A FABERGÉ SILVER AND GUILLOCHE ENAMELED FRAME, ANDRE GORIANOV, ST. PETERSBURG, 1899-1908. Circular form and translucent oyster enamel over moiré engine-turning, set with floral swags, beaded border and ribbon tied finial. Wood back with silver scroll strut. Hallmarked St. Petersburg 1899-1908, Cyrillic workmaster initials "AG" and 84 silver standard. Height 3.1 inches (7.8 cm).
A RUSSIAN SILVER AND GUILLOCHE ENAMELED SALT, ST. PETERSBURG, 1908-1917. Resting on a slightly raised pedestal foot, the sides with a band of translucent sapphire blue enamel over an engine-turned ground. Hallmarked St. Petersburg 1908-1917 and Cyrillic makers marks "PIK." Diameter 1.6 inches (4.2 cm).
AN IMPERIAL RUSSIAN SILVER PLIQUE-A-JOUR, GUILLOCHE AND CHAMPLEVÉ ENAMEL SHERBET CUP WITH MATCHING UNDERPLATE, KHLEBNIKOV, MOSCOW, 1899-1907. Rising from a cone form foot, the tapering central stem supporting a tri-form node from which extends three support arms holding the bowl. The base, stem, and lower bowl of scrolling foliage and flower forms in champlevé enamel, the rim of bowl in plique-a-jour enameled flowerheads, the interior in translucent lime green enamel over an engine-turned ground, and the tri-formed node with shaded enamel coat of arms for the cities of Moscow, Novgorod, and Kazan. The underplate with flared foot, the border in plique-a-jour enameled flower forms, the cavetto with champlevé enameled medallion encircled with a band of translucent lime green enamel over an engine-turned ground, hallmarked Moscow 1899-1907, with Cyrillic makers mark of Khlebnikov beneath the Imperial Warrant and 88 silver standard. Together with a silver-gilt champlevé and plique-a-jour sherbet spoon with flat shaped handle on a twisted stem, hallmarked Moscow 1908-1917, makers mark for the 11th Artel (unillustrated). Measurements: Sherbet height 7 inches (17.8 cm), underplate diameter 7.5 inches (19 cm), spoon length 5.6 inches (14.5 cm).
A FINE AUSTRIAN GUILLOCHE ENAMEL ANNULAR CLOCK, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. Of sectioned egg form with finely enameled cartouches of young beauties on a pink translucent guilloche enamel and engine turned ground, the two sections divided by two silvered annular chapter rings within gilt bronze mounts raised on a bell shaped enameled stand with octagonal onyx plinth. Stamped "Made in Austria." Height 7 inches (18 cm). For another example see Fontaines, February 19, 2011 auction, lot 195.
A VERY FINE 14K YELLOW GOLD AND DIAMONDS CIGARETTE/CARD CASE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY. Of rectangular form with finely chased foliate straps and rosettes on an engine turned ground with central cartouche mounted with an initial "C" set with 18 rose-cut diamonds below a hinged lid with rose-cut diamond thumb piece latch. Stamped 14k and with indistinct makers mark. 3.25 inches x 2.5 inches (8.3 x 6.4 cm), weight 63 grams.
A small collection of silver, comprising a sugar sifter spoon, London 1906, a pair of oval napkin rings, Birmingham 1938, another napkin ring with engine turned decoration, Birmingham 1932, a rectangular matchbox holder London 1932 by Mappin & Webb, and an oval hinged bangle, Birmingham 1968.
A Victorian two colour gold and turquoise set pendant locket, engine turned at the centre within a floral and foliate border, on a gold oval link neckchain detailed `15`, with a cylindrical clasp, a pair of colourless paste set cluster earrings with wire fittings, a pair of operculum earrings with wire fittings, and a turquoise and diamond set starburst shaped motif.
