Property of a Gloucestershire gentleman. [3, No Reserve] Fine condition.

A mixed group of monochrome photographs and prints of old fairground roundabouts with accompanying caption cards comprising: a large roundabout with caption Alfred Whitelegg - 3 Abreast - Savages - Ex Whittles - 1932; a smaller photograph with caption 'The old famous fairground roundabouts built by Savages' - 3-abreast - purchased by Billy Manning - 1930s - many good years of travel - worked by steam - centre musical organ - now sold to America - 1960'; a printed polychrome card image of a steam engine with caption 'Fowler's Showman's Road Locomotive Supreme - Mrs. Deakin's - finest engine ever built - Feb.1934 - last showman's engine built - war work in Glasgow docks - restored to glory by Mr. Jack Wharton - Oxfordshire - for 12 years - still on many shows - thousands of admirers'; a printed polychrome card image of a steam engine with captoiion 'The famous Burrell Showman's Steam Engine - many years of hard work - built around 1920s - converted by different owners'. 61 grams total, images: 20 x 11cm - 25 x 17cm (8 x 4 1/4 - 9 3/4 x 6 3/4"). A Shand Mason & Co copper and brass fire engine lamp with clear glass lens to the front and red tinted glass to the back, with maker's plaque to the top, burner and reservoir with maker's plaque "VO Company Cart Lamp for Burning Baclite", with loop handle, height 36cm. CONDITION REPORT: Glass intact. General wear to raised parts. Slight rubbing to oval plaque.
A yellow metal propelling pencil with overall engine turned decoration with cast set with hardstone crested with a lion above crown to the terminal, length 10cm , a further yellow metal mounted propelling pencil engraved "GAB" (af) and a yellow metal travelling dip pen, with detachable cap containing a propelling pencil, a hallmarked silver matchbook case with tortoiseshell lid, Birmingham 1923 and a Victorian cast iron tobacco jar modelled as Ally Sloper's head (5).
A Parker rolled gold pen with engine turned decoration, two further Parker pens, two fountain pens with Parker rolled gold lids, and a Sheaffer fountain pen and pencil set (7). CONDITION REPORT: Two of the fountain pens don't seem to have Parker bodies, one of them has a broken finial. Traces of old elastic band and general wear commensurate with age.
Two George VI hallmarked silver napkin rings comprising a circular example with engine turned decoration, James Swann & Son, Birmingham 1944 and a plain example by H Hunt, Sheffield 1943, with two further silver napkin rings with bright cut decoration, a sterling silver snap bangle and a Mexican silver miniature of a sombrero, approx 2.4ozt (6).
