At the same time the mileage was set at zero. In the current ownership, the Grinnall has always been garaged when not in use. Driven to the auction and stated to run very well. Between 2015 and 2018 it was subject to restoration using a new later style bulkhead, dashboard and bonnet. It was fully resprayed in Atlantis blue and the interior was re-trimmed in black with SVX style Recaro seats. During the restoration, the entire drive-train was replaced with a JE Engineering Zulu derived 4.4L V8 Land Rover AJ engine producing approximately 300bhp. It was mated to a Discovery 2 automatic transmission, suspension and axles. Invoices in excess of £30,000 for the restoration accompany the car. First registered in the UK in 2020. The speedometer, which was replaced, now reads 13,000 kilometres. The cherished registration is being removed, the re-applied registration is N274 WUP.
