AVRO TRIPLANE:- A former flying scale model, the braced wooden airframe part wood and fabric covered, the mainplanes and working tail surfaces with wire and bobbin control, the mainplanes arranged for wing-warping, with dummy pilot, some cockpit detail and part dummy engine, powered by a single cylinder glow-plug engine, on rubber tyred main under carriage with braced longitudinal skids, flying surfaces finished in natural dope, 64 1/2" wingspan. HAWKER FURY K2050: A well constructed former flying scale model of this most elegant Kestrel-engined bi-plane fighter, with fabric covered wooden airframe, some cockpit detail, dummy machine guns with sight, simulated aluminium covered engine cowlings, rubber tyred main undercarriage and tail skid, (tyres perished), with well made two blade mahogany propeller, finished in all-over silver and in Royal Air Force Unit markings, 45" wingspan (inter plane bracing and flying wires lacking). (See Illustration). Note: After service with Nos. 5 and 8 FTS and various RAF Squadrons, the original aircraft was exported to South Africa on 5.9.40.

A FREE FLIGHT MODEL AIRCRAFT with fine-fabric covered balsa wood airframe, well painted and lined in blue, burgundy and white, the oleo and wire sprung main undercarriage with wheel spats protecting the aluminium wheels with rubber tyres, rubber tyred tail wheel and glazed cabin, fitted and powered by an Allbon 2.8cc diesel engine driving an Airflow 1105 wood two blade propeller, 73" wingspan, c1938. This is a pre World War II model as shown in The Design & Constructions of Flying Model Aircraft, by D A Russell, published 1943.
A CONTROL LINE TEAM RACER No. 71014, finished in olive green, with a PAW 1.5cc diesel, c1965; an elegant tissue covered balsa framed Topsy free flight model built from Model Aircraft plans, the main plane with Eagle Club Model transfer, 36" wingspan and a low wing free flight model aircraft with yellow fuselage and red tissue covered wings, built for Clan 0.24cc diesel engine (3).
