He was blind for the last ten years of his working life and finally sold his stock to the clockmaker Ellis in 1864. Ross supplied the clock to Blundells Old School and there is a watch signed by him in the Royal Albert Museum, Exeter. * Charles Muston is recorded as working at 18, Red Lion Square, Clerkenwell, London from 1825.
