1962 Ford Zodiac MK IIMake: Ford Model: Zodiac MKIIYear: 1962Mileage: 69408VIN: Z61005001Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: UOO170Transmission: manual2,553cc. When this Zodiac was new in 1962, it would have been Ford's top of the range vehicle. A former show car that appears to have been well cared for by it's eight registered owners regardless of cost and more recently has been subject to a full restoration. This included a total repaint, engine rebuild, unleaded head, electronic ignition, new wiring loom and brake pipes, exhaust manifold modified to MK III specification, carb rebuild, radiator re-cored, reconditioned gearbox and new 14" Minilite wheels and tyres. 1963 Morris Minor 1000 ConvertibleMake: Morris Model: Minor Year: 1963Mileage: 45540VIN: MA2SSD1009072Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 7383UNTransmission: manualThe Morris Minor is one of Britain's most-loved classics, and in convertible form, combines practicality and character with the option to throw back the roof and truly enjoy the driving experience on a nice, sunny day. This example, in an attractive combination of white with a red soft-top, is described by the vendor as a 'good driving car' with a 'strong engine', having been driven some distance to ACA. It has a recorded mileage of 45,540 miles, although as there's little paperwork, this isn't warranted. However, looking back over the online MoT history, the mileage in 2006 was 42,461, so this has been a lightly-used vehicle for quite some time. The V5 is present, and the last owner had the vehicle for 12 years. While this Morris looks to have been resprayed quite recently, the hood will need attention as will the two front seats - there's a split in the driver's one and sagging in the passenger one. The car will come with a spare set of keys plus tools, some running spares in the boot, and the bonus of a hefty The Illustrated Encyclopaedia of Classic Cars. The 'UN' numberplate may well appeal to bidders of a more peaceful disposition... PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 12TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

1986 Renault 4 GT LMake: Renault Model: 4 GT L Year: 1986Mileage: 94000VIN: VF1112800G0510563Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: C670RFLTransmission: manual 1,108cc. An original, UK right-hand drive example. This car was purchased new by the vendor's neighbour from Wests Renault of Cambridge. The original owner passed away and her daughter, who lived with her mother, retained the car in her name. Always garaged, there were a few years when it remained unused. It has been subject to some welding over the years and recently new wings were fitted. The vendor, who bought the car from the daughter three years ago, has fitted a new clutch, exhaust and a couple of brake pipes. The car is described as mostly original with virtually no corrosion and the engine and gearbox running like new. The mileage is warranted at 94,000. Comes with current V5 and MoT history. Three owners from new. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 12TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
2008 Marlin 5 2.0 Turbo EXiMake: Marlin Model: 5 EXiYear: 2008Mileage: 57162VIN: T5139CYCYL2H52409Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: K195KNOTransmission: manualAfter being founded in 1979 and building a number of retro-styled roadsters, Devon-based Marlin switched to the more modern-looking mid-engined 5EXi model in 2004. With a glassfibre shell, spaceframe chassis and Rover 200 components, and offering around 200bhp in its most potent form, it was available as a kit or fully-assembled car by the factory. This example features Rover's 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, as found in the 220 Tomcat, (although the V5 records it as a 1.6-litre, so will need amending) and has covered 57,162 miles. The overall condition is good; the blue bodywork does display a few scratches and paint cracks here and there, while the cockpit, with its racing seats plus Rover 200 dashboard and steering wheel, is surviving well. There is no current MoT. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 21ST JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1962 Riley 1.5 Make: Riley Model: 1.5Year: 1962Mileage: 72182VIN: RH522357Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: UDO617Transmission: manualThe Riley 1.5 - or One-Point-Five, as BMC insisted on calling it - was a clever re-invention of the Morris Minor, using its floorpan, suspension and steering, but utilising the larger 1489cc B-Series engine and gearbox as found in the MG Magnette. It shared its styling with the Wolseley 1500, but twin carburettors gave the Riley almost 20bhp more than its luxury sibling, endowing it with 68bhp. This example, in black with nice pale grey leather interior (and nicknamed Lanc, in reference to its numberplate and 'The Dambusters' 617 Squadron), was purchased by the vendor in 2007 and completely rebuilt. All the invoices and receipts for this are included in the history folder, and there are also many more bills since then; in total, they add up to many thousands and are handily itemised across several sheets of paper. Also present are the current and past V5s, a workshop manual, assorted past lists, MoTs back to 1997 and a spare key. The vendor advises us that there is a problem with the ignition switch, but the car does start and run, and the clutch/brake fluid is low and will need bleeding.

Manufactured on the 6th January 1969 and despatched to Appleyard of Leeds Limited. The external colour is listed as Police White, a possible indicator of its early life? It comes with just a current V5. The registration number is UBD 695G.
1966 Renault Gordini Dauphine Make: Renault Model: Gordini Dauphine Year: 1966Mileage: 38856VIN: 22398Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: ONK914DTransmission: manualThe Gordini was the 'performance' version of Renault's chic and distinctive Dauphine. Named after Italian racing driver and sports car manufacturer Amédée Gordini, among its upgrades were a four-speed transmission and an engine tuned to 37bhp by Gordini. Four-wheel disc brakes appeared in 1964. This 1966 example has been owned by the vendor for 25 years. He reports that an extensive restoration was finished two years ago, but the car then had little use due to the pandemic. During the work, the colour was changed from red to its current vibrant green, with the interior remaining its original red and grey. Many NOS (new old stock) panels and parts were fitted during the renovation. Along with the standard Gordini upgrades, this car features a lightweight radiator, electric cooling fan, electric screen washers, manual choke conversion, alternator and chrome internal door handles. The car will come with two sets of keys, original jack and starting handle, and a rare period Gordini cigarette lighter. Current mileage is recorded as 38,856. The documentation folder contains the owner's handbook and service manual.

We have been informed that this car is one of only a few built with the "Rocket 455" version of the earlier optional 425 V8 engine. Described by the vendor as running and driving very well with fully working electric soft-top. UK registration has been applied for but please be advised there is currently a delay at the DVLA and the arrival of the V5 may take several weeks.
1971 Rolls Royce Silver ShadowMake: Rolls Royce Model: Silver Shadow Year: 1971Mileage: 52000VIN: SRH12005Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: XEU91KTransmission: automatic This is very far from your usual Rolls-Royce; after all, how many other Silver Shadows can say they've been raced at Brands Hatch, the Nurburgring and Classic Le Mans? Having been a Category C insurance loss in May 2005, the vehicle was acquired by Practical Performance Car magazine, who took it racing at the Nurburgring after a lot of modifications such as Bilstein shocks and lowered springs. Then, in 2008, the PPC team went even further, adding a 'big' turbocharger and external intercooler to the Rolls, so it could compete on a drag strip. This was followed, in 2010, by a 'live' roof chop at Mallory Park's PPC in the Park event. Since then, the car has been 'neglected for the past few years' according to the vendor. He also reports that it is 'solid' and 'the engine fires up on Easy Start'. However, that it has no brakes - literally - is also noted. This probably isn't the car to compete in Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club concours events, but, with work, it has the potential to be a very unusual track day car, or returned to the road as a Spirit of Ecstasy machine that's very different to the norm. It's certainly one of the more intriguing Shadows around. The paperwork is a little sparse; there's the V5 plus a few 21st century MoTs, with the most recent one dating from June 2014 at 51,699 miles, and a single 2006 bill for brake parts from Rolls-Royce specialist Flying Spares. The odometer reading is 52,000 miles. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 13TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
2005 Renault Megane Sport 225 6,577 miles from newMake: Renault Model: Megane Sport Year: 2005Mileage: 6577VIN: VF1CM0M0633205586Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: HK05YHWTransmission: manualAlthough this example of Renault’s very hot hatch of the mid-Noughties is 16 years old, it’s covered a mere 6577 miles in all that time. The rare pre-facelift model is finished in Steel Grey; only 173 of the three-door Sport 225 models were produced for the UK in this shade. Retained by Renault from new, after three months, it passed into the hands of a private owner, but its use was sparing – despite the undoubted appeal of its 2.0-litre turbocharged engine tuned to produce 225bhp, with a 0-60mph of 6.3 seconds and a top speed of 147mph. While its owner worked overseas, it was carefully stored until recently. Freshly MoT’d (with the certificate expiring in July 2022), the only flaws to this car, described as with a 'stunning, unmarked' interior, 'very good, original underside', 'lovely' engine bay and 'superb' driving experience by the vendor, are some storage marks on the body, including some scratches on the bonnet. It is, otherwise, unmodified and untouched, even down to the original tyres, and dealer number plates and tax disc holder still in place. The history folder includes the original and current V5, HPI certificate and unused spare key. There's also all the original booklets in their Renault-branded binder, such as the additional Megane Sport information supplement, security information, radio manual, owner's handbook, unstamped service book and other miscellaneous documentation supplied when the car was new. 1962 Austin Mini Seven 850cc MKIMake: Austin Model: MiniYear: 1962Mileage: 72330VIN: AA2S7193185Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: 558UKOTransmission: manualOwned by the vendor since 2013, this Mini Seven is described as a very original car extensively refurbed, including an engine rebuild, in the late 1990s and early 2000. It has been well maintained by the subsequent owners and in very good condition. The body and subframes are rust-free and the vendor replaced the door skins in 2019. MoT'd until April 2022, the car is fully roadworthy and ready to drive. The gearbox is described as quiet and all synchros work well. A history file dating back to the 1980s comes with the car. Mileage recorded at 72,330. Nine owners from new. Details to be updated on car's arrival.
1985 Vauxhall Nova 1.2 MeritMake: Vauxhall Model: Nova Year: 1985Mileage: 131123VIN: VSX000093G4013612Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: C924VEFTransmission: manualRegistered in October 1985 as C924 VEF, this Nova 1.2 Merit's MoT expired in May 2021, but it will now require work to complete and return to the road. It has received sporty interior and bodywork modifications during its life, some of which have now been removed. The mileage recorded by the odometer is 131,123. The V5 is present, but there is no other paperwork. We're advised that among the upgrades are: Engine: 1.4-litre SR, with fast-road cams, K&N filter and PowerFlex polyflex front and rear bushes. The exhaust is a Milltek full SS system from the manifold back. Brakes and suspension: Willwood four-piston 288mm front system and Spax front and rear adjustable shocks. Body: Original GSI wings, lights, doors, grill, and front and rear bumpers. The paint is a Glasurit base and top coat in Custom Pearl, a BMW colour. Interior: GSI dashboard, door cards and front and rear seats, with Mk2 GTI digital clocks, MOMO Race steering wheel, electric windows, and Clifford Concept 600 alarm. Wheels: VW forged, repolished.

1968 Jaguar 240 M/ODMake: JaguarModel: 240Year: 1968Mileage: 59027VIN: 1J2836DNConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: OVY10GTransmission: manualAcquired by the vendor in 1988 in running condition, this Jaguar 240 underwent a major restoration during the mid-1990s. The car was stripped, with its engine, gearbox and interior out, and body and chassis repairs carried out. Five wire wheels, with tyres, were fitted (with the wheels themselves coming to £775), and and the engine checked over, with repairs to the gearbox and back axle. New brake pipes were installed while, inside, the dash and door cappings were re-veneered, and the carpets and headlining were replaced. The history folder includes MoTs back to 2009, but going back considerably further, there's the original 1968 green logbook, as well as the operating, maintenance and service handbook, Jaguar service facilities booklet, maintenance chart, service vouchers and other documentation given when the car was brand new, all still in their Jaguar-branded plastic folder. There are a great many bills and receipts dating back to the 1990s, all testifying to a car that has been well-looked after during the last few decades. A lot of these have been handily itemised on a couple of handwritten sheets by one of the owners. For those happy to get their hands dirty, there's a hefty genuine Jaguar workshop manual as well. The car's condition remains very good inside and out. The current odometer reading is 59,027 miles. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 20TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

It has had little use since and the vendor has decided to sell on due to the car remaining unused for the last five years. It has been subject to recent recommissioning when it was newly MoT'd. This included engine oil, coolant, new 12v battery, electronic ignition, brake and clutch fluid changed and new rear brake cylinders. Comes with current V5, MoT history, a few receipts and spare keys. The mileage is recorded at 91,200. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 24TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

Finished in black with brown carpets and seating, the vendor describes the engine as 'like a Swiss watch' and the car, with its three-speed gearbox, as 'starting on the button and driving very well, an ideal show car'. Current mileage is recorded as 37,000 miles although this isn't warranted. The history folder includes the V5, a copy of the Ford Sidevalve Owners' Club magazine, a selection of MoTs as far back as 1984, an insurance valuation certificate from 2010 for £5000, two sets of keys, and a Cassell Prefect owner's book. Some bodywork was then done on the sills, jacking points, chassis and paint, after which the Jaguar returned to the road. It continued to be used until 2003, when it was garaged again and SORNed. The vendor tells us that the engine and transmission are original, as are most of the fittings. Comes with the original tool kit. Included in the history folder are the V5, and a selection of MoTs from dating back to 1983. The mileage is recorded as 35,129, but at some point, the speedometer was changed, according to the vendor. The 1983 MoT certificate states the mileage as 90,372, while in 1995 it was 34,063, presumably after the gauge had been swapped. Aside from a couple of bills from 2007, most of the invoices are from 2021 for miscellaneous small parts, as well as a radiator cowl and screenwash bottle. 1994 Mercedes-Benz W124 E220 Convertible AutoMake: Mercedes Model: E220 Convertible Year: 1994Mileage: 90955VIN: WDB1240622C065670Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L312ULGTransmission: AutomaticThis 1994 W124 E220 convertible has been a project car for eight years. During that time, it's had Brembo brakes fitted, along with vented discs. Parking sensors have also been added and a new dark blue hood installed, along with Xenon headlamps and two-piece alloy wheels. Under the bonnet, the 2199cc engine has had its cylinder head skimmed, valves polished, and new stem seals and gaskets fitted. In the opinion of the vendor, all that is needed now to make a 'fine car' is the interior upgrading. The odometer shows 90,955 miles, although this is unwarranted. Because the car has been off the road while being modified, its last MoT expired in December 2013. Please note that the roof is currently inoperative. 1966 Mercedes Benz 220 SE Auto Cabriolet Make: Mercedes Model: 220 SE Year: 1966Mileage: 30587VIN: 11102322079111Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: FUN484DTransmission: automatic Nicknamed Gloria, this 1966 Mercedes-Benz 220 SE Cabriolet was acquired by the vendor in 2000, from a family cousin who owned it from 1981. Prior to that, it's believed that the car was purchased new for use by the chairman of ICI. The present owner has used the car for trips abroad including France and Malta. And it was in Malta, during the early part of the 21st century, that it was restored according to the history file; a task not without incident, as the gearbox parts were stolen en route from Scotland to Malta, and the subsequent delay to the rebuild resulted in Malta customs authorities threatening to impound the car. There's an eye-watering amount of paperwork (albeit only dating back to the 1990s), showing lots of care and attention for even minor issues, and a great deal of expenditure. Some of the more recent jobs involved an engine tune-up in May of this year, rectification of a hot indicator stalk, and new padding for the driver's seat. The selection of MoTs (and other paperwork) suggest the current indicated mileage of 130,587 is genuine. The last MoT expired in April 2019; the car was at 127,710 miles when that test was undertaken. The files also contain the original owner's manual, relevant magazine articles, parts lists and diagrams, old tax discs and photos taken throughout the car's life. The Mercedes-Benz is now in need of some work, with bubbling apparent on both headlamp peaks, the rear quarters, and around the rear wheel arches, most significantly the nearside one. See our pictures for more detail. Inside, there's sun damage to the top of the wooden dash - a common issue with these cars - plus wear to the black leather seats. 1959 Fairthorpe Electron MinorMake: Fairthorpe Model: Electron Minor Year: 1959Mileage: 34904VIN: 10173Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: PPM675Transmission: manualFounded by Australian aviation pioneer and bomber pilot Air Vice Marshall Donald Bennett, Fairthorpe built small sports cars from 1954 to 1973. In 1956, it launched the open two-seater Electron, using a 1098cc overhead-cam Coventry Climax engine. This was followed by the cheaper Electron Minor in 1957, which used the less potent engine, transmission and rear axle from the Standard Ten. With various upgrades over the years, the Electron Minor remained the mainstay of Fairthorpe production until 1973, with about 700 being built. In 1990, this 1959 example was found as a wreck (with some racing modifications), and the owner who took it on had it restored in 1991 and again in 2016. After both rebuilds, it was exhibited at the Classic Motorshow in Birmingham. The history folder includes the current V5 plus the original green logbook, a £3750 bill for the 2015 rebuild plus a number of invoices for more recent parts and work and an extensive collection of Fairthorpe Sports Car Club magazines (including one with PPM 675 on its cover). There's also a small Fairthorpe Electron Minor brochure and an album of photos, showing what we assume is the car's 1991 restoration. The Fairthorpe is good order outside and in, with modern (and more comfortable seats) fitted as well as a radio/CD player. There's also a small collection of rally plaques and rosettes from shows and events previously attended by the Electron Minor. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 6TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1974 Fiat 128 1300 Coupe SLMake: Fiat Model: 128Year: 1974Mileage: 60542VIN: 180243Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: GDV614NTransmission: manualBased on the boxy Fiat 128 saloon but with more stylish, fastback styling, the 128 Coupe Sport offered sporty performance in a diminutive but practical package. Survivors are rare these days, with this one believed to be the only right-hand drive 1300 SL in the UK. In oh-so-Seventies Positano Yellow, with black interior and 74bhp 1290cc engine, this Fiat has had five registered keepers. The fourth acquired the car in 1989, but after some engine problems, it was garaged in 1992 and didn't re-emerge until 2009. After an engine rebuild, it was treated to a full body restoration, which was completed in April 2011, with the owner at the time stating that 'it was restored with a view to originality while keeping some of the patina'. A full account of what was done is in the history file, along with a selection of photos. Also in the history folder are the V5, owner's handbook, brochures, magazines, spare keys, show memorabilia and an extensive amount of invoices dating back to 2010, chronicling thousands spent over the past decade or so. There are also two copies of the useful but now unintentionally funny Fiat book of Safe Motoring Hints, with such pearls as not being insulted if a car 'of a class inferior to your own' passes you and how 'use of the horn and lights is not an insurance policy against accidents'. Along with a set of spare keys, there are also a 'loads of spare parts to go with the car'. The exterior of the 128 Coupe is in excellent condition, while the interior has been left more untouched. Nevertheless, aside from a small bit of dash damage in one corner, it's also in very good order. The car runs and drives very well, with a nice rorty note from the exhaust to remind you that you're in something Italian and a bit racy. 2007 Saab 9-3 Aero V6 S-A Estate 4,175 miles from newMake: Saab Model: 9-3 Aero Year: 2007Mileage: 4175VIN: YS3FH51U261123893Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: KT56KFXTransmission: Automatic First registered on the 31st January 2007. Remarkably for a 14-year old vehicle, this blue 9-3 Aero estate, with 2790cc turbocharged V6 petrol engine, has covered less than 4200 miles from new. Its original owner was Saab but after six months, it passed into private hands. However, it was still used very sparingly, with a period in storage from 2013 to June 2021 while its owner was overseas, after which it was freshly MoT’d at 4165 miles. The car is totally unmodified and untouched, even down to being on its original tyres. The blue paintwork is excellent, while the vendor describes the pale grey leather interior as ‘immaculate’ and 'unmarked', and the driving experience is 'like a new car'. The underside of the car is similarly in great order. The documentation folder includes the original and current V5, original booklets in their supplying dealer binder, HPI certificate, service invoice, and past and current MoTs (with the current ticket expiring in June of next year). There's also the spare key. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 21ST JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1973 Triumph Stag 3.0 Auto Make: Triumph Model: StagYear: 1973Mileage: 26286VIN: LD24151BWConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: NKH686MTransmission: automatic With just 26,286 miles showing, this Triumph Stag has been used sparingly by its 13 owners, including its most recent custodian, who has had it for seven years. Ten of its 44 years were spent in storage. He reports it as 'running and driving well, with a responsive gearbox'. The paperwork file includes some past MoT certificates (with the current one expiring in August 2022) plus bills dating back to the 1980s. These show what appears to be a replacement reconditioned engine in 1990 and body restoration work around the same time, when the colour was changed from red to the current Heritage White. There are also references on a sheet of paper to a reconditioned automatic transmission and differential, new Mohair hood, large core radiator, steering rack electronic ignition and electronic water pump being fitted as well, although the exact dates for these are unclear. An aftermarket service record booklet (albeit with two stamps ? 25,578 miles in 2013 and 25,590 miles in 2014) and a modern facsimile of the owner's handbook are also in the file. The Stag's interior and exterior condition is generally good, although the vendor reports that the hood zip needs replacing, and it does have a few small holes on its left-hand side.
1973 Triumph TR6 PiMake: Triumph Model: TR6 PiYear: 1973Mileage: 15428VIN: CR20640Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: OUG88LTransmission: manual2,498cc. An original, matching numbers, UK right-hand drive car registered on the 15th June 1973 as OUG 88L. Finished in its original Mimosa yellow with contrasting black vynide trim, this car has had just three registered owners from new. It was totally rebuilt between 2012 and 2014 by well respected TR Specialists, TR Enterprises, when it was subject to a body-off chassis restoration. Described as remaining in excellent overall condition. Nicely detailed under the bonnet, the car still has the original engine fitted and benefits from a Bosch fuel pump conversion. The car runs and drives really well with overdrive on 3rd and 4th gears. The history file contains a quantity of receipts dating between 1983 and 2016, various tax discs from the 1980's, 1990 and recent, MoTs dating from 1979 to 1988 plus recent to the last one issued in 2017, 2015 bill of sale and spare keys. 1974 Mercedes R107 350 SL Fitted with 3.0 dieselMake: MercedesModel: 350 SLYear: 1974Mileage: 136300VIN: 10704322011671Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: JIW6336Transmission: manualThis is a Mercedes-Benz R107 SL with a difference. While it started life in 1974 as a 350SL, it was fitted with an OM617 3.0-litre five-cylinder diesel engine and five-speed manual transmission from a contemporary W123 saloon some years ago, with the conversion being carried out by Ken Dalton of 'Kensbenz' fame. These motors are regarded as among the most reliable ever constructed, with over 600,000 miles between rebuilds quite common. The odometer reads 136,300 miles on this car, although that is not warranted and, presumably, includes the days when it had its original petrol engine. Recent work undertaken includes a re-cored radiator, replacement rear brake calipers and discs, and new front subframe mountings and anti-roll bar bushes. The vendor describes the car as 'generally presentable, although it could be improved. It also has a small dent to the nearside rear wing', He also reports the interior as 'pretty good, but has some wear to the driver's door card' while the soft-top is 'fully-functional, however, as it is original to the car, it is in need of refurbishment'. The SL will come with its existing numberplate. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 29TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1972 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Big Block 454 ci (C3) LHDMake: Chevrolet Model: Corvette Year: 1972Mileage: 67245VIN: 1Z37W2S503615Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: LYX330KTransmission: automatic This flamboyant bright Sunflower Yellow Corvette hails from the final year that chrome bumpers were fitted front and rear on C3 models, making it one of the more desirable of the 1968 to 1982 third generation breed. In addition, this example also boasts the biggest 7440cc (454ci) V8 engine available for Corvettes of its year. The car came to the UK when new, being registered here in June 1972, and had a brief brush with celebrity when it was featured in in the June 1976 issue of Motor Sport magazine - a copy of which is included with the paperwork. Maintained by specialist garages throughout its life, including the well-known and reputable Claremont Corvette, by 2007 the Corvette had only covered 64,545 miles. It was at that point that the current owner acquired it; his custodianship has seen less than 3000 miles covered over 14 years, bringing the present mileage up to 67,245. This is warranted by the large quantity of maintenance and service invoices stretching back to the 1970s, including 38 MoT certificates, 30 tax discs, and around £15,000 in bills since 2007. The well-presented interior is the original saddle leather in a very rich shade of brown, with little wear apparent, and the car is fitted with automatic transmission, power steering, adjustable steering column, electric windows and removeable roof panels. Fast forward 31 years, and the car went into storage in 2009, emerging only for a couple of MoTs in 2010 and 2011 before staying off the roads completely until this year. From its 2009 MoT until now, the car has only covered around 700 miles, with the current recorded mileage 87,037. Recommissioning of the Stag cost around £4000 and was done by Stag specialist E J Ward. The work included a reconditioned gearbox, new alternator, battery, radiator, electronic ignition, distributor cap, plug leads, fuel filter and drive belts. It was also serviced and given an MoT, which expires in July 2022. The Stag was fully restored in 1999, with the job including new front wings, rear wheel arches, sills, A-post drip rails, bare metal respray, overhauled cylinder heads and carburettors, plus soft-top frame and new cover. Despite its rebuild being over 20 years ago, the car's conditions remains generally very good, with the vendor advising us that it 'drives very well with a lovely sounding engine'. Inside, the dashboard has been upgraded with burr walnut veneer. There is a huge history file that accompanies the car, starting with its original bill of sale and including MoTs back to 1992. The V5 is present.
1979 Citroen GS Pallas Make: CitroenModel: Gs Pallas Year: 1979Mileage: 0VIN: 70gb3554Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: FKN699VTransmission: manualThe Pallas designation represented Citroen's luxury trim level, adding more brightwork, thicker carpeting, and higher-spec upholstery to what was already one of the more intriguing small family cars available during the 1970s. The type bristled with innovation, including an idiosyncratic control layout, disc brakes all around, flat-four air-cooled engine and, naturally, Citroen's trademark hydropneumatic suspension. The paperwork folder for this 1222cc example, in white with brown interior, includes the V5 and MoTs back to 1985, when the current (second) owner acquired the car. These confirm the low mileage of just 24,330, a total helped by the car being stored since 1999. While the car is in good overall condition inside and out, this 12-year period of storage means it will require some recommissioning. A selection of spares are included in the sale, as is a set of spare keys.

It came with a full black leather interior as standard, and no cost optional wooden steering wheel and gearknob, plus CD autochanger. Only available in limited numbers for the United Kingdom - just 398 were constructed - they were finished in Metallic Pinewood Green with Anthracite Speedline alloy wheels with a polished metal lip on the outer rims of these. The badging depicted the Goodwood racing circuit on the front wings, tailgate and steering wheel boss. All these features are present and correct on this example, which has been the subject of a recent restoration and is thus in excellent condition. The work included a full repaint, wheel refurbishment, full service, new timing belt, brake discs, pads and rear caliper, and much more. In the history folder, you'll find the V5, MoTs dating back to 1996, which confirm the current 132,511 miles recorded on the odometer as genuine. 1967 Vanden Plas Princess 4-Litre RMake: Vanden Model: Plas Princess Year: 1967Mileage: 0VIN: VRS36863MConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: HEB200FTransmission: automatic We have been advised by the vendor that this three-owner car remained with the same family from when it was two years old until very recently - being passed from father to son. It was serviced and MoT'd annually until 2020 when the last certificate was issued and has had very minimal use over the years. The mileage is warranted at 103,610. It comes with all MoTs dating from 1992 (when mileage was 85,739) to 2020 and service and maintenance receipts dating from 2005 until 2019. According to the paperwork, the Rolls-Royce-derived B60 3909cc engine was rebuilt in 2015 - to rectify some broken piston rings - at 103,300 miles, with the cost of the work coming to £3577.32. While there's no documentation detailing a restoration, the car's very good all-round condition, with minimal wear to the beige leather interior (in which even the original transistor radio works), suggests that some renovation work has been carried out over the years. When this might have been is unclear, but this luxurious and prestigious BMC flagship remains very well-preserved. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 26TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

The Esarco was developed by Major Michael Somerton-Rayner as a private initiative in response to lessons learned by the British Army during the 1982 Falklands conflict for the need for lightweight high mobility load carriage. Initially produced as an 8x8 model using simple construction, the design utilised off the shelf Land Rover components to produce a range of high mobility vehicles. This example, a 6x6 version, was essentially a smaller and lighter derivative. Fitted with a Rover V8 engine, it does start and drive in gear but it is thought the clutch hydraulics require attention. Will require some recommissioning work before use. Registered with the DVLA in 1995 as an Agricultural Machine. Two registered owners, the last recorded since 2002. Mileage recorded at 51,918.
1988 Volvo 740 GLE Auto EstateMake: Volvo Model: 740 GLE Estate Year: 1988Mileage: 169822VIN: YV1745845K2183765Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: F587TFRTransmission: automatic Big rear-wheel drive Volvos have an enviable reputation for both reliability and longevity. This 1988 example is a GLE, denoting one of the more more luxurious and better-equipped variants, and so comes with black leather interior to complement its metallic blue exterior. Fitted with the 2.3-litre ‘Red Block’ engine - a non-interference unit with its origins stretching back to the tough old 240 of the 1970s - this example comes with working heated front seats and original dealer-supplied hard tray mats and rigid boot liner. The vendor tells us that the front fog lights are new, and all electric windows are working, as are the sunroof (albeit with a broken deflector hinge that needs to be pressed down manually before closing) and the petrol and temperature gauge (a common fault on 740s). The MoT runs until October 2021; when tested, the car’s mileage was 169,651, it’s now 169,822. There is a partial history in the service book (up to 159,705 miles, albeit with a gap from 81,087 miles to 146,494 miles; earlier services are by a main Volvo dealer, the last three non-Volvo) which is present in the original dealer pack with other paperwork such as the owner’s handbook and radio instructions (with code). The 1980s’ factory radio is still in the car; other original features include the bright alloy wheels and mud guards. According to the vendor, both the ‘interior and exterior are commensurate with age and mileage, and the car does not smell of cigarettes or dogs. The leather is of average condition, with the rear seats better than the front. There are minor scratches and stonechips on the exterior, and the paint looks original apart from the nearside rear wheel arch. The only rust is a small amount on the bottom of the rear wheel arches, while the sunroof has a small blister on its paint (but this is aluminium).’ He also reports that the ignition key requires a ‘certain knack to remove it - you need to slightly pull it out as you turn the engine off to remove the key, otherwise it’s a bit of brute force’. He believes that a previous key breaking off in the lock may have caused this issue. It also appears that the headline has been replaced at some point, although the new one still has some faults. The car comes with its V5 and some current and past MoTs, plus a set of spare keys. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 18TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.

Despite this, it still seems pretty sound and looks very tidy but is currently not running and will require some recommissioning. The vendor has mislaid the immobiliser fob, so some electrical work may also be required. Although it is a MK II model, it has previously been fitted with a MK III engine and was restored around 1990. Five owners from new, the vendor since 1993. It comes complete with many MoTs up to 1999 when last issued, all receipts dating from the vendor's ownership and restoration photos. The mileage is recorded at 103,065.
1973 VW Super Beetle Cabriolet LHDMake: Volkswagen Model: Beetle Year: 1973Mileage: 66793VIN: 1532910529Configuration: Left Hand DriveRegistration: DBY51MTransmission: manualTempting as it is to believe that Volkswagen Beetles remained the same throughout the model's very long life, VW continuously improved the cars - just not so that it was necessarily that noticeable from the outside. The 1303 Super was arguably the high point of the Type 1's development, with McPherson strut front suspension, a larger, panoramic windscreen, chunky 'elephant foot' tail-lamps and a modernised, more safety-conscious dashboard. They also sported a more powerful 1584cc engine. It is believed this left-hand drive example, manufactured in June 1973, originally went to the United States, although there's no paperwork confirming this. At that point it was black. It came to the UK in 1983. Within the few years, it has received a considerable amount of work, to transform it into the stylish blue and white convertible it is now. The smart black and white 14in alloy wheels were refurbished in 2015 at a cost of £422. During 2017 and 2018, the Beetle was extensively rebuilt at a cost of several thousands when, presumably, it was given its current metallic blue and white two-tone colour scheme. The bills from this period include a 1641cc engine upgrade (£1300), Weber dual carburettor kit (£499), gearbox rebuild, alternator upgrade, front disc brake upgrade, new steering box, fresh carpets and trim (£530) and re-upholstered seats. Still comparatively fresh from such a lot of work, the Beetle is in very good condition inside and out.

While it’s the turbocharged versions of the Saab 900 that steal much of the limelight, the less performance-orientated models are still very highly regarded by enthusiasts for their distinctive Swedish qualities of reliability, durability and quirkiness. This 900i - with the letter suffix denoting the fuel-injected but normally-aspirated 1985cc engine of 116bhp - was registered in September 1990, and is one of the rarer two-door saloon variants, finished in smart Ambassador Blue with grey velour interior. The car was supplied by Sabers of Norwich, with one of the dealership’s service and parts stickers still present under the bonnet as a nice period touch. Both the exterior and interior are in very good condition, with the vendor, a former Saab technician, telling us that the car has been well-cared for and is always garaged. He also reports that ‘everything appears to be in working order’. Three former keepers are shown. In summary, this is a well-preserved and usable example of one of Saab’s most enduring classics. An aftermarket service booklet shows a major service at 134,657 miles in October 2020 and an interim service at 135,701 in February 2021 by marque specialist Griffin Automotive. The current mileage is recorded as 135,768 miles, while the MoT is valid until the end of July 2022, with no advisories shown. The car comes with its current V5, Saab service programme check-sheet, MoTs dating back to 2007 (when the mileage was shown as 120,078), a couple of 1990s’ copies of Saab Driver magazine, 1988 and 1991 editions of the owner’s manual, and the spare key. Oh, and there’s the bonus of a Saab umbrella in the boot as well.
1972 Jaguar E-Type SIII 5.3 V12 Manual CoupeMake: JaguarModel: E-Type Year: 1972Mileage: 0VIN: UD1S74017BWConfiguration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: JSL722L Transmission: manual Like so many Jaguar E-types, this V12 coupe headed over the Atlantic after it was built in 1972, to be sold as a new car in the United States. And, again like so many British sports cars, it eventually returned back to the UK, coming back to these shores in April 1996. One of the previous owners records in the paperwork that 'by that time, it was right-hand drive, manual, and finished in British Racing Green with Magnolia interior', having started life as a silver automatic with black interior. However, the date of the change to RHD and manual gearbox can't be confirmed from the paperwork. In 1998, it was stripped down and bodily restored, along with an engine rebuild, at which point the speedometer was zeroed. By its MoT of September 2001, it was recorded as having covered just 137 miles. In the paperwork file is the V5 and copies of previous V5s, a Jaguar Daimler Heritage Trust certificate - showing the car began life as a silver Series III automatic with black interior - and bills from the late 1990s onwards. These show the fitment of polyurethane front bushing during 2006, and another complete engine rebuild with new parts plus gearbox work in 2008 at a cost of close to £10,000 (at 6110 miles). There are also assorted pictures and MoTs dating back to 2001, along with sundry paperwork and a spare set of keys. Most useful to any new owner is a printed email from a previous owner detailing all the work done on the Jaguar from 1996 through to 2015, when the recorded mileage was 9940. The odometer currently reads 13,058. The E-type is in very good overall condition, with just some minor age-related wear to the cream leather interior, which would presumably have been re-done during the car's US days. More modern FIRE engines had been adopted in the mid-1980s, fuel injection arrived at the start of the 1990s, and with the introduction of the new, better-equipped CLX model, there was a five-speed gearbox as well. This 1993 model has both fuel injection and the five-speed 'box with its 999cc FIRE engine. The vendor advises us that the car has recently had new tyres, battery, exhaust, left-hand headlight and coolant expansion tank, and is MoT'd until December 2021. He also reports that a new bonnet cable is required (although the bonnet can still be opened by one person, by pulling its catch and simultaneously pulling the bonnet up on one side) and the rear wiper needs attention. Both the hatchback door and and the bonnet exhibit some crumpling and denting. The odometer records 85,846 miles although, with no paperwork beyond the V5 and current MoT certificate, this is unwarranted.

It paid homage to Rover's links with British Racing Motors, the Formula One team of the 1950s to the 1970s, and was based on the range-topping Vi model with the 143bhp 1.8-litre VVC K-Series engine. Among the limited edition touches were red quilted leather seats and door panels, red carpet, seat belts and steering wheel, along with alloy heater controls and turned aluminium trim elsewhere. Brooklands Green paint was used for the exterior, with silver trim details, 16in alloys, and a woven mesh grille above a BRM trademark large orange snout. The price was £18,000, with only 795 built for the UK, plus an additional 350 for overseas markets. This car's first owner had it from 1999 to 2000, with its second custodian holding onto it from 2000 through to early 2021. The vendor acquired it at the start of 2021, and reports that in excess of £1600 was spent in April, replacing the head gasket (with a multi-layer item), timing belt and water pump, with fresh brake pads and calipers also fitted all around. The paperwork includes the current V5 (and a copy of an old one), invoice for the work carried out in April, and a current MoT certificate valid to April 2022. There's also a spare set of keys with remote control, and the locking wheelnut key. The indicated odometer reading is 30,400 miles, which appears to be backed up by the available online MoT history - in 2006, the mileage was 16,952.
1947 Jowett Bradford Pick-Up Model CA Make: JowettModel: BradfordYear: 1947Mileage: 61892VIN: D7CA3708Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: NXS266Transmission: manualThis diminutive but very able Jowett Bradford started its working life with Derby Corporation's cleansing and transport department in 1947, when it was registered RC 9710 - a number kept by the previous owner for sentimental reasons. Fast forward some years, and the 946cc twin-cylinder sidevalve-engined vehicle was rebuilt in 1992, receiving attention to the chassis, body and engine at the cost of a not unsubstantial (then) £880.24. In 2004, it went into storage in a shed, emerging only recently. The Jowett is still well-preserved, considering it was restored 30 years ago, although there's some lifting of paint noticeable on the cab body, along with other age marks. Its original brass identification plaque is still in place, showing engine and body numbers. A further brass plaque records an engine overhaul from a garage in Norwich. The odometer reads 61,892 miles, but this is unwarranted. Please note that the current registration number, NXS 266, was put on in 2020 and is non-transferrable. The vehicle will be sold with assorted spares and a history folder that includes the old RF60 logbook, new V5, data sheets, MoTs from 1992, 1995, 1999 and 2002, plus old books and magazines stretching to the 1940s, such as a Pitman's Motorists' Library handbook and three-shilling list of spare parts, dating from 1949. There's also a packed file of Jowett Car Club literature, plus photos of the pick-up both pre- and post-restoration. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 29TH JULY BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1986 Porsche 924 S AutoMake: Porsche Model: 924 SYear: 1986Mileage: 60490VIN: WP0ZZZ92ZGN403282Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: D222TWETransmission: AutomaticThe Porsche 924 S was created when Volkswagen stopped manufacturing the engine blocks for the 2.0-litre 924. To replace the VW unit, a detuned unit of the 944's 2.5-litre straight-four engine was utilised instead, along with an upgraded suspension and 944 style brakes. This metallic grey 1986 example, with half-leather black interior, has had 10 former owners from new, with a history folder that includes the V5C as well as MoTs going back to 2003, the original owner's handbook, a Haynes workshop manual and old tax discs. The current MoT is valid until November 2021. Although the odometer reading is 60,490 miles, the vendor reports that there was a documented speedo change in 2003, so the actual total is 105,000 miles. He also tells us that the cambelt was recently replaced. Overall condition is good throughout, although the exterior paintwork does display some scratches. 1994 Audi Coupe 2.6E Make: Audi Model: CoupeYear: 1994Mileage: 168000VIN: WAUZZZ8BZRA004132Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: L572KRPTransmission: manualPurchased in December 2013, the vendor used this Audi as a daily driver while working in Germany. The car proved to be 100% reliable and covered over 10,000 miles before returning to the UK when it was used for holidays and weekends away. A low oil pressure issue just before lockdown, caused the car to require inspection and eventually a replacement engine had to be fitted. While the engine was being replaced, the engine bay was resprayed and cleaned, new shock absorbers were fitted and the brakes overhauled. New radiator, water pump, thermostat and hydraulic tappets were fitted as well as the cambelt and all other service items. The car was subject to a respray although the roof needs to be completed and the paint for this comes with the car, new lower trims were also fitted. Having just completed a 1,200 mile round trip to Wales, it is described as driving very well, making a good GT car for touring. This coupe which was originally an Audi HQ car and is well known within the owners club. Comes complete with some stamped service from 1995 to 2000 and four hand-written entries from 2001 to 2005, MoT history, handbooks and wallet. The mileage is recorded at 168,000. 1985 Jaguar XJ-SC 3.6 M/ODMake: Jaguar Model: XJS-CYear: 1985Mileage: 96844VIN: SAJJNCC7CC125144Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: C982TGMTransmission: manualWhen the Jaguar XJ-S was launched in 1975, there was no convertible version because it was believed, erroneously, that open-top cars were going to be outlawed by American safety legislation. When it became clear that there still was a future for al fresco motoring in the marque's biggest marketplace, Jaguar introduced the XJ-SC during 1983. This wasn't a full convertible, but rather a Targa-roofed variant with a removable soft-top at the rear. It lasted until 1988 when it was replaced by a full convertible model. Thus, the XJ-SC is quite a rare XJ-S variant now. This Claret six-cylinder example, with 3590cc AJ6 engine and manual gearbox, has had nine previous keepers, and is MoT'd until July 2022. The V5 is present in the history file, which also comes with a large stack of service and maintenance bills stretching back to the late 1980s, MoTs dating back to 1988 - thus confirming the recorded mileage of 96,844 - and a 2006 copy of Jaguar Enthusiast magazine. The original Jaguar document folder is also included, containing the electrical data chart, list of dealerships, Jaguar guarantee, owner's handbooks, service booklet stamped up to 86,492 miles in 2002 and even a customer care questionnaire for the supplying Julians of Reading dealership. There are spare keys as well. Overall condition of this XJ-SC is very good, albeit with a few marks on the nearside rear wheel arch. Both the cabin wood and beige leather are holding up well, and the hood is in good order. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR VIDEO PRODUCED 20TH AUGUST BY ACA OF THIS CAR.
1984 Austin Mini 25 RWDMake: Austin Model: Mini 25Year: 0Mileage: 0VIN: SAXXL2S1R20239336Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: B334MADTransmission: manualThis Mini was converted to RWD several years ago. At that time it was running a Ford Kent 1300/1600 engine and automatic gearbox which are no longer present. It is being sold as a project and would be suitable as a potential hill climb or sprint/track car. The vendor advises that it's number plate, B334 MAD, is very appropriate and will be great fun when completed. It is described as solid. Comes only with current V5 and spare keys.
1978 Vauxhall VX 2300 EstateMake: Vauxhall Model: VX 2300 EstateYear: 1978Mileage: 83372VIN: 9L35NHY136761Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: AEV974STransmission: manualFinished in yellow - although the registration document still lists its original colour of blue - this 1978 estate, with two former keepers, hails from the final days of the Vauxhall VX series (as the Victor FE range had been rechristened in 1976). Fitted with the 2279cc four-cylinder engine, this car's last MoT was in 2018 at 83,365 miles. It now shows 83,372 miles on its odometer. The V5 is present, although there is little other paperwork. There is some corrosion to be found on the body - such as the roof, around the rear wheel arches and the bottom of the driver's door - but the grey velour interior, with its fake wood trim, should respond well to a valet.
