A rare and unusual George III silvergilt vinaigrette of rounded oblong form,+ with engine turned decoration and an oblong cartouche on the cover initialled "P.J.G", the grille pierced and engraved with a trophy of arms, centred by an oval shield emblazonned with the Union Jack, the base hinging open to reveal a compartment with a swing out carriage to take a roller of some sort, probably by Thomas Wade, London 1815, 1.5in x 1.25in x 0.5in (3.8cm x 3cm x 1.3cm), 1. 25oz.

Unique 3.5in 4-8-0 + 4 locomotive with articulated tender 'Whim-Wham', built by the late 'Sam' Sampson of Taunton, the locomotive is based on a French engine, which the late Mr. Sampson spent over fifty years developing to the engine we see today, it has four compound cylinders, some seven pressure gauges, Walschaerts valve gear and a thermometer connected to the steam chest, it has the unusual feature of two abreast chimneys with Kylchap multiple jet blast pipes beneath. The engine has many modifications plus all the normal fittings associated with a live steam model of this type, brazed copper boiler with fittings including water gauge safety valve, injector, steam brake, whistle, regulator etc.
