Original vintage LNER London and North Eastern Railway poster - Coronation - featuring a great illustration by a Scottish artist Doris Zinkeisen (1898-1991) depicting the Coronation locomotive train on the railway tracks with elegant ladies and gentlemen in carriages, a child with the United Kingdom flag and a lady waving handkerchief as they greet the train, inscription below reads - Coronation locomotive built by Mr. Timothy Hackworth in honour of the Coronation of King William IV - 1831. Coronation engine from needlework picture in the john Phillimore collection or early railway relics. Forerunner of the Coronation 1937 LNER Streamline train King’s Cross and Edinburgh.
