting.This lovely example of this luxury saloon is presented in Almandine Red with a beige leather interior. The car comes with factory fitted air conditioning, electric sunroof, electric front seats, electric windows front and rear and will come to the auction with a new MoT test certificate. The car has covered a mere average of just over 3,000 miles per year and now presents itself as a great classic Mercedes-Benz, still offering comfortable travel with good performance to match.

1988 BMW 635 CSi Highline Transmission: automaticMileage:33865Successor to the race proven E9 3.0CS/CSi, the BMW 6-Series was introduced in August 1976. More forgiving than its predecessors, it utilised a modified version of the 5-Series saloon platform equipped with all-round independent suspension and powerful disc brakes. A natural rival to the 928 and XJS, the four-seater 6-Series proved more capacious than the Porsche and sportier than the Jaguar. Immediately recognisable thanks to its distinctive 'shark nose' frontal styling and thin pillared glasshouse it boasts real road presence. An impression backed up by the various versions of BMW's mighty M30, SOHC straight-six engine fitted throughout the range. Second only to the BMW Motorsport tuned M6 version, the 635CSi's 3430cc unit developed some 216bhp and 232lbft of torque propelling it from 0-60mph in 8.4 seconds and on to 135mph.One of the best E24 BMWs we have had the pleasure to auction, beautifully finished in Cirrus Blue metallic with a full Highline extended Nappa leather interior, this example of the collectable 635 CSi Highline boasts just one previous husband and wife owner who owned and maintained the car whilst living in Jersey until 2018, they then brought the car to the UK, where we are told the car was always garaged before being sold to its current keeper. Offered with the original bill of sale and complete book pack with three sets of keys. Sitting on correct TRX wheels and the options of 'M Sport' electrically adjustable seats, air conditioning and rear blind. This example appears completely original throughout including original stickers, factory grease on hinges, original unused spare, toolkit and original first aid kit and also shows original clean 'stone chip' visible underneath and in the aches. Presented with a good service history with invoices going back to the 90s as well as recent extensive expenditure including battery tray repair, suspension work, post MoT test certificates and new correct Michelin TRX tyres which are nearly £2,000 alone. We are advised it drives wonderfully, like a five year old car, not a 35 years old one and viewing is highly recommended.

1958 Cadillac Sedan De Ville Transmission: automaticMileage:61700Updated for 1958 with a new grille and quad headlamps, the Cadillac Series Sixty-Two Sedan De Ville was powered by a 365 cu in (6.0 litre) V8 engine allied to three-speed automatic transmission. Overseen by the legendary Harley Earl, everything from the rubber guards on the front bumpers to the chrome caps on the rear wings was styled to the max.Imported from Colorado in 1987, '732 XUR' has had just four UK keepers over the past thirty-four years. Showing 61,700 miles on the odometer, this Cadillac has benefited from an extensive brake overhaul within the last three years including the fitment of new brake shoes, master cylinders, front cylinders, brake servos and hoses. More recently in 2023 a complete new stainless steel exhaust system was fitted as well as new tyres all round. Finished in light green with white and green upholstery, this Sedan de Ville does not want for road presence! A fabulous piece of Americana, the be-finned behemoth features such niceties as power steering, power brakes and automatic transmission. The Series 62 is offered for sale with a large history file comprising the original workshop manual, Colorado State title document, numerous invoices, old MoT test certificates and a recent MoT test certificate valid until May 2024. 1997 Bentley Continental R Transmission: automaticMileage:98000Since 1921, the Bentley name has remained synonymous with prestige, performance and luxury. The 'Continental' designation recalls the Bentley Continental of the post-war period. The 'R' resonates to the R-Type Bentleys from the 1950's as well as the Turbo R of the 1980's. Bentley's 1980's resurgence relied exclusively on models whose basic architecture was shared with other Rolls-Royce products; however, the Bentley Continental R was unique to the Bentley marque. Despite the need to incorporate non-traditional features such as doors recessed into the roof, the result looked every bit a Bentley, albeit one re-stated for the 1990's. Needless to say, the performance was outstanding, the combination of the Turbo R engine in the new wind-cheating shape cutting the 0-60mph time to under six seconds and boosting top speed to in excess of 150mph.This truly immaculate Bentley Continental R is finished in Cobalt Blue metallic paintwork and defies the mileage listed on its odometer, in essence the condition of the car is comparable with a car having covered a third of the 98,000 miles. The interior presents in Silverstone hide with a blue top roll and contrasting dark blue underside, dark blue carpets with unmarked dark blue lambswool over rugs and rear seat cushion, an upgraded Hi-Fi sat nav system and rear parking sensors. The car is also a 1998 year model first registered in 1997 thus benefitting from the later refinements. This is a fine example and a well-cared for motor car with a comprehensive service history, including fully stamped service booklet and owner's manual, and three sets of keys including the chauffeur's key. the car has been maintained by Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialists, Ranmore (formerly Royce engineering) since 2006 and in recent years they have continued their maintenance for our vendor who has owned the car since late 2020. Just five previous keepers have experienced the luxury and power that is derived from the 6.75 litre Bentley power plant and given the condition most must have been in a straight line. This is a car that truly must be seen to be appreciated, very few Continental R's we have offered are in this condition and can boast being such a colourway coupled to the desirability of being a late example of the marque.

1989 Porsche 944 Turbo S Transmission: manualMileage:121000The Porsche 944 was built from 1982 to 1991 and was built on the same platform as the 924. It was intended to last into the 1990's but major revisions planned for a 944 S3 model were eventually rolled into the 968 instead which replaced the 944. The 944 was a successful model and was available as both a coupé and cabriolet in naturally aspirated and turbocharged forms. In mid-1985, the Porsche 944 underwent significant changes. In 1988, Porsche introduced the 944 Turbo S with a more powerful engine 250bhp 258 lb‹…ft of torque at 4,000rpm. This higher output was achieved by using a larger KKK K26-8 turbocharger housing and revised engine mapping which allowed maintaining maximum boost until 5800rpm, compared to the standard 944 Turbo. In June 1988, Car and Driver tested the 944 Turbo S (with the advantage of shorter final drive gear) and achieved a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.5 seconds and a quarter mile time of 13.9 seconds. Top speed was factory rated at 162mph. The post 1985 cars, turbos and S variants are considered more desirable than the earlier cars, having improved interiors, suspensions and engines, together with a limited slip differential and larger brakes.Presented in Glacier Blue with a pinstripe blue velour trim with blue leather, this late 944 turbo S is offered with the extras such as sports M030 sports pack, 'big black' brakes, limited slip differential, electric seats, electric windows, electric heated mirrors, electric sunroof, electric tailgate, upgraded sound system, headlight washers, ABS, power steering. Described as in a very good condition with no rust issues, completely solid and driving beautifully boasting just five former keepers. The car comes with a comprehensive service history and a thick folder of receipts and paperwork, as well as all the original manuals, including original option stickers, a host of MoT test certificates covering the last 30 years, two keys, original Porsche leather folder, original space saver and a set of original tools. Within the history file we can find that some of the recent works include a new head gasket, water pump, rollers, tensioners, belts, new brake lines fitted at Octane Garage. The sills were taken care of before the undercarriage and an anti-corrosion treatment, then a quality full body respray in the original rare Glacier Blue colour was undertaken at CMS Coachworks. At 120,000 miles Koni adjustable shocks were fitted and 1,000 miles later the brakes were reconditioned, turbo pressure release valve replaced as were the fuel pump, cooling fan, sunroof and driver door seals. The most recent service was in January 2023 with an MoT test certificate in January 2023 with no advisories. It is rare to find the desirable late 944 Turbo's in such condition and this UK supplied right hand drive manual sportscar is an 80's treat!

2002 Aston Martin Vanquish Transmission: automaticMileage:42512Launched at the Geneva motor show in 2001 the Aston Martin Vanquish was hailed as "The ultimate Grand Tourer" powered by a DOHC four-valve per cylinder V12 engine producing 460bhp. It could propel the car from 0“60 mph in under five seconds and reach a top speed exceeding 190mph. It was instantly immortalised further by featuring in the 2002 James Bond movie Die Another Day.This Vanquish presents beautifully and has been in the care of our vendor since 2009. The car comes with a raft of invoices and evidence of nine services by a mixture of Aston Martin main agents and specialists. There is a large invoice from 2012 by Aston Martin specialist Desmond J.Smail amounting to £4,469.55 for a service, replacement of various hoses on the cooling system and removing the gearbox for inspection and some minor adjustments to improve the gearchange,  as the gate was found to be too tight between first and second gear, as well as a few other smaller jobs. 1955 Morgan Plus 4 Transmission: manualMileage:40468The 1955 Morgan Plus 4 is a classic British sports car which features a 2.1 litre, four-cylinder engine that delivers around 90 horsepower and a four-speed manual transmission. The Plus 4 was introduced in 1950 and was an evolution of the earlier Morgan 4/4 model. The Plus 4 had a longer wheelbase and a wider track than its predecessor, which made for improved handling and stability. The body of the Plus 4 was made of ash wood framing with aluminium or steel body panels, and the car had a top speed of around 95mph (153km/h). The Plus 4 was also known for its distinctive styling, which featured a rounded front end with a large grille and headlights mounted on the fenders. This very original example is presented in blue with a black interior and has a black hood. It has a rear mounted luggage rack and according to the owner the car runs and drives nicely. Its originality is very endearing, with the interior certainly looking like it's the original including the dash, steering wheel and seats. These are rare sports cars with very few being made, and this is certainly one for the collector or indeed for someone to enjoy as has the present owner over the last 28 years. Today, the Morgan Plus 4 is highly sought-after for its classic styling and driving experience.
