This model was crafted in stainless steel and equipped with a glossy black dial and a gilt (gold plated) chapter ring.Rolex followed it up with a few units of the reference 6202 in stainless steel and yellow gold, which was really ahead of its time. It was very quickly discontinued, and only a handful of models are known. The second series – reference 6309 and 6609 – introduced an upgraded movement, and amped up the dressy aesthetic with solid gold editions. They were produced from 1954 to 1959.The third series – reference 1625 – officially made the Turn-o-Graph a part of the Datejust collection. The 'Turn-o-Graph' text was removed from the dial, leaving only 'Datejust' and adding 'Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified'. Two main variations of the 1625 were made available – both in stainless steel, with a choice between a white gold engine turned bezel, or a yellow gold bezel with matching center links. Several bracelet options were also offered, from the Jubilee and Oyster, to leather straps. While the collection is named the Turn-o-Graph in Rolex literature, it was also marketed as the 'Thunderbird' in North America. By the end of the 1950s, Rolex supplied the US Air Force's aerobatic squadron (named Thunderbird) with Turn-O-Graph watches, as the rotating bezels proved handy in navigating flight calculations. For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

Registration No: NJZ 211 Chassis No: GHN5361631G MOT: ExemptDesirable overdrive exampleAccompanied by full weather equipment including rare hardtop!Minilite-style alloy wheelsOffered with a history filePLEASE NOTE: This lot is now being offered without reserve!Introduced in 1962, the MGB Roadster enjoyed an eighteen-year production run. With nicely balanced handling and a good turn of speed, it merited the old MG marketing slogan 'Safety Fast'. Based around a monocoque chassis featuring independent coil-sprung front suspension and a leaf-sprung 'live' rear axle, its 1798cc 'B' series four-cylinder engine was allied to a four-speed manual transmission. Capable of over 100mph, the provision of front disc brakes and rack-and-pinion steering greatly aided control.Manufactured new in 1975, this MG B was supplied new to the United Kingdom being first registered on the 1st August that year. Finished in Blue paintwork with Black cloth interior upholstery, it is accompanied by full weather equipment comprising a full tonneau, hood tonneau cover and hood, all trimmed in Black, as well as a body colour hardtop, albeit requiring repainting. A desirable overdrive example that has been subject to a self-evident previous restoration, the MGB now presents with Minilite-style alloy wheels painted in Dark Grey and shod with Pirelli P3000 tyres all round and also features a chrome luggage rack and K&N air filters.Converted from rubber bumpers to chrome bumper specification in 2011, the parts included uprated and lower front springs and rear lowering kit, as well as the chrome bumpers, with the parts and fitment cost totalling some £1,700. Offered with a history file that includes a collection of invoices dating back to the 1980s, a large selection of MOT tests back to the early 1990s, a Haynes manual and spare parts catalogue and current V5C document, as well as two sets of keys. The Roadster started readily and both ran and drove well during our photography session and is due to be driven some 250 miles to the sale.PLEASE NOTE: The cherished registration plate showing in the images, 'NJZ 211', is included in the sale. Registration No: Y237 NRD Chassis No: SALLPAMW31A458735 MOT: September 2025One of just 200 Bordeaux limited edition examples for the UK market, 100 petrol and 100 dieselCurrent registered ownership since purchased from H&H in 2021 with seven former keepersRecently the beneficiary of much expenditure including new suspension bags and compressor, headlining, paint correction and moreTwenty-five years after its triumphant introduction, what's now known as the Range Rover `Classic' gave way to the second generation of the model (code name P38A). By then the Rover's original workman-like persona had been completely transformed - long gone were the hose-down rubber flooring and basic trim, which had been replaced by increasingly deep pile carpets, leather upholstery and wood finishings. The newcomer brought a strengthened chassis and less boxy exterior, while power was now provided by upgraded 4.0-litre and 4.6-litre versions of Rover's ubiquitous all-alloy V8 engine as well as a diesel derivative using the six-cylinder 2.5-litre engine. The limited-edition ‘Bordeaux’ was produced for the 2001 model year, with 200 examples manufactured for the UK market, 100 of both petrol and diesel variants. With a list price of £38,995 when new, they were finished in Alveston Red paintwork with colour-coded bumpers and mirrors along with Pro-Sport alloys. The interior upholstery is finished in complementary Lightstone Cream leather piped in Red with Red carpeting. ‘Y237 NRD’ was supplied new via Lancaster Land Rover of Reading, and this diesel example (fitted with the 2.5-litre TD engine) has been in current registered ownership since 2021 when purchased from the H&H December Buxton Pavilion Gardens auction.Already displaying full service history from new when purchased, the vendor has further improved this rare Range Rover with paintwork to the front end, a new headlining and improvements to the suspension including new front suspension bags and compressor. The vendor has kept up the impeccable servicing record with a further three services since purchase at 113,184 miles, 113,664 miles and the most recent at 114,208 miles in September 2024 and he has also fitted a new, correct spare wheel and sourced an original tool kit.Now described by the vendor as being in 'very good' condition all round, we are sure that any potential new owner would find this now very collectable vehicle a noble steed for years to come. Registration No: 212 APX Chassis No: SAZ.37 MOT: ExemptNotably nicely presented example, worthy of close inspection!Covered over 10,000 trouble-free miles while in the vendor's nine-year ownershipPresented in its original and appealing colour combination of Sand over Sable with Beige hide interior upholsteryPurchased by the vendor from a marque specialist in 2016 for £69,000Rolls-Royce launched the Silver Cloud in April 1955, and it was the company's core model range for the next 11 years. For the final iteration, the Silver Cloud III, the exterior dimensions were subtly altered, the interior remodelled and the weight reduced by some 220lbs. Engine improvements included replacing the 1.75-inch SU carburettors with 2.0-inch ones and raising the compression ratio to 9:1. The resulting extra performance allowed the 0-60mph dash to be completed in just 10.1 seconds and a mean top speed of 114.3mph. The obvious visual change was the adoption of four headlamps. Less noticeable were the slightly increased slope of the bonnet and the shorter (by 1.5 inches) radiator grille.Chassis SAZ.37 was supplied new through Rolls-Royce agent P. J. Evans of Birmingham and was delivered on the 29th October 1962 to the first owner, a Mr E. F. Cash Esq of 147 Moor Green Lane, Birmingham, who is understood to have been an embroidery shop owner. Specified from the factory in Sand over Sable paintwork with a Beige hide interior upholstery with Fawn headcloth and Cumberland stone carpet, this is pleasingly still the colour scheme in which the Cloud is presented today. The Cloud was further optioned with electric windows, 620T radio, and Avon tubeless tyres when new. Acquired by the vendor from a Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialist in 2016 after being seen during his search for a Cloud III, this specific model was desired by the vendor due to memories of being taken to watch Derby County Football Club in a Cloud III by his father’s friend and business partner, Sam Longson, while Mr Longson was in his role as Derby Country Chairman!Purchased for the value of £69,000, the vendor has covered over 10,000 trouble-free miles in his nine-year ownership, with the Cloud now displaying c.76,500 credible miles on the odometer. Well-maintained during the vendor's ownership by a classic car specialist, the Rolls-Royce has been lavished with some £12,750 worth of expenditure, with maintenance including servicing; power steering fettling and underside attention in 2022; wheel refurbishment in 2021; and renewed starting equipment, brake refresh and speedometer overhaul in 2018. Supplied with a history file that includes the RREC chassis records, invoices from the vendor's ownership, a collection of MOT certificates and a current V5C document showing four former keepers and is accompanied by a touring spares package. Entered into the RREC Concours for cars covering over 3,000 miles per year while in the custodianship of the vendor, chassis SAZ.37 came within two marks of winning, with the vendor admitting ‘school-boy errors’ accounted to the falling short such as a headlight bulb failure on route.A notably nicely presented example in its original colour combination, this Cloud is worthy of close inspection! Registration No: JRE 747 Chassis No: 29S8705 MOT: ExemptRare 12HP Riley, with only some 575 units produced'Intact' and 'very original' exampleIdeal candidate for 'oily rag' motoring or for full restoration, with the engine freeIn storage for several decades being unearthed in 2020After the Nuffield group took over Riley in 1938, the model range was streamlined to just the 12/4 and 16/4 engines. Each chassis offered two body styles: a 6-light 4-door Saloon with a swept tail, and a 2-door drophead Coupe. The Saloon, which had begun development before the takeover, was a clear evolution of the Adelphi body style, with some 550-575 units produced. The design featured the fashionable in-period helmet-style wings instead of the traditional Riley flowing designs. The rear doors were rear-hinged, unlike the centrally hinged doors of the Adelphi. Additionally, the rear of the car possessed a squarer design, with a larger rear quarter light and a bigger boot. This is a rare car, beginning production at the outbreak of war meant that production then stopped for the duration, with Riley introducing the RM post-war.In an 'intact' state, this rare Riley 12HP isn’t a stalled restoration or box of bits. Known to the Riley Motor Club, in the words of the vendor, ‘nothing has been done to this car and everything is still very original’. Its history is uncertain, where it began life or how many miles it's covered. We are told the Riley went into storage in the late 1960s and remained there until 2020. It was recovered by the previous owner and awaited restoration, but other projects got in the way. The engine hasn't been started in the current ownership, however, we believe the engine turns. Inside, the leather seats offer the potential for cleaning up nicely. The vendor adds, ‘all the doors, boot and bonnet open and the car rolls freely. The floors, the boot floor and the chassis all look to be sound.’ It could make a great restoration project and is offered with the V5C and a single key. Unveiled at the 2002 Detroit Show, the 177mph Maserati Coupe (aka 4200 GT) was styled by Giorgetto Giugiaro of Italdesign. A direct evolution of the 3200 GT, the 4200 GT Coupe was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show in 2002 and was a genuine four-seater powered by a normally aspirated, Ferrari-based engine, of 390bhp. Developing 385bhp/332lbft, its 4244cc V8 engine was allied to a six-speed transmission that could be had in conventional manual or 'Cambiocorsa' guises, the latter incorporating electrohydraulic assistance and F1-style steering wheel paddles. First registered on 1st March 2006, this Cambiocorsa iteration of the 4200GT, with the 6-speed automatic transmission, is finished in Alfieri Grey complemented to a Tan leather interior. Displaying a credible c.47,000 miles from new the Coupe was recently the subject of a new clutch at HR Owen Maserati with the majority of the servicing having been with main dealers, interspersed with specialist garage servicing at other times. Registration No: WAC 953S Chassis No: R4DCC8L100044 MOT: ExemptUnderstood to be one of the very first factory built competition carsPart of a private rally car collectionBenefiting from a recent engine overhaulRare opportunity to purchase a very special car with lots of competition historyPeugeot rebranded its latest acquisition ‘Talbot', using and reacquainting two familiar automotive names of the past, the Chrysler Sunbeam becoming the Talbot Sunbeam, a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive hatchback originally produced by Chrysler in 1976 with financial support from the British Government. The first high-performance Talbot Sunbeam, known as the Sunbeam Ti, was powered by a similar twin Weber carburettor-fed four-cylinder engine as its Avenger Tiger big brother. With some 100bhp and 96lbft of torque on tap and a kerb weight of just 920kg, the newcomer was found capable of 0-60mph in 9.9 seconds and 111mph. Equipped with MacPherson strut independent suspension, a coil-sprung live rear axle, slick four-speed manual gearbox and disc / drum brakes, the Ti proved eminently tuneable. Running in both Group A rallying and Group 1 circuit racing forms, it recorded more victories and podiums than its more famous Lotus-engined sibling. The rally crowd took it to their hearts though, thanks to a plethora of off-the-shelf tuning parts and under the guidance of Des Odell, the Peugeot Talbot motorsport team was born and went on to conquer Ford's stable of high achieving Escorts with the iconic Lotus Sunbeam.Registered to Chrysler UK Ltd on October 4th, 1977, ‘WAC 953S’ was among the earliest Talbot Sunbeam competition cars. Documentation states that this car initially saw action as a circuit race car before being converted for tarmac rallying. There’s expired FIA paperwork on file detailing the car’s original specifications. In the 1980s ‘WAC’ gained recognition in competitions in southern England, securing victories in both the Southern and ASWMC championships. In recent years, ‘WAC 953S’ has formed part of a private collection and has been recently subject to an engine overhaul and is now ready for a new custodian to enjoy. It’s not every day an opportunity arises to own a Works competition car of the Talbot Sunbeam. A selection of spares including wheels are included in the sale. Registration No: DL59 GRX Chassis No: 2G1FK1EJ7A9185224 MOT: July 2025Desirable Camaro SS modelL99 6.2 litre V8, automatic transmission, performance suspension, Brembo brakes, LSDOptional Inferno Orange Metallic paintwork with two-tone leather upholsteryImported into the UK in June 2023 PLEASE NOTE: This lot was driven to the sale, however it is displaying an engine management light, TPMS light and brake bulb warning light however a new bulb was found in the car when stripped out.The Mustang versus Camaro rivalry has been raging since the 1960s with both models amassing a legion of loyal fans. Introduced in 2009, the fifth generation Camaro featured stylistic echoes of its 1969 forebear (notably the grille, roof line, quarter windows and side trim) but was underpinned by a brand new platform. Engineered by Holden who had responsibility for all GM’s rear-wheel drive designs, the latter was equipped with all-round independent suspension (McPherson strut front / four-link rear), four-wheel disc brakes and power assisted steering. Available in Coupe and Convertible guises, the muscular-looking Chevy could be had with a choice of V6 or V8 engines (ranging in size from 3.6 – 7.0 litres) allied to manual or automatic transmission. In production from March 2009 – November 2015, the fifth generation Camaro found fame on the big screen thanks to its role as ‘Bumblebee’ in the Transformers franchise. Dating from the 2010 model year, chassis 2G1FK1EJ7A9185224 was built to a high specification including Inferno Orange Metallic paintwork, leather upholstery (2SS), L99 6.2-litre V8 (400bhp / 410lbft of torque), automatic transmission, limited slip differential, performance suspension, Brembo brakes and 21-inch wheels. A desirable SS model, its interior is understood to have been uprated with quilted transmission tunnel sides and quilted floor mats to complement the two-tone seats prior to being imported to the UK in 2023. Thoroughly enjoyed by the vendor since its acquisition last year, ‘DL59 GRX’ started readily and ran well during our recent photography session. The V8 engine is said to emit a pleasing rumble, while the automatic gearbox shifted smoothly. Representing an inexpensive entry to American muscle car ownership, this eye-catching Camaro is offered for sale with a current MOT certificate valid until July 2025. Registration No: FJD 807D Chassis No: GNW3101785 MOT: ExemptLong-term family ownership since 1976Offered with a collection of invoices and the current V5CSubject to mechanical refreshment less than 500 miles agoFinished in British Racing Green complemented with a Black interior and hoodThe MGA had really been the first 'BMC corporate' MG, and the MGB which replaced it was intended to be even more popular. Although the engineering of the new car was evolutionary - the B-Series engine, transmission, rear axle and independent front suspension were all improved versions of those used in the previous MGA. The first incarnation of the MGB built from 1962 to April 1965 featured distinctive pull-type door handles and a 95bhp/1798cc engine with three-main-bearing crankshaft and while overdrive was an optional extra, the model's top speed was more than 100mph. Today, it enjoys a very strong following and with its GT sister has spawned a dedicated support industry. For many, the early chrome-bumper MGB roadster is the epitome of the classic British sports car. When the MGB replaced the MGA in 1962, the main change was the use of a lower and wider steel monocoque bodyshell rather than a separate chassis and body, and a larger 1798cc engine instead of the 1498cc power unit fitted to the MGA. The other major changes to the model were a new grille and an all-synchromesh gearbox on the 1967-launched MkII, whilst American Federal-compliant Black rubber instead of chrome bumpers further changed the appearance from 1974.From long-term family ownership of some 48 years (since 1976), this B Roadster was initially purchased by the father before being passed on to the son. Finished in British Racing Green complemented by a Black interior and soft-top, the B was the subject of mechanical refreshment fewer than 500 miles ago, this included an engine overhaul. Other work has seen improvement in terms of the fuel and coolant systems, benefitting from both a new fuel tank and a radiator. Suspension springs have also been replaced. The bodywork was subject to restoration work that included sills and wings which were believed to have been replaced in the mid-1990s. ‘FJD’ is being offered at auction with a current V5C Registration Document, a collection of invoices and a history file. Registration No: S346 NSO Chassis No: WP0ZZZ99ZXS602223 MOT: January 2026Warranted 12,500 miles from newPurchased by the vendor while a resident of Jersey when 18 months oldExceptionally original and excellently presentedAccompanied by a strong service history with the vast majority from Official Porsche Centres (OPC)Asked to nominate his favourite generation of Porsche 911 during its 50th Anniversary celebrations in 2013, racing driver and journalist Tiff Needell chose the 996 commenting: "This was the model that brought the 911 into the modern world. We finally got rid of the VW pedals and had a chassis that handled in a much more progressive and controllable manner. Not a convert before completely converted after!" Traditionalists may have decried the 996's water-cooled engine and shared Boxster componentry, however, the newcomer's use of a brand-new platform (the 911's first since 1963) meant that it was notably lighter, stiffer, and more aerodynamic than its 993 predecessor. Equipped with four-valve cylinder heads, the 996's 3.4-litre engine developed 296bhp and 258lbft (outputs comparable to those of the 993 Carrera RS's 3.8-litre unit). Allied to either a six-speed manual or five-speed Tiptronic transmission, the free-revving flat-six enabled the 2+2-seater to sprint to 60mph in 5 seconds and onto 174mph. More ergonomically laid out and spacious than that of any previous 911, the 996's cabin also boasted a far better HVAC system. Early 3.4-litre 996 cars are increasingly sought after because of their stronger dual-row IMS bearings and mechanical throttles.Supplied new by Official Porsche Centre (OPC) Five Oaks Garage of Jersey on 4th January 1999 to a titled gentleman, ‘S346 NSO’ was fitted with various ‘Exclusive Programme’ options which necessitated its transfer from the regular production line to the Zuffenhausen firm’s hallowed ‘Werk 1’ building. Finished in the striking combination of Schwarz Metallic with Black leather upholstery, the 911 had contrasting alloy-hued trim added to its handbrake lever, gear selector surround and instrument faces. Specified without a ‘no cost option’ electric sunroof, the 2+2-seater received such niceties as ParkAssist, heated / memory seats, Porsche crested wheel caps, 18-inch SportClassic two-piece alloy wheels and leather bound floor mats. Entering the current (second) ownership when it was just eighteen months old, the Porsche relocated from Jersey to Scotland in 2009. Cherished and sparingly used over the past quarter century, the four-wheel drive sportscar has covered a very modest 12,500 miles from new.Notably original, the 911 is understood to have never had (or needed) attention to its factory paintwork or upholstery. The accompanying original Porsche wallet contains the owner’s manual and service book with the latter documenting no fewer than thirteen services plus six brake fluid changes, seven long-life reports and two airbag checks. The book was not stamped when a fourteenth service was carried out in January 2024 at 12,433 miles but the associated invoice remains on file (as does the car’s V5C Registration Document and MOT history). Starting readily and running well during our recent photography session, ‘S346 NSO’ pleasingly retains its original tool-kit, locking wheel nut and warning triangle. We have known well-maintained 996s to cover 200,000 miles or more without needing an engine overhaul. Thus, it is rare to find one with such a modest odometer reading. Given the increasing collectability of the first generation cars, this two-owner, well looked after example is definitely one to consider. Said to be influenced by Raymond Loewy's designs for Studebaker, the P4's transatlantic lines clothed a highly competent chassis equipped with independent coil-and-wishbone front suspension and a Panhard rod located leaf-sprung rear axle. Various engine options were available during the P4's model life including the '60' a 1997cc OISE four-cylinder engine developing some 60bhp and 101lbft of torque, it had been used in the early Land Rover, although it now had modifications including an SU carburettor. With the standard four-speed plus freewheel manual transmission, this gave a respectable top speed of 80mph. Only marginally slower (2mph) than its '75' big brother, the '60' was also rather too close in terms of list price.First registered for the road in Hertfordshire on 18th February 1955, this example of the rarer '60' iteration of the Rover P4 displays some 50,700 miles on the odometer (believed to be c.150,700). What paperwork we have seen would appear to support this example having been off the road since the 1980s, only recently being brought out into the light of day. As part of the car's story, some handwritten maintenance notes on file were maintained in previous ownership from April 1975 until the mid-1980s. The notes show regular maintenance that included such work as a new head gasket in 1977 at 109,780 miles. We are advised the engine has been running recently, however, it would offer the opportunity as an ideal project or addition to a P4 enthusiast's collection. Offered with two workshop manuals, the aforementioned handwritten maintenance notes, the original logbook and the current V5C. Registration No: GJ05 LYK Chassis No: SARRJLLFF5D341421 MOT: NoneOffered with its original service book and owner's manualJust c.15,900 miles from new and just 3 former keepers Finished in Ignition Blue with a Black cloth interior In 2001, three years after the launch of the Rover 75 and less than a year after the de-merger of MG Rover from BMW, the MG ZT and MG ZT-T were launched. During the car's development, the models were codenamed X10 and X11, for the saloon and estate versions, respectively. The basic shape and styling of the MG ZT remained the same as for the Rover 75 but with changes to the front bumper and detail alterations including colour coding of the chromed waistline, a new bootlid plinth, and different alloy wheels and tyres sizes. The interior featured revised seats and dashboard treatment, with new instrument faces. Engineering changes ranged, from upgraded suspension and brakes to revised engine tuning (from the Rover 75) for the petrol models. The MG ZT only had one trim level, though the standard car could be ordered with a "Plus" pack. MG ZT models were named after engine unit power output, i.e. a 160ps V6 model was an MG ZT 160, and a 190ps V6 model with a "Plus" pack was an MG ZT 190+.'GJ05 LYK' was first registered by the supplying dealership Caffyns PLC, Eastbourne on 31st March 2005. Finished in Ignition Blue with a Black cloth interior, today the ZT 190+ has covered just c.15,900 miles from new and just 3 former keepers are recorded on the V5C. The service record shows 11 entries, seven of which are with main dealers and 4 with independent specialists. On record is a cam-belt change that was carried out at 7,165 miles in March 2011. At 8,716 miles, in April 2016, the ZT 190 benefitted from a new modified Borg and Beck clutch and a slave and master cylinder. Offered with its original service book and the owner's manual, there's an accompanying V5C Registration Document. Registration No: UEX 318W Chassis No: WDB10702522000305 MOT: ExemptProfessionally uprated by former main dealer turned marque specialist Damas (Chesterfield) Ltd for the proprietor's own use5547cc '560' 126-series engine installed to create a unique 'sleeper'Treated to a 'bare metal' bodywork restoration in 2013 including thousands of pounds worth of new trim piecesEngine number and displacement updated by the DVLA on the car's V5C Registration DocumentDyno tested at 320bhp with a notably flat torque curveA car that AMG should have built!Beginning life as a UK-supplied 380 SLC, ‘UEX 318W’ was acquired by the proprietor of Damas (Chesterfield) Ltd – a former Mercedes-Benz dealer turned marque specialist – during July 1987. Deciding to create something of a ‘lion in wolf’s clothing’, he subsequently sourced a low mileage M117.968 V8 (as fitted to the Stuttgart firm’s flagship 126-series 560 SEC and SEL models) to supplant the four-seater’s original 3.8 litre unit. Installed without altering the inner wings etc, the bigger powerplant nestles snugly within the engine bay and looks pleasingly ‘stock’. In keeping with its intended ‘sleeper’ vibe, the only external clues to the Fixed Head Coupe’s significant extra performance are flat-faced alloys and a bespoke ‘560 SLC’ badge affixed to the boot lid. Having persuaded the owner of Damas (Chesterfield) Ltd to part with 'UEX 318W' in October 2012, the seller entrusted it to Finesse Auto Bodies the following August for a ‘bare metal’ respray at a cost of £13,500 (which excludes the four figure sum spent on new trim pieces). Driven less than 1,200 miles since visiting marque specialist Nick Webster for attention to its steering, propshaft and viscous coupling etc, ‘UEX 318W’ is understood to have recorded ‘320bhp and a notably flat torque curve’ during a rolling road session. Finished in the stealthy combination of Black with Black leather upholstery, the Mercedes-Benz boasts such niceties as air-conditioning and electric windows. Starting readily and running well during our recent photography session, the car felt notably potent even during low-speed manoeuvres. Only coming to market because the vendor wishes to rationalise his collection, this unique ‘560 SLC’ is offered for sale with V5C Registration Document (correctly updated vis-à-vis the car’s current cubic capacity and engine number), owner’s manual and sundry bills. A fabulous concept and one which would doubtless be worth telephone numbers if it had been converted by AMG! For more information, please contact: Damian Jones damian.jones@handh.co.uk 07855 493737

Registration No: MB04 LVJ Chassis No: UZS1870002206 MOT: January 2026109,000 recorded kms (c.68,000 miles)Rare AWD system, 4.3 V8 engine mated to a 6-speed automatic gearboxRecent new battery, brake discs and brake pads all aroundSubject to a cam-belt and water pump change at Lexus Sheffield last MayThe Toyota Crown Majesta (Toyota Kuraun Majesuta) was a full-size luxury sedan from Toyota. It was an upmarket variant of the Crown and served as Toyota's flagship model in various countries. The Crown Majesta appeared after the international introduction of the Celsior/Lexus LS in late 1989; the Celsior was exclusive to Toyopet Store locations on a newer platform. The Crown Majesta, positioned as a modern limousine alternative to the already existing Century and shares the flagship role, was exclusive to Toyota Japanese dealerships called Toyota Store. It is not just an upper trim level of the Crown sedan, the Majesta is a separate car with unique styling and interior treatment. The fourth-generation Crown Majesta was introduced in July 2004. In August 2006, the Celsior was no longer offered in Japan, due to the introduction of the Lexus brand there.Imported into the UK and registered in the UK in April 2023, this rare in the UK Toyota Crown has covered some 109,000km (68,000 miles). It is finished in Pearlescent White with a Dark Grey cloth interior. The Majesta's high specification includes an all-wheel drive system (AWD), air suspension, radar cruise control, a reverse camera, an electric rear blind, a cabin ioniser, electric front seats, electrically reclining rear seats, door blinds, and an electric rear blind. With power from a 4.3 V8 engine and 276bhp and 430Nm of torque, it is said to be relatively economical for such an engine, regularly achieving over 30mpg. Based on the Lexus GS platform, engine and transmission of the time, sourcing parts in the UK should be straightforward. Since its arrival in the UK, it has received a new battery, brake discs and pads, replacement of both front height adjusters, and the cam-belt and water pump were replaced at Lexus Sheffield last May, with invoices on file. With a recent MOT, the vendor describes the condition as 'impeccable'. All the import paperwork is present in the file, such as the Japanese service record and three keys. Registration No: CYU 376 Chassis No: GUL 41 MOT: November 2025Fitted with its original Barker 'Owen' coachwork with twin spare wheelsCurrent ownership since 2018Featuring the rare and desirable Lucas QK596 headlampsOffered with chassis card records, owner's handbook, invoices and the current V5CSubject to a previous overdrive and engine overhaulMaintaining its policy of offering one ‘Large’ and one ‘Small’ model (the terms being purely relative!), Rolls-Royce introduced the 20/25 in 1929 as a successor to the outgoing 20hp. Though the newcomer was intended to appeal to owner drivers, many examples were in fact sold to customers with chauffeurs. Power came from an enlarged version of the straight-six unit used in the 20hp. Now of 3699cc, it made for swifter acceleration and a higher top speed – up to 75mph, depending on the chosen body. The four-speed manual gearbox featured the manufacturer’s traditional right-hand change and was equipped with synchromesh on the top two ratios from 1932 onwards. The substantial chassis sported rigid axles front and rear suspended on semi-elliptic leaf springs. The four-wheeled braking was mechanically servo-assisted. In 1936, the company opted to increase the performance once more, further enlarging the engine to 4257cc to create the so-called 25/30, of which 1,201 examples were made before the model was superseded by the Wraith in 1938. Like many Rolls-Royces of this elegance, the 25/30 marque starred on the silver screen, most notably in ‘The Naked Truth’ and ‘Death on the Nile’.Chassis GUL 41 possesses the original Barker ‘Owen’ coachwork, as shared in a magazine feature for Great Cars in 2008. GUL 41’s first owner was Cecil Rhodes Dormer, the son of Francis Dormer, a close friend and business associate of Cecil Rhodes (1853-1902), English mining magnate, politician and founder of the southern African territory of Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). They met while travelling from London to Cape Town on the ship ‘Teuton’ in 1875. When the ‘Cape Argus’ newspaper was up for sale, Francis sought financial help from Cecil Rhodes, who provided the necessary funds. With a close relationship, subsequently, Francis Dormer is credited with naming Rhodesia. After Cecil R. Dormer died in 1951, GUL41 was acquired by mill owners William M. Haggas & Son. By the 1960s, GUL 41 was with D. A. Claxton RN, stationed at HMS Caledonia, a Royal Navy training establishment in Rosyth, before being acquired by Andrew Plotzke of Suffolk.Today, the car’s cosmetic condition displays well-maintained paint, and chrome, featuring the desirable Lucas QK596 headlamps, and with an appealing Brown leather interior. Equipped with an overdrive unit and well-suited for touring, the sizeable fitted rear trunk and twin side-mounted spare wheels enhance its practicality. Since 2018, the car has been under the care of its current owner, as evidenced by detailed invoices from marque specialists Matt Pickles and Fiennes Restoration, attesting to the large expenditure. In 2011, the car underwent an engine and overdrive overhaul by James Black Restorations. Previous work has included a new cylinder head and a complete re-wiring. Chassis GUL 41, wearing the number ‘CYU 376’, is accompanied by the original owner’s handbook, a collection of invoices and old MOTs. Additionally, it includes the buff continuation logbook, chassis card records, the owner’s handbook and the current V5C. Running well when inspected for the photography session, this well-documented and cherished example comes to sale with a sensible estimate. Registration No: LNF 240V Chassis No: 11603322096297 MOT: ExemptReputedly owned by just two families from newPurchased and restored by the vendor because his father was the original keeperFitted with a new sunroof, leather interior, front wings and sills as part of the renovationMechanically gone through by marque specialist Nick WebsterIntroduced in 1972, the W116 was flagship of the contemporary Mercedes-Benz range. Beautifully built, the newcomer offered levels of safety, interior space, handling, performance and ride that few, if any, rivals could match. Equipped with all round independent suspension (McPherson strut front, semi-trailing arm rear), disc brakes and power assisted steering, engine sizes varied from a modest 2.8 litre straight-six to an extravagant 6.9 litre V8. Though, it could be argued that the long wheelbase 450 SEL model was the pick of the range. Reputedly capable of 130mph thanks to its potent 4520cc V8 unit, it was less nose-heavy / thirsty than the Wagnerian 6.9. A lifelong Mercedes-Benz enthusiast, the vendor jumped at the chance to buy ‘LNF 240V’ during August 2012 because it had originally belonged to his father. Unperturbed to learn that the 450 SEL had been written off by an insurance company five years earlier due to minor storm damage (tiles falling on its roof etc), he set about having the car professionally restored at a cost of circa £15,000. Treated to a new sunroof (the storm’s primary victim), sills and front wings plus a repaint, the luxury saloon was then despatched to marque specialist Nick Webster for much mechanical fettling. The interior was refreshed courtesy of new old stock upholstery sourced from America but the supplying dealer’s rear window sticker (Premier Service Station of Levenshulme) left proudly in situ. The seller was told that ‘LNF 240V’ had been kept by different members of the same family since leaving his father’s care and is confident that the current odometer reading of c.59,600 miles represents the total covered from new. Starting readily and running well during our recent photography session, the 450 SEL has seen modest use since its rejuvenation. Still an imposing and luxurious motorcar, it is offered for sale with old V5 Registration Document, owner’s manual, letter re the storm damage and sundry paperwork. Registration No: M706 ELC Chassis No: SCBZP03C6SCH55105 MOT: January 20261 of just 25 Turbo RL cars made to right-hand drive specification during the 1995 model yearTreated to almost £20,000 worth of servicing and improvement work by Rolls-Royce and Bentley specialists Shadow Vehicle Services and Prestige Services since 2020Elegantly finished in Red Pearl with Sandstone hide upholstery piped in St James Red82,000 recorded miles but could reportedly pass for 28,000!Colour coded front wing vents with mesh insertsHuge value for moneyIntroduced in March 1985, the Bentley Turbo R could be had in standard or long wheelbase guises. The marque’s most expensive offering, the latter cossetted rear seat occupants with an extra four inches’ legroom. However, the associated price increase was such that most customers opted to forego the additional space (the Turbo R outsold the Turbo RL by roughly 3:1). Progressively evolved throughout its twelve-year production run, the Turbo RL gained Bosch KE- Jetronic fuel injection, anti-lock brakes (1987 model year), GM 4-L80E four-speed automatic transmission (1992 model year), front airbags, Electronic Boost Control (1994 model year) and 17-inch alloy wheels (1995 model year) among myriad other changes. Performance remained a strong point with 1995 model year cars reputedly being capable of 0-60mph in 6.5 seconds and 155mph! Every Turbo RL was effectively a special order machine with just 47 examples being handbuilt during the 1995 model year (22 LHD and 25 RHD). One of the twenty-five cars completed to right-hand drive specification during the 1995 model year, chassis SCBZP03C6SCH55105 was supplied new by Lancaster Europa Ltd of Sheffield on 15th August 1994. Finished in the attractive combination of Red Pearl (Mica) with Sandstone leather and St James Red piping, the Bentley’s condition belies the 82,000 miles recorded by its odometer. Indeed, the seller feels that the first two digits could credibly be transposed such is his confidence in the way the Turbo RL looks and drives. Inspired by that of the Continental R, the handsome dashboard is complemented by rear picnic tables. While a large bore exhaust pipe, matrix grille and body coloured front wing vents with mesh inserts hint at the turn of speed available. Treated to nearly £20,000 worth of servicing and improvement work by Shadow Vehicle Services of Pudsey and Prestige Services of Leeds since 2020, the luxury sports saloon has benefited from a top-end engine overhaul; skimmed cylinder heads; new head gaskets, renewal of the cooling equipment and reconditioning of the radiator; a new lower steering column; new front brake discs and pads; new front springs and shock absorbers; and a new brake accumulator etc. Interestingly, the staff at Shadow Vehicle Services and Prestige Services were trained to factory standards at Rippon Bros and (its successor) Appleyard Rippon respectively. Worthy of close inspection, this decidedly rare and well looked after Turbo RL is due to be driven to the Pavilion Gardens. Offered for sale with V5C Registration Document, original owner’s handbook, stamped service book, current ‘no advisories’ MOT certificate valid until May 2025, tool kit and numerous invoices etc. PLEASE NOTE: This lot now possesses a 'no advisories' MOT certificate valid until January 2026 For more information, please contact: Damian Jones damian.jones@handh.co.uk 07855 493737

Intended as a replacement for the Mini-derived Wolseley Hornet and Riley Elf, the newcomer boasted better frontal crash protection and improved under-bonnet access. Available until 1982, the Clubman Estate (like its Countryman forebear) blended the Mini's legendary handling and verve with a welcome dose of practicality. Sitting on a longer 7-ft 0-in wheelbase, it featured all-round independent suspension, four-wheel drum brakes, and rack and pinion steering.Manufactured new as a Clubman Estate, ‘GED 382V’ has since been converted into Van specification. Registration No: LF53 ONO Chassis No: WP0ZZZ99Z35608699 MOT: January 2026Presented in the appealing combination of Silver with a Red interiorDisplaying just c.40,250 miles from new, corroborated by the MOT HistoryFitted with later 997 five spoke alloy wheelsThe first truly new Porsche 911 since the model’s inception in 1963, the 996-series upset quite a few marque traditionalists when it was launched thirty-four years later. Although, lighter, faster, more aerodynamic and better handling than the outgoing 993-series, the newcomer was pilloried for its ‘fried egg’ headlights (shared with the entry level Boxster), re-designed interior and water-cooled 3.4 litre engine. A response to ever-tightening emissions regulations, the latter developed 300bhp and 258lbft of torque (making it considerably more potent than its air-cooled 3.6 litre predecessor) and was allied to manual or automatic transmission. Introduced for the 2002 model year, the second generation 996 (a.k.a the 996.2) sported 911-specific headlights which were only shared with the Turbo model together with re-profiled front and rear bumpers. Inside, it gained such niceties as fold out cupholders and a glovebox. The engine grew to 3.6 litres with its increased 320bhp / 273lbft outputs prompting the Tiptronic variants to be fitted with a stronger Mercedes-Benz 722.6 automatic transmission (utilised by several AMG models). The 996.2 was able to boast a stiffer bodyshell too, to the benefit of handling / roadholding. Available in Coupe, Targa and Convertible guises, all were capable of daily use but boasted near 180mph top speeds. Finished in the handsome combination of Silver with Red leather upholstery, chassis WP0ZZZ99Z3S608699 is understood to have covered a mere 40,000 miles from new. A rear-wheel drive 996.2 model fitted with the larger engine and stronger Mercedes-Benz Tiptronic transmission, it further boasts a sunroof and slightly later 997-series alloy wheels. The MOT history corroborates the notably low mileage, while a HPi check includes the following note: 'Category N Insurance Loss. No Structural Damage and Repairable - Insurer Decided Not to Repair.' Given the price of certain Porsche parts, it would have been surprisingly easy to ‘write off’ the 911 back in July 2018 when the marker was issued. Little used of late, the 2+2-seater passed its most recent MOT test on 17th January 2025 at an indicated 40,240 miles with ‘no advisories’. A landmark model in 911 evolution, interest in the 996-series grows year on year. Needless to say, ‘LF53 ONO’ would carry a considerably higher guide price were it not for its 2018 misadventure. Registration No: PJN 222R Chassis No: GHN5-411914G MOT: ExemptOffered with a collection of invoices and the current V5C documentFinished in Pale Primrose complemented with a Black interior, hood and a chrome bumper back-dateSubject to a mechanical refresh in the last 2 yearsPreviously restored by M.S Associates of NorfolkThe MG A had really been the first 'BMC corporate' MG, and the MG B which replaced it was intended to be even more popular. Although the engineering of the new car was evolutionary - the B-Series engine, transmission, rear axle and independent front suspension were all improved versions of those used in the previous MG A. The first incarnation of the MG B built from 1962 to April 1965 featured distinctive pull-type door handles and a 95bhp/1798cc engine with three-main-bearing crankshaft and while overdrive was an optional extra, the model's top speed was more than 100mph. Today, it enjoys a very strong following and with its GT sister has spawned a dedicated support industry. For many, the early chrome-bumper MG B Roadster is the epitome of the classic British sports car. When the MG B replaced the MG A in 1962, the main change was the use of a lower and wider steel monocoque bodyshell rather than a separate chassis and body, and a larger 1798cc engine instead of the 1498cc power unit fitted to the MG A. The other major changes to the model were a new grille and an all-synchromesh gearbox on the 1967-launched MkII, whilst American Federal-compliant Black rubber instead of chrome bumpers further changed the appearance from September 1974.First registered on the 25th August 1976, this MG B Roadster is finished in Pale Primrose complemented with a Black interior and hood. Previously restored by M.S Associates of Norfolk, at some stage the Roadster has seen a conversion from the rubber bumpers to wear chrome bumpers as the pre-September 1974 cars were, complementing the paint scheme well. Inside, a wood-effect dash kit has been fitted over the later Black plastic panels. The wheels are the 'sporty' Minilite-style. ‘PJN’ was the subject of a mechanical refresh in the last 2 years, when the brakes were renewed, along with the head gasket and rear axle thrush washers. Offered with a tonneau, a collection of invoices and the current V5C Registration Document. For more information, please contact: Luke Hipkiss luke.hipkiss@handh.co.uk 07886398226

It can be considered one of the earliest examples of what we now know as SUVs, seamlessly combining the renowned off-road and towing capabilities of Land Rover with a top speed of 100mph and a focus on passenger comfort. The 'Suffix A' Range Rovers are particularly coveted among enthusiasts and collectors. These models can be identified by the letter 'A' at the end of their chassis numbers, signifying their adherence to the original design principles. First registered in 1972, this original 'matching numbers' Suffix A example of the Range Rover has the 4-speed manual gearbox and is still with its original engine, gearbox and axle. Registration No: DUR 482 Chassis No: 28L7838 MOT: ExemptLong-term family ownershipThe subject of a previous gearbox overhaulOffered from a deceased estatePreviously a multi-award winning Riley at club eventsIn the late 1920s and '30s, Riley, based in Coventry, crafted some of the finest small sporting cars globally, spanning Saloons, Tourers, and dedicated sports models. Percy Riley's famous marque really took off thanks to the 1926 Motor Show exhibited Riley 9, the main feature of which was the engine, which became a talking point amongst the sporting motoring fraternity. For when most of the rival firms were still employing side valves, Riley's 9 engine had not one, but two camshafts, mounted high up in the cylinder block, driving inclined valves via short pushrods and rockers, and was fitted with hemispherical cylinder heads - a layout which responded well to some further power increasing tweaking. Indeed, the Thompson and Taylor team Brooklands 9 (Nine) became one of the biggest winners in British motor racing pre-war. Such racetrack credentials quickly rubbed off on the street models, which the 'Brooklands crowd' bought in great numbers. The late vendor purchased this 1938 Riley 12/4 Lynx in the 1990s. Previously a multi award-winning Riley at club events, the Lynx had been in use until 2022 and maintained to a good standard, when it was laid up due to ill health. Just one of a batch of 44 built at the end of the line for the 12/4 Lynx range and fitted with a Riley Sprite dash from new, it was purchased by the previous owner in the late 1970s. A full restoration down to the chassis ensued and included new A and B pillars and upgrading to a higher output radiator. The paperwork with the car includes the V5C, previous valuations, test certificates and magazine cuttings from when the car was new, as well as photographs of the car’s restoration in the early 1970s and tours around Britain since. The interior has a beautiful weathered look whilst the hood has some areas where the stitching has come apart, however, this can be easily remedied. The Riley would make a good usable car with some light recommissioning. It has been running as recently as December 2024 and will take minimal work to see it run again. Just before it was laid-up, it benefitted from a full gearbox overhaul, covering a mere handful of miles since. It is to be sold at No Reserve. Registration No: TTU 283J Chassis No: G150118 MOT: Exempt1 of just 796 G15s understood to have been manufacturedLong-term previous ownership for c.11 yearsSubject to a self-evident previous restorationBenefitting from featuring the larger 998cc ‘Sports’ engineGinetta was founded in 1958 by the four Walklett brothers (Bob, Ivor, Trevers and Douglas) in Woodbridge, Suffolk. Although, best known for their sports racer and kit car designs, the quartet also produced a series of fully type-approved road cars beginning with the G15. Conceived as an affordable sportscar, the two-door Fixed-Head Coupe was introduced at the 1967 London Motor Show. Commendably light, its box-section ladder-frame chassis played host to a rear-mounted Hillman Imp Sports 875cc drivetrain, Triumph Herald / Spitfire front suspension, and sleek fibreglass bodywork. Benefiting from a very low rear roll centre and negative camber up front, the G15 proved an exhilarating drive. Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 12.9 seconds and 94mph in standard tune, the two-seater could also be had with an enlarged 998cc 'sports' engine with 65bhp on tap. Evolving through five series, the diminutive Ginetta fell victim to the oil crisis during 1974 but not before some 796 had been made. Arguably, the Walkett brothers' most famous model (and certainly their best seller), the G15 achieved considerable competition success at the hands of Chris Meek and Allison Davies among others.Manufactured in 1970, chassis number ‘G150118’ was registered new on the 14th September that year. Presented in Red paintwork with wheels and bumpers finished in Gold, the Ginetta features Black vinyl interior upholstery, with a wood-rimmed steering wheel. Uprated with the enlarged 998cc 65bhp 'Sports' engine utilising twin carburettors, it is allied to the four-speed manual gearbox. ‘TTU 283J’ has been subject to a self-evident older restoration and has been in long-term previous ownership for approximately eleven years, during which time the Ginetta was fully repainted and was prepared for use in hillclimbs, including fitment of a rear roll cage, but use in anger unfortunately never materialised. The G15 is offered now with some 63,000 recorded miles on the odometer, and has recently benefitted from new brake discs, callipers and lines; driveshaft and doughnuts and both master and slave cylinders. Supplied with a current V5C document, the G15 is an interesting alternative to the much more expensive Lotus Elan and is ideal for those who enjoy small, lightweight and revvy sports cars. Registration No: BL05 XDF Chassis No: SAJAC42P862A46142 MOT: May 2025Offered directly from the one and only ownerWarranted 49,000 miles from newNotably late example from the final full year of productionLast serviced at 47,287 miles by a Jaguar specialistAccompanied by a history file including original purchase invoiceIntroduced in 1996 and, from launch, was available in either Coupe or Convertible guise, like its immediate predecessor, the XJS, the original XK8 was more of a Grand Tourer than an outright sports car. It also had the distinction of being the first Jaguar to be powered by an eight-cylinder engine. This then, was a 'Big Cat' with strong DNA but also its own distinctive, endearing personality. At the time of the newcomer's unveiling, Jaguar Cars was owned by Ford, as was Aston Martin, and it made sound economic sense for the XK8 and similarly targeted DB7 to share the same platform; which itself was derived from that of the outgoing XJS. The biggest of many differences between new and old, was the adoption of Jaguar's second generation independent rear suspension system, previously found on the XJ40 Saloon. Prior to 2003, power came from either a normally aspirated (XK8) or supercharged (XKR) 4.0-litre version of the company's DOHC V8 AJ26 engine. From 2003 to the end of production in 2006, the 4.2-litre AJ34 unit was employed. In each case, the engine was allied to either a five or six-speed (from 1997 onwards) automatic transmission.Manufactured in 2005, ‘BL05 XDF’ is a notably late example being from the final full year of production and was supplied new to the vendor via Jaguar main agents Stratstone on the 30th June that year. Retained by the vendor ever since, the Jaguar is finished in its original and well-suited colour scheme of Midnight Black Metallic paintwork with a matching Black hood, and Charcoal leather interior upholstery. Used on summer days and for a few long-distance trips to Europe and Ireland, the vendor is now offering the Jaguar due to his advancing years. Offered now having covered a warranted 49,000 miles from new, the XK8 still boasts its dealer rear window sticker, tonneau cover in Black, and warning triangle. The Jaguar's specification includes heated seats, satellite navigation, air-conditioning, and desirable split-rim wheels.Benefitting from a new ABS sensor last year, new front brake discs and pads in 2021, and improvements to the suspension in 2017 costing some c.£1,400. Accompanied to the sale by a history file that includes, the book pack, servicing invoices from main dealers and specialists (the most recent service being completed at 47,287 miles by Jaguar specialist AWJ Automotive), a collection of previous MOT certificates, a letter from Stratstone to the vendor about his purchase of the car new, the original sales invoice, and a V5C document (which shows 1 former keeper rather than zero due to a DVLA error). This one owner and low mileage example, with many having covered over 100,000 miles, is scarce to see, and being a notably late example, is not one to miss. Registration No: RT07 AML Chassis No: SCFBE04B88GD08515 MOT: December 2025Desirable V8 Vantage Roadster presented in Onyx Black with matching Obsidian Black leather interiorBoasts desirable factory options including Bluetooth, cruise control, Aston Martin Premium Audio, heated memory seats and power-fold memory mirrorsOffered having been subject to much recent expenditureFollowing the unveiling of the AMV8 Vantage concept car in 2003 at the North American International Auto Show, the production version, known as the V8 Vantage was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 for the 2006 model year. Featuring bonded aluminium structure for strength and lightness, the V8 Vantage was initially powered by a 4.3-litre quad-cam 32-valve V8 which produced 380bhp and propelled the car to 60mph in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 175mph and benefited from a 49/51 front/rear weight distribution due to its front mid-mounted engine with rear-mounted transaxle. Later in 2006, Aston introduced their automated manual gearbox option, ‘sportshift’. Sportshift added electro-hydraulic control to the existing Vantage 6-speed manual gearbox to offer improved shift times and replaced the conventional manual gear lever with push button controls and paddles on the steering wheel. The Vantage was an immediate success. Some estimate by the time the car was first shown, some dealers had as much as a three-year waiting list and the car was one of only two cars added to BBC Top Gear’s ‘DB9 Section’ mini fridge, reserved for cars even cooler than ‘Sub Zero’. The car would later go on to receive Jeremy Clarkson’s 2005 Best Sounding Car of the Year, and Coolest Car of the Year. Nowadays, the V8 Vantage is still considered one of the best-looking cars of all time and has become an undisputed modern classic.Manufactured in 2007 and first registered on the 22nd October 2007, this gorgeous Aston is presented in Onyx Black with matching Obsidian Black interior. ‘AE57 KVT’ is a desirable Roadster with the much-loved sportshift gearbox. Showing just c.74,000 miles warranted miles from new, this particular example boasts desirable factory options including Bluetooth, cruise control, Aston Martin Premium Audio, heated memory seats and power-fold memory mirrors. It is understood that the car was first supplied by Stratstone of Wilmslow Aston Martin and there are a total of seven Aston Martin main dealer service stamps on file with the latest services performed by Quirks Car Company and latterly Dorset Sports Car, Aston Martin Specialists. There are seven previous owners recorded on the V5C Registration Document.Included with the vehicle are a number of documents including the original handbook, as well as a large folder containing invoices for other services and works carried out. The car also comes accompanied by original Tracker fobs and the vendor rates the car as ‘very good’ all round, with it evidently having been well cared for throughout its life.PLEASE NOTE: The registration number shown in the images is not included in the sale, the registration on the car is 'RT07 AML'. Registration No: VAS 771 Chassis No: C457425 MOT: ExemptBenefitting from a previous restoration that was understood to have been completed in 2002Finished in Black paintwork with Red interior upholsteryNicely presented, charming post-war classic!Introduced in December 1948, the new E493A Ford Prefect owed much to its pre-WW2 E93A predecessor. Based around a similar transverse leaf-sprung ladder-frame chassis, it was powered by the same 1172cc four-cylinder side-valve engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Sporting a handsomely restyled four-door saloon body complete with front-wing integrated headlamps and a fresh radiator grille design, it utilised 6-volt electrics plus vacuum-operated windscreen wipers. Laid out in the traditional manner, its interior boasted a well-stocked bakelite dashboard and two-tone upholstery. Immensely popular some 192,000 were made over the course of its five-year production run (though, today survivors are comparatively scarce).Manufactured in 1949, the E493A Prefect offered is finished in Black paintwork with a Red interior upholstery with White piping, and with Brown bakelite dashboard. Understood to have been provided with a full previous restoration that is thought to have been completed in 2002 and has reputedly covered less than 5,000 miles since the restoration’s completion. Offered now with 36,650 recorded miles on the odometer, the Prefect is accompanied by sundry paperwork and a current V5C document. A nicely presented and charming post-war classic! Registration No: J30 FFN Chassis No: WBSCK92090LB06451 MOT: January 2026Low mileage for the year and a collectable Z3 in a great colour with a factory hardtopc.76,800 miles from new with a comprehensive BMW and specialist service historyLast serviced at 76,541 miles, a 'no advisories' MOT and shod with 4 new tyresOffered with toolkit and manuals including book packBy shoe-horning the drivetrain of the four-seater M3 (E36) Coupe into the bodyshell of the two-seater Z3 Roadster, BMW effectively created a factory ‘hot rod’. Boasting a wider track, lower ride height, stiffer springs/shock absorbers and thicker anti-roll bars than its lesser siblings, the M Roadster also featured a limited-slip differential, reinforced subframe, and vented disc brakes. Powered by a 3.2 litre DOHC straight-six engine allied to ZF five-speed manual transmission, the svelte BMW had some 317bhp and 258lbft of torque on tap and was reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 5.3 seconds and 155mph (limited). Later versions, from February 2001 onwards, came with the marginally more powerful S54 engine plus Dynamic Stability Control (though, some drivers preferred the raw, more analogue feel of the early cars). Of the 15,322 Z3M Roadsters made between September 1996 and May 2002, just 991 were to RHD specification. First registered on 6th August 1998 and supplied new by Halliwell Jones BMW, this Z3M presents in Estoril Blue Metallic with a complementing Grey leather interior Well specified from new, the specification includes features such as heated seats for the driver and front passenger, a two-tone dashboard, a colour coded factory hardtop, electrically operated windows and mirrors and air conditioning. This example displays some 76,696 miles on the odometer, its last owner being a member of BMW Z3M Club, owned the car for 10 years and was responsible for having the car fully ceramic coated. The Z3M is being offered with a comprehensive service history recorded in its service book with the majority of entries being main BMW delaers (nine) and the rest specialists, including a record of the important 'Run-in Service' carried out by BMW at 1,391 miles. It comes to the sale supplied with the current V5C and two keys. The Roadster is now appreciated for its timeless design and is becoming rarer and more sought-after, especially in Z3M form. Registration No: RMA 324P Chassis No: 2S7114BW MOT: ExemptFinished in Cream with Tan ‘Connolly’ leather and a vinyl roofCollection of old MOT certificatesDaimler maintenance, lubrication and wiring chartsOffered with numerous invoices on file for work carried outThe Daimler Sovereign was a name applied to a sequence of luxury cars built by Jaguar but carrying the Daimler badge between 1966 and 1983 and were based on contemporary Jaguar body shells, chassis and engines. The launch of the Jaguar XJ6 in 1968 and its Daimler sister in 1969 redefined expectations in the luxury car sector. The new model truly 'moved the goalposts', setting new standards in comfort, refinement and handling. A waiting list was quick to form and enthusiasm remained strong upon the introduction of the facelift variant for the 1974 model year. Commonly referred to as the "Series II", the 4.2L XJ6 straight-6 engine (most popular in the United Kingdom) and the 5.3L V12 XJ12 were continued with an addition of a 3.4L 3,442cc version of the XK engine available from 1975. Initially, the Series II was offered with two wheelbases, but at the 1974 London Motor Show Jaguar announced the withdrawal of the standard wheelbase version: subsequent saloons/sedans all featured the extra 4 inches (10cm) of passenger cabin length hitherto featured only on the long-wheelbase model.First registered on 12th May 1976, this Daimler Sovereign 4.2 with automatic transmission, finished in Cream with Tan ‘Connolly’ leather and a vinyl roof, offered the height of luxury from BL of the day and with its long wheelbase, it delivered in terms of rear passenger comfort. ‘This gracious car is everything which Daimler has ever represented…a prestigious and dignified way to travel…spaciousness; refinement; proportion.’ Accompanying the Sovereign are the Daimler maintenance, lubrication and wiring charts, Daimler dealer list and a Daimler brochure from the period. There are numerous invoices on file for work carried out in Lancashire and Cheshire during the 1980s and ‘90s including the purchase of a pair of used carburettors and transmission and engine servicing. Inside there’s a period Fujitsu radio cassette with handbooks on file. It’s offered with a collection of old invoices & MOT certificates from the 1980s to the 1990s and the current V5C document. Registration No: LDB 27V Chassis No: LRH38557 MOT: September 2025A notably rare, 'home market' Silver Wriath II (the vast majority of the 2,136 made were supplied new to North America)Recently recommissioned following some seven years' dry storage and MOT tested despite being eligible for exemptionPreviously maintained by Broughtons of Cheltenham among othersPleasingly retains its original Dark Blue leather upholsteryCredible 89,000 miles and will be driven to the salePrompted by a new generation of more driver orientated luxury cars, the Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II was announced in February 1977. While, the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Jaguar XJ12 and BMW 7-series could not be viewed as direct competition, they illustrated the increasing importance that the buying public was placing on chassis dynamics. Thus, while Crewe’s newcomer utilised the same bodyshell, mellifluous 6750cc V8 engine and smooth-shifting GM400 series automatic gearbox as the outgoing Shadow, it gained a prominent front air dam, larger one-piece bumpers, revised front suspension geometry and - most importantly of all - power-assisted rack and pinion steering. Undeniably better to drive, the Shadow II further benefited from the adoption of a more ergonomic facia and split level air-conditioning. Still trimmed with the finest quality hides, wood veneers, chrome fixtures and carpets available, it treated occupants to a uniquely cosseting experience. Debuting alongside the Shadow II, the Silver Wraith II was near identical except for a longer wheelbase. Offering rear seat occupants an extra 4-inches of legroom, albeit at rather greater expense, it remained in production until 1980 by which time some 2,145 are thought to have been made. Finished in the handsome combination of Caribbean Blue Metallic with Dark Blue leather upholstery, chassis LRH38557 was supplied new to the home market. First registered on 19th November 1979, the Rolls-Royce has variously sported the number plates ‘LDB 27V’, ‘TWK 930’ and ‘PMB 206Y’ (the latter suggesting it might have spent time overseas). Carrying logos for main dealer Broughtons of Cheltenham to its keyfob, tax disc holder and current number plates, the Silver Wraith II displays a modest 89,000 miles to its odometer (less than 2,000 miles per annum if averaged out). Dry stored from 2017 – 2024, the four-seater has since been carefully recommissioned and put through a MOT test (despite being eligible for exemption). Starting readily and running well at the time of our visit, ‘LDB 27V’ will be driven to the Pavilion Gardens. Offered for sale with V5C Registration Document, tool kit and assorted paperwork. Registration No: K259 DAR Chassis No: WF0AXXGBBANY69178 MOT: May 2025Odometer displays just c.41,000 milesOffered with history file, MOT certificates and current V5CRecently refurbished alloy wheels shod with new tyresOne of only 30 Sierra Azura left registered on the road in the UKThe Ford Sierra was manufactured and marketed by Ford of Europe from 1982–1993 and followed the unveiling of its controversial shape at the 1982 British International Motor Show in Birmingham, shortly followed by the 1982 Paris Salon de l'Automobile. Sales began on 15th October 1982, replacing the Cortina MkV. Its striking aerodynamic styling, first seen on the Probe III concept car in 1981, was such that many conservative buyers (including company car drivers) shunned its design over rivals such as the Vauxhall Cavalier. A saloon model debuted in 1987 with the introduction of the facelifted Sierra, the saloon was marketed as the Sierra Sapphire on the UK market. The front end was completely revised, with the biggest difference being the indicators now positioned above the bumper and to the side of a new headlight design. While the grille again remained blanked off, the UK, Irish, and South African versions of the newly introduced saloon version featured a unique shallow black grille between the headlights. The rear lights were replaced with slimmer but wider models containing separate stop lamps.Supplied new by W. H. Perry (Ford) Limited, Rayleigh, on the 3rd December 1992 to first owner Mrs E. Ingram and in current ownership since 2020, this limited edition example of the Sierra, with its 1.8 engine and 5-speed transmission, displays a credible c.40,791 miles. Evidently looked-after in previous long-term ownership 2009-2019, its time-warp condition has even seen the Sierra used to represent 1990s scenography in the Channel 5 (UK) TV documentary 'The Girl in the Box'. In current ownership, spring 2020 saw differential and transmission oil topped-up, fluids changed, new tailgate struts, an immobiliser fitted and Waxoyl applied. Autumn 2020 saw the fitment of a battery switch and new front indicator light lenses. Improvements continued to be made into the spring of 2021, with the driver’s door handle replaced, a Tracker fitted, rear door rubber strips replaced, the rear driver’s side handle replaced, the fuel filter mount secured, a new wheel cylinder fitted, the cambelt replaced by Reliance Garage, Glossop and a new battery. Spring 2022 saw a NOS Ford exchange radiator fitted along with poly-bushes for the front suspension and autumn of 2022 saw the wheels powder coated and shod with new tyres and the original radio refitted. The Sierra benefitted from an oil change in May 2023 along with new number plates, as the originals wouldn’t pass the MOT. Offered with an MOT (into May 2025) and the current V5C. Registration No: PXL 333 Chassis No: B42ZY MOT: Exempt1 of just 2,017 Bentley R-Type Standard Steel Saloons madePreviously owned by an ex-Bentley engineer and subject to much mechanical improvement during his circa ten-year tenureRecent new starter motor and ignition system fettling (late 2022)Comes with RREC copy build records, original handbook, assorted bills and various tools etcDue to be driven to the saleAn obvious evolution of its MkVI predecessor, the Bentley R-Type was introduced at the 1952 Earls Court Motor Show. Subtly reworked from the previous model by in-house stylist John Blatchley, it boasted a notably larger boot and reprofiled rear wings. Switching from riveted to welded frame construction at chassis B349TO, the newcomer featured independent coil-and-wishbone front suspension, a leaf-sprung 'live' rear axle, and servo-assisted four-wheel drum brakes (hydraulic front/rod rear). Powered by a 'big bore' 4566cc straight-six inlet-over-exhaust engine allied to either a four-speed manual or automatic transmission, the R-Type was a surprisingly strong performer, able to reach more than 100mph. Praised by the contemporary motoring press for its high-speed handling and well-appointed interior, the model remained in production until 1955 by which time some 2,017 Standard Steel Saloons are thought to have been made. According to its accompanying RREC copy build records, chassis B-42-ZY was delivered to Hooper & Co for stock on 7th December 1954. Finished in Metallic Dual Grey with Red leather upholstery and Maroon carpets, the saloon was specified with an under car aerial, sun roof, automatic transmission and trafficators. Granted the distinctive number plate ‘PXL 333’, it was purchased new on 14th March 1955 by J.F. Howes Esq. of Belsize Avenue, London NW3 (an architect and serial Bentley owner). Seemingly retained by its first owner until 1964 when it passed to F.G. Pearson Esq of Aughton Springs, Ormskirk, the R-Type was then taken off the road for a while before being re-registered with the DVLA under its original number plate on 1st March 2003. Self-evidently the subject of a past bodywork restoration, the Bentley pleasingly retains its factory-fitted engine (B146Z) plus much of its interior trim. Mechanically improved during the custodianship of a former Bentley engineer who fettled its steering, brakes and fuel system etc, the R-Type was acquired by its last registered keeper on 27th July 2022 for £27,600. Subsequently treated to circa £2,000 worth of work at the hands of R&J MOT and Repairs Ltd of Cromford which encompassed a new starter motor, distributor cap, rotor arm and sundry electrical repairs plus general servicing, ‘PXL 333’ started readily and ran well during our recent photography session. Still smart cosmetically and with a nicely patinated cabin, it is anticipated that this appealing Bentley will be driven to the Pavilion Gardens. Offered for sale with the aforementioned build records, original handbook, handwritten schedule of work, various bills and sundry other paperwork. Registration No: KAN 494D Chassis No: 119831DN MOT: ExemptFinished in White complemented to a Red interiorThe subject of previous restoration workOffered with current V5C documentManual gearbox with overdrive exampleFor many, the definitive Jaguar sports Saloon, the MkII was introduced in October 1959. A peerless blend of elegance and muscularity, its sleek lines clothed an evolution of the Coventry marque's first monocoque design. Powered by derivatives of the same XK DOHC straight-six engine that had swept Jaguar to five Le Man's victories, the MkII was quick to dominate contemporary Saloon car racing. Synonymous with the swinging ‘60s and the hit TV series, Inspector Morse, the Jaguar MkII has been used as a vehicle to transport everyone from dignitaries and politicians to bank robbers and the criminal select. When launched, traditional Jaguar buyers had no need to feel alienated by the new offering from Coventry as the interior was up to their usual standards with leather and walnut being the order of the day. With 112bhp available, the 2.4 was not overly burdened with pace so, importantly, coupled with a manual gearbox it would be the more frugal of the range.Finished in White complemented to a Red interior, 'KAN 494D' is a manual gearbox with overdrive example. Understood to have been subject to a degree of previous restoration work, the Jaguar is offered with a good history file, with a collection of old invoices, MOT certificates and a current V5C document. Fitted with wire wheels, 'KAN 494D' was previously subject to a ‘Category C Insurance Loss' in 2011, however, it was subsequently repaired with evidence in the history file of the repair work that was carried out. Unveiled to the public two years later, the GTC followed established company practice by using a rigid box-section chassis to underpin its lightweight, rust-free fibreglass bodywork, yet it was lighter than the GTE SE6 on which it was based and could still seat four. With independent coil and wishbone front suspension, a Watt linkage located rear axle plus rack-and-pinion steering, handling was a strong point. Powered by the 2792cc Ford 'Cologne' V6 engine developing a quoted 135bhp and 159lbft of torque, the GTC could be had with either four-speed manual overdrive or automatic transmission. One of the faster four-seater convertibles of its generation, the Reliant was reputedly capable of 119mph and 0-60mph in 8.9 seconds. Produced from 1980 until 1986, just 442 were made.Chassis ‘000378’ was manufactured in 1983 and was supplied new to Johnstones Paints PLC being first road registered on the 27th September. Finished in Silver paintwork with Black interior trim and hood, the Scimitar is one of the rarer manual gearbox examples. Retained by Johnstones Paints until 1987 when it was acquired into private ownership. Entering into its longest ownership period in 1990 having already covered the vast majority of its mileage (some 75,000 miles), the GTC was retained by this keeper for nearly thirty years, before parting with the Scimitar in c.2018. While in this custodianship, the GTC was lavished with a full mechanical restoration and significant cosmetic improvement in 2001-2003 costing some £8,500.The works completed included a full engine overhaul (with conversion to unleaded), fitment of a reconditioned axle, stripped and checked gearbox, brake and suspension renovations, extensive re-wiring, a new hood, and a full interior re-trim, all completed by former main agents and now Reliant Scimitar specialists, Queensberry Road Garage. Completed in 2003 when the Scimitar had c.(1)02,800 miles on the odometer, ‘A569 HVU' has covered very minimal mileage since the completion of the restoration works following a long-term period of storage shortly after its completion.Offered now with just (1)04,000 miles on the odometer, the Scimitar is supplied with a history file that comprises ownership history, a large collection of previous invoices, numerous previous MOT certificates (back to 1989), sundry paperwork and a current V5C document. Temptingly offered without reserve, the GTC Scimitar offers British classic convertible motoring while benefitting from the practicality of four seats and this example has covered very minimal mileage since the restoration! Registration No: FOJ 991L Chassis No: GHD5300291G MOT: ExemptIn need of recommissioning after a period of storageOffered with copies of MG Owner's Club Magazine and owner's manualCollection of spares including a manifold and mid-section stainless exhaustIntroduced in May of 1962, the monocoque MG B was a welcome progression from the body-on-frame T-Series and MG A models that preceded it. The more modern construction resulted in weight savings, reduced manufacturing costs, and notably tauter handling. Initially, the B was only available in Roadster form - the Pininfarina-penned hatchback GT derivative, with 2+2 seating, not being offered until October 1965. At launch, the model was powered by a three-bearing version of the 1798cc B-Series engine that produced 95bhp at 5,400rpm. However, this unit was replaced by a five-bearing unit two years into production. The MkII model of 1967 brought an updated manual gearbox with revised ratios and synchromesh. By the time GT production ceased in 1980, a total of 125,282 is said to have been produced.First registered on the 24th October 1972, 'FOJ' presents as a 'formerly well-cared-for' MGB GT from long-term ownership and sadly it has been laid up since c.2017 and is now in need of recommissioning. We have been advised the engine turns and it was rolling until the brakes were recently found to be seized. There is believed to be a problem with the electronic ignition which is why the distributor cap is currently off the car, however, the vendor has been unable to fix it in his ownership. Registration No: V501 DBC Chassis No: SAJAC15J6YMF06122 MOT: January 2026Single ownership from newLow mileage example in outstanding conditionProfessionally stored from 2007 to 2024 Recently recommissioned with fresh MOT and no advisoriesPenned by Geoff Lawson and stylistically indebted to its XJ6 (X300) predecessor, the XJ8 (X308) was launched in 1997. Powered by a new generation of 3.2 or 4.0 litre AJ-V8 engines, the X308 would soon see an XJR derivative powered by a supercharged version of Jaguar’s 4.0-litre AJ-V8 engine which, with an output of 370bhp, was capable of powering the luxury saloon to 60mph from a standstill in 5.6 seconds and on to an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph.This low mileage, single ownership XJR still presents in an outstanding condition, helped by 17 years in professional storage from 2007 to 2024, only recently being recommissioned with a fresh MOT with no advisories. Originally purchased at a time when customers could buy a new UK specification car in Holland and drive it back to the UK, taking advantage of EU benefits of the day. Its single ownership from new, saw the V5C changed from a company name into the vendor's private name in March 2004. With a comprehensive Jaguar main dealer service history, an instrument cluster was replaced under warranty at 7,214 miles due to an early fault (August 2000, by Paramount Jaguar, Derby). c.41,700 miles is displayed, however, c.48,900 has been covered. The XJR is accompanied by the original book pack, 3 keys including the green valet key, original umbrellas, original overmats and the original painted coach lines. It has never been modified and is believed to have never had paint. For more information, please contact: Oliver Fernyhough-Martin oliver.fernyhough-martin@handh.co.uk 07483 361000

Registration No: 910 WBF Chassis No: 101323 MOT: ExemptCurrent ownership since 2010 with long-term previous ownerThe subject of an extensive restoration by the current custodianFitted with a 1,622cc B Series four-cylinder engineOffered with original drivers handbook and current V5CCollection of photographs including the restoration The Morris J2 was something of a revolutionary commercial vehicle for the marque. Bearing influence from emerging market competition from Ford, the J2 boasted a monocoque, chassis free body and a forward control engine layout, resulting in greatly improved space for the driver and front seat passengers. This paired with the use of a strong, albeit somewhat lacking in the power department, 1489cc BMC B-Series engine meant that the J2 sold in remarkable numbers, however very few of them have found their way into the modern era in good standing.First registered on 7th June 1963, this Morris J2 is believed to be the bearer of a camper conversion from new and the beneficiary of what we believe to be a Highwayman model by Bluebird Caravans Limited of Poole, Dorset. The accompanying buff logbook records it as a 'Dormobile', a manufacturer of different conversions, however, the name was often used generically. The buff logbook also records a number of owners also in the Staffordshire area, so it has resided in Staffordshire most, if not all of its life. The previous owner was a celebrated WWII war hero, prisoner of war, fighter with the Yugoslav resistance and a former chauffeur to the Queen Elizabeth II, according to some accompanying 'Burton Mail' clippings. Subsequently, the current owner acquired the van in July of 2010, whereupon a restoration was begun. Benefitting from preparation down to bare metal and a repaint and re-trim in complementing Green, it is now fitted with an awning, a working period gas hob, cold and hot water facility, a leisure battery and a Kenlowe engine fan, as part of the specification. Very few of these conversions appear to have survived. In 2025, it's perfect for festivals or Goodwood. Fitted with a 1,622cc B Series four-cylinder engine '910 WBF' is being offered with an original Highwayman brochure, an original period Morris J2 'book pack' and the old buff logbook, blue V5C and the current V5C. The S70's body style was overall more rounded compared to its predecessor. Changes included a redesigned front end with new lights, fully colour-coded bumpers and side trim, and clear indicator lenses for the rear lights, as well as a redesigned interior. According to Volvo, a total of 1800 changes were made.Standard equipment was improved with remote central locking, heated & electrically adjustable mirrors, 4 airbags, power brakes with ABS and power windows being standard on every car. Trim levels varied for each market as did the equipment levels of the most basic trims. In the United States, the badging denoted the engine variant and to some extent the equipment level, whereas in Europe engine and options could be chosen individually. On all markets more powerful versions usually received better or upgraded standard equipment. The T5 and R were the series high-performance models.First registered 1st April 2017 and with just 1 former keeper recorded, today the odometer displays a mere c.37,000 credible miles. Attractively attired in Metallic Green with a complementing Cream leather interior, the specification also includes automatic transmission and air conditioning. It is being offered at the sale from long-term ownership. It is believed to be a former government vehicle, perhaps supported by its specification and low mileage. It is being supplied with a history file that contains old MOT certificates, a collection of invoices and MOTs, the original owner’s wallet with the manual and service book and the old warranty certificate from the supplying dealer. Registration No: B144 WWT Chassis No: SCFCV81C6FTR15398 MOT: October 2025ex-Aston Martin Owner's Club Chairman ownershipJust 48,000 miles and four former keepers from newA notably nicely presented example with some £8,000 worth of expenditure in the last three yearsPrevious full repaint and still presented in its original colour schemeOffered with an extensive history fileOne of just 439 Weber-carburettor fed V8 Volantes madeIntroduced in June 1978, the Aston Martin V8 Volante was among the most stylish 2+2-seater convertibles that money could buy. Utilising a strengthened version of its two-door Saloon sibling’s sheet steel platform chassis, the newcomer was equipped with independent coil-sprung front suspension, a De Dion rear axle, four-wheel disc brakes and power-assisted rack and pinion steering. Sporting a ‘power bulge’ bonnet to accommodate the quad Weber carburettors that sat atop its 5340cc DOHC V8 engine, the soft-top was typically ordered with three-speed Torqueflite automatic transmission. Reputedly capable of over 140mph and 0-60mph in 7.7 seconds, the V8 Volante featured sumptuous leather upholstery and a beautiful burr walnut dashboard / door cappings. A smash hit with America’s rich and famous, most of the 439 carburettor-fed cars completed between 1978 and 1986 were to left-hand drive specification.Supplied new on the 1st April 1985 to the first owner, a business by the name of Cooper Metals, through Aston Martin main agents JCT600 (Car-Tech Centre) of Shipley, chassis 15398 was finished from the factory in the beautiful colour scheme of Forest Green paintwork complemented by a Beige leather interior upholstery with Dark Green piping and Green carpets. Serviced at Aston Works Service in Newport Pagnell for the first and second services, thereafter, service work was shared with other stalwarts of the marque; Ian Mason and Chapman Spooner, being serviced almost every year until 1998 and having covered 44,053 miles. Over the subsequent years, the Volante has clearly been cherished, making use of skilled Aston Martin specialists. In 2002/3, chassis 15398 was again entrusted to Ian Mason for significant mechanical maintenance, including removal of cylinder heads and conversion to unleaded fuel, as well as a comprehensive top-end overhaul undertaken including a carburettor refresh and a differential overhaul. The front suspension was also dismantled with brake and shock absorber renewal completed and sill restoration, amongst much further work, all of which totalled some £26,800.Stored off the road from c.2006 until 2016, the Volante was then entrusted to Byron International, who at the time were marque aficionados and brokers of some of the world’s finest Aston Martins, with ‘B144 WWT’ changing hands through them in 2017. During this process, the originality of the Volante was noted – for example, there were tabs on the seat runners that were on the car when new and normally would not stand the test of time. Lavished with a full repaint in its original colour combination shortly after, most recently the Aston Martin has received some £8,000 worth of expenditure in the last three years with improvements being completed by a classic car specialist and including servicing, a new high torque starter motor, renewal of drive belts, overhauls of the water and air pump, air-conditioning re-gas, improvements to the electrics, alloy wheel refurbishment, and new tyres. With minimal mileage covered since the extensive mechanical overhaul by Ian Mason (some 3,000 miles), ‘B144 WWT’ is offered now having covered just 49,000 miles from new and with only four former keepers, one of which was a former Chairman of the Aston Martin Owner's Club. Furthermore, if any V8 Volante was not exclusive enough, this example was chosen as the lead car for Autoglym's advertising campaign in 1989, with an original copy of the advertisement in a Classic & Sports Car magazine accompanying, showing the chauffeur fitted out, appropriately, in a Gieves & Hawkes suit. Offered with an extensive history file that documented the Aston Martin's early life in full detail, the file further includes MOT certificates back to 1989, a large collection of invoices, ownership history, and a current V5C document. Supplied with a no advisory MOT certificate until October, the tool kit, and jack, chassis 15398 was last serviced at 47,316 miles by a classic car specialist. This very nicely presented example is certainly worthy of close inspection! A simply exquisite motorcar, it is perfect for a long-distance journey in style. A major step forward, it evolved into the 14/40 of 1924. This was powered by the same four-cylinder OHV 2121cc engine, featuring magneto ignition and Claudel Hobson MZP carburation. This unit was mated to a three-speed gearbox with right-hand change, suspension was by semi-elliptic leaves at the front and cantilever units at the rear and four-wheel brakes were standard fare. The newcomer was offered with a variety of different bodies - two and five-seat Tourers, Coupe, Sports model, Saloon, and Saloon by Weymann. A total of some 2,850 14/40s were manufactured during the model's two-year reign.Chassis number ‘5917ED’ was supplied new to its first owner in December 1924 and was clothed in Tourer coachwork from new. The first owner, Ethelbert Stott, was a member of the Abraham Stott & Son cotton spinning company in the Manchester area. Residing in Leighton Buzzard for many years, he retained the Sunbeam for some thirty-six years, before the second keeper, a Mr Holden, had similarly long-term ownership of 20 years. Thereafter, the 14/40 was sold to a Health & Reach Motor Garage for use as a showroom display piece in 1980 and latterly purchased back into private family ownership in 1987. The Sunbeam was passed through several owners within the family before it was sold to the previous keeper as a recommissioning project in 2011.Between 1987 and 1990, the Sunbeam benefitted from an almost complete mechanical overhaul to the expense of c.£18,000 with minimal mileage since completion. Works included overhauls of the engine, front axle, radiator, dynamo and magneto; re-wiring; and new brakes, springs, fuel tank, stainless steel exhaust, as well as renewal of the weather equipment. Recommissioned by the previous keeper, the Sunbeam was back on the road in 2013 before being acquired by the vendor later that same year. In the custodianship of the vendor, ‘ND 8602’ has been lavished with a full cosmetic restoration and mechanical improvement to the sum of c.£8,800.Upon the beginning of the pandemic, the 14/40 was lifted on axle stands, where it has remained ever since. Requiring some recommissioning, it is offered with extensive history folders, the buff logbook, extensive invoices back to the 1980s, the original instruction book, previous logbooks, MOT history, photographs of the Sunbeam, technical information, weather equipment, a wall sign, technical information and a current V5C document. Fully mechanically and cosmetically restored with c.800 miles since, ‘5917ED’ is a very worthwhile re-commissioning project. Registration No: EL 1310 Chassis No: TLH83B68545 MOT: ExemptImported into Europe during World War I for service as a US staff carOffered with operational manual, collection of invoices and current V5CSubject to recommissioning in 2023/24An imposing and powerful Edwardian Tourer, VCC dated Long before the ubiquitous Willys Jeep had been conceived, the Willys-Overland Motor Company was a major producer of tough and reliable family automobiles - in fact from 1912 to 1918 only the mighty Ford Motor Company is thought to have produced more cars for the American market. Launched in 1915, the Model 83 was very little different to the Model 80 it succeeded, but did give the company the excuse for a major billing at the Panama Pacific Exposition - a World Fair being held in San Francisco that year. An advert of the time stated the specification as including: a 35hp engine with individually cast cylinders, five-bearing crankshaft, Stromberg carburettor, high tension Dixie magneto, thermo-siphon cooling, underslung rear springs, demountable wheel rims (plus a spare), electric starting and ignition and magnetic speedometer.‘EL 1310’, is understood to have been imported to Europe during WWI to fulfil its role in service as a staff car for General Pershing’s American Expeditionary Force. Featured in July 2024 The Automobile magazine and dated by the Vintage Car Club, it is an imposing and powerful Edwardian Tourer, with its 3.9 litre four-cylinder side-valve engine mated to a three-speed manual transmission and a sturdy 106-inch wheelbase. The subject of recommissioning in 2023-24, the work included new brake and clutch linings, an upgrade to 12v electrics, indicators and brake lights fitted, a flush of the fuel tank, new radiator hoses and a full service. We are advised by the vendor ‘the 83 starts easily with its electric start and also runs well’. Weather gear with the car consists of a full tonneau cover and an excellent hood with detachable side screens. As a nod to its history as a staff car, there’s a flag mount wearing a 48-star US flag. ‘EL 1310’, is offered with an operational manual, a collection of invoices and the current V5C, there are also some spares included lots of paperwork and the VCC certificate. Paying DM 100 million for the privilege (somewhat less than they had charged for the work) they readily agreed to VW's stipulation that the new car be built at the latter's Neckarsulm plant. Suitably reworked, the Harm Lagaay styled EA435 was unveiled to the world as the Porsche 924 in 1975. Based around a two-door Coupe monocoque shell equipped with MacPherson strut front and trailing arm rear suspension, it boasted a 50:50 weight distribution thanks to its rear-mounted transaxle. Powered by a 1984cc SOHC four-cylinder engine developing some 125bhp and 121lbft of torque, it was reputedly capable of 125mph and 0-60mph in 9.5 seconds. Noted for its fine handling (some unkind pundits said that it cornered too well for a Porsche!), it was systematically evolved gaining optional five-speed transmission in 1978 (standardised the following year) and a fully galvanised bodyshell in 1981.First registered on 1st August 1979, this 924 is believed to be a c.18,300 miles-from-new example with 4 recorded former keepers. Finished in Red and optioned with a sunroof the interior is finished in Brown, there's a period radio cassette player and it still has the rear cargo cover in place, that rolled out to cover the rear carpeted luggage area. Registration No: JKH 732L Chassis No: GAECNB06187 MOT: ExemptRare Cologne-built Mk1 Capri produced for the US marketPotent Cologne 2.6 litre V6 engine variantDefinite 'Bullitt' vibes, thanks to its distinctive colour schemeCalifornian import and current UK ownership since 2019Designed by Ford of Britain, the first generation Capri was built in both right- and left-hand drive guises. The sleek, two-door, Fastback Coupe was styled by Philip T. Clark (who had also had a hand in the Mustang) and had more than a touch of transatlantic glamour about it. Very much a ‘sporty compact’ by American standards, examples shipped there were manufactured in Cologne, Germany and sold through the Blue Oval’s prestigious Lincoln-Mercury division from April 1970 onwards. Visually distinguished from their European siblings by quad, circular headlights and a ‘power dome’ hood, US-bound Capris were initially powered by four-cylinder engines. A 2.6 litre ‘Cologne’ V6 was added to the engine line-up for 1972 becoming the first American-market vehicle catalogued by the Ford Motor Company with a V6 powerplant. The addition of unsightly impact bumpers in 1974 lessened the visual appeal of what Ford described as ‘the sexy European’ but sales remained decent as the ‘fuel crisis’ bit. Reworked by Weslake (complete with alloy cylinder heads), the Cologne 2.6 litre V6 went on to power the RS2600 homologation models. Even in standard tune, the 2.6 litre was rated at 123bhp and 151lbft of torque. This 2.6-litre Cologne V6 engined example of the Mercury Capri was supplied new to the target market of the United States of America, residing there for the vast majority of its life. Imported to the United Kingdom from California in 2018, the Capri is finished in the distinctive colour scheme of Green Metallic paintwork with a Satin Black bonnet, very much evoking the 'Bullitt' Mustang. The exterior appearance is completed with split-rim style alloys and Matt Black bumpers, while the interior is trimmed in luxurious Black leather upholstery and features a deep-dish Springalex steering wheel. Registered on British roads in 2018 as ‘JKH 732L’, the Capri has been in current ownership since 2019.Offered now with just shy of 40,000 miles showing on the odometer, the Capri is accompanied by import documentation, copies of Californian titles, previous MOT certificates, and a current V5C document. Undoubtedly cool, the Capri with its potent Cologne V6 and ‘Bullitt’-esque colour scheme is sure to turn heads. The vendor informs us that it “provides rapid acceleration, precise handling and responsive steering”. If you want something a bit different in the Fast Ford crowd, then this is certainly a more than viable option! Benefitting from the fitment of a new galvanised chassis recently, the 90 has received some £12,800 worth of further improvements (not including the chassis which cost c.£3,000) while in the current ownership, with the vast majority of the expenditure with two Land Rover specialists, LRC 4x4 of Congleton and Machins of Leek. These improvements have included extensive mechanical works with a new clutch, new brakes, a new alternator, attention to the electrics and bodywork repairs. Just prior to entering into the current family ownership, the Land Rover further received a new turbo (in 2016). Supplied with a history file that includes numerous previous invoices that document the improvements and service history, a collection of MOT certificates, and a current V5C document. Lavished with significant mechanical attention while with the vendor, the Land Rover can now be pressed into use as is or could be cosmetically improved. Registration No: H695 SAH Chassis No: VSE0SJJ3D00097006 MOT: August 2025 Fully restored some ten years agoFinished in a striking, unique colourBuilt by Land Rover Santana S.A. in SpainThe Suzuki Jimny, a small, simple and robust 4x4, became the brands first global success. In 1975 the SJ series ('Suzuki Jeep') was launched and it quickly gained a significant market share as it was cheap to buy and run. This led Suzuki to become the market leader for 4x4 cars throughout the 1980s. Particularly popular became the SJ 413 (four-wheel drive, 1.3-litre engine), later called 'Samurai'. Both the body and interior were redesigned with the introduction of a roll bar, along with a new dashboard, seats and grille.Built under license by Land Rover Santana S.A. in Spain, due to Euroean quotas, this attractively practical LWB version of the Suzuki SJ 'jeep' with a commercial-style hardtop and steel-roofed cabin, has been subject to an extensive restoration by the previous owner which has been effectively documented amongst the photographs and the plethora of digital files with the car, that include diagrams, schematics, how-to' guides and maintenance manuals. The car was stripped right down and the chassis and body separated to be cleaned, repaired, painted and built back to completion. Restoration work included new metal before a final repaint. The LWB Suzuki jeep's removable cabin top was replaced with a permanent steel roof and a rear door fitted to complement the tall hardtop. An attractive proposition as an off-roader, it would also make a fantastic promotional or eye-catching yet practical commercial vehicle. From what we know, the fibreglass rear top, without windows, is unlike any others we have seen, albeit likely from the same manufacturer as the factory approved tops with windows. It is offered with a spare set of Samurai wheels (10 hole steels compared to the 9 hole steels fitted to the vehicle), digital images and files relating to the restoration and the current V5 document. Registration No: NY57 WWE Chassis No: 1D7HA16K88J215717 MOT: May 2025Imported from the USA in 2021 and subsequently retained by a 4x4 specialist for his own useRare, 3.7 litre V6, six-speed manual transmission example (possibly uniqiue in the UK?)USA themed number plate with 'NY' and 'WWE' referencesCurrently £345 per annum to taxStyled by Cliff Wilkins, the third generation Dodge Ram debuted at the 2001 Chicago Auto Show. A ‘clean sheet’ design featuring all-new frames, suspension, powertrains, interiors, and bodywork, it could be had in 1500, 2500 and 3500 guises. Lighter and shorter than its siblings, the former also had the most car-like road manners courtesy of its independent front suspension and rack and pinion steering. Benefiting from permanent four-wheel drive, the 1500 was available with a choice of V6 and V8 engines allied to manual or automatic transmission. Uprated with AAM axles for the 2003 model year, the third generation trucks were facelifted three years later. A comparatively late third generation example, chassis 1D7HA16K88J215717 is unusual in that it was specified with the 3.7 litre V6 engine and six-speed manual transmission. Indeed, the seller thinks it could possibly be unique in the UK. Arriving on these shores four years ago, the Dodge was allocated the appropriate number plate ‘NY57 WWE’ (NY and WWE having strong American connotations). Retained by a British 4x4 specialist for his own use, the Ram 1500 SXT has since formed part of a small private collection. Considerably more fuel efficient than one of its V8 powered, automatic siblings, the left-hand drive Pick-Up’s annual road fund licence is understood to cost £345. Finished in Red Metallic with Grey cloth upholstery, ‘NY57 WWE’ boasts such niceties as air-conditioning, electric windows and cruise control. Passing its last MOT test with ‘no advisories’, the vendor informs us that the Dodge is ‘a tidy thing with no obvious rust anywhere and as clean underneath as on top with original paint work’. Offered for sale with V5C Registration Document, owner’s manual, detachable tow bar and sundry paperwork. For more information, please contact: Damian Jones damian.jones@handh.co.uk 07855 493737

Registration No: EX 6915 Chassis No: D236 MOT: ExemptJAP-engined V-twin MorganSubject to a comprehensive body and engine overhaul in 2003Affectionately known as 'Castrol' and previously displayed at the Haynes International Motor MuseumIn need of light recommissioningAn ingenious concept, HFS Morgan built his first three-wheeler in 1909. Based around a tubular steel frame, its low centre of gravity and advanced 'sliding pillar' independent front suspension endowed it with excellent road-holding. Progressively developed, the single rear-wheel-driven platform played host to a variety of JAP, Matchless, Blackburne, Anzani and Ford powerplants over the years (though, the prototype used a Peugeot unit). Fearsome competition cars, Morgan three-wheelers driven by the likes of HFS himself, Clive Lones and Harold Beart acquitted themselves well on race circuits and trial stages alike (Mrs Gwenda Stewart recorded 115.66mph during a record run at Montlhery in 1930). An evolution of the JAP powered Aero model, the Super Sports appeared in 1927. By 1933 Morgan's three-wheeler chassis could be ordered with four types of body, namely: Super Sports, Sports Two-Seater, Sports Family and Family. The Super Sports was notable for its chromium-plated exhaust pipes that run the length of the body. Interest in Morgans of this period has never waned and, if anything, increased in recent times - the company's inspired decision to create a modern three-wheeler having brought the early cars to the attention of a new audience.Built in 1933 and fitted from new with an 1100cc water-cooled JAP V-twin engine, little is known of the early history of chassis D236. However, a note from a previous owner suggests that the sporting three-wheeler was laid up during World War II and remained off the road until 1952, when it was subject to a rebuild and registered as ‘EX 6915’ which has been retained to this day. Evidence suggests that the car was used for racing during the years between its first rebuild and acquisition by the previous owner in 2010, and a recent chance sighting of a photograph of the car at a sporting event was found by our specialist hanging on the wall at the Fox & Hounds pub near Godstone, Surrey attesting to this.A note on file from the previous owner shows that the car was subject to a second complete overhaul in 2003 and painted in the current colour scheme of Castrol Green & Red, which resulted in the two-seater becoming fittingly known as ‘Castrol’. Upon acquisition, it was noted by the previous owner that the JAP engine was fitted with a racing camshaft, which was swapped back to a standard camshaft to make it more usable on the road, along with the fitment of electronic ignition and a new Amal carburettor. Such was the standard of ‘Castrol’, that in 2019 it was chosen by the Haynes International Motor Museum to be on exhibition with several other Morgans to represent the marque. Unfortunately, the previous owner’s age meant that his collection of Morgans ended up being laid-up for several years and when they needed to be sold off the vendor stepped in and purchased ‘Castrol’ and a more modern 2012 stablemate as non-running projects. A significant lack of time now means that both cars will be sold at our Buxton auction and are both offered 'as found' by the vendor in non-running condition in need of mechanical work, although it is noted by the vendor that both cars’ engines turn over and roll freely. The vendor has also noted that the bodywork is very straight, although cosmetically the paint and chrome has suffered from storage and may need some work if perfection is sought.Seldom do these pre-war three-wheelers get offered at this price level as they remain incredibly sought after. We feel that ‘Castrol’ would make a very rewarding project for any prospective purchaser. It is offered with a history 'write-up' from the previous owner and its UK V5C Registration Document. Registration No: GN06 LWC Chassis No: SARRXXTGB4D000297 MOT: January 2026Very rare and desirable V8, 4600cc Mustang engine example with five-speed manual gearbox, rear-wheel drive and LSDOne of just c.88 Estate 260s produced according to MG Owner's ClubJust 28,000 miles from newOnly 1 former keeperAfter a long wait, the rear-wheel-drive MG ZT made an appearance in September 2003. Completely re-engineering the standard ZT shell to accommodate Ford's superb modular Mustang 4.6-litre V8 engine which produced 256bhp and allied to a five-speed Tremec TR-350 manual transmission. SE spec examples included a Harman Kardon sound system with a factory subwoofer and X-Power rear exhausts, really enhancing that V8 soundtrack. An Auto Express report on the ZT 260s declared the Mustang engine cars as having ‘bags of torque, a well-engineered chassis and an intoxicating soundtrack, making this one of MG Rover's strongest products’. Limited numbers were produced with 187 MkI (pre-facelift examples) and 374 MkII examples understood to have been produced, of which only 88 of both generations were estate variants.'GN06 LWC' was supplied new by Ford main agent SMC Ford Sittingbourne, with Ford agents purchasing some of the ZT 260s that remained available and unregistered. This ZT-T was manufactured in 2005, before being first registered on the 24th May 2006, and would have cost a total of £29,450 when new. Finished in the attractive colour scheme of XPower Grey paintwork, the interior is trimmed in Dark Grey and Black half leather and half Alcantara, along with a Black leather dashboard and a Grey roof lining. An extremely low mileage example having covered just 28,000 miles from new, the ZT-T has been in the possession of just two registered keepers. Residing in Sittingbourne whilst in the first ownership, the MG covered approximately 18,000 miles, before being purchased by the second keeper in 2007, covering a further 10,000 miles subsequently. Most recently in dry storage since 2016 (but still maintained), ‘GN06 LWC´ started readily, and both ran and drove well for the recent photography session. Benefitting from a new battery at the start of this year, the MG is supplied with a history file that contains the combined stamped service book and owner's handbook, a collection of previous MOTs, the original price list and sales brochure, a no advisory MOT certificate until January next year and a current V5C document, as well as two keys. Presented very nicely, all Mustang engine ZTs are very rare, with the estate variants being exceptionally scarce. The 260 ZTs are undoubtedly becoming incredibly collectable! Registration No: TSY 381 Chassis No: SA 2946 MOT: ExemptIn need of recommissioning after a period of storageAn interesting pre-war SpecialStill registered with the DVLA although a new V5C will need to be applied forUsed by the previous owner at numerous speed events and potentially VSCC eligibleIntroduced at the 1935 London Motor Show, the MG 2-litre (subsequently re-christened the ‘SA’) debuted as a four-door saloon. Based around a substantial ladder frame chassis equipped with semi-elliptic leaf-sprung suspension and four-wheel drum brakes, the newcomer was powered by a 2288cc OHV straight-six engine allied to four-speed manual transmission. A direct competitor to the SS Jaguar 2½ Litre Saloon, the MG boasted an 85mph top speed and similarly luxurious interior. Arriving in April and July 1936 respectively, a Tickford-bodied Drophead Coupe and Charlesworth-clothed Open Tourer broadened the appeal of the SA, while the following year brought an increase in cubic capacity to 2322cc. Production was curtailed by the outbreak of WW2 after some 2,738 cars had been made (though, saloons accounted for the vast majority). However, only 263 survivors (9.6%) are currently known to the SVW Register. Understood to be one of just 128 MG SAs produced during 1939 but not road registered until the following year, chassis SA 2946 is thought to have been re-configured as a Special during the 1960s. Beginning life as a Tickford Drophead Coupe, its current four-seater Tourer body is considerably lighter (to the undoubted benefit of performance). Sporting twin rear-mounted spare wheels, ‘TSY 381’ was reputedly used by its previous keeper for a variety of speed events. Potentially eligible for various Vintage Sports Car Club meetings (subject to inspection and acceptance), the MG has been off the road for a number of years. Appearing to be substantially complete, it will require thorough recommissioning before running in anger again. Last issued with a V5 Registration Document in 1997, ‘TSY 381’ remains known to both the DVLA and HPi albeit a new owner will have to apply for an up-to-date registration document. An intriguing project, six-cylinder, four-seater pre-WW2 Tourers are rarely this affordable. We are indebted to the previous owner for the below information:-The MG was converted by E L woods after the war from a Tickford Drophead, that was early 1950s and he went racing , mainly Oulton Park near where he lived , I took it to Oulton Park 45 yrs ago , meeting Ron Gammons , who remembered her racing back then. The engine is fully balanced , and raced by me on the Williston Pusuit Spint IOM where I beat the Bentley boys and the Riley boys, winning the Promenade sprint there as well . The MG SA was also used to raise £28,000 pounds for Blackpool Hospice donated through the Louise Woolcock and friend Lady Dianne Foundation, a very proud moment in its history, She's very capable of the Ton 4 up, she has a new Cork clutch, and specialists converted her big end bearings, from White metal to MGA big end shells, more durable for racing. I may also be able to find the original Buff log book and V5. For more information, please contact: James McWilliam james.mcwilliam@handh.co.uk 07943 584760

Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel-drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin. The Defender was fitted with an all-new 2.4-litre, five-cylinder in-line turbo/diesel engine and is mated to a six-speed manual transmission.First registered on 25th August 2009, this very practical iteration of the Defender has a 6-speed manual gearbox mated to its desirable 2.4 TDCI engine. The Defender’s specification includes 3 seats in the rear, a tow bar, winch and a hardtop cover. Displaying some 130,000 miles on the odometer it has benefitted from maintenance and upkeep in the recent 2-year ownership, that includes the chassis being treated with Waxoyl and having the offside rear shock absorber replaced. Being bought by businesses throughout it's life, VAT is payable on the hammer price as well as buyer's premium. A new battery is expected to be fitted to the Defender prior to the auction. It is being offered with a current V5C Registration Document.PLEASE NOTE: VAT is payable on the hammer price achieved by this lot (as well as on the buyer’s premium) For more information, please contact: Oliver Fernyhough-Martin oliver.fernyhough-martin@handh.co.uk 07483 361000
