A 1982 Lancia Montecarlo S2 coupé, registration number MGH 4Y, ***chassis number 137AS0005884 (not 137A50005884)***, engine number 007989, red. Two versions of Lancia's stylish coupé were manufactured over a six year period in both coupé and Targa forms. First known as the Beta Montecarlo from 1975 with its inline twin cam four cylinder engine producing 118 bhp, a top speed of 119 mph and a 0-60 mph time of just under ten seconds. The second generation (S2) became available two years later incorporating some improvements over the original concept including fitting larger front discs and calipers, removing the servo altogether, a restyled front end featuring a new split grille design first seen on the Delta a year earlier, the buttresses were partially glazed to improve rear visibility, an aluminium strip was fitted in place of the bodycoloured metal where the badging was located previously, a new alloy wheel design was incorporated with 14 inch rims to house the large brakes. The interior had a new two spoke steering wheel replacing the original three spoke version. The engine gained a higher compression ratio, new carburettors and electronic ignition to improve driveability, while the suspension geometry was also revised. Production ran for only a single year with 1,123 coupés and 817 Targas produced. This revised S2 coupé version has continuous history from new, with our vendor taking possession in 2008. The Lancia is finished in red with a black leather interior and has been in dry storage with its Fiat X1/9 stable mate since its last MOT expired in April 2009. The Montecarlo will now require recommissioning, but the Lancia rolls freely. The accompanying history file contains ***an incomplete run of MOTs from December 1985 to 2007***, maintenance and restoration receipts, a list of all recorded owners and an original owner's handbook. This Lancia now looks for a new appreciative owner to further cherish and enjoy it. V5C, no MOT See illustrations

A 1963 Hillman Super Minx convertible, registration number UFX 61, chassis number B1300286HHCO, engine number B1300286HHCO, white. Originally supplied in 1963 by Craven Brothers in Portland, Dorset to its first owner. UFX 61 stayed in his ownership until 1989 when purchased by the second owner, a Mr Martin Wills of Shaftesbury, Dorset, who retained the car until 1997. During his ownership the decision was made to carry out a total ground up restoration of the car. This work was started but unfortunately after a long time and considerable expenditure due to ill health the car was not completed and sold unfinished to its third owner in 1997, a Mr Silvey of Poole. His subsequently completed the restoration between 1997 and 2003. Finished in white with red interior, it has only been used for club meetings and outings and has been exhibited on the Hillman Owner's Club stand at the prestigious NEC classic car show in Birmingham. Mr Silvey has now had to take the decision to give up driving and hence he is now parting with the car. UFX 61 is now offered for sale having had just three owners, and the odometer reading of 55,000 miles is reported to be correct. It retained its original registration number, tools including starting handle, its original handbook, radio with owner's manual and the supplying agents plaque is still attached to the dashboard. The Hillman will be supplied with a history file containing a number of previous MOT certificates and sundry paperwork. A very collectable car and one of only very few left registered with the DVLA, it offers a tremendous opportunity. ***No RF60***, V5, V5C, ***MOT to August 2018 (not September 2018)*** See illustrations
A 1964/1967 registered Mercedes-Benz 230 SL Pagoda, registration number TGC 157E, chassis number 113042220009990, silver. Unveiled at the 1963 Geneva Motor Show to an appreciative audience, the second generation Paul Bracq designed SL would go on to be a very successful addition to the Mercedes range with 19,831 230 SLs being manufactured by its production end in 1973. The new crisp styling incorporated the Pagoda hardtop, so called because of its resemblance to a Chinese Pagoda roof, a monocoque chassis equipped with all round independent suspension, power assisted steering, assisted discs/drum brakes and a 150 bhp straight six engine with either four speed manual or automatic transmission. This automatic 230 SL was original registered overseas and would receive its first British registration mark in 1967. Finished in a traditional colour scheme of silver coachwork with a contrasting black leather interior, matching mohair softop and works hardtop, she is fitted with the desirable option of alloy wheels and a modern stereo system concealed behind a period radio front. There is a large history file accompanying the SL with numerous receipts for thousands of pounds, previous owner history including a film company and IBM, previous MOTs and sundry paperwork. The vendor advises us that the Mercedes is mechanically good having been fettled for everyday use but he feels that there is some room for improvement in regards to the bodywork/paintwork and interior as time allows. A 1987 Ford Sierra RS Cosworth, registration number D290 WTN, white. In the mid 1980s Ford resumed their affiliation with Cosworth to create one of the most collectable and desired hot Fords of all time. Based on the XR4i three door body shell, they were constructed at the Genk plant in Belgium, power was supplied by a 1993cc Pinto four cylinder block with forged steel crankshaft and con rods, topped via a Cosworth developed 16 valve twin cam cylinder head fed by a Garrett AiResearch turbo charger, developing 204 bhp and performance figures of 0-60 in 6 seconds and top speed of 145 mph. Finished in white with a standard grey interior, our vendor advises us that the Ford has not been involved in any accidents and still retains all of its original body panels, interior, engine and running gear. The Cosworth has always been garaged and is said to run just as Ford intended with exhilarating acceleration and handling. There is a comprehensive history file accompanying the Cosworth with numerous receipts, past MOTs, brochures and handbooks. The Sierra RS Cosworth has always been a coveted car.
